## Gong Reviews
  ### 1. Necessity Software!

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly G. | Implementation Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google using a business email account

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2022

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Gong?**

In Gong, you can set rules and settings that notify you if x,y,z were or were not said or addressed during a call. It's a great training tool to help show where we can improve our talk tracks.

There are pipeline reports that make it easier for me to see deals coming my team's way. I appreciate the transparency, it allows me to be more prepared for deal assignments.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Under a specific client, I'd like to be able to see the entire call history instead of the last recorded call and emails (this might be a lack of platform knowledge on my side)

**Recommendations to others considering Gong:**

Easy to use. Easy to share calls. Excellent for tracking progress of clients and understanding their needs and interactions with your company. A must-have for Sales and Customer Success organizations alike.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong is helping our Sales and Operations teams track deals, better understand (and remember) what each specific client wants out of our services, and have an easy to reference visual and transcripted log of what was said and when.

  ### 2. Top-Notch Call Analysis with Excellent AI Transcription and Chatbot

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

It’s easy to invite to meetings, very easy to find calls and the tools it offers to view and analyze the calls are top-notch.

It’s one of the few good good use cases for AI. It’s transcription capabilities are very good and with the chatbot you can ask it anything and get a fairly accurate response with sources for you to manually verify.

Finally, their MCP server makes it even more capable.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

It’s a bit cumbersome to navigate and some features are weirdly fragmented across different menus. It’s also got a bit of a learning curve

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to revisit previous calls anytime to verify claims, being able to get more context from calls you were not present in and being able to generate reports for CAB sessions or user tests.

  ### 3. Gong Makes Customer Conversations Easy to Review and Turn into Actionable Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martina G. | Performance Marketing Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong makes it much easier to understand customer conversations and identify actionable insights. I especially like how it helps me quickly review calls, understand customer pain points, and spot patterns without having to manually go through every conversation.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The amount of information available can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when reviewing multiple calls. It would be helpful to have more streamlined ways to surface the most relevant insights and quickly identify key takeaways without having to go through too much detail.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Gong to keep track of important customer conversations and make sure nothing gets lost after a call. It helps us quickly revisit discussions, understand client needs better, and keep everyone aligned on follow-ups and next steps.

  ### 4. Strong conversation capture and deal visibility, but AI and sequencing feel limited

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hremant C. | Data Associate - Panel, Market Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google using a business email account

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like that Gong goes beyond being a passive call recorder and becomes an active revenue execution platform by turning conversational insights into deal momentum. It consistently joins scheduled video calls, syncs audio, and captures and archives conversations well, with high-accuracy transcripts for standard English business dialogue. Auto-generated tasks help make sure verbal commitments and agreed next steps don’t slip through the cracks, and email tracking plus multi-channel outreach let reps engage key stakeholders at the right time with full context, reducing workflow friction and avoiding the need for a separate sales engagement tool.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Gong’s voice features still run into occasional transcription errors, especially with heavy accents or cross-talk, and there’s also some dialer latency. The pipeline management view can feel visually cluttered, and the algorithmic health scores often misinterpret nuanced, offline deal dynamics and can flag false alarms on slow-moving accounts where work happens offline. Campaign management feels rigid compared with dedicated sequencing tools, lacking advanced branching logic, granular cadence triggers, and deeper multichannel personalization. We also skip calendar management and workflow automation/performance tracking because they feel redundant or too rigid versus dedicated tools, without the granular conditional logic, custom triggers, or deep, bi-directional CRM sync we need.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong significantly improved deal visibility by eliminating reliance on subjective rep updates, clearly mapping multi-threaded stakeholder activity and flagging early warning signs like ghosting, lack of follow-ups, or missed next steps. It also gave us an exceptionally reliable operational record of conversations for standard calls, though I still treat AI summaries and auto-detected action items as something that needs human verification in tougher audio or jargon-heavy situations. The biggest coaching value came from peer-modeling, listening to top performers’ recorded calls in content libraries to refine objection handling.

  ### 5. Useful call metrics and recaps, but transcripts can be off and other tools do it better

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan O. | Senior Business Analyst API and Partneships, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like that Gong lets our business take in metrics and find areas we can improve on, whether that’s assessing the call or seeing customer satisfaction. I’ve also been able to use the meeting recaps that pull key moments from the call to follow up quickly with the customer. The activity timeline has seemed to give the team a real focus.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

We receive this from several other platforms at the same time and I believe others do it just a little better. It’s mostly reliable, but when you read back some of the conversations the transcript is a little off. I also haven’t really dived into sentiment analysis yet, and we haven’t used the coaching features.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us take in metrics and identify areas to improve, and the meeting recaps with key moments let me follow up quickly with the customer. The activity timeline has also helped give the team more focus.

