"User-Friendly Email Platform with Reliable Send-Outs and Great Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

It’s a user-friendly, intuitive platform with very good support from our Client Success Manager. We mainly use it for email campaigns and transactional emails, and the send-outs are reliable. It also provides a clear overview of delivery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I find some features difficult to integrate without technical knowledge (e.g., data management in general). The process of creating a new account or modifying an existing one (e.g., changing the name) is quite complex as well. Also, it’s not possible to have different accounts open at the same time. A heads-up when costs are about to increase because we’re reaching the amount included in the contract would be appreciated, but that isn’t the case for now. "User-Friendly with Efficient Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I find SAP Engagement Cloud to be a very user-friendly platform. I've noticed that even the automations section is much more user-friendly and easier to use and digest than some other platforms I've used. I think the layout of the nodes and the placement is very clean, clear, and easy to follow, which makes the experience smooth and efficient. It's not clunky or cumbersome, which helps take some time away from what could normally take longer, making the process cleaner and smoother. I find this layout very helpful and useful, as it reduces the room for error and is likely to save time in the long run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I'm still learning the platform as it's only my third week, but so far, I haven't encountered any major issues. The only thing is sometimes the segment page takes a minute to load, which can be a little drawback, but that's really the only thing I've seen so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Streamlined Marketing Automation with Improved Integrations"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like SAP Engagement Cloud because it's intuitive and easy to use, which helps me focus on marketing by removing non-marketing-related tasks. This makes my work quicker and improves communication with customers. I appreciate its drag-and-drop functionality and how it consolidates all channels into one tool. The tactics section and the automation editor are particularly helpful, enabling me to start tasks quickly and build automations more efficiently. Overall, the platform simplifies my processes and helps me work faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

There could be improvements in some bits and pieces of the technical setup. Especially, I am missing a function where I see logs for the integrations. I think the technical setup could be streamlined a bit more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile Components and Powerful Customization, But Training Needs Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like the wide variety of components, tracking, and customization that can be done with SAP Engagement Cloud, in addition to data collection. I also value the sending of follow-ups for loyalty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

The training of the tool. I would like to have catalogs or user manuals, as well as easily accessible training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralize Actions and Offer Efficient Campaign Control"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like the stock tracking dashboards and direct revenue attribution, which help me a lot to understand performance. Additionally, the predefined campaigns aimed at the online channel make our work easier, as we only need to develop them according to our business, which ultimately benefits internal developments. The focus on automations that we are implementing internally is also a positive point for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I find it problematic that the mechanics or actions aimed at the physical customer (POS) continue to be an issue, since most of our customers are physical and prefer to go to stores rather than buy digitally. Furthermore, we have platforms that we use to send SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS that are not integrated with the SAP Engagement Cloud, and these partners are not official SAP partners. "Efficient Communication Tool with Room for Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I find the email editor of SAP Engagement Cloud to be good and intuitive, as well as the automation program editor. It's very easy to set up and saves a lot of time when setting up campaigns. I also appreciate how it allows us to combine data from different databases into one place for delivering relevant and personal communications to customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I find the use of segments to create audiences a bit of a hassle. I have to set up a lot of segments and combine them in some scenarios to get the list of customers I need. It often leads to duplication and is difficult to manage in an organized way. I think a better categorization or filing system would improve this process. Also, the initial setup was quite complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive UI with Robust Email Automation"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like that SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys) is very intuitive and has a user-friendly UI, making it easy to use and understand, even for new commands. The platform makes it straightforward to manage data and set up automations. I appreciate that creating email campaigns is easy, even for someone without an HTML background, thanks to the drag-and-drop functionality and customizable templates. The automation setup is also intuitive, allowing for detailed decision-making processes. The price point and positive reviews from other teams also played a big part in choosing this product. What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

The initial setup was a bit challenging, though we managed to get things up and running quickly after some effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Campaign Management, But Needs More Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I really like the ease of use with SAP Engagement Cloud. The VCE template builder is a fantastic feature, providing an easy drag and drop campaign builder from SAP Emarsys templates, which makes my work as a marketer much easier, eliminating the need for endless hours of grinding to change something as simple as a CTA color button. The campaign builder is equally impressive, allowing me to have a campaign ready to launch in just six consecutive steps. The automation center also adds to the overall functionality, making campaign execution smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I find the product API missing to be a huge problem, and engagement events have limited support. We are still missing critical social media channels like Snapchat native integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Marketing Automation with strong personalization capabilities"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like the powerful marketing automation, customer segmentation, omnichannel campaign management, and AI-driven personalization features of SAP Engagement Cloud. They make it easy to deliver targeted customer experiences efficiently. The automation significantly reduces manual work and saves time. The platform helps us target specific audiences based on behavior and preferences, and omnichannel campaign management allows us to coordinate consistent messaging across email, SMS, web, and mobile, which results in better customer engagement and campaign performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

The platform has a steep learning curve for new users, and reporting and analytics could be more flexible. I'd like more options to customize dashboards, easier report creation, and deeper real-time insights without relying on manual exports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Analytical Insights with Usability Gaps"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like the analytics feature of SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys), which gives me insights into my clients' behavior. It's valuable because my clients are not very digital, and the analytics provide a lot of information about their behavior. I also appreciate the automation programs that help with the platform's setup and assist in adapting to a B2B eCommerce environment. Additionally, cross-selling is important in B2B, and I find all these types of automation really useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I think the way you design the emails can be more easily to use. I don't have any idea about HTML and to do designs is difficult to me. I have to do online courses and to see webinars to understand the platform. We need more courses about the platform to adapt to a B2B e-commerce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
