**What do you like best about Document360?**

Doc 360 is a game changer in the product documentation space. A very simple yet powerful tool to serve best. Below are the points I like most:
 - Setting up a custom domain for your documentation portal.
 - Smart Glossary
 - Editor is the best in class, giving you a lot of flexibility
 - Ability to create and use reusable content has made life easier
 - Ability to make your document publically available with SEO enables as well as locking them from private use with a single click.
 - Smart bars made it easy for us to add any announcements.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

I really don't have any dislike, but here are certain things that can be improved:
- User experience while using the tables.
- Sharing private documents with unique secured links

**What problems is Document360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Doc360 is now our centralized documentation library serving our product users. Earlier, we were providing pdf docs to our users, which was very difficult to manage. With Doc360, we have published our documentation on the potals.

Document360 is intuitive for anyone who develops technical content. The interchangeable WYSIWYG and code views are perfect for precise coding with quick review.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

Unfortunately, the code version has a couple of problems that (I am confident) are in re-development now. Bullets within numbered lists are quirky.

**What problems is Document360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned, Document360 is solving problems with the code version in terms of bullets in numbered lists. This will enable me to streamline my presentations.

**What do you like best about Document360?**

Document360 is one of the best documentation tools available in the market. The ease of publishing and version management makes the job of writers easy. With Document360, you don't have to worry about the publishing infrastructure and can focus on creating quality content. Apart from the core content creation ease, Analytics is another major advantage. It helps us understand which part of the documentation is used most or least. Other features like SEO optimization, feedback (like/dislikes), status indicator are a major help for the writing team.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

There is nothing much to dislike, however, a richer text editor would add to the overall usability of the product.

**What problems is Document360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Document360, you do not have to worry about installing and managing an on-prem authoring tool. It doesn't get easier than this, subscribe to a licensing plan, log in, and start authoring.

**What do you like best about Document360?**

Easiest and more intuitive! Gives ownership to writers to manage the end-to-end process from writing, designing home page, insights with analytics, and publishing.
SEO meta tags and analytics are the best and give us an understanding of how we want to model the KB better.
Inbuilt image and table styles make it easier to work.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

Issues with the editor, shortfalls with CSS, inflexible home page editor, junk characters for periods and quotes, introduction of span styles on copy-paste, issues with replacing images, no preview or staging sites for an intermediate check, and so on.

**What problems is Document360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduced dependency on non-tech writers for design, CSS, and publishing documents. This tool gives complete ownership to the writers who can own the end-to-end workflow with ease.
Less work on CSS as most requirements on images and table styles are present in the editor itself.
Insights into Analytics at the tool-level is helping in making conscious decision on articles - what's needed, which format is more read, etc.

Building a private knowledge base for internal employees to address their needs and requirements. The ability to make this knowledge base private is the best feature for us.

We are yet to explore the rest of the features as our key requirement is private knowledge base.

**What do you like best about Document360?**

• The possibility to see analytics and how well the documentation performs is handy 
• The ability to attach it to your subdomain or host on a subfolder is also nice
• We chose subfolder hosting (as it helps SEO), and now one of the articles helped to boost our SEO rankings :)
• Folders, searching and navigation (both the admin&client part) are pretty decent
• A live markdown preview

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

• Draft previews and homepage features are tricky ones when it comes to the subfolder hosting
• We don't use the versioning function, it creates a bit of confusion. But I guess it might be useful for some teams

**Recommendations to others considering Document360:**

Doc360 is a pretty universal tool, and you could use it for the internal documentation as well, just hiding the pages from public preview.
Just try to figure out who will be responsible for maintaining and updating the documents, because that is a challenge that many companies face regardless of the tool.

**What problems is Document360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we built our product over the years, we really lacked documentation. We did some internal documentation and some guides on the company website, but it was sporadic and unorganized. We now use a few purpose-dependant tools, and Document360 stands for customer-facing documentation.

So, the benefits we got with Doc360:
• Main one: embedding the guides inside our product to aid our customers and tell about the service 
• Organization of documentation 
• Gathering customer feedback on the docs
• SEO improvement (in case of subfolder hosting, and it depends on the article)

We have loved using Doc 360 and it has been an incredible tool for our team. With all the changes and updates I don't know how we would keep up without a resource like this. We are growing so much and this has been the reason we have been able to keep our teams updated and compliant.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

There are still bugs that happen and permissions can easily get messed up. Links break and create access issues but their support team has always been super receptive and helpful.

We have finally had a standardized tool for the whole company and have the right people viewing the right policies! Compliance is able to have the audit tracking and update reviews they need.