  ### 6. Gong - Simple and effective for outbound sales

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nishan T. | Customer Success Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

What I like most about Gong is how simple it makes it to manage and review outbound calls. Being able to schedule calls, place them directly through the platform, and revisit past conversations is genuinely useful. The call recordings and transcripts are especially helpful when I need to recall what was discussed, capture key details, or refine my approach for future calls.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The interface can feel a bit busy at first, and tracking down specific features sometimes takes a few extra clicks.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong helps me keep outbound calling organized by making it easier to schedule, track, and review calls. Having call records and conversations all in one place saves time, keeps everything consistent, and makes follow-ups much easier.

  ### 7. Reliable call recordings and speech-to-text summaries, but AI and integrations can be inconsistent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manojkumar D. | Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I use call recordings as the source of truth for customer requirements. It lets me fully focus on the call because I can always fall back on the recording instead of trying to write everything down myself. When I review recordings, I don’t have to watch the entire video just to find what I need. Speech-to-text and the AI-generated summaries help me quickly understand key discussion points, customer concerns, and follow-up items. Overall it’s been very reliable and gives a summary of the recording very well.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The AI capabilities are strong overall, but the recommendations and insights can feel inconsistent, so I still manually validate certain AI-generated insights before relying on them for more important decisions. Keeping CRM information accurate and up to date can still take extra manual effort, and sometimes what gets captured or synchronized isn’t as complete as I would expect. Integrations can also be more complicated than expected to set up, and when synchronization issues come up, troubleshooting can take a fair amount of effort.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Call recordings give me a reliable source of truth for customer requirements and let me stay focused during calls. Speech-to-text and AI summaries save time by helping me pull out key details without going through an entire call, though I still review the original conversation when context is important.

  ### 8. Nearly real-time call insights and easy sharing, but transcription can lag

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian R. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google using a business email account

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

It provides nearly real-time insights into calls. Having the ability to easily review topics by tag, and share calls with my leadership is invaluable. It’s very reliable and genuinely captures customer sentiments well. The call summary and deals at risk emails have been supremely helpful to stay apprised of all open deals and what risks might have surfaced in calls.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Sometimes the call transcription and analysis occurs up to an hour post call, which at the end of my day, I'd like to ensure they go out before the following day. Also, I wasn’t aware of some features as current features, so I haven’t used them.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s improved deal visibility and has been helpful in my bi-weekly deal review sessions internally. The summaries and deals-at-risk emails help me stay apprised of open deals and risks surfaced in calls, and I often use the coaching perspectives when it’s challenging to have my manager engage as easily and quickly as Gong provides.

  ### 9. Actionable Sales Insights That Help Reps Improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiago M. | Translator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

What I like most about Gong is the way it turns sales conversations into useful, actionable insights. It helps me spot trends, understand what’s working, and pinpoint areas where reps can improve, without having to manually sift through every single call. Overall, it’s a genuinely valuable tool for supporting individual performance as well as helping the broader sales team improve.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The main thing I dislike about Gong is that there can be a lot of information to sift through, which can feel overwhelming at times. Some of the insights also need a bit of context to be genuinely useful, so it isn’t always as straightforward as it first appears.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong helps me solve the challenge of keeping track of sales conversations and understanding what’s really happening across calls and deals. It gives me a clearer view into customer interactions, helps me spot what’s working and what needs improvement, and makes coaching and follow-ups more effective. Overall, it saves me time and helps me make better-informed decisions.

  ### 10. Gong’s AI-Powered Forecasting and Customer Communication That Boosts Predictability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** faye M. | Revenue Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

What I like most about Gong is its forecasting capabilities and AI-powered customer communication tools. The forecasting insights provide better visibility into pipeline health, deal progression, and potential risks, helping teams make more informed decisions and improve revenue predictability. I also find the AI-generated response functionality particularly valuable, as it helps create professional, consistent, and timely customer communications, improving efficiency while maintaining a high standard of engagement.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

While Gong AI email responses can significantly improve efficiency and provide useful drafting support, responses can sometimes lack customer-specific context, commercial nuance, and human empathy. As a result, generated emails still require careful review to ensure contractual accuracy, appropriate tone, and alignment with internal processes and customer commitments.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What I like most about Gong is its forecasting and visibility capabilities. It provides a clear view of quotas, targets, pipeline performance, and territory ownership, making it much easier to understand where we are against objectives and identify areas that need attention. The AI insights also help teams make more data-driven decisions and improve forecast accuracy.

  ### 11. Clean, Easy UI with Smooth Zoom/Gmail/Slack Integrations and Powerful AI Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefano I. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google using a business email account

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

The UI is very clean and easy to navigate. It integrates well with Zoom, Gmail, Slack. Also, for customer success managers, there are a lot of features to use after a call to review and share specific moments, as well as to prepare in advance for a touchpoint. For example, the AI tool can answer questions about an account based on previous conversations.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

sometimes it takes a bit of time to process a recording but nothing too problematic to be honest

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps in all those moments when I’m thinking, “Do I remember correctly?” or “Am I missing anything they said?” It really helps me stay accurate and thorough.

