The tool is fully automated and has all the required information pre-fetches so that all the tax deductions and benefits are auto deducted from the pay and the scope of error is minimised to a very large extent. It helps a lot in processing payroll for a very large number of consultants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Dayforce? The tool is not easy to understand for first time users. One needs to be thoroughly made aware about the various aspects of Ceridian to be able to use it easily. Also, the pricing is bit too high and for a small company it becomes very difficult to manage their payroll using Ceridian as the cost of operating goes quite high. Recommendations to others considering Dayforce: If you are a small business owner you should definitely look for your options as there are other cheaper alternatives present. However, if costing is not an issue for you than Ceridian is one of the best tool that will not only save you time but will also reduce the work hours by a very large factor. My Organisations runs payroll for thousands of consultants on a regular basis and in order to make sure that there are no errors in doing so a reliable tool is needed. I particularly appreciate how it displays key reports, such as headcount breakdowns by full-time and contractual employees. I've encountered frequent technical glitches, particularly with income tax processing, which is frustrating as resolutions often take around 24 hours—likely due to the US-based company's time zone differences with IST. There's heavy dependency on the US team, leading to delays. Additionally, integration options are limited; our attempt to connect with ADP for tax submissions was one integration which I have witnessed others I have not.