**What do you like best about Document360?**

It feels very intuitive. We first implemented an open-source solution that had a lot of great features but there were more than a few quirks that made it difficult to scale for the entire department to use. With Document360, it just seems to work. Creating and editing content is easy. Building and rearranging the navigation is easy. And customer support has been very responsive. There seems to be good energy behind the product with a strong pipeline of new features. We evaluated several competing products and Document360 came out on top.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

The cost grows considerably with larger teams. The enterprise package comes with 20 authors but after that pricing is per author and there is no distinction between active content creators and casual content creators. I would like my entire department to be able to create knowledge articles but I know that many, if not most, will do so infrequently and the $19/month per user is steep for what they're contributing. I would like to introduce Document360 to the entire organization but the cost would be prohibitive for the number of users we would like to allow to create content but would do so very infrequently.

Document360 is our centralized department knowledge base. Previously, every team had its own way and place of recording documentation. With Document360, we now have a shared and searchable knowledge base that is benefiting all teams.

**What do you like best about Document360?**

Document360 has been a breath of fresh air for me after I have seen organizations taking it too far with DITA. I will applaud the tool for its simple UI-just MS Word-like and very easy to use! Its powerful Search funtionality is itself enough to make you an instant fan of the platform. Not sure about their backend SEO, but I make use of the slug, short description, and H2 & H3 headings and keywords to optimize my content.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

Experience with Tables and inline icons can be improved, but I'm told by their Customer Servicing team that some enhancements are on the way.

**What problems is Document360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The simple and no-nonsense user interface, MS Word-like features, Storage options,Video embedding features, allows updating URLs immediately, adding crossrefs is an easy process too.

**What do you like best about Document360?**

As a standalone knowledge base, it has almost all of the features that I'm looking for: a good HTML and Markdown editor, a table of content, great searchability, and an easy-to-use CSS and JavaScript customization, among others. 

I have previous experience with other platforms such as Confluence and Salesforce, and by far, this is the easiest to learn and use. Their customer support team is professional and quick to respond to our queries.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

It doesn't have a way to schedule an article for publishing or archiving. I wish it supports bulk exporting documents (from Word). Feature requests might take a while. Limited integration with other platforms.

**What problems is Document360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved our need for a knowledge base that's pretty easy to customize and has most of the features that any Technical Writer would want in a knowledge base platform.

Able to upload already created documents into our knowledge base. The features are also very helpful in creating our knowledge base into our own.  I also like the emails about new features and the quarterly meetings with Document360 to go over any issues and show us the new fetures.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

The only thing is the API integration. But this will change soon because they will allow 1 API for all instead of 1:1 API for Teams integration.

Allowing us to maintain, store, and create a knowledge base for our engineers so there is one stop for all documentation and manuals.

**What do you like best about Document360?**

Easy to use. Apart from being a good solution for writing your documentation, the statistics are very helpful: Geography (visitors), Performance (views, reads), Search (popular and no results), and Link Status (redirect, broken) are what we use the most.
The Support is great, they respond quickly and are very helpful!

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

Needs more personalization features out of the box. Theoretically, you can select from any font for your articles, but only a few are selectable from the UI and the rest need some engineering from their side.

**What problems is Document360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's an easy-to-use solution, both for the end-users and for our company. 
With the statistics, we are able to quickly find articles that are not performing as expected, broken links, or articles that our users are looking for. 
The article editor is pretty simple to use, although not perfect, which means we don't take a long time editing and can publish information very quickly.

The interface is very intuitive. I was able to dive right in and start creating my knowledge base without any training.
The documentation is thorough and well written.
The training videos are very helpful.
Document360 offers a great deal of customization when it comes to the look and layout of your knowledge base.
The customer service is top-notch. They are always quick to respond to questions.
It is easy to import content from Google Docs and Microsoft Word. 
The output looks great.

When pasting content from other sources such as Word, I've noticed some formatting oddities, but these are easily avoided by pasting as text.

Document360 makes it easy to design a knowledge base, manage content, and publish a sleek and modern-looking knowledge base, which allows me to focus on the writing of the articles.

It's very helpful that roles and access to articles can be made specifically to cater to different people. I also like the simplicity of creating an article. The overall usability of the site is great, simple, and works well.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

It gets the job done, but it still feels a little clunky/old school in certain ways. I can't really explain it, but I think there are some improvements that could be made in overall cleanliness and smoothness.

Our company is small, but growing rapidly. Doc360 is helping us document our processes and procedures to that new employees can get as up to speed as possible in as quick and detailed fashion as possible.

Specialization in handling each article. User friendly. Supporting all the current features. Rich Editor. Supporting to import from word file. Backup & restore options.

Sometimes it's taking too long to load the page. Found difficulty scrolling on the categories without a mouse. User rights is missing (read only mode for public).

Doc 360 solved all the issues which I faced during my article creation. Great support from the doc 360 team. Sometimes I have to help their technical team :-).

**What do you like best about Document360?**

Document360 is easy to use, yet powerful - think clever tables, video embedding, etc. I love that you can import a word document and that it can then automatically be split up into smaller articles. We are also very happy that Document360 enables us to have multiple KB versions - to align with our software versions. Also, the KB organization is important for us and works very well in Document360 - with categories and multiple layers. Our readers, in turn, are specifically happy with the search functionality and the (automatically generated) tables of content that track where you are in an article.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

Although Document360 has SSO functionality, it is not yet possible to enable it for multiple domains. We hope that this will come in the future.