  ### 12. Brilliant AI, Extremely Intuitive Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lilian S. | Sales Executive - Relacionamento e Gestão Estratégica de contas para Transformação Digital, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Source: Seller invite:** Invitation from a seller or affiliate. This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong has completely transformed how we manage our pipeline. The real game-changer for us isn’t just call recording; it’s the applied AI that helps remove subjective bias from our CRM notes. The sentiment analysis and automated insights make it easier to spot deal risks that would have previously gone unnoticed. What’s especially impressive is how the platform stays so robust while still feeling extremely intuitive to use. At this point, we’re no longer making decisions based on opinions—we’re basing them on the reality of our customer interactions.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The platform still struggles with non-English languages. For Portuguese and Spanish speakers, transcriptions often miss industry-specific technical terms and don’t capture enough context. As a result, the sentiment analysis can be inaccurate, which significantly reduces the value of the insights for international teams.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While the platform is top-tier overall, I’d love to see more polished AI accuracy with non-English technical terms, which would make it feel truly perfect for global teams.

  ### 13. Intuitive, No-Frills Platform with Exactly What I Need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cynthia B. | Staff Trainer for Client Care - Events, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Ease of use, the whole platform is pretty intuitive and I have just the information I need, no fancy unnecessary tools. I don't pay for it myself as this is company implemented. I do feel is worth it though, my work cadence would be heavily affected without the use of Gong.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Finding recordings is a bit cumbersome. You have to first check the long list of interactions. Having a dedicated recording bank would be much easier.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Context for a full meeting, transcript, cadence, analytics on the conversation and the AI summary make my life easier when I have to do detailed reporting

  ### 14. Actionable Conversation Insights That Keep Teams Aligned.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connor H. | SDR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google One Tap using a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

What I like best about Gong is how it gives clear visibility into customer conversations and turns them into actionable insights. It helps teams improve coaching, identify deal risks early, and understand what top performers are doing differently. The automatic call summaries and analytics also save a huge amount of time while keeping everyone aligned across sales, marketing, and customer success.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

One downside of Gong is that the amount of data and notifications can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for larger teams. Some insights can also require a lot of filtering to get to the most relevant information, and pricing may be difficult for smaller businesses to justify. Additionally, call transcription accuracy can occasionally struggle with accents, overlapping conversations, or industry-specific terminology.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong solves the problem of “blind spots” in customer-facing conversations — where important signals from sales calls, demos, and meetings would otherwise be lost or inconsistently captured.

It records, transcribes, and analyses customer interactions, then turns them into structured insights. That helps in a few practical ways:

It improves deal visibility, so it’s easier to spot risks, next steps, and buying signals early rather than relying on subjective rep updates. It also helps with coaching and performance management by showing what top performers actually say and do in real conversations, making onboarding and training much more data-driven.

For me, the main benefit is time and clarity. Instead of manually reviewing notes or relying on memory, I can quickly understand what’s happening across deals and teams, identify patterns, and focus attention where it matters most.

  ### 15. Super Helpful AI Transcripts and Summaries for Easy Client Sharing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jai M. | Account Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

The AI transcript feature is super helpful. It also provides a summary, which makes it easier to share with clients.

The call outline feature is also very useful, especially when I need a clear, well-organized summary of the conversation.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Sometimes the AI transcripts aren’t accurate enough, and they don’t always interpret the conversation in the appropriate way.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong helps solve the problem of limited visibility into customer conversations and sales execution. Traditionally, important client insights, objections, competitive feedback, and deal risks stayed siloed with individual reps or scattered across notes and emails. Gong centralizes and analyzes these interactions using AI, which makes it easier to spot patterns, improve forecasting accuracy, and ensure teams are following best practices.

For me, the biggest benefit has been clearer visibility into customer sentiment and overall deal health without needing to be present in every conversation. It helps surface risks earlier, understand what messaging resonates with clients, and improve collaboration across sales, customer success, and leadership teams. It also supports faster onboarding and more effective coaching by using real customer conversations as learning material.

  ### 16. Reliable Call Transcripts That Make Follow-Ups Faster and More Consistent

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca E.

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I use the call transcript feature after every call to generate a thorough recap email. It saves me at least 15 minutes for every call and has made my email follow-ups more consistent and efficient.

Gong is reliable and while I used to run into issues with calls not recording, that hasn't happened in over a year.

Navigating the product is easy and I like the way it looks.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Gong's AI features are overall lacking - specifically their email generation tool. While I love that I can copy the transcript, I have to paste the transcript into chat gpt to get a good follow up email. Their tools lacks detail; the emails are short and don't capture what I need them to.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's mostly saving me time with email follow-ups. Additionally, I don't have to take notes during calls anymore so I can be more present with customers and ask better questions. It's made me a better CSM and allows me to focus on having more strategic, revenue-driving conversations with customers.

