The experience with Gong has been disappointing because their sales team promised functionality, specifically a voicemail drop feature, that wasn't included in the package. As an account executive, this feature is really important for driving callbacks and opportunities. It's frustrating that they didn't include it despite promising it, which really erodes trust. There's also some slight bugginess with the calling feature, and I find SalesLoft and Outreach to be superior in this respect. Their team has been slow in resolving this issue, and it's been two weeks without a solution, which is a major red flag.
