## GoldMine Reviews
  ### 1. Seamless Integration, Competitive Pricing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shalini K. | Director of Customer Success -Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

I found the integration with GoldMine to be very easy and seamless, which helped me keep everything up to date. This made managing my schedule and ensuring we weren't falling behind much easier. I appreciated that GoldMine is intuitive, easy to navigate, and competitive compared to other industry leaders. The report-generating features are robust, providing structured data, and specific information. It integrates well with other tools like email and ZoomInfo. I'm thrilled with my experience using GoldMine as it simplifies my work life significantly. The competitive price and uncomplicated licensing are a huge plus, making it easy to implement and subscribe. The setup stood out too; it was seamless, and our IT team didn't experience any disruptions during the change. GoldMine did its thing in the background without issues.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

I think it needs to up its game with AI. The way AI is being leveraged a lot within other CRMs that are more costly, GoldMine needs to catch up a bit more. Leveraging current technology like AI would be great.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find GoldMine streamlines disjointed workflows and manual data entry by centralizing everything in one place, making it easy for me and other departments.

  ### 2. Tailored for B2B, Despite Navigation Hurdles

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kassebaum G.

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

I like that GoldMine is a B2B sales-first CRM that doesn't force us to adapt our complex enterprise sales workflows to a generic tool. It's built exclusively for B2B sales and account management with deep customization, a pipeline-centric design, and automation that eliminates admin work. Every core feature addresses the unique pain points of B2B selling like inaccurate forecasting, missed follow-ups, and siloed client data. The initial setup was also functional and straightforward, which was a nice experience.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

Dense, non-intuitive navigation: The desktop UI has a steep learning curve for new reps—data is displayed in dense spreadsheets/forms, and common tasks (e.g., updating a deal stage, creating a follow-up task) require 3–4 clicks instead of one. This adds small but cumulative time waste for our team (we estimate ~30 mins/day per rep on clunky navigation).

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoldMine centralizes customer data and streamlines sales workflows, solving inaccurate revenue forecasting and pipeline visibility issues by providing a data-driven management system. It tracks deal progress and automates tasks for personalized client engagement.

  ### 11. An Incredibly Straightforward and User-Friendly CRM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin O. | R, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Goldmine is an incredibly snappy and easily understood piece of software. It provides essential information for a prospect's contact details, such as name, email, phone number, etc. It allows users, such as a recruiter like myself, to very easily create leads based on a prospect's information, schedule calls for them at any point in time, take notes based on our interactions, and easily save and organize that data for future use. Goldmine is extremely functional, which makes sense given its age and number of updates. Its autosave function is extremely useful, especially when comparing it to other CRMs such as SugarSell, which are far newer and yet lack this basic, quality of life feature. Goldmine is hardly flashy, but its user interface is extremely simple to understand, quick to load and function, and more than functional for categorizing data on prospects. This is extremely vital for anyone working in sales, or recruiting like me.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

Goldmine is not web-based, so it can go down and be completely inaccessible even if your internet connection is completely stable. Additionally, while the software itself is snappy, the initial loading process when opening it can take around a minute or so. However, the pros far outweigh the cons with Goldmine.

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

Make sure to read the software's instructional information to learn how best to utilize Goldmine's efficient functions.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Goldmine is a lifeline for recruiting. It provides essential information for a prospect's contact details, such as name, email, phone number, etc. It allows users, such as a recruiter like myself, to very easily create leads based on a prospect's information, schedule calls for them at any point in time, take notes based on our interactions, and easily save and organize that data for future use.

  ### 12. Seamless User Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2022

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Managing contacts and email history/correspondence with different customers.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

The user interface could be more modern. Feels a little outdated.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps organize and manage business contacts for our ever growing customer base and product lines.

  ### 13. Exceptionally great program for smaller companies

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph R. | Director of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2022

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

What I like best about Goldmine is that I was able to maintain customer records in one central place. I was able to pull up orders with ease and send invoices quickly.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

The least helpful thing about Goldmine is that you are unable to set it up on your own without someone who has used it before or is familiar with the technology.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I first used Goldmine with our company it solved a lot of problems we were doing manually. This program sped up the process.