  ### 17. Easy-to-Use Call Insights with Great Transcripts and Team Comparisons

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like that Gong stores all the information from my calls, as well as my colleagues’ calls. It’s really helpful to cross-check how I’m doing by comparing my calls with other team members’ calls. It’s also super easy to use, and the transcript recap is really good.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The main thing I dislike about Gong is the search bar in the top-right corner for finding calls. It has a weird laggy load time, and I sometimes struggle to find specific people because it randomly switches and I end up clicking the wrong thing.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong solves the problem of tracking my calls and my colleagues’ calls. Before, it was difficult to maintain a solid database of conversations and keep a clear view of how things were progressing with clients. Now that we use Gong, everything is in one place and much easier to find and review. It also helps me improve through training and by getting inspiration from how my colleagues handle their calls.

  ### 18. Easy Call Review and Sharing for Better Coaching and Follow-Ups

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like being able to go back and listen to my calls. I also like sending my manager calls from GONG so she can give me feedback. Another upside is that it helps me see tasks I haven’t touched in a while, which makes it easier to stay on top of follow-ups.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I haven’t found any dislikes yet. That said, sometimes it doesn’t capture all of the BANT information from a call even when it’s provided, but it does let me add it manually.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GONG helps me a lot when I have overdue tasks. It shows me what I need to do and, in some cases, what I need to say as well. It’s also made it easier for me to share a call with my manager for feedback, which is my favorite part.

**What do you like best about Gong?**

The most helpful thing about Gong is that one does not need to listen/watch a recorded video, and instead can just read the transcript to get the information quickly. It makes it so that note-taking is no longer needed, if I forget what was said, I can quickly access the meeting notes to understand what was missed. The amount of time saved is priceless.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

There are times when Gong transcribes what is being said incorrectly to the point that the recording needs to be viewed. In general it does feel like invasion of privacy to have every spoken word transcribed and recorded.. I feel like interactions are less genuine when using Gong.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong makes it so that if clarification on what the customer wants is needed, I no longer need to go back to the customer for the information. It is usually contained within the Gong recording.

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

What’s most helpful about Gong is the visibility it brings to customer conversations. Having calls automatically recorded, transcribed, and analyzed makes it much easier to capture key insights, track follow-ups, and never miss important details. It’s especially valuable for reflecting on conversations, improving messaging, and sharing context across the team without relying on manual notes.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

One downside of Gong is that it can feel a bit overwhelming at times. With so many insights, metrics, and notifications, it’s not always clear what to focus on first. The signal is there, but you have to work a bit to separate it from the noise.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong solves the challenge of capturing and making sense of customer conversations at scale. Instead of relying on memory or manual notes, it automatically records, transcribes, and surfaces key insights from calls.

For me, that means I can stay fully present during conversations, then go back to review important moments, track commitments, and follow up more effectively. It also makes it easier to share context with teammates, align internally, and continuously improve how I communicate with customers. Overall, it helps me be more organized, data-driven, and consistent in how I manage relationships.

  ### 21. Actionable Call Insights Delivered to My Inbox

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

As a Director, it’s very helpful to receive insights from calls across my team directly in my inbox. It gives me a leg up because I can ask the right questions sooner, rather than waiting to be informed later. It also helps at the end of the week, when I need to quickly find key details and distill them into my weekly report.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

There are a lot of notifications, and the built-in search features don’t seem very good. I can’t just search for a customer directly; I have to go through a few steps to get there. Also, I don’t find the AI to be very powerful.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for Sales and Customer Success, and I think different people rely on it for different reasons. Across the board, we use it for accuracy so we don’t have to rely on memory about what was said or try to repeat it later; we can go back, find it, and be sure.

Sales uses it to spot patterns in what clients are asking for. Customer Success uses it in a similar way, but also as our “brain,” so we don’t have to remember every client exchange.

  ### 22. Intuitive Call Insights and SFDC Integration That Boost Lead Gen Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohith N. | SMB Sales Development Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

What I like most about Gong is the visibility it provides into call outcomes and customer interactions handled by our experts. The platform is intuitive and easy to navigate, with strong search and call insights that help identify winning messaging and common objections. Its integration with SFDC makes it easy to connect insights directly to inbound and outbound leads. As someone focused on lead generation and email outreach, this helps me refine my targeting, personalize outreach, and qualify leads more effectively. Overall, it has improved my productivity and helped generate higher-quality meeting opportunities, delivering strong value in my day-to-day workflow.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

One area for improvment would be making insights more directly actionable for SDR workflows, especially for email outreach and lead generation. At times, it takes extra effort to translate call insights into immediate next steps. Additionally, enhancing filters or customization in search could make it even easier to quickly find the most relevant conversations.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong helps solve the challenge of limited visibility into customer conversations and what messaging actually works. Since calls are handled by our experts, it gives me clear insights into customer needs, objections, and successful approaches. This helps me improve my inbound and outbound lead geneartion, refine email outreach, and qualify leads more effectively. As a result, I'm able to generate better-quality opportunities and align my outreach more closely with what drives successful meetings.

