I like that Emtrain has a sort of easy format. It's not very complicated and seems easy to use. Setting up the campaigns and scheduling them to occur in the future helps a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't like that Emtrain doesn't have a sandbox or QA environment. As I'm building modules, I'd like to test them in real time and see what they look like. Emtrain is really bad at that. Emtrain makes compliance training informative, educational, and genuinely engaging. It’s the rare training people do not dread and can actually learn from. As an HR leader, I especially appreciate how Emtrain gets employees to think about bias and behavior in a practical, real-world way without feeling legalistic or preachy. The video content is high quality, modern, and consistently fresh. The rollout is also easy, assigning training is straightforward, reminders and tracking are simple to manage, and reporting is clean and audit friendly. From the employee side, the experience is smooth and the content feels practical and relevant, which helps with completion and real retention. The platform can also help predict where we have trouble spots, which lets me address problems before they start. Overall, Emtrain helps us reduce legal risk while making our HR team look good for choosing a training program employees will actually take seriously. We use EmTrain to complete our annual Workplace Violence training and biannual Harassment training. They trainings are so user friendly and easy for our staff to accomplish! Our staff are engaged and able to learn what they need to without us reinventing the wheel. As a Corporate Training Manager, I find Emtrain to be a convenient tool for reaching a large number of people across our organization. The microlessons are well received and serve as effective reminders of our priorities, values, and expectations. It´s a great tool, easy to use, easy to do most of the set up, good graphics, generally updating tranings to new versions, help information available in the platform, periodically training sessions for members, always open to getting new ideas, feedback and to help users, fast tech support. There are still things to improve, for example I was recently working on preparing our annual campaigns and I am required to use the Anti Bullying and Agressive behaviour. When using the select content in the campaign there are 3 versions with the same title and picture but different IDs, dates they were added and applicable to different countries. I was told that sorteing them by date that would be easier which is also not friendly as I had to go back to the content Library to check all those trainings and check the dates they were created and manually count them to select the one I presume is the correct one (as I am still unsure if I selected the one I need). It would be very useful if the ID numbers can also be shown in that section so we can select the required training.

I actually noticed that for one of the campaigns I launched in early August it has the wrong Anti Bullying and Agressive behaviour training which would take me to the 2nd point.

Once we launch the campaigns we can no longer make edits on the material selection.

I think this also needs to be more flexible, like I mentioned I launched a campaign where I selected the wrong training and I am not able to make an edit. Also, back in April we created campaigns for our 2025 new hires where we used the last version available at that time for the Preventing Harassment training and now that we are working on our annual compliance training for the hires before 2025 there is a newest version that we would implement so, If we have new hires for the rest of the year they would have the previous version as we can not make edits to the material. Our firm primarily uses the Anti -Harassment, Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Trust materials for our annual compliance training initiatives, as well as some DE&I trainings at various times of the year. I have found that all of the training materials are very well done and avoids the usual tropes used in many "Anti-Harassment" trainings. Video vignettes in all content are well acted, accurate and represent real-life issues. The ability to collect real-time information on employees' feelings about their work environment and company policies is very useful. I particularly appreciate the ability to make real-time changes to policies in the configuration area of courses without resetting completions of making fundamental changes to the course material. really have nothing to "dislike" about Emtrain - we have had some minor issues due to the SSO link between our LMS and Emtrain, and it would be useful to be able to host the content directly ion our platform without linking back to the Emtrain LMS, but all issues have been resolved and i think some aspects are unavoidable. I would like to see a downloadable course summary/syllabus that I could provide to auditors which would help them validate our training material. Emtrain allows me to upload reports into the system to update easily and sufficiently. Great content, educational and entertaining. My company's rep for emtrain is Rachel, she is the absolute best, she responds to my emails of minor questions within 5 mins. As a first-time user of Emtrain, I’ve had a positive experience and can see why it’s becoming a go-to platform for workplace culture and compliance training. It feels modern, easy to use UI and actually relevant to real workplace situations, which is a refreshing change from traditional, checkbox-style compliance training.