  ### 14. Golmine is stuck in 2005

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2022

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Could have been a great CRM, but there is a lack of updates, so it cannot compete with the new CRMs. The e-mail history and filter creation tools are great, but not intuitive, so it's a learning curve.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

It is not intuitive or user-friendly. No software updates EVER. Poor workflow and no collaboration features, or pipeline features that would make workflow more efficient.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps contact records, communication records, reminders, calendar reminders. It receives data funneled from outlook and sorts it into the client records via email.

  ### 15. Goldmine is a great tool to organize your prospects and meet your sales goals!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul Z. | National Sales Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2021

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

I like how I can set reminders to follow up with my prospects in the headset business. I also like that I can keep company details and notes to follow up with the right information quickly. I USE THIS TOLL DAILY, AND IT HELPS ME TO KEEP ORGANIZED!

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

I have no complaints about the service it's great. I do wish it was harder for my co-workers to switch the leads to them. I think they should note when someone changes the lead, so everyone can see it was changed to new rep.

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

I think this is a great tool to keep track of your customers and prospects. I use Goldmine daily and love all the different things I can accomplish while using it.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can set up my follow-up calls easily with Goldmine. I also like that I can keep customer notes, so I know right where we left off last time. I would definitely recommend this to all salespeople to increase their daily sales totals.

  ### 16. Good Product

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2021

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

It was an easy-to-use customer relationship management tool. I kept the contact information in place initially and saw a feature to add comments after the completion of lead follow-up.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

I used it for a short while as the company outsourced the CRM installation, and I received training to use it.

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

It is a good product for keeping the sales/new business contact data in one place. I used it in 2008; installation by Goldmine support was prompt, I hardly made any support calls.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The management of leads and the status of the last discussion could be easily retrieved by the team while using Goldmine.

  ### 17. Goldmine

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2022

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Ease of learning system and simple interface for easy data recall

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

It can be a little rigid and didn't come with many bells and whistles in our version

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

It may need a few more bells and whistles like a netsuite or salesforce but it is a solid entry level CRM

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again, because of rigidity, it may not have enough flexibility in entering data...it was an easy interface and easy to search data

  ### 18. GoldMine very user friendly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John B. | T, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

It is straightforward to learn, making it very easy to teach new team members

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

I wish it were web-based so I could access it anywhere and could network with other software like FIXX CMMS

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to organize my prospects and meet goals for our maintenance team. we trialed this but chose FIIX CMMS software as is was more of an all in one for us.

  ### 19. Sales Manager

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Machinery | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2021

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Having contact information and all correspondence stored in one location.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

When e-mails from Outlook sync into Goldmine, attachments are given different numbers and social media icons to not come thru. Does not look good when needing to forward e-mails directly from Goldmine. There needs to be a better calendar sync with Outlook.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contact organization

  ### 20. Goldmine to digitalize customer database

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2021

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Goldmine is the perfect platform to implement the digitalization of the customer database for the first time.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

The filters and the data required are in some cases to specific and requires some
time to be fulfilled,

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By using the tool we could easily digitalize the global database for the first time and organize our client information easily.

  ### 21. was a little out dated to zoho and copper

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sporting Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

how much info per customer you could have for the person

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

the lack of integration with other apps and the costs to have the product

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

great if you want to spend the costs

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not use it any longer due to the costs it was to run compared to others.

  ### 22. #1 Worldwide for a Reason

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob R. | Owner, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2013

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

I became the #1 GoldMine Solutions Partner worldwide because of how we use GoldMine, not just sell it. I can do more in "one click" than most people can imagine. Sure, GoldMine isn't as slick and modern looking, or a "cloud" application, but neither of those aspects prevent you from achieving amazing results. There are applications costing twice as much that are not as feature-rich.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

There is so much more that is possible with GoldMine, but we need the manufacturer to accelerate development. Fortunately, I believe things are happening.

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

Don't try to guess - get an expert to help you achieve better results in less time. Leverage related technology to fill gaps.