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Gong?**

The addition of AI in the Gong platform has been so helpful. It's easy to ask questions about the overall experience of a customer and ensure that necessary topics are being covered. I also love that it can provide exact times when certain topics were covered.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I'd love a better way to extract the data from Gong using the API. Currently if you want information about email history via the API you have to request it one email address at a time. It would be helpful to be able to pull at least some information at a summary level for all emails tied to an account or for all emails in general.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because I use it on all my client calls, I forget what I'm supposed to do between calls less often. This allows me to do everything I said I'd do, and even sometimes more, because I spend less time trying to remember what I said on a call and more time actually working on the things I promised.

  ### 24. Mostly reliable conversation capture, but only somewhat better deal visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin S. | Principal Sales Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like that it captures and analyzes customer interactions automatically and gives me a mostly reliable record of conversations. Overall it’s fairly easy to use and set up, and the notes management and AI text summarization are solid.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The AI isn’t always consistent, and when it makes a mistake it’s not that easy for me to catch and correct. I’m only moderately confident about how my data is handled and what controls I have over what the AI can access, and the explanations for why the AI produced a result could be clearer. It’s also not always totally clear when I’m interacting with AI vs. something rules-based.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me a mostly reliable record of conversations and somewhat improves deal visibility.

  ### 25. Great call recording and easy scorecards, but I need help using more features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andres G. | Sales manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google using a business email account

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I think Gong is great. It shows up automatically on calls, the recording quality is solid, and it’s easy to set up scorecards to review with my team. Getting the transcripts very well. It’s also very clear to use for sharing snippets and showing where we can improve.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

From what I’ve used so far, I’m happy with it, but I’d really like to understand more about the other features and how to use them. I am not using this as I am not sure how to use it.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me a mostly reliable record of conversations with transcripts, and it makes it easy to share snippets and review scorecards with my team to see where we can improve.

  ### 26. Easy-to-Navigate UI, Seamless Salesforce Integration, and Fast Support

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

The UI is very easy to navigate, and it integrates really well with Salesforce and other platforms. Support is always quick, and they’re great at providing the training you need to use the platform effectively. They’ve also introduced lots of new AI features recently, which are great.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

We’ve had a few periods of downtime in the past, which isn’t ideal since we run our entire work platform through it. That said, the issues are usually resolved very quickly.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong saves us a lot of time by reducing the need to switch back and forth between different systems. We can make calls, update our CRM, and see where everything stands—all in one platform.

  ### 27. Gong Brings Real Customer Voice Into Marketing and Automates Follow-Ups

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

As the head of marketing, I’ve consistently struggled to get customer feedback from our sales team in the customers’ own words. Gong lets me be a fly on the wall in real customer conversations, so I can reflect that same language in our marketing collateral. It also helps automate our lead gen email drips and follow-ups, which makes it easier to create more impactful, personalized content for our sales reps, customers, and prospects.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

It’s not that I dislike it, exactly, but there’s so much functionality that I feel like I need more training to use it well. I can tell everything I need is there; I just need more time in the day to learn it and get comfortable with all the features.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like being able to hear customer pain points in their own words. It’s also helpful to track sales rep actions and see how engagement flows are being used. The easy integration with Salesforce makes campaign management and follow-up much simpler.

  ### 28. Reliable interaction tracking and coaching insights, with some language capture gaps

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like that it tracks customer interactions, keywords, and talk ratios to evaluate deal health and provide coaching feedback for sales teams. It also provides key performance indexes which I can use to determine performance. When I used Gong I never missed a meeting.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

It was mostly reliable, but certain phrases and parts of conversations weren't in English, so I figured it would be a bit of a problem.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gave me a reliable record of conversations most of the time, and the conversation insights were sometimes used for exercises or training programs so we can learn and improve for our customers. It also helped me stay on top of meetings so I never missed one.

  ### 29. AI-Driven Sales Insights That Boost Team Performance and Deal Outcomes

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Gong?**

What I like best about Gong is how it automatically captures and analyzes all sales conversations, giving us deep insights into customer interactions without manual effort. The platform’s analytics and AI‑driven insights help our teams improve messaging, identify risk or opportunity signals, and tailor coaching. Gong integrates smoothly with our CRM and other sales tools, and using it frequently has noticeably boosted team performance and deal outcomes.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

While Gong delivers powerful insights, some aspects of the user experience could be improved. The interface can feel overwhelming at first, especially for new users, because of the volume of data and features. Implementation and setup took some initial effort, and filtering or finding specific calls can sometimes be unintuitive. Overall it’s valuable, but smoother navigation and simpler onboarding would make it even better.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong solves the problem of relying on subjective or incomplete feedback from sales calls by automatically capturing, transcribing, and analyzing all conversations. Before Gong, coaching and deal visibility were limited by what reps reported or managers observed directly, which caused inconsistencies. With Gong, we get objective, searchable insights into every sales interaction, enabling better coaching, faster ramp‑up for new reps, improved messaging consistency, and earlier identification of deal risks or opportunities. This has strengthened our sales performance and forecasting accuracy.

