**What do you like best about ABC Glofox?**

What I like best about Glofox is how flexible it is. We run a drop-in third space model for a children’s learning center with lots of different offerings, and the platform handles everything—from hourly bookings to classes and camps—really smoothly. It’s easy for parents to use, we rarely have issues, and it’s made managing our operations so much more efficient. The onboarding experience was also excellent, which made getting started simple and stress-free.

**What do you dislike about ABC Glofox?**

The glitches when parents try to add multiple kids which is something most yoga studios won’t experience and appointments not showing up under “bookings”.

**What problems is ABC Glofox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Glofox is solving the challenge of managing a high volume of different programs in one place. We run a drop-in third space model for a children’s learning center with classes, camps, events, and hourly bookings, and most children’s class-specific platforms couldn’t handle that level of flexibility. Even though Glofox is designed for gyms, it works incredibly well for our needs.

It allows us to streamline scheduling, manage credits, and keep everything organized without confusion for parents or staff. This has saved us a significant amount of time on admin work and made the overall experience much smoother for our families.

**What do you like best about ABC Glofox?**

I like the simplicity of ABC Glofox. It works well for managing day-to-day gym activities, especially for front desk and class schedules. The branded app is great, and I appreciate the different tiers of memberships that can be applied. It's also user-friendly, making it easy for the public to enter the gym. The integration with other systems like Kezy is a huge plus, allowing us to remain a 24/7 access gym without needing to staff overnight. I find it very easy to train onboarding employees, and members can easily learn how to use the app. The ability for members to have independence with store checkouts, class bookings, and daycare bookings is something I mostly appreciate. Additionally, the system's continuous updates and its openness to customer feedback are valuable.

**What do you dislike about ABC Glofox?**

As the business grows, the limitations in reporting and customization depth become more noticeable. Extracting detailed financial insights and check-in data is challenging, which complicates effective business decision-making. The lack of detailed insights makes it hard to track the true number of members and their activity efficiently. Customer support often doesn't provide long-term solutions, as they focus on visible issues rather than root causes, making it tough to resolve recurring operational problems. Additionally, there's an issue with integrations where I'm forced to act as an intermediary between ABC Glofox and Kezy support when problems arise.

**What problems is ABC Glofox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find ABC Glofox ideal for small-scale gyms, helping us track trainer performance and manage classes efficiently. The easy editing access for approved staff is useful, though customization limits can be challenging.

The platform is great, and setting up classes, memberships, and payments was straightforward. I’d recommend it for any boutique fitness studio. Their onboarding was really great and they take you by the hand to setup everything

Ease of integration with staff and clients. Having an app for clients to schedule classes save us so much time from manually entering participant information. Plus having the ability for the trainer to send group message if there are any changes or if they want to encourage their group. We have had positive feedback from everyone who uses the app.

The only downside that I have found is being able to change the trainer availability or block of time within an already scheduled day.

I like the booking system of ABC Glofox, which makes all the classes very organized and easy to add, modify, or cancel. I also appreciate how it lets me see all participants and handle charges efficiently. Additionally, having all the client information easily accessible is a great feature for running my yoga studio. While the initial setup wasn't so easy, I found the onboarding process exceptional.

There is no integration with Urban Sport. Also, there's a need for a better way of publishing workshops and events.

ABC Glofox helps centralize and organize many of my tasks, with a booking system that keeps classes organized, easy to adjust, and allows me to manage participants and payments.

I would like to have follow-up when there are new updates with the app rather than just receiving reminders. It would be nice to have a six months or a yearly review. And I would like for it to have a direct link.

The integration with MailChimp is extremely easy to set up, and all my leads flow directly into Glofox. The initial setup was very easy, making the transition smooth.

I like that ABC Glofox is easy to use. The support staff has been great, including onboarding and backend support. The software and site management are easy and intuitive. It's great and streamlined for getting all of my customer billing information exported over and for setting up new memberships. The website and the app were pretty seamless.

I don't have any complaints so far, but I would like to eventually see integrated access control instead of having to use a third party.

**What do you like best about ABC Glofox?**

I originally liked the ease of gym management software and ease of use compared to manual gym management. Implementation was straight forward and relatively easy.

**What do you dislike about ABC Glofox?**

The most impactful negative has been the experience of a 70% increase in pricing with no added value or ample notice to find a replacement solution and cancel. The software has many glitches such as not converting leads to members and support offers no resolution and regular app updates, while ideal for security, often produce member issues reducing the positivity of the customer experience. I am immediately cancelling and would never recommend this tool. If I raised my pricing 70% I would immediately lose every client.

They are not solving problems. This is why I am rating Glofox low.

There a few very minor issues from time to time but these are generally resolved quite quickly by the support team.

Some of the features on the web app are quite rigid and it would be great if there was more flexibility in terms of changing things. 

