It is very simple and user-friendly. One doesn't need to spend a lot of time in training/learning about this tool. Coming to my favourite part, it's the view that it creates for me for leave approvals. You can check days when most of your employees are OOO, do bulk approvals for leaves/attendance. **What do you dislike about Darwinbox?** There are 2 things actually: 1. There have been days when we mostly needed the tool for work and it was having server issues and we were stuck. 2. Darwinbox automatically sends emails to your employees every day if they havent marked themselves present the previous day. During the current scenario where every one is working from home, we had informed our employees to go and bulk upload their attendace once in a month but since darwinbox sends emails every day it creates confusion within the employees, especially the newly joined ones. **Recommendations to others considering Darwinbox:** I think you should definitely consider using this tool as it outperforms comparing it with other competitors. **What problems is Darwinbox solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem we faced was we didnt have a one stop tracker to track all our employees prior to darwinbox. After enablement of darwinbox, we have a one stop point to check all the things. It has benefitted managers in checking which employee works for how long in the office, who is OOO on which days, etc. ### 25. They allow some nice customisations of colour scheme and addition of employer branding elements. I understand that their pricing is more competitive than some competitors. Their staff are all very polite and open to feedback. I especially liked the Vibe module. **What do you dislike about Darwinbox?** Poor customer support. Felt like the support staff we were assigned were still learning how to use their system. We discovered several system limitations only after going live because they refused to do the admin training until after the "go live". Darwinbox ought to have trained admin at/before the UAT stage. Whenever we raised an issue, they would bounce back with several follow on questions or bounce off the issue to someone else in the team and circle back only much later, by which time we would have had to find alternative ways to solve the problem (e.g. by resorting to manual methods). They later admitted that their team was somewhat understaffed. Not the best solution for a fast-moving company. It takes a lot of time and energy to solve an issue. **Recommendations to others considering Darwinbox:** Darwinbox tries to do everything but excels only in certain modules at the moment. Would recommend deploying only the modules that suit your organisation's needs because customisations are very challenging to pull off on their platform, given the lack of skilled customer support and effective training **What problems is Darwinbox solving and how is that benefiting you?** Trying to reconfigure several modules which were not configured correctly from the outside (e.g. notifications were going to the wrong people or not getting sent at all, leave policy updates could not be reflected seamlessly, etc).
