&lt;p&gt;For a portfolio under 100 applications, I think a dedicated APM tool is worth it once spreadsheets start hiding ownership gaps, dependencies, and retirement risks. CAST Highlight feels easiest to justify for a quick health baseline, while LeanIX or Ardoq makes more sense when reporting and dependency mapping are the bigger pain points.&lt;/p&gt;