Eg: Being able to type in how many credits you want to allocate to memberships or clients
Being able to hide what trainer is taking a session

I've used GloFox with 2 gyms to date and found everything about the setup through to usage as top quality. With Cillians guidance and support it all went smoothly and began the easy use journey for our clients to book everything available at our facility.

Absolutely no complaints or dislikes. The reality is, this system is a leading option for bookings, marketing and more in the fitness world due to its hugely effective support and ease of use.

GloFox makes it easy to get bookings on regular basis and mixes the ability to earn income from individual client useage, ie PT or facility hire ie physio space rental or external coaches.

The help that's available at the click of a button. I feel they listen and give you the attention you need. If you dream it, they can achieve it! I feel they really care about my business and my story. They give me a platform to share my product with the world.

At first, I did not take the time to understand everything they could do. The great part was they were with me step by step, with patient and guidance to help me through it all.

The features I lile the most about Glofox are the integration with stripe which works really great, their beautiful app for students and their fast and responsive support. Push notifications via app and dynamic zoom links sent only to students who paid are also awesome.

**What do you dislike about ABC Glofox?**

Particular exceptions about handling classes and student credits options are not available. A better view and options on how to distribute student credits through classes they attended would make this platform even better.

It's helping me achieve more students on classes with solutions like push notifications via app and great waitlist features. It's helping my staff to deal easily with attending support because students can make most of their booking, canceling, managing themselves easily via app.

**What do you like best about ABC Glofox?**

Glofox are quick and responsive with customer service, which i think stands out the most. They have spent the time to establish a great relationship, with a customer success manager assigned to us to help us along our journey for a win-win success model. 
It's been a bit of a rollercoaster for us, and the impact of the economy has seen us having to adjust and adapt. It's been survival mode for some time now and actually we have had to close one of our gyms and just focus on running one of our branches. We have been in close communication with Glofox during these times and having to check with the team how we will stop our roaming feature, and a transition plan in place for this situation. They have been excellent during these times.

**What do you dislike about ABC Glofox?**

One uncontrollable feature is that Stripe (glofox payment partner) is unsupported in our country - Macau. This was explained to us before we signed up, as it is one of the major benefits of Glofox system is to utilize the payment structure, we however still wanted to sign them up for some of the other features including the booking system and member app but we will always feel like we are missing out for not being able to use Stripe. 
Another constructive criticism is that in Macau not many people use email. In China (and Macau) businesses use mobile numbers as the key identifier (with text messages sent for passcodes etc), perhaps an idea to explore for Asia market.

**What problems is ABC Glofox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Glofox is streamlining our data more effectively. The reporting features allow us to see things clearly. They have mastered the booking system for group classes... i believe they are the best system on the market for this and other major gym brands share the same feelings I'm sure.
We are also have an effective lead tracking mechanism now too, which are previous service provider didn't offer. The lead conversion stats are very useful and provide us a great platform to set measurable and meaningful goals.

The initial setup is great, very thorough and the onboarding staff is great. Really help develop your brand and maximise the software. This is crucial to gain the full benefits from the package. We have the Customised app which has been a massive selling point over our competitors.
The personalized app is amazing, so professional looking.

It was a lengthy setup process, however, this is to be expected when migrating all our members across from GoCardless etc. The staff made this a lot easier by helping me out, providing interactive walkthroughs to track progress.

If you need help collecting payments, contacting customers and clients, creating a store then this is for you

Glofox is constantly working on improving the user interface and any time I need  help, the support team answers incredibly fast to resolve any issues I may have!

**What do you dislike about ABC Glofox?**

Every platform needs improvement, but honestly my experience thus far has been far above and beyond my expectations. The only recommendation I could give is to have a workout tracker option in the app to engage more with members, create challenges that they can participate and use their tracking devices and sync them within the app! That would be totally cool!

**Recommendations to others considering ABC Glofox:**

I have already referred 3 friends who own businesses and they are extremely happy! I will continue to share my experience and send out referrals

**What problems is ABC Glofox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Current times have been very difficult especially on the fitness industry. Recently I've seen a dramatic drop in clientele making it difficult to come up with ways to make all payments on time. I reached out to the support team looking to downgrade to be able to keep my services, instead they arranged to keep me on the same plan at a lower rate! They truly see the benefits from their product and this showed me that they are all hands in to set businesses like mine up for success!

**What do you like best about ABC Glofox?**

Glofox not only has a really easy-to-use interface for myself and my clients (the app makes this particularly attractive), it is inherently designed to bring in ongoing revenue for customers. We used to be with MindBody and I can confidently say the move has more than halved administration time. 

We still use credit packs (we operate out of various locations instead of 1 x central studio), so offering subscriptions hasn't traditionally been a part of our model. However, the way the system is designed i.e. the reports favor memberships, the recurring bookings feature favors subscriptions etc – the credit packs are still very really easy for clients to use and us to manage.