  ### 30. Visual pipeline management and AI deal insights that save me from re-listening to calls

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

This reviewer's identity has been verified by our review moderation team. They have asked not to show their
name, job title, or picture.

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I love the live pipeline management because it lets me see my pipeline visually and update the Gong fields right there. I prefer tracking everything here compared to other tools, since the visual layout is so much better and easier to work with. I also use the AI assistant to answer questions I have about my deals while I’m gathering deal info; otherwise, I’d have to go back and re-listen to calls without it. The visual tracker is really helpful because I can quickly see all the dots at a glance.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

When the AI makes a mistake, it’s not always easy to catch and correct, and it doesn’t always explain why it produced a specific result. It’s also not always clear when I’m interacting with AI vs. rules-based logic or a human.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the middle of many deal-related conversations, the AI picked up on a detail I would have otherwise needed to listen through multiple calls to catch, and that insight changed the type of contract I sent to the customer. It also improved deal visibility somewhat by alerting me that a deal was at risk because too much time had passed between customer calls. My manager sometimes acts on the insights by commenting on how many touchpoints I have in my deals and whether I’m due for another one.

  ### 31. Great call analysis with real-time data and speech-to-text, but AI features fell short

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Narayana v. | Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

When we use thorough analysis it gives great and perfect results for use. It provides real-time data, and it can give speech-to-text output also for our convenience. Mostly it gave a reliable record of conversations, it performed well and deserves to work with it.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Sometimes it fails in the concept of working on large and unknown languages. Deal visibility improvement was only a little, not much more.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me to make resumes, prepare documents, and prepare some worksheets. If I have any formulas not known, it helps a lot in Excel sheets. Also, having real-time data and speech-to-text output was convenient.

  ### 32. Mostly reliable call capture with AI that synthesizes recordings

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catherine J. | Digital Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Calls and Voice and the CRM integration are the core function of this product for me. The AI helps synthesize the call recordings, and overall the conversation record is mostly reliable.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Some features feel like other tools just do it better. I also didn’t even know some things were a feature in Gong. On the AI side, I’m not very confident about data being handled responsibly, the controls over what data the AI can access aren’t clear, and when the AI makes a mistake it’s not that easy to catch and correct.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me by synthesizing call recordings and giving me a mostly reliable record of conversations. Deal visibility is somewhat improved.

  ### 33. Easy-to-Navigate UI with Great Call Summaries and Transcriptions

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong does a great job providing call summaries, action items, and transcriptions. The UI is easy to navigate and there are a number of different search filters

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Gong can take a while to process recordings so they can be reviewed. I also know some AI call recording softwares offer real-time tracking and insights, which Gong did not when I last used it

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong makes it easy to get quick overviews and context of past meetings, which is great when you oversee a lot of accounts or take a lot of meetings. It allowed me to quickly review my last call and understand sentiment, subject matter, and ensure I didn’t miss any action items as follow-up

  ### 34. Excellent Visibility into Customer Conversations

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong provides excellent visibility into customer conversations and helps teams understand what’s really happening across calls. Gong offers good value for the price, especially for its conversation intelligence, call insights, and ability to help teams identify trends

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

With the amount of data and functionality available, it can sometimes feel overwhelming to locate exactly what I need.

**Recommendations to others considering Gong:**

To make the most of Gong, consider setting up custom dashboards to streamline data access and focus on key metrics.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong helps us capture and analyze call conversations at scale, so we’re not relying solely on individual notes or scattered feedback.

  ### 35. Very reliable conversation records with simple AI features

I like that it gives a very reliable record of conversations. The AI hasn’t failed me yet and it has simple features. Managers or reps frequently act on the conversation insights, and deal visibility improved somewhat.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

It isn’t always clear when I’m interacting with AI vs. rules-based logic or a human.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I get a very reliable record of conversations, somewhat better deal visibility, and conversation insights that managers or reps frequently act on.

  ### 36. Great for automated call notes and tracking deal context

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

The automatic call recording and AI meeting summaries save me a ton of time on post call admin work. I also like being able to search call transcripts for specific keywords or competitor mentions, which makes prepping for follow ups and pipeline reviews much faster and more straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The transcription can occasionally misinterpret technical product terms or acronyms. Also, the notification volume can get a bit noisy unless you take the time to fine-tune your email alert settings.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It removes the need for manual note-taking during customer discovery, so reps can stay focused on the conversation. It also gives cross-functional teams direct access to customer feedback, without needing to sit in on every single call.

  ### 37. Reliable call capture and conversation sync, but other areas feel stronger elsewhere

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chintan D. | Sales Operations Specialist, Revenue Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google using a business email account

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I think it captures and syncs the calls and conversations very well. Calls and Voice have been solid, and I’ve found the dashboard analytics and sales coaching/insights capabilities easy enough to work with (even though we haven’t really used the coaching features).

