## Curve Dental Reviews
  ### 1. Easy to Learn, Clean Display, and Seamless Imaging Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joan C. | Dr, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

Curve is easy to learn and onboard new team members. It has a great display that is not overwhelming with info yet it has everything you need at a glance.
The digital imaging integration is great and allows for emailing and printing in quality. The ability to drag and drop scanned letters and referrals is quick and easy. There's no need for extra apps or too many steps.
The notifications of new items or changes is immediate on the software and you are not indunated with emails.
But it would be nice to be able to add another dentist without the extra charges added to monthly fees.
The new AI assist to find answers isn't quite as handy as the Curve Community where there are videos to assist.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

DId not like to add extra fee to monthly charges just to add another dentist even if that dentist comes only once per month.
Also the AI isn't as good as the curve community videos

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are having issues with the odontogram. We want to have a starting reference point then start a new one when the pt starts having work done in the office. Similar to the perio charting where you can have several with different dates.

**Official Response from Amy Kitti:**

> Hi Joan, thank you so much for your review! We are so happy that you’ve been finding Curve very easy to use and onboard with. We appreciate your feedback to help us improve every part Curve.

  ### 2. Super-Friendly UI and Seamless Onboarding with Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam K. | Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

The user interface of Curve is super friendly and makes it incredibly easy for staff to start using. The many features and integrations allows for seamless use of phones, AI imaging, and more. The onboarding process was also very seamless and retraining new staff has been a breeze

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

As an American company, there are several features not currently accessible in Canada. Specifically, the ability to send attachments with claims and the ability to bulk enter payments cause friction when dealing with insurance. This is worsened as the pricing of Curve is based on the availability of these features, so it feels like you are paying for a product you do not get access to.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve is a super-fast, easy to use PMS that has many built-in features that help streamline office workflow. The many integrations allow for many systems to be used in one place and simplifies training for new staff members. Since switching to Curve, it has become much easier to audit staff performance and track outstanding treatment for patients.

  ### 3. Amazing software for the dental office

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea B. | Dental hygienist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I use Curve Dental every day in my dental field, and it’s very user-friendly. Everything is easy to find and navigate. It’s the best dental software I have ever used. We can quickly find any information regarding patients, assess their charts quickly and efficiently, and use the AI tool to help with X-ray identification for calculus and decay, as well as periodontal concerns. I love how it helps me have a smooth appointment each day with every patient. It allows me to see all the columns in one page, which is wonderful, and the sidekick feature is great for quickly viewing patient profiles, insurance, upcoming appointments, and notes. Uploading digital scans from our iTero scanner to Curve Dental is really convenient, too. The setup was quite smooth, and working with a large dental office, I find its ability to manage such an environment an upgrade from our previous software.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

At times it is down but that’s also a network issue and it usually resolves quickly! Maybe more user friendly to see on a mobile phone! When I need to check my schedule it’s sometimes difficult to navigate.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Curve Dental to quickly access patient information, including dental history and records, ensuring efficient and smooth appointments. The AI tool helps with x-ray identification, and it's user-friendly, making navigation and information retrieval easy.

**Official Response from Amy Kitti:**

> Hi Andrea! Thank you for your 5-star review! We’re so glad that you’ve had a great experience using Curve. We appreciate your partnership and LOVE to hear that Curve helped your practice each day.

  ### 4. User-Friendly Cloud Scheduling with Strong Support and Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael C. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

We have multiple offices, and coming from a server-based practice management software, it’s been much easier to manage our schedule in the cloud. Curve is very user-friendly, simple to learn, and accessible from anywhere. It integrates with multiple imaging softwares, and the customer support is strong—customer service is easy to reach anytime. They also offer regular updates and improvements to the software, and it’s customizable to fit individual practice needs.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

We don’t like the native, built-in imaging feature because the images don’t look very clear. The pricing structure can also be confusing, and the monthly fees feel high.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it helped us solve was managing schedules for multiple locations in a single scheduler. Being able to access the schedule on the go or from home also supports our daily workflow and makes day-to-day coordination easier.