**What problems is Document360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensuring that all our clients always have the latest version (or version aligned with their software version) available. Also, enabling and improving self-learning.

We came from an archaic version of a desktop Help system to Document360. Getting the new articles and/or article updates to the live website was (to be polite) horrendous and caused plenty of delays in getting crucial information to our clients. And we were maintaining three separate Help sites/versions! With Document360 the delays are gone. We can have all three separate Help sites combined into one project. Updating an article for something simple like additional words or correcting punctuation used to take 24+ hours. That now takes minutes - quite literally minutes from request to fix to publishing the fix. Document360 is a rocketship! The onboarding, migration, and support team are stellar!

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

Wish they had a US-based support team, but this is a minor issue because everyone I've worked with thus far has been fantastic.

Document360 provides a Knowledge Base SaaS that is robust, but easy to use and maintain. The content tools feature(s) allows for you to design and create your documentation at a macro level, making the micro editing of that documentation very smooth. SSO and Security Permissions make for a more secure environment and analytics dashboards provide insights into your environment, documentation, and potential knowledge gaps. 

The tool provides extensions and integrations that contribute to an enhanced experience. The Google Chrome extension specifically allows our employees to have access to all our resources within a couple of clicks.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

Like any SaaS, there are occasionally bugs you are likely to run into with Document360. With that being said, Document360 has a support system in place to help navigate you through those issues.

**What problems is Document360 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For a long time, our end-user documentation was located on SharePoint and over the years became very outdated and unorganized. Document360 has changed the way we design, organize, and maintain all of our end-user documentation for our technology applications at a reasonable price. If you are looking for a true Knowledge Base solution to solve a similar issue, I recommend Document360.

One feature about Document360 that I would say stands out the most is the fact that it is easy for me to use even though I don't have any experience using HTML. Around 2 hours of training is all that is required.
With regards to knowledge management, we didn't hit any roadblocks utilizing this tool, and the fact that we could respond to queries within minutes is a bonus to our team.

Document 360 is a very efficient tool for the customer support system. However, more tutorial videos and more templates would have been better if I looked for improvement areas. Another area for improvement can be the customization of colors.

We use the Knowledgebase site of Document 360 to provide information to our customers on multiple platforms without them having them redirected. The fact that we can have more than 3 sub-sections and ease of navigation has made it easy for our customers.

The main feature that pulled us over the line was the multilanguage support. Doc360 makes it very easy to setup a knowledge base in multiple languages and their auto translation feature is awesome to quikly provide translations of articles.
The second feature we recently started using is the "mixed access knowledge base" setup, this allows us the maintain an open KB for our normal user and we have a second version for early access/ test user who need to loggin to get access to our manuals etc.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

Overal the package is very consistent and nice, if I had to choose one thing to improve it would be that once the original article has been adjusted that you get a notification that all other language articles need an update and that you can just add/translate to adjusted part. (We can always hape/whish :) )

We needed a centralized knowledge base for all our applications that was easily editable AND translatable. We operate in Europe and already suppoer 6 languages (and we aim to support more).

I can import Word documents.  Since most of our existing documentation is in Word, it saved a great deal of time to simply import them instead of recreating from scratch.  
Also I like how intuitive the product is.  What little I did not figure out for myself, I was able to find in their documentation.
And their tech support is wonderful!  Very quick to respond.  Very knowledgeable and supportive.

Just some minor things, nothing that I'd call a show-stopper.  I cannot insert an article in a location of my choosing.  I have to create it, then relocate it in a separate step.

Employees used to ask us for the same information over and over.  Now, they can access the info for themselves in the knowledge base.
Supervisors and managers do not have to spend time answering questions that employees can now look up themselves.

Knowledge Management is the new frontier for customer education and help desk deflection. Document 360 gives you a no/low code solution to quickly get a footing in the space so you can connect your customers with what they need. We use it for both external and internal knowledge management. Sophisticated permissions allow you to tailor views so individuals see what they need. Rich text editing allows you to produce beautiful articles with multimedia embedded (videos, animated GIFs etc) to engage your reader and hopefully keep their attention throughout the article. I also like how it automatically generates a table of contents to make navigation easy for readers.

**What do you dislike about Document360?**

Honestly, D360 is the best vendor I've found for knowledge base software. A lot of help desks have a super basic knowledge base incorporated (*cough, *cough, Zendesk *cough) but D360 runs circles around other platforms with their intuitive architecture and easy-to-use admin interface. Multilingual support....tech support chat....lots to love. They also let admins contribute ideas to their product roadmap - not that they all get chosen but it feels like they listen to their users when planning the future of the product.

Needed a 24/7 portal to host how-to articles and other reference materials for both customers and internal employees. D360 has made this easy with their no/low code solution. I can publish my articles and get back to my day job.
