"Gotalk – A reliable and convenient communication platform"
What do you like best about Gotalk?

What I like most about Gotalk is its simple, clean, and intuitive user interface, where even new users can start using it immediately without any technical knowledge. Additionally, its excellent audio and video quality is particularly helpful in large team meetings or professional calls, as the sound and video remain absolutely clear. I also like that it is like a 'multi-tool', where chat, audio calls, video calls, and meeting scheduling are all available in one place. Features in Gotalk such as sharing meeting links, joining with one click, notifications and reminders, group calls, and large meeting rooms make work faster and more organized. Gotalk is suitable for both small and large uses, whether it's conversations between 1-2 people or large team meetings. Moreover, new updates keep coming from time to time, which shows that the platform is continuously listening and improving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gotalk?

Sometimes the connection is not stable. Issues such as audio cutting out, video freezing, and sudden call drops have been observed on weak internet. Limited availability of advanced features, such as advanced meeting control, breakout rooms, and auto-recording are not available. The mobile app sometimes feels less smooth in UI and there can be delays in notifications. In notification management, there are too many notifications or essential alerts are missed. Customization options are limited. There is a lack of integration, requiring deeper connection with other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowering Communication with Ease"
What do you like best about Gotalk?

I use Gotalk to help my non-verbal kid communicate, and it’s simple, fast, and reliable. What I like most about Gotalk is how super easy and fast it is to customize to our needs. I can add new buttons, change pictures, record my own voice or use text-to-speech, and rearrange pages in like 2 minutes right on my phone. The initial setup was super easy, taking me about 10-15 minutes total. I also appreciate that Gotalk is straightforward, affordable, and easy to customize compared to other products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gotalk?

I would suggest a few things that could be better with Gotalk: the free version has a lot of ads that pop up sometimes and distract my kid. Organizing a lot of pages gets messy, and there's no easy folder or search button. The voice sounds a bit robotic on text-to-speech, maybe you can use real recorded sessions. "Perfect for Fluency and Flexibility"
What do you like best about Gotalk?

I use Gotalk to improve my spoken Spanish and confidence, and it's a great platform for connecting to native speakers. I love the ability to improve the ability to speak fluently and improve my listening skills. What I like most about Gotalk is the ability to have real natural conversations in a friendly supportive environment. I also love how flexible and convenient it is because I can use it anytime and schedule conversations around my daily routine, saving me time since I don't have to travel anywhere. Additionally, I loved the convenience of how easy it was to set up and understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gotalk?

The only thing that I can see that needs improvement is the ability to have real-life conversations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowering Communication with Limitations"
What do you like best about Gotalk?

The most likable thing about GoTalk is how simple and empowering it feels for the user—people can express exactly what they want or need without relying on others to guess, giving them a real sense of independence and confidence in communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gotalk?

One limitation of Gotalk is that it can be too simple for more advanced communication needs. While it works well for basic requests and choices, it doesn’t support complex sentences, rich vocabulary growth, or word prediction, which can make communication slower and less expressive over time. The layout is fairly rigid and requires significant setup by caregivers, and as users’ language skills develop, they may outgrow the system and need a more flexible AAC app. The initial setup of Gotalk can be time-consuming and caregiver-dependent. Someone must decide which vocabulary to include, organize buttons and pages, choose symbols, and record or assign speech to each button before the user can effectively communicate. "Affordable, Versatile, and Easy Voiceover Solution"
What do you like best about Gotalk?

I like that Gotalk provides studio-quality audio for a fraction of the cost, saving me from hiring a voice actor and renting a studio. Having access to 450 voices across 50 languages makes it easy to find a perfect match for my project needs. You aren't stuck with just a generic voice; you can find one that matches the personality of your project. Since Gotalk is web-based, there are no heavy software installations, and most users can create an account and generate their first high-quality voiceover within 2 to 5 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gotalk?

Users often wish for more granular 'emotion' sliders. A voice that is too perfect can feel eerie; adding a subtle breath before a long sentence or a thoughtful pause makes the listener trust the voice more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Mobile-First Communication for Field Teams"
What do you like best about Gotalk?