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

> Michael, thank you for your comments and we are glad you are finding accessing and using Curve for multiple practices user friendly.
As for your imaging concerns, please contact me through the support line so I can facilitate you getting addional help there.

  ### 5. Curve is the best cloud based software ever!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lynette W. | Practice Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

Not being tied to a server any longer and being able to work from anywhere with ease. Super easy to train new staff on the software. Curve also has exceptional customer service!
With the addition of Curve Gro we have been able to stop using 3rd party vendors for additional services and keep everything in one place with minimal cost!

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

I haven’t experienced any downsides to using Curve in the 13 years we’ve been using it. What’s not to love? The only thing I wish it had is a time clock feature—adding that would make it feel complete for me.

**Recommendations to others considering Curve Dental:**

Give yourself time to adjust to a new software. Don't be afraid to ask for help

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve solved all the issues we were having with using a server, especially when you have multiple locations and need to stay connected to all of them. For us, Curve was the answer. Since moving to Curve, I can work from anywhere, at any time, without any issues.

They also solved the problem of having to use different vendors for additional services with Curve Gro; everything we need is in one software.

**Official Response from Amy Kitti:**

> Hi Lynette, thank you for being part of the Curve family! We are so glad to hear that Curve has helped you to keep everything in one place. We’re very grateful for your continued trust and so glad Curve has been a great fit for your practice for 13 years!

  ### 6. Fast Scheduling, Minor Glitches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** nitika j. | PCC, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I use Curve Dental in my office to schedule appointments, and I find scheduling very easy with the help of side kicks. I really appreciate how quick the responses from insurance are, which helps me put a lot of information for patients into the system efficiently. I like how fast it is overall. The ability to add a variety of layouts according to our preferences and set the number of hours we want to show made the setup really easy.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

I think the glitches can be improved. the Claim are down so many time which increases our daily work

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Curve Dental to schedule appointments easily with the help of sidekicks. It's fast, making insurance responses quick, and allows me to input a lot of patient information.

  ### 7. User-Friendly and Efficient for Dental Practices

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I find Curve Dental super easy to use with features like fast dental charting, convenient note-taking, and easy chart management for fillings and reading charts. The remote access online is really handy because I can check my schedule the night before or morning of, helping me prepare without needing to arrive early in case of cancellations. I also appreciate Curve Dental's user-friendly setup, allowing for easy creation of individual logins for all staff. Curve Gro makes it efficient to text with patients, and I can even include images. Switching to Curve Dental from Cleardent has been smooth, as it's very user-friendly and quick to learn.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

I find it annoying that bitewing x-rays don't automatically flip in imaging and only do so on the template, which means I have to rotate each one by hand, and that's time-consuming. I also wish I could bulk drag codes into the scheduled treatment day visit instead of having to drag them one by one.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Curve Dental for fast dental charting, easy x-rays, convenient note-taking, and billing. It allows remote schedule access, helping me prepare for the next day and manage cancellations.

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

> Thank you for your review. We are glad you are finding the different modules in Curve to be fast, convenient and easy.
When you are capturing the images, are you capturing them directly into the templated mount? If you use that image instead of the raw image that is pulled in, then it should be aready oriented in the correct view. Dragging multiple codes from one visit to another is a great suggestion. I will make sure this is entered.

  ### 8. Easy to Use, Feature-Rich, and Fast Customer Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaimaa- C. | office manager, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

It’s very easy to use and simple to teach to new employees. It also has a wide variety of things you can do, which makes the staff’s life easier during long, busy days. Customer support is easy to reach, and I can get an answer very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

The X-rays are limited when it comes to mounts and editing. When converting a lot of items, some things didn’t convert properly, and I wasn’t told about that from the beginning.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The updates and changes that are new to Curve—like not submitting to insurance and the new updates in Insight—are helpful and beneficial for us. Having a variety of videos that show how to do things is also very helpful.

**Official Response from Amy Kitti:**

> Hello Shaimaa! Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re so happy that Curve has helped make your staff’s life easier and that our support team has been helpful! We appreciate your feedback, and are always working to improve.

