There are no complicated coding or tech requirements needed, which is very helpful when rolling out the system to a "multi-generational" team. Forms are easy to build and edit, whether that's creating a new form from scratch or simply adopting the available templates built into the system. Some scenarios we definitely see ourselves using this for are natcat incident reporting (typhoon/earthquake being in a tropical country), motorcar incident with insurance claims, and daily hazard report (already templated in the system itself). The experience is comparable to creating a Google Form but obviously with more capabilities in terms of data specifications, reporting, and collection. We like that Gruntify can be accessed from almost any kind of device (computer/mobile) and team members can submit data both online AND offline. This flexibility and accessibility is extremely important for our subsidiaries that operate in multiple project sites, some with areas that don't allow for bringing much equipment other than a phone or tablet or where there is unstable mobile data reception. Our status quo is collating data manually (consolidating Excel sheets) thrice a week, but you can imagine how tedious and time-consuming it is. With Gruntify we can shift to having all the data available in one system, saved in one Cloud, with one way of data submission, and cut the manual administrative task out entirely to free up our team members to work on other things. **What do you dislike about Gruntify?** No real complaints with the system so far, maybe just more options in terms of customising tasks accessible to different user roles to best fit our company's team structure. By creating a workspace for each team and assigning a form that they can use, we have streamlined and improved our data gathering process. There were a lot of options that we could select which helped meet our detailed requirements. **What do you dislike about Gruntify?** I have no major issue with the tool. At first I wasn't sure such a straightforward system could offer the kind of long-term solution my team needed to gather and process data from our range of offsite research locations. But I had a usable data collection platform up and running in minutes, and the more I learn about what it can do, the more I see other problems it can solve. I appreciate having a single solution to replace the other spreadsheets and forms I'd been using before. **What do you dislike about Gruntify?** Nothing to dislike, so far. We may need to engage more with support as we start to apply it to more ambitious use cases, but nothing I've seen so far makes me think this would be a problem going forward. **What problems is Gruntify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Gruntify has reduced overheads related to data collection, processing, and analysis, without compromising the quality of data collected. Often with data collection tools, you have to make sacrifices on the interface you use or the types of data you can collect in the design; however, Gruntify's flexible platform allowed us to build digital workflows to mimic our old paper processes. The value is exponential for orchestrating recovery efforts and giving responders the location intelligence they need for speed and decision-making. **What do you dislike about Gruntify?** Because we built the digital workflows to fit our Fire response use case, we were unable to administer on-boarding and training through the app alone. **What problems is Gruntify solving and how is that benefiting you?** In an emergency situation, quickly supporting displaced residents is the top priority for the City. The City needed a solution to orchestrate recovery response across multiple City departments as well as external agencies such as the Red Cross. We also needed a way to equip responders with the ability to collect and share high-quality data in the field. Using Gruntify, San José rolled out a mobile app that uses push notifications programmed with conditional logic to better share data and orchestrate recovery efforts across departments and agencies. I can check out on all my units, tenant requests without leaving the house. My personnel can also send me videos or photos real-time on work progress. I can easily assign checklists of work the needs to be done. **What do you dislike about Gruntify?** There's a learning curve and the onboarding can be improved. **Recommendations to others considering Gruntify:** It's efficient and time-saving, given the fact that you can do site inspections remotely without having to travel on location. You easily assign tasks to personnel and retrieve progress reports, checklists and photos/videos realtime- that's a big plus! The app also saves a ton of paperwork - including reports. You can also track your personnel's location real-time. **What problems is Gruntify solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have been managing and renting out apartments for years, and being a landlord, it’s really tasking to go visit and check every unit for inspections, repairs and maintenance. With Gruntify, I am able to inspect and check my apartment units real-time - on the go. The form feature is very easy to use and I am able to send checklists of tasks to my plumber or electrician or other personnel regarding any repairs to be made. They can also send me pictures of the work done real-time with regards to the progress of the job. ### 7. All inspections and user activity includes highly accurate location data, allowing us to make faster, smarter decisions from map views to filtering. Reports are highly customisable and easily filterable and can be tailored for our different contractors needs. The mobile forms and maps work offline, so our data is always accessible and safe. Media attachments such as pictures, video and audio work great. Very fast and easy to use. The annotations are very handy too! **What do you dislike about Gruntify?** Haven’t found many issues at all yet. I think the main thing that is lacking is maybe a worker assignment or scheduling option ie. to extend the workflow capabilities of the product. **Recommendations to others considering Gruntify:** Gruntify is feature rich, easy to use and extremely affordable. Probably the best bang for buck inspections and mobile forms software we found based on our evaluations. There aren't many companies can correctly populate data points while maintain reasonable website response and loading time. And Gruntify seems to be the only product that does the right thing to combine form/request/workflow with map visualisation. Not to say that Gruntify also allows you to customise your map with almost 100 base map styles from dozens of providers. It also allows you to create your customised map layer without knowing too much tech detail. I've been worked with different map providers such as mapbox, arcgis etc. They require you to be an expert to use their service. However with Gruntify, it makes it so easy. And that is the true definition of power of technology - the ability to make complex stuff accessible to more people. Apart from the maps, what really impressed me is the ability to create your own form and maintain different version easily. Before Gruntify, if I want to collect data in a given format I only have 3 ways: 1. use paper form; 2.use Google Form which only support simple structure; 3. build your own form server/website. Clearly none of them is ideal, they are either too complicated, or not really fit the business need. Gruntify is the first and only product I've ever find that could help people to build form with complex structure, conditional logic and various of control types. And it also can maintain different version of the form and migrating data from lower to higher version. **What do you dislike about Gruntify?** The only thing I think Gruntify could improve is to introduce more customised controls and categorise them in business domain. The current controls fits 95% of the business need. But that 5% is also very important for some key business area. But I am glad to see that the Gruntify team is already working on that, though it could take time for changes to roll out. **Recommendations to others considering Gruntify:** This is the service you are looking for if you need to see your data on a real interactive map and control your workflow precisely. I would highly recommend you to give it a try. **What problems is Gruntify solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am developing a price matching/comparing application. So data needs to be collected on a geo-location base. It would be a crucial part to have the data points populated on a real interactive map. Gruntify helped me to visualised the data. ### 10.