It's been very customisable, I like that I've been able to change the specific words on my backend and app (i.e. facility has become 'location', 'staff' has become 'instructors').

The onboarding process was made very easy, and I've had Glofox business strategists reach out to me to provide unique, customised advice to drive profits – completely free of charge. The support team is reasonably responsive and overall, Glofox is a fantastic product for me. 

For further context for business owners looking for a beskpoke solution (as we were). We run dance-fitness classes where each 'class' is at a different location. Each 'class', while different and a surprise, is still the same 'type' i.e. it's not "HiiT-style, Barre, Stretch' etc – so to create distinction we decided to call the class names by the location. It's easy to set up a recurring class – but when/if you need to make changes, you'll need to do this manually for each individual class via the 'calendar' because any edits made at that higher level will apply to ALL classes, rewriting any past individual changes you'd made. 

The Glofox Staff Pro app is really useful too.

Overall, I would highly recommend Glofox to any business owners and I think it's a fantastic fit for teams in the fitness industry – for anyone where recurring subscriptions to match recurring classes is a key operation.

**What do you dislike about ABC Glofox?**

There are a few things / mostly lacking features or things that I've had to work around because of my business – everyones' is unique so it's hard to nail everything! However, these are my main and ongoing frustrations (Disclaimer: I'm pretty sure Glofox is still the absolute best product out there for our needs):
- The ability for clients to make recurring bookings for the same class – whether they have a credit pack or subscription
– The ability for clients to 'drop-in' casually to courses
– Would love instructors to have more control over the Glofox Staff Pro App.
– It's very frustrating that if you need to add a new class, anyone and everyone on an existing credit pack will not be able to book for that new class (if they purchased a credit pack before the day you added the new class – anyone after, provided your credit pack settings are correct, will be able to book successfully). You have to update the credit pack settings manually for every customer with an existing credit pack, AND there is no report to figure out whose credit packs need to be updated. The result is that customers message saying "hi, i can't book for the class " or "I was just charged $20 when I booked for the class" because they're expecting they would have been able to use a credit but its not automatically valid for new classes. It would be great to be able to make a blanket rule apply from the backend for when you add new classes. This inherently doesn't support the idea of growth/adding new classes so its a strange one to me.
- Glitching – I don't know what it is, but even though I use Chrome and refresh my browser/cache, sometimes Glofox will display a completely incorrect and random time slot, or instructor, or location which is always incredibly concerning for me when it does happen
- Glofox Insights and Reports don't feel particularly useful unless you prioritise having members/subscriptions
- There are some searches I'd love to be able to do in order to send SMS promotions i.e. Find people who've attended x number of times over a certain period (so I can reward them)
- Would love the ability to offer discounts through the system
– Would love an integrated referral scheme
– I would love to have more control over the colours of my email. My website is black, so I've made my widgets black. This however means that my emails are also black which just looks awful and there's no workaround, unless I change my entire website, which is not a solution. I would love more control over the colours of the app/widgets/emails etc.
– Being able to send an email or text to every individual in a class directly from the system (so with one or two clicks – at the moment, I have to manually type in email addresses if I need to contact clients about a change on the schedule or a change to their upcoming class). 
– Sometimes I feel like the customer service/support reps could be more specific with the emails they send – often it feels like their responses lengthen out the time it should take to resolve an issue or keep me hanging which I find frustrating – usually, any support queries I send tend to be urgent! Personally, good customer service to me resolves an issue within the first if not second email – I find that they continue to ask me questions when they could look into the issue themselves and come to me with a resolution a lot faster.

Glofox makes it easier for clients to book themselves in than for me (the business owner) to do it. I want to give my clients all the control over their schedule so that my administration time is zero. Glofox is close to making that a reality.

The categories function in your class and credit pack settings need to be edited to make any new class eligible for members who currently have a credit pack. - With the filters in your "Clients" section, you would be able to filter by clients who have attended more than "x" classes and send an SMS directly to that cohort of members. Again, a member of the team will reach out to help.
- Discount codes are now available to be used by staff and members.

The sign up forms for parents and children is very confusing when signing new clients. I should not have to sign up a parent for a contract when the contract is only for their child. This creates a false database. Not being able to print direct contracts is also an issue for existing clients.

I am spending less time on my day to day functions. The fact that everything is in one place has been great and saves a great deal of time. Having realtime data in front of me is also a huge asset.

UI is good. But many things don't work properly. Support tickets never get solved despite claims of being escalated as priority to senior management. Dubious company. Suggest others to find other software

Full of bugs and glitches. Even the basic functions are not working reliably. The worst is that their technical support only replies to this all the time: "Things are being worked on, can't give any timeline, but we will be sure to give updates when we have it." We have more than 20 opened tickets with them now and all of them are unresolved with some since 2 months ago. The customer success officer in charged of us has changed 3x since onboarding in March.

