They make the platform accessible (both in format) and intuitive. As an admin it is also a breeze to sync with our HRIS platform (minutes, truly) and do manual adjustments when required is easy. We've also been able to transition many of our internal learning resources to their LMS to better track attendance, completion, and feedback. Our managers and leadership love their analytics which are clear and intuitive as well. The customer support is fantastic. **What do you dislike about Ethena?** I can't find one. Only that it didn't exist years ago. **What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pushing out the right training to staff when they join, or make job transitions (like assigning the managers' module when someone becomes a manager automatically, or assigning IL training when someone's location changes to IL). It also makes it so much easier to sell people on our training program because it is fun and relevant rather than cringey. ### 2. While the acting is not terrible or poor quality, some of the writing comes off as stilted. Setting up the platform could not have been any easier, even for our multi-state remote based org. Ethena doesn't just allow us to meet our compliance obligations and keep our employees up-to-speed on their responsibilities and associated best practices; it goes above and beyond by delivering training in such an engaging and easily digestible way that employees actually end up embodying the principles at hand, thus making our organization stronger and more cohesive from top to bottom. When compliance tools that I encountered in the past proved unengaging and painful to get through, it sent a signal that creating a culture of respect, inclusion, and responsibility were not high priorities; using Ethena has had the opposite effect, making it clear to all members of our organization that creating a great workplace and a culture of professionalism and responsiblity were top priorities. I recommend Ethena so often that I probably sound like a broken record - I just cannot say enough good things about it. Some more positive points that I would like to highlight: 1) Ease of use. As a user, Ethena proved refreshingly easy to initiate, progress through, track my progress, and track completion of required trainings. For our leadership team, it has made it easy to onboard new hires and track compliance across the organization. The interface is intuitive and clear, and navigating the content is a seamless experience. 2) Engaging content. In past experiences, any mention of compliance training promised to elicit grumbles from my colleagues. But when I mention Ethena to someone who uses it (whether in my organization or outside of it) I am invariably met with a smile and a glowing endorsement. The content being current, relatable, and well-produced has transformed compliance tasks from being a drain on morale and energy to something that is at worst painless, and is more often than not energizing for the organization. 3) Variety. The ability to get training on the variety of compliance topics that we need to cover all in the same space is a massive benefit. For us, the HIPAA and cybersecurity trainings were particularly useful. From a legal perspective, it gives me a great deal of comfort to know that our employees are well-trained on their obligations with respect to PHI and sensitive data. This makes my life easier, and also helps reassure our partners that we are an organization that they can rely upon. Ethena is a top tier solution that does much more than checking the box on compliance training tasks. It is refreshing to see such an important service delivered with such attention to both the user and administrator experience. I can confidently say that we are a better organization for having used Ethena, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. **What do you dislike about Ethena?** Honestly, nothing comes to mind. The course is modern and engaging. It's not stuffy with C-list actors like many of the other options out there. We were easily able to integrate the training using a SCORM file into our LMS (Absorb). A cool perk was the additional quick DEI trainings that came with the Harassment Prevention bundle. We use the course multiple times a month for our new hires. **What do you dislike about Ethena?** We were told by our sales rep that the CA Harassment Course was available in Spanish. However, this platform is so fun, funny, enagaging and flexible. You have the option to read it for yourself or have the audio read it to you. They have videos baked into the trainings which up level it quite a bit. I also like that it is contiuous trainings on various topics throughout the year-they are bite sized (5ish minutes) trainings to keep the material fresh in your mind. I also like that it integrates with Slack so that reminders and notifications come directly to our employees on a plantform that is used more than email these days. **What do you dislike about Ethena?** While I do feel the product is worth the money, it is quite an investment for a small company like ours especially since most HRIS tools now have compliance trainings as part of the package. I wish Ethena would try and become the go-to trainings that is included in some HRISes **What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?** Training enagagement. Our team has consistently given feedback that it is the best company trainings they have had at any employer. More importantly so many things in the real world may be in a gray area and Ethena openly admits + accepts this in how they approach training which, in itself, makes people learn how to address situations that aren't by the book. Finally, I love how it automates who needs to be trained on what given the ever evolving changes in state and federal laws, not to mention it serves up bite sized refreshers (so rather than sitting down once a year for hours, you instead have smaller chunks of training each month with some as little as 5 minutes). **What do you dislike about Ethena?** They're constantly adding in new features albeit at different price points and often a la carte. Perhaps not the worst thing but it's hard for us to reconcile when we have other outstanding services (for example: security awareness training, American Bankers Association training) from other vendors on a different renewal schedules that we'd likely be willing to move to Ethena. Perhaps that's the biggest piece: understanding their product roadmap and see how it overlaps with our needs. Assuming it's price competitive, we'd likely want to move other things onto Ethena to keep it simple + so employees know where to look for all their training. For now though we had to go with those other vendors as, at the time, we needed something and Ethena didn't have it ready. **What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?** Always keeps us up to date on compliance requirements which, as a remote first company, is invaluable given employees all over the states + beyond ### 21. Employee's eyes would glaze over and it was difficult to get them to do it because they'd "done that before, do I really need to again? It's always the same." They help keep us up-to-date on all the latest compliance updates, and are quick to adapt their product to meet new legislative needs. Tracking completion is easy and they've added a lot of great functionality to customize how & when trainings are delivered (you can change reminder cadence, set up schedules for recurring trainings, set a new hire cut-off date for training, etc.) **What do you dislike about Ethena?** Ethena is quickly adding a lot of new functionality (which is great!), but it's not always 100% functional on day 1. For example, Ethena added a great tool for managers to be able to log-in and see how their team is progressing on training, but managers aren't automatically assigned, and this is a manual step we need to take. **What problems is Ethena solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not only does Ethena help us deliver required trainings, they really get our employees engaged with content and not dread the normal cringe-y harassment prevention and compliance courses. Ethena is lovely" Sexual harassment is such an important topic, and the training shouldn't be something we all roll our eyes about.
