Ethena helps us manage our training pretty well and takes away manual administration. **What do you dislike about Ethena?** Ethena is working on rolling out a few more new items that has improved over the last few months. I would like the reset period of compliance training to follow statutory requirements for each individual as opposed to a new refresh date for all employees. **What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ethena is managing the different state harassment prevention training requirements and administration on our behalf. The content is obviously great and we've heard good feedback, but most importantly we can quickly see that we're in compliance and track where different users are in the training process. It's far more affordable than having a HR specialist company conduct trainings and yet delivers the same high bar of engagement. **What do you dislike about Ethena?** There is only a limited set of trainings and some overlap slightly, so it may require us to have a separate system for some of our technical trainings, although they've recently added some new features which may allow us to integrate all onto one platform.. but we haven't tried that yet. **What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?** We want to have a safe and productive work environment that is inclusive and pro-active to understanding the risks of things such as harassment as we grow or bias as we hire etc. Ethena gets the team quickly on the same page and teaches some good common vocabulary. ### 3. The integration with Slack for nudges, the shorter training sessions (some are only 5 minutes) and the regular interval (monthly) for trainings makes it easy to adopt and reinforce the learnings. **What do you dislike about Ethena?** Ethena was brand new when we initially onboarded with them, so there was a bit of a growth curve for ensuring there was sufficient fresh content, but their content library has grown significantly in the last 2+ years and I continue to be impressed with the quality they've maintained. **What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are legally required to provide harassment prevention training for our employees. At prior companies, this was simply a "check the box" item that employees would block off a few hours to do once/year and was not meaningful. As an organization that truly cares about DEI and wants to ensure an inclusive environment for everyone, this recurring and relevant training helps move us in that direction. ### 6. Nudge feature so that I can fit it into my busy days is also appreciated. **What do you dislike about Ethena?** Sometimes I want to share in the laugh / enjoyment / learning of Ethena but because everyone is on different time frames I just laugh to myself, alone. Compared to other compliance training I have done at F50 company and a growth stage startup, I far prefer Ethena and feel like I have learned some details about the subject matter I have missed in the past in a rush to get them done. **What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes it so that Compliance training isn't such a time burden / isn't as dull. I remember a day at a past company when my manager sent a note to the team while we were grinding toward a critical deadline that nobody had started their training, and it was due that night. It's relevant and engaging, which really doesn't exist in the market right now for compliance training. **What do you dislike about Ethena?** There isn't a true integration with Microsoft Teams (yet!) so that will be helpful when it's complete. **What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?** No one likes to do compliance training, and Ethena provides content that keeps people engaged, and more importantly, makes them learn. As an administrator, the platform makes it easy to see progress at a glance, and we aren't spending tons of time in admin work or following up with employees. It is also nice that Ethena also reads it aloud so it is like someone reading you a nice story. **What do you dislike about Ethena?** Sometimes it does not read the information out loud and for a person with a low attention span, I tend to lose my focus and think of something else. I just like the voice of the lady that reads every single word so if I need to read the question, it is not fun. **What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is solving the issue of gender equality and educating employees about how to treat each and every one in the right way and the way they wanted to be treated.