Just avoid. It is too late when you have migrated all your customers data over.

Customers get charged despite not getting their bookings etc. Displays are inaccurate, app notifications not working—a long list of problems impacting daily business operations badly. More resources put in to work around their numerous technical problems—many customer recoveries to do. The reputation of our business badly affected. The customer success officer in charge of us has changed 3x since onboarding in March.

They have a great team who are very supportive. We have reached the onboarding stage so can only speak to the process so far, however they have gone above and beyond all other software providers we have engaged with. They also have a great product for multi location facilities from what we have seen. We will update the review once we have been operational with the software for a few months.

They lack some non-essential features of their competitors, however they were super quick to connect us with their development team to help improve their product. By actually connecting us with their development team, it showed a genuine interest of productive development, whereas with other competitors we used, we received only lip service. They actually managed to turn one of their weaknesses into something that gave us confidence.  The true test will now come on their follow through, of which we are hopeful.

They are easy to deal with, however there is no free trial, so you'll need to book an appointment. They managed to call within 5 minutes of my Inqiry which was great.

**What do you like best about ABC Glofox?**

- Enterprise Customer Success team friendliness and helpfulness (shout out to Adam!).
- Teamwork culture - willingness to work together to make improvements and develop new features.
- User friendly software.
- Tier 1 support quick and friendly responsiveness.

**What do you dislike about ABC Glofox?**

- Not sure if this is due to a lack of manpower, but the delays on some problem resolutions and and new features development can be frustrating. It feels there is a lack of resources to be able to handle the workload. However, I can appreciate that is sometimes out of their control.
- Although very quick and friendly, sometime the Tier 1 support responses aren't as thorough and efficient as hoped.

**What problems is ABC Glofox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are plenty of probelems being worked on and realized benefits. I'd say it's a balanced list.

**What do you like best about ABC Glofox?**

Make the interface and the app for the client so attractive.

**What do you dislike about ABC Glofox?**

Sometimes the report goes wrong, which is very inconvenient. I need more details to be shown with the customer profile management or report. Some bugs are appearing but have been fixed. However, I don't know why some clients can book the class even though they don't have any membership or credit!

**What problems is ABC Glofox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The class package. You know when a client lets the package expire, as a service we won't take it away, then we have to count the attended classes one by one to have the final number of credits that the client has left. It would be great if you could show the details of the package when it expires more clearly, like (how many are left when it expires, how many were added to that package, or any changes, etc.) It will make our staff feel less stressed with counting.

And one more thing, can we create a class that anyone can book without membership or spending any credit in their package? We usually have some free events for everyone, and after that, we have to track and refund the credit for those who booked with the credit!

And can I extend all active members, whoever has membership (we don't have a freeze option because all our clients have to pay their membership at one time only)? There is COVID time, and sometimes we might close the gym, and I have to extend the membership one by one, which is so inconvenient.

**What do you like best about ABC Glofox?**

As my business model has grown to be 85% online as a golf fitness offering, I needed a software solution that could fulfill my onsite gym needs and my online classes. Glofox is very easy to use, for me and the end user. My time on admin has reduced dramatically as a result of Glofox. Payments are seamless and the back end reporting is very transparent which is important for any business owner.

**What do you dislike about ABC Glofox?**

I would love to be able to export course members onto an excel - this would allow me to handle my "zoom system" a little easier. As I send recorded sessions and the fact that my classes are so big, this is the only thing that is still taking up lots of time.

**What problems is ABC Glofox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The big win for me was being able to run marketing campaigns through my website and social media platforms which enabled the end user to access payments quite easily. My Glofox system is primarily being used as an online booking system which is ideal but it was also keep my gym members engaged with classes and events throughout the year.

**What do you like best about ABC Glofox?**

We were looking to change our gym management software and after a Zoom call going over their platform, I knew Glofox was just what we needed! The onboarding process has been very easy to go through as we integrate this new software to manage the day-to-day operations. 

The clean and simple interface makes it super easy to navigate. Glofox has everything we need to be successful from selling memberships to class scheduling and having our own branded app for clients to access.

Customer Service has been very helpful during this transition!

**What do you dislike about ABC Glofox?**

Being that we just switched over to Glofox, I have not come across anything that makes me second guess changing gym management software.

With the website integration and branded app, we will be able to communicate and engage our members for a better experience.

Glofox takes care of so much admin and all payments.  It is easy for clients to book in and gives immediate snap shots of what is working in my business and areas that need attention.  It really makes it easy to propel my business forward and allows me to focus on coaching and providing an excellent service to my clients.

In the few months that I have used Glofox I have to say I haven’t come across anything that I’ve disliked.  The team are amazing and are continually finding ways to help me run my fitness business more effectively and efficiently.