  ### 9. Organized, Easy Charting with Convenient Schedule Access Anywhere

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I like how organized and how easy it is to navigate patient's charts, allowing us to be able to save templates saving us time when doing notes, perio charting and the ability to switch the inputting pattern based on individual preference. I think the best part is the fact that I'm able to access the schedule outside of the office.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

There are times when the software is slow or when there are occasional outages. This makes it extremely difficult to proceed with the work day when were unable to access patient's charts for treatment or unable to send claims to patient's insurance which causes us to resort to manual claims.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve dental is beneficial to me in a way that it allows me to prepare for my day prior to my shift by allowing me to access the scheduling from home. This saves me time at work by reviewing patients charts at my own time.

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

> Thank you for providing us with this review. Having access to your data outside of the office, great feature isnt it! Unfortunately some disruptions occur, when they do we work to get them back up as soon as possible. We then research the issue to try to make it so that issue does not happen again. Once again, Thank You for your response.

  ### 10. Decent Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I like that the forms are easy to email and send to patients, which makes communication much more convenient. Recare also got a nice update. Also, Curve Gro for texts is fine.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

Marking people as seated is a hassle because the system asks unnecessary questions about the differences between appointment tags and production tags. Searching for available time is also difficult since the operatories list isn’t alphabetical and isn’t searchable; with 40 operatories, it becomes a nightmare to find what you need. Scheduling recare or hygiene takes forever, too, because you have to add each operatory one by one, which is unmanageable when there are 50+ options and there’s no way to save the search. Finally, Curve GRO texts don’t appear within Curve Dental, which makes it harder for doctors to view them and have them clearly connected to a patient profile.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Curve Dental to check in patients, handle bookings, and manage forms. I also find it helpful for emailing forms to patients.

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

> Thank you for providing your insight and difficulties you are having. It sounds like being able to save your search parameters is something you are looking for. If you would like you can contact me through the support line and I will then attach your name to the Suggestion that I will be putting through so that you can be notified of a resolution. You can also contact support and provide additional suggestions to help us help you.

  ### 11. Remote Access Wins, But Billing System Fails

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I really like not having to maintain a server anymore and that I can access Curve Dental from anywhere. It's also a relief not needing an IT department to constantly upgrade a server. Plus, I find it super convenient that whenever a patient calls, I can quickly access their chart.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

I find the invoice-based billing system awful compared to a ledger system. It's much harder to keep track of finances, making it easier for staff to alter records, which could lead to issues like embezzlement. It also makes it difficult for my front desk staff to adapt, and I feel like things are slipping through the cracks. The initial setup was very difficult. Getting images over still hasn't happened, documents didn't transfer well, and no perio charts came over. It's been a lot of work, and I even had to hire an extra person for the transfer.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Curve Dental for online scheduling, remote access, and HIPAA compliance, eliminating the need for servers. I can access patient charts quickly, which simplifies operations without the burden of maintaining IT infrastructure.

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

> Thank you for your comments on how accessible Curve Dental is.
We understand that changing from a ledger system to a invoice system can be confusing. We have built into the system the option to lock the ledger on a specific date so that only those who have specific access can unlock that and edit any transactions in the past. This is controlled by a specific permission. We will shortly be releasing this feature as a dynamic date so that you do not have to manually update the date the ledger is locked.
I have contacted your account manager and your project manager to make sure to give you an update on your image conversion.

  ### 12. Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haylie C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I appreciate Curve Dental's easy-to-use interface, making the software intuitive for new employees with simple, straightforward layouts that allow access to patient info in seconds. I also like how integrating Mango Voice with Curve Dental helps us see the patient's name and pull up their chart before answering the phone. Lastly, despite small areas for improvement, I think Curve Dental is the best option out there as it scores better than alternative software available.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

The layout is clear but there are a few small tweaks that could make it more efficient for users: hot keys would be helpful, the ability to right click open in new tab, split view layout, etc. It was a process for our larger team to get onboarded and make a change. Curve did their best throughout the training but I do wish there was opportunity to customize initial onboarding and training more to each individual practice's needs. I would have greatly appreciated the opportunity to go through the training independently myself. Ultimately, not every practice will utilize Curve in the same exact way so the trainers may be experts on the software but they are not experts on how your practice will utilize it and often were not as creative in their solutions as I was.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve Dental simplifies scheduling, billing, and notes for my practice. The intuitive interface and straightforward layouts make training easy and access to patient info quick.