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

There are other better products in the market for these areas. We also don’t use a lot of the other features in our company (like calendar-related items and some management/automation areas), and we may not have explored those areas. CRM integration and business process automation haven’t met what I’d want.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gave me a very reliable record of conversations because it captures and syncs calls and conversations very well.

  ### 38. Very reliable conversation capture with significantly improved deal visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yash J. | Manager Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I love that it captures and analyzes customer interactions automatically and gives a very reliable record of conversations. The deal intelligence improved deal visibility significantly, and the conversation insights were acted on frequently for coaching. I also use integrations and CRM data enrichment.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Predictive forecasting, revenue operations cadence, and nonengaged accounts didn’t work well for me. The AI outputs and performance felt only mid-level in accuracy and consistency, and it wasn’t always easy to catch and correct mistakes or understand why it produced a specific result.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I got a very reliable record of conversations, significantly better deal visibility, and coaching insights that managers or reps acted on frequently.

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong has been incredibly helpful for me as a people leader to help provide feedback to my team members on their performance, and has been a powerful tool in training aand onboarding new team members. Gong has great intergations that allow us to easily pull information into other tools we use, and aI love the AI intelligence features that keep rolling out!

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

There can sometimes be data inconsistencies, though I think that this may be more to do with the way we rolled things out than the platform itself

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to onboard new team members faster than ever, I'm able to train and uplevel the reps that I have based on actionable timebound feedback, and I'm able to gather intelligent insights on all active deals

I use Gong for my work calls and appreciate getting feedback from my manager on how my calls can improve. It's valuable in solving my need for notetaking and remembering details from a call to help me with next steps. I love that it's quick and efficient in recapping my meetings and is helpful for my own note-taking. I also like getting feedback on my calls and receiving helpful suggestions on how I can improve, as well as assistance in my note-taking for next steps with a group.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The viewing screen on the Gong website needs to be improved. I am often unable to see emails and other communication because the screen gets very cramped with the header information on the page. I need better viewing flexibility on the Gong pages.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong for work calls and feedback, solving my need for notetaking and remembering call details, aiding next steps.

**What do you like best about Gong?**

What I like best about Gong is the visibility it provides into sales conversations. It makes it easy to review calls, identify key insights, and understand what’s working across the team. The AI-driven insights and call recordings are especially valuable for coaching and improving performance.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

One downside is that the platform can feel a bit overwhelming at first due to the amount of data and features available. It can take some time to fully understand how to use everything effectively. Streamlining the user experience would make it easier to navigate.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong solves the lack of visibility into sales conversations by capturing and analyzing calls. This helps our team identify trends, improve messaging, and coach more effectively, ultimately leading to better sales performance.

  ### 42. Organized Call Insights with Effortless Follow-Ups

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like how Gong makes it easy to review customer conversations after a call with its call recording, transcript, and searchable notes, so I don't have to rely only on memory or manual notes. It's fantastic that I can quickly go back to specific parts of the conversation, confirm customer requirements, and identify clear follow-up actions. I also value that Gong helps the whole team stay aligned, enabling teammates to review the same call and understand customer context without attending every meeting. Gong helps save time, reduce miscommunication, and improve the quality of customer follow-ups. With features that help me record and review customer calls, capture meeting notes, track follow-up items, and share important conversation insights with my team, it keeps me organized and better informed about customer needs. Gong also records and transcribes conversations, captures key points, and makes following up accurately much easier. Teammates get visibility into customer discussions and action items through Gong, streamlining our workflow alongside meeting, CRM, and internal communication tools. The platform feels more suitable for organizing and sharing insights on customer conversations compared to just using default meeting summaries from other tools like Google Meet and Zoom.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The only minor improvement I can think of is making some areas of the interface a little easier to navigate for new users, especially when searching through past calls or finding specific insights.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong to record and review customer calls, capture meeting notes, and share insights. It helps me avoid missing details, stay organized, and understand customer needs. It improves my team's alignment by making customer discussions visible and provides reliable, searchable call insights.

  ### 43. Saves me a ton of time on notes and follow-ups, but the AI can get confused

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Gong?**

It saves me an incredible amount of time making notes following a call and sending follow up emails. The video record, automatic transcription, and AI text summarization are really helpful. It’s mostly reliable at capturing the conversation and themes, and it manages to pull out the key parts.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Sometimes it can misinterpret words. Today it didn’t work so well when I asked a question about a call and the conversational AI got confused with what I was asking about. Overall I’m only mid-level on trust/accuracy/consistency and things like controls and explaining why it produced a result.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I save an incredible amount of time on post-call notes and follow up emails. It also helps when I ask questions after a call like what the client said about X, or what I said I would follow up with.