I like Gotalk for its simplified real-time team communication, focusing on a mobile-first design optimized for US field and frontline workers. The mobile app is the primary experience with core features like chat, alerts, and file sharing built for on-the-go use, which makes it a perfect fit for field service techs in areas with spotty cell service. The low-bandwidth support ensures seamless operation even in rural US areas, which is crucial for our team. The simplified, large UI designed for on-the-job use is excellent, allowing field workers to interact with ease. One-tap targeted alerts are a standout feature that helps urgent notifications bypass chat noise and improve response times. I also appreciate the built-in peer recognition and shoutout feature that boosts engagement without needing separate management tools. It's an efficient way for team members to celebrate small wins. Lastly, the initial setup of Gotalk is incredibly fast and intuitive, enabling even non-technical teams to get started quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gotalk?

I don't like that there's no version control. If a team member updates a field service report or client quote and re-shares it on Gotalk, there's no way to track versions. Our sales team has accidentally used outdated client quotes shared in chat because of this. Also, Gotalk has limited cloud storage for free or mid-tier plans. US SMBs with field teams generate hundreds of job photos and reports monthly, and Gotalk’s default storage caps force constant manual deletion of old files to free up space, with no auto-archive option. "Streamlined Communication with Intuitive Features"
What do you like best about Gotalk?

I really appreciate how intuitive Gotalk’s interface is—it’s clean, simple, and easy for everyone on the team to pick up quickly. I also like the way conversations can be organized by channels, topics, or projects, which keeps discussions structured and easy to follow. Notifications are timely without being overwhelming, and the search functionality makes it simple to find past messages or shared files. Another aspect I enjoy is the seamless integration with other tools we use, like calendars, task managers, and document storage, which helps keep all our work connected in one ecosystem. I also find the real-time messaging to be fast and reliable, which makes collaborating on urgent tasks much smoother. Finally, I really value the built-in features for team collaboration, like file sharing, polls, and pinned messages—they make communication more dynamic and actionable compared to just a standard chat platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gotalk?

While Gotalk is generally reliable, there are a few aspects that could be enhanced. Video and voice calls sometimes experience minor lags or connection issues, especially with larger teams, which can interrupt meetings or discussions. The mobile app, though functional, can occasionally feel less responsive than the desktop version, particularly when switching between multiple channels or threads. Additionally, some advanced customization options—like notification settings, channel organization, and message filtering—could be more flexible to better suit different team workflows. Finally, while integrations with other tools exist, expanding the range of supported apps and making setup more seamless would make Gotalk even more powerful for teams relying on multiple platforms. "Intuitive UI with Lifesaving Communication Features"
What do you like best about Gotalk?

I appreciate Gotalk's straightforward and easy-to-navigate user interface, which makes finding what I need a breeze. The clean and simple UI enhances sending memes and reacting to messages without any hassle. Its mobile-first optimization is fantastic—fast, lightweight, and efficient. I really value Gotalk's voice messaging and free calls; they're lifesavers for staying connected without extra costs. The simple, clean interface adds to its appeal, making navigation effortless. I also enjoy the local language support, letting me switch languages seamlessly when chatting with friends or elders who prefer it. The setup was smooth as well, with the onboarding process being clear and quick, even on slower connections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gotalk?

I think group chat upgrades could be better; maybe add threads or topics to keep conversations organized. I wish there were better file-sharing options, like allowing larger files or even collaborative docs. Voice message transcription would also be a game-changer for busy Naija users. "Effortless Team Collaboration with Gotalk"
What do you like best about Gotalk?

I love Gotalk for its awesome use in remote meetings and team catch-ups. It's great for quick video calls and collaboration with teammates across different locations. The super simple interface makes it easy to hop on a call and share screens. I also appreciate the audio and video quality, which is impressive for a free tool. The mobile app rocks with seamless transitions between laptop and phone. The chat feature is super handy for quick updates even outside calls. Gotalk integrates well with tools like Slack, Google Calendar, and Trello, boosting productivity. Switching from Skype to Gotalk was a good move for us because of its simpler and more mobile-friendly interface without the annoying lag. The setup was super easy and required no tech headaches, and overall, I'd totally recommend Gotalk as a no-brainer for remote teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gotalk?

Honestly? 😊 Gotalk's 🔥 but could use: - More recording options 🎙️: Basic recording's there, but advanced features (like transcripts) would be awesome! - Customization 🎨: A bit more control over layouts/themes would be cool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