**Official Response from Amy Kitti:**

> Haylie, thank you so much for your 5-star review! We are so glad that you’ve enjoyed Curve’s interface and integrations. We appreciate your feedback to help us continue to improve every part of Curve.

  ### 13. Comprehensive Dental Management with Minor Mobile App Hurdles

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I find Curve Dental really helpful for managing patient records and scheduling appointments in our dental practice. I also use it for office communication through the chat feature, which has been very effective, allowing team members to communicate more specifically and reference past conversations easily. We use CurvePay for merchant services, and it's great for consolidating credit card processing with our management software, eliminating the need for third-party merchant services. Additionally, Curve Grow, the patient communication platform, has been very useful and effective for communicating with patients. The initial setup of Curve Dental was very easy, with data migration and integration done well, even though we had fewer patients back in 2012.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

I feel that the mobile app could be improved. The navigation of it is a little bit clunky and requires several steps to get to certain features.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Curve Dental for managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and office communication with chat. CurvePay consolidates our merchant services and integrates with practice management, saving us from third-party services.

  ### 14. Revolutionized Our Dental Practice Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura R.

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

We moved to Curve Dental's Curve Hero for our dental practice management last year, and our workflow has improved significantly thanks to all the built-in features. Curve Hero is so user-friendly that even my non-tech-savvy coworkers picked it up quickly. I love how customizable it is, allowing us to make it look similar to our old software, so the transition was smooth without a big change. We can customize our schedule by color-coding, like making restorative appointments orange and matching notes, which makes finding specific notes much easier. The training and onboarding team at Curve was amazing, so helpful and patient with my 'resistant to change' team. Also, Curve offers an all-in-one system which MacPractice couldn't provide.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

We had a problem with the team chat feature. On our Apple computers, it did not notify when a new message popped up. Also, the link to pay feature wasn't quite right. If a patient called in to make a payment or mailed in a check, they would continue to receive the message that they had a balance when, in fact, they did not. We just turned off that feature until it could be fine-tuned.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve Dental improved our workflow significantly with its built-in features and user-friendly interface. The customizable options allowed us to mimic our old software seamlessly. It offers an all-in-one system that MacPractice couldn't provide.

  ### 15. Robust Cloud-Based Solution with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominika B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I like that Curve Dental, as our practice management system, allows me to access charts from anywhere, which is especially handy for completing charting at home or accessing records during emergencies. The cloud capability also solves cyber security issues as we avoided a major cyber attack, allowing us to continue seeing patients with minimal disruption. I really like the Pearl AI feature for x-rays; it's a great second look and helps with diagnosis and patient education. Billing is easy, and the notes feature is overall good. The Rx templates work well, making everyday tasks run smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

Forms once converted to PDF do not have good formatting and look awful. The ability to format forms is very limited and difficult to use. Creating new forms is not user-friendly, and editing existing forms has limited ability. The files and letter functionality has also not been updated in years. Formatting for letters is limited and doesn't look very professional when converted into PDF. It would be nice to be able to attach images to letters and email directly from software instead of having to export. It would be nice to pull the full birth date and not just age into letters because referrals want DOB and not just age. Being able to better organize or categorize letters in the list on the left would be useful. It would be nice to designate forms be saved automatically in specified folders.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Curve Dental for accessing charts anywhere, solving cybersecurity with its cloud-based system, which prevented a major attack. Remote access lets me handle tasks like charting from home, and Pearl AI assists in x-ray analysis, enhancing diagnosis and patient education.