**What do you like best about Gong?**

It just complements our CRM well and provides value in more ways than one.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The integration to create users in Gong is automatic but the license assignment isn't so I still have to do that manually. I also run into issues where we're missing calls and I feel like I have to do a lot of digging around to find it. Good thing they have a very responsive support team.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're getting really good insight into calls with prospects and clients without having to actually attend. The innovation around transcripts/summary, AI tools within it, have given us a lot of ways to automate and make use of the data/insights we're collecting.

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Gong?**

If I miss any points after the call, I use the transcript to refer back to them and to help draft the MoM.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Auto generated MoM we can receive in email

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Yes to improve conversation with stakeholders and improve communication skills, we can anytime go through the transcript to know the quality of conversation which is helping to improve

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

From my perspective as a sales rep, Gong is incredibly helpful because it allows me to analyze my meetings in a way that I simply couldn’t do before. Every call is recorded and transcribed, which means I can go back and watch recordings to review what was discussed, catch details I may have missed, and better understand how the conversation went. It also helps me see how I handled objections, how much I talked versus the customer, and where I could improve for future calls. Being able to revisit these meetings not only helps me stay organized with follow-ups, but also makes it easier to continuously improve my sales approach and learn from both my own calls and those of top-performing reps.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I do feel like the UI could be more intuitive; looking back at historic activities and recordings doesn't work half the time

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong helps solve the challenge of missing or incomplete notes because it automatically records and transcribes my sales meetings, so I don’t have to rely solely on what I managed to write down during the call. As a rep, it’s easy to miss small but important details while trying to guide the conversation, take notes, and respond to the prospect in real time. With Gong, I can go back and review the full recording and transcript to make sure nothing slipped through the cracks. It also helps surface objections or concerns that might have been subtle or easy to overlook during the live conversation, allowing me to better understand the customer’s perspective and address those points more effectively in follow-ups.

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong automatically records and analyzes customer conversations, making it easy to revisit important moments from calls without relying on notes.

Searchable transcripts and topic tracking make it simple to find when specific competitors, pricing discussions, or objections came up.

It helps improve sales execution by allowing teams to review real customer interactions instead of relying on secondhand summaries.

The platform also makes it easy to share key call snippets internally so teams can collaborate around deals or learn from strong conversations.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The interface can surface a lot of data and alerts, which sometimes creates noise if teams are not disciplined about how they use it.

Some of the AI insights are helpful but still require human interpretation, especially in complex enterprise sales cycles.

It works best when teams actively review and use the recordings. If adoption is low, much of the value is lost.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eliminates the need to rely on memory or incomplete notes from customer calls.

Creates a searchable record of customer conversations that can be referenced later for details around requirements, objections, or commitments.

Helps sales teams review real conversations to improve messaging and positioning.

Allows leadership to understand what is happening in deals without sitting on every call.

  ### 48. Clear Sales Call Visibility with Powerful AI Summaries and Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

What I like most about Gong is how it gives clear visibility into sales calls and customer conversations. The call recordings, AI-generated summaries, and conversation insights help our team understand client needs better and improve follow-ups. It’s especially useful for reviewing calls, tracking deal progress, and coaching team members without having to take manual notes during meetings.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

One thing I dislike about Gong is that the platform can feel a bit overwhelming at first because of the number of insights and analytics available. Some AI-generated highlights also need manual review for accuracy. In a few cases, loading large call recordings or searching older conversations takes more time than expected.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Gong, it was difficult to keep track of important points from sales calls and understand why some deals were slowing down. Gong helps by recording conversations, generating summaries, and highlighting customer concerns automatically. It has improved our follow-up process, made coaching easier for managers, and helped the sales team make better decisions based on real customer interactions instead of guesswork.

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I love the fact that Gong can integrate easily with Zoom and calls are recorded. Going through the transcripts really helps me when trying to remember an account. I love the fact that I'm able to see when emails are opened and account activity.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

If I'm being honest, the thing that I dislike the most about Gong is the fact that the new update has been a huge learning curve for me. I loved the old version of Gong, and I really appreciated the features because it really helped my workflow. Now, I find myself struggling a little bit because bounced emails are now factored into my emailing process and it kind of makes things a little jagged.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong honestly takes out the guesswork in remembering the different calls that were had within the account. I feel like it keeps everything super organized as far as account information. I can type in an account's name and everything from the past will come up, and that's extremely helpful for me to be able to re-trigger some of the conversations.

  ### 50. Centralizes Workflows with Effective Call Analysis

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I love how Gong allows me to prepare for follow-on meetings with its mobile app. It helps me get a recap and potential questions to ask during conversations with prospects. The call recording feature is also great, as it helps me review conversations, base my follow-ups on those, and improve with the ratings it provides for each call. This way, I can scale what works and spot what doesn't. I also appreciate that Gong centralizes work for me in one single platform.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I wish Gong was embedding in Outlook mail, so I can use the templates from Gong directly from Outlook. So I don't have to go back and forth for the emails since I prefer the Outlook interface better than Gong.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong to centralize work on a single platform, review call recordings, improve with call ratings, and prepare for follow-up meetings effectively.