  ### 23. Good CRM but a lot need to be improved.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajkumar P. | Commercial Head, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2021

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

It's a quite robust CRM and provides a better control to the enterprise.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

I think the interface is not as good as Salesforce

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

If your aim is just sales and customer service Goldmine is good.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales and customer service management. It lacks the versatility like the similar ones in the market.

  ### 24. Simple yet Powerful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2021

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

I like how they don't complicate things.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

I don't like how slow it can be at times.

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

An excellent choice for CRM. It's cheaper and more effective than salesforce.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lead organization and outreach is the main thing I'm accomplishing. Goldmine makes my gameplan simple and effective on every level.

  ### 25. Recommended

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2021

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Goldmine experiences and I like for Goldmine's features. No need to customized the app, especially for CRM.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

AFAIK, Goldmine dont have representative office in Indonesia

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

Hopefully Goldmine provide extension for e-commerce and landing page

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can tracking our customer easier and safe a time.

  ### 26. User friendly experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2021

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

The database architecture I liked the most

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

The bugs which are there in the older version are still not resolved

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This applications is used by our clients who are financial advisors to store their clients data

  ### 27. An all-rounder that works for CRM, mailing and a good database

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simone B. | Trainee Product Development , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

It can be used by unlimited users and helps to collect all e-mails, notes, documents etc. in one program so that no e-mail conversation is gone just by an employee leaving the company or similar.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

The search results could be improved; right now you have to select what you search for - I'd prefer if you enter a word, code, address etc. and it would automatically search through all records. Also, I heard (fortunately have not experienced) that mass e-mails can easily be sent out just by creating a template. This is very dangerous if you do not have a good training for your employees. Records are also very easy to delete and cannot be recovered as far as I know. But once you got a good training, GM is easy and mainly safe to use.

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

It looks very complex and difficult at the beginning but once you start working with it, you'll enjoy the benefits. But careful!! Give your employees a good on-boarding since it is easy to send mass e-mails or to delete information that cannot be recovered.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

collecting all data (mainly e-mails and contact information) in one database. Since we have quite a big employee turnover, it helps to minimize the knowledge that leaves when an employee leaves the company

  ### 28. So Perfect

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

I can see what holds I have if it’s due to a payment not going through or as a student if it’s an advising hold I can also see what payment options I have and also 8 am able to retrieve my transcripts and have access to them

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

When it shuts down for updates there always seems to be an issue

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

This is a great program for Schools not just Zuniversity I think this would Help High schoolers all the information at your hands

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i Can have access to payment options and even contact financial aid through goldmine if I have any questions

  ### 29. Awesome CRM

  ### 30. Once was solid but now left in the dust

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim S. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

The software is stable and I have control over the data because it is housed on site.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

Goldmine was once the gold standard and I have used it for decades. The owners have not invested any meaningful money into upgrades for a very long time. The software today is almost identical in look and function to the software version from ten years ago. In software timelines that is a very long time. I could live with the small, insignificant upgrades, but I can't live much longer with the lack of integrations with other business software. There are only a few company supported integrations such as constant contact. While the constant contact integration works well there are many more integrations I would like to use. Goldmine competitors often have onsite as well as cloud based versions. Today business is transacted on the fly and mobile. Other than some very minor calendar integrations with my iPhone, there isn't a handy way to access my client data unless I am at my office desktop.

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

Get a full cloud based system ASAP. Then work at supporting integrations. Currently the number of integrations is anemic.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can keep track of client interactions of phone calls, notes and calendars.

  ### 31. Effective although a little dated

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Goldmine is easy to navigate and does what it says on the tin. It is effective for me to manage trade account details and to store all important information in one place.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

The programme itself is dated in both appearance and in some functionality.

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

Goldmine is an effective form of CRM and enables me personally to be able to store secure and important trade information in one location. It's features allow me to benchmark current usage against historical usage and analyse trends over times.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storing all of your trade account information on Goldmine erases the need for any paper copies and allows the user to effectively store all the information in a secure and safe way.

