I appreciate this in my business because I do not have to drive all around getting things signed. Right now all of our completed docusigns sit in the "completed" tab and start to pile up/ **What problems is Docusign solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being in real estate there are tons of documents that a buyer or seller or even both need to sign. This makes things quick and eliminates the need to travel to get wet signatures. It also can be used for closings. ### 3. Whether importing documents or creating templates, it isn't complicated. Aside from it being user-friendly, I find being able to view the status of the envelopes I send out to be incredibly helpful. **What do you dislike about Docusign?** The area I would like to see improved on has to do with optional fields in documents. They are very easy to overlook when the signer is just going from required field to required field. If there was a way to highlight those areas a little more, that would be incredibly helpful. **What problems is Docusign solving and how is that benefiting you?** Templates make it very easy to get the same documents out to each individual employee. I would like it if there was a quick link button to select that will save the new person in the address book. **What problems is Docusign solving and how is that benefiting you?** Many of my remote employees (such as outside sales reps) don't have a printer at their home office so we were having a hard time getting them to sign off on new policies. In addition, I find their customer service team extremely helpful when I need help understanding complex legal terminology within contracts or if there is an issue at any step of my workflow process. **What do you dislike about Docusign?** I have found several issues with DocuSign that are cause for concern. Bugs in the software, such as the inability to upload new documents, remain unresolved and customer service is poor. In addition, while it can meet various needs by allowing individual customization of their product or services without student discounts, it can become very expensive considering how generic some features may be compared to the public market value. **What problems is Docusign solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm benefiting from DocuSign because it makes the process of getting a customer to agree to my proposal or contract much easier. We've not really had any issues with the software functioning how we need it to. It has a lot of features and its easy to use. I think Docusign is considered the industry's go-to, although other options are popping up regularly. We have switched to PandaDoc and have found that they have many of the same features and is just as easy to use. I think for someone using the standard plans sold through their website, it's probably a great service. We used an enterprise level plan and had a horrible experience. **What do you dislike about Docusign?** Our experience with the Support Team and Account Managers has been truly awful. They messed up our billing and then wanted to come to us and have us pay twice so that they can fix their accounting and mark the usage paid in the right quarter. The request was completely unprofessional. This was also after I had worked with two other account managers in a matter of 5 months. Our account manager changed so often that each time, I would have to explain what had previously happened because they came to us asking for payment for something already paid for. It seems that the departments do not communicate well, even though there are regular staffing changes. And when I worked with the Support Team, they would direct me to our Account Manager. I had only contacted the Support Team initially because our Account Manager told me to. As a Director level employee at my company, this is a tremendous waste of my time and the company's money. **What problems is Docusign solving and how is that benefiting you?** We send contracts to our customers for certain services. We used an integration so documents are automatically sent when requested by our client. It helped us outsource that task as we needed. ### 18. However, this integration capability was suddenly revoked from us without any notification. By going through a process with support to try and fix the integration, it was discovered that this now requires an upgrade to their Business Pro plan plus a Salesforce Connect add-on. There seemed to be confusion between their support team and sales team as to which features were required, and overall, the communication from their team was unclear. I always have to edit my Word template, then upload to DocuSign, then fill in / modify field placements. I hope that one day you can do it all within DocuSign. They told me the system would update automatically and not to worry about it. Of course, it didn't, and I was overcharged on my next bill. I reached back out to support, explained the problem, and asked for a partial refund and to remove the additional seat. They opened a ticket and said they removed the seat and that I would receive a refund within 10-14 business days. I reached back out 3 weeks later as I had not received the refund. The lady in support told me their finance department was backed up and that they hadn't begun processing my refund yet. I logged into my bank account today to see the monthly charge from Docusign, overcharged again. Not only have they not refunded me, but they didn't fix the problem and overcharged me again. **What problems is Docusign solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sending contracts for employees and clients. ### 27. They will get in touch ~ 5 days before contract renewal and be very persistent about signing up. After you do, it is impossible to get through to anyone, even if it is to try to pay your bill. Would recommend looking at alternative solutions due to the non-existent customer support. **What problems is Docusign solving and how is that benefiting you?** Collecting signatures from clients on authorization forms and contract. Our business is fully remote, and DocuSign handles obtaining any signatures required. ### 28. It's incredibly easy to sign documents sent to me as well as upload my own document for signing. I'm also able to make any necessary changes before sending with just a few clicks! What's even better is that you can include multiple recipients in your distribution - even if their role is not to sign off, it's still worth keeping them in the loop as far as viewing rights are concerned. All in all, working with Docusign has been a pleasant process without any technical problems. **What do you dislike about Docusign?** I don't like the way DocuSign can become outdated if your sales team isn't regularly updated. It can lead to a lot of frustration and wasted time when documents need to be edited but they cannot because they do not have the latest version. DocuSign provides capabilities that comply with existing local legal laws, which makes any document signed through the Docusign application legally binding and tenable in the law court. **What do you dislike about Docusign?** Inability to save complex rules and routing as part of my template, needing me to to create them manually each time a template is to be edited is a sore point for me , as it simply slows me down . Also, why do I need to personally delete my signature after use on a document, as a designated signatory . I believe this process should be automated. **What problems is Docusign solving and how is that benefiting you?** Docusign saves my team a whole lot of time with processing many different forms that we require signed by our customers , in the course of our day to day operations. Docusign allows us to create ready-made contractual templates , where-in we only need to fill-in specific details and share with the target customer for their signatures.