  ### 32. Strong Arm Renewal Policy and Ridiculous Terms

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

I like the way all of the contacts info is connected, via appts, emails, etc.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

Don't like the email client relies on IE, very legacy - and I don't want to use outlook!
Their renewal policy is a 2-year term and if you don't renew when they say they'll hit you with a penalty - though they think they're slick by calling it a reinstatement fee - sounds like a subscription to me!

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

Be aware of renewal policy and renewal penalty - which they call a reinstatement fee. This ain't like quickbooks where you pay for an premise version and pay for your upgrade and support when you need it - plus they strong arm you into a 2-year agreement. And how is this not like a subscription - caution!

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access to quick customer info with necessary detail.

  ### 33. Can be good value

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Industrial Automation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

You can own the software and deploy it on your own network. It is nice to have an open type system that is completely in-house. There are advantages to web based systems but in our case that is not desirable.

We also really like the ability to use GoldMine Web on our phones and tablets. It's just enough function for that use. We are a partial MAC house also and, the Go-Global options a fairly good solution for that.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

The user interface is rather outdated and and as such it's a bit clunky. I think its a good basic platform but needs a but of thought and upgrade put to it as well as adding some more updated features. Also, the updates that are promised with the maintenance contracts have been a bit slow to come and far between.

The Go-Global access could use a bit of improvement especially since we pay maintenance on a third party piece of software. Support needs to be streamlined for this part of the offering.

It's not easy to custom configure it and the partner scheme has been trying sometimes.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only real issues have been slow access when using remote access or on our MACs.

The benefits for use are more control and multi platform access. As a CRM it's OK.

  ### 34. I've been using Goldmine for 18 years. I'm still learning all of the amazing features.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason T. | Realtor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

The ability to use template emails, and scheduling follow up with my clients/customers.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

The learning curve. After 18 years, I'm still discovering new features. Lack of GM reps in my area.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not too many problems. The benefits far outweigh the problems. One of the biggest compliments I receive is my awesome follow up and I owe it all to Goldmine.

  ### 35. The best of the worst

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey C. | Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Goldmine has functions that other CRM do not have.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

Goldmine is extremely difficult, opaque, cumbersome, and unfriend for users. We have used it sine 1997 and never have gotten it to work properly or up to the marketing promises. Using third-party support people makes it worse, as they do not know what they are talking about and charge for everything. Your program is Catskill resort food: It is the best of the box CRMs, but it is not really usable and your company does nothing to help its customers.

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

It is the best of the worst

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

See my previous comment. The problems are too numerous to lay out here.

  ### 36. Good features but Goldmine needs significant design upgrades

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek F. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Goldmine has a deep set of features and does most of what our company needs it to do.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

Poor design - Goldmine looks outdated. The user experience could also be improved - navigating through the data within the software isn't the most intuitive.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily use Goldmine to capture our communications with our customers and suppliers. We have it tied to our email accounts so that records are stored in Goldmine which creates an easily searchable database of these communications to then answer future questions or solve similar problems that had cropped up in the past.

  ### 37. Goldmine is great for managing sales

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James B. | IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Space efficient and customizable contact screen, easy creation of custom fields, dBase and SQL filters, ability to store large amounts of information for each contact, SQL database engine, easy to write and manage notes and memos for each record.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

It's sometimes tricky to set up email accounts for users but it works great once you get it right.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Goldmine makes it easy to setup and change sales territories as we grow. With a master account it's easy to keep track of our salespeople and their work.

  ### 38. Invaluable resource with which to satisfy my modest requirements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iain F. | Sales Exec, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

It "does what it says on the tin" as far as storing and retrieving and linking essential customer data is concerned.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

I have never liked the alarm function and how it tries to "queue" follow-up sales calls when as so often happens these do not go according to plan.
I use what is I believe v 6.7. I have never seen in subsequent releases features which would motivate me to upgrade.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing ongoing customer relations effectively without this as a base would be almost inconceivable.

  ### 39. Great Product, Easy to Use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Easy to implement and staff will have no time getting familiar with the product. Great calendar feature for scheduling.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

I have not came across anything that I do not like so far. For a simple solution this is a perfect fit.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transparency across all staff.

  ### 40. I have been using Goldmine since 1993 (26 years) and cannot live without it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruce B. | CEO/President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Everything has been well thought out. It is exceptional and brilliant.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

As a single user, it is expensive. However, I find it is definitely worth the price.

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

If you have a need for a database, Goldmine is far superior to any other software on the market.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have created a database that is outstanding and I can reach out to prospects through the use of Goldmine.

  ### 41. GoldMine is extremely outdated.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

The basic features are easy to use. The email center is easy to use. That’s about it.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

It’s outdated. It’s not user friendly. There’s no “app” for mobile phones.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I only use goldmine because my company has always used it and hasn’t built in reports to track our sales activity, etc.

  ### 42. Very competitive product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2016

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Easy of use, automated processes are very powerful, pre-defined dashboards are very useful and you can create the ones you need. You have many add-on products that complement the functionality like MasterMine that gives you power trrough pivot tables in Excel

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

They don't offer sql server and crystal reports for free. If you want to buy licenses and are not current with the upgrade protection program (UPP) they don't sell them, also, if you don't pay the UPP and want to renew it later they charge you the time you didn't pay. The Spanish version is outdated several years ago

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

If you want to own a product this is the right one

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems: Lack or communications among different areas, information in many databases
Benefits: Correct follow of the customer, keeping contact with customers. We have an organization communicated

  ### 43. Good but can do better

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

The ability to save drafts and use them as and when required.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

Search feature is not the best, wish you could just search by using some key points mentioned in the email.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like the part about being able to add notes, which helps during meetings.

  ### 44. Awesome CRM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamison S. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Goldmine is a solid CRM program that helps manage our customers, prospects and suspects with ease.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

More communication directly from Goldmine with tips would be helpful.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improved communication with customers and prospects.

  ### 45. Terrible

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Nothing.

Just typing this to reach the 40 character minimum

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

Crashes when retrieving emails with winmail.dat files. Claims to be fixed in 2015 are untrue. Current version 2018.2 and still broken.

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

don't

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None

  ### 46. Customer database with easy customization options.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolette K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Easy to customize filters and customer information. Accounts are sorted into territories and sales personnel can easily find customers based off location, phone number, other vendors, time zone and more.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

It does not allow order entry. We must use different software to place orders.

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

Good for use as a customer database.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoldMine provides us with an expansive customer catalog. We are able to easily store and search for accounts.

  ### 47. Useful and relatively customizable

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2018

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Ability to customize the stats/customer information available on the main screen. Calendar is useful, including the ability to drag call appointments to different days.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

There is some difficulty in searching by key word in the "reference" section, even within one specific territory. Also, the contact information is difficult to update.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using them as our CRM software for basic customer organization, notes, and cold calling. Useful for organizing customer contacts and results of those contacts.

  ### 48. Customizable without integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2019

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Love the flexibility and customization that comes with the database setup.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

Too outdated of a UI and few/no integration capabilities.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CRM, workflows

  ### 49. Useful but high overhead

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gregg G. | Vendor Agnostic Advisor | IT Implementation Strategist , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2018

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

It is fast, and intuitive, and very well organized

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

It is a bear to install and synchronize, can be expensive to maintain.

**Recommendations to others considering GoldMine:**

Use it locally and not remotely with a large group

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contact management, all details of a contact and history with that contact

  ### 50. Decent for 2002

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keith R. | Marketing & IT Specialist, Industrial Automation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2017

**What do you like best about GoldMine?**

Goldmine allows for a lot of customizability. It allows small businesses an easy way to build a contact database and use it effectively without having to invest in a cloud-based solution.

**What do you dislike about GoldMine?**

The outdated interface. GoldMine shows its age the minute you open it. The system functions solely on-premise and requires much more maintenance than a similar cloud-based service. It proves difficult to integrate with the most common applications. The Outlook integration is slow and cumbersome, but you use it so you have a modern interface, unlike GoldMine's built-in client. The accounting integration is a joke and doesn't function easily.

**What problems is GoldMine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoldMine is a simple contact database. It allows you to manage sales and support from a single interface. It allows you to manage your workload and set automatic follow-ups. It takes a while to train yourself to use the software.