  ### 16. User-Friendly, Intuitive Design with Anywhere Access and Helpful Patient Education Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

It is user friendly, and just makes sense. Less clicking and less "drop down" button to find things. I like how the side kick takes you directly to what i need. I like the look and the option to use color coding for appts. Love that we can access curve anywhere, home or office. Has good education tools and videos i can show my patients. It nice i can submit a ticket to IT for help of suggestions.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

In recent months it has been lagging, not refreshing. We have had our internet looked at and upgraded and it has sort of helped. It lasgs when we change the appt status. I also do not like once we check out the patient and send an eclaim once it is done processing it scrolls to the very top of the page and and not to the current transaction - so with a large family and mutipul invoices its time consuming

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

  ### 17. Streamlined Dental Workflow with Robust Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camila F. | Administrative Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I use Curve Dental every day at work as my software platform. Curve helps me use reports to keep up with my workflow and simplify the way I interact with patients daily. My favorite part about Curve Dental is the insurance module, especially how you can put in frequencies and other important details. It makes treatment plans more accurate, helps patients say yes to treatment, and helps me prevent insurance errors with claims. The initial setup was very easy, and the go-lives were extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

Curve community has been down for months and it would be really helpful to have a better resource guide. That is a big downfall of Curve.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve Dental helps me use reports to keep up with my workflow and simplifies daily patient interactions. The insurance module makes treatment plans more accurate, encourages patient acceptance of treatments, and prevents insurance errors with claims.

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

> Camila, we are glad to let you know that our Support App is now available, we have finished moving all of the old Communitiy files there for easier access and ease of use.

  ### 18. Effortless Portability and Integration, Worth the Switch

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gregory W. | Dentist Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I love using the Curve Dental mobile app because it gives me the portability of having access to information on my cell phone. In addition to that, I like Curve AI as it's a great training tool for our new employees. The software's portability is a game changer, allowing us to save time and money, which is excellent for our bottom line.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

I do wish that the charting was easier. I would love for the AI to be able to read off the x-rays and photos to auto chart. That's a struggle for a clinician, but it would be beneficial if the entry had a tag on who entered it and how recent it is for any tx added to charts in the tx plans

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve Dental solves the problem of portability, giving me access to the database everywhere, even on my phone. It's a time-saver that helps save money, with its modern software continuously improving the patient experience.

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

> Hi Dr. Wu, Thanks for the feedback. Lets get your suggestion entered in. Give me a call so we can get some more details!

  ### 19. Easy to Use, Perfect for Dental Charting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenna . | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I use Curve Dental for dental software needs including charting, x-rays, and notes daily. What I like most about Curve Dental is that it is accessible online remotely, allowing me to check the schedule even from home. It's easy to use and figure out when you're new to the software, with features like easy note taking and helpful template options. I also appreciate the easy imaging software, which is fast for taking x-rays, showing patient images, and editing or deleting images. It makes it easy to upload previous x-rays and take I/O photos and PANs. The charting and code shortcuts, alongside easy-to-use notes and clear billing/insurance sections, add to its value. The initial setup was super easy, which definitely made a good first impression.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

I have some issues with Curve Dental. Curve Canada doesn't allow charting of supernumerary teeth, which can be limiting. There's no sticky note option in patient charts for highlighting important notes. Sometimes the completed codes don't refresh from the back to the front end computers, which can be annoying and confusing for reception checking pts out. If a visits codes aren't in scheduled, the appointment doesn't grey out when checked out, which is confusing and looks wrong end of day. Treatment plans and visits don't appear on the same page, making it tedious to manage. Also, it takes forever to drag treatment plans into the correct scheduled visit to check out.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Curve Dental for easy note-taking with spell check, fast imaging for x-rays, and accessible online scheduling. It's straightforward to learn, with clear billing and insurance handling.

  ### 20. Streamlines Dental Practice with Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexis R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I use Curve Dental to keep my patients' charts up to date, including all medical and dental info. It's really convenient because Curve Dental integrates billing and insurance, so I use it for everything. One of the best things is how it allows us to see everything at once without opening multiple tabs, which I find very useful. I appreciate how clean it looks; it shows a lot of information but doesn't look vintage like Eaglesoft or Dentrix. The recare tag feature is something I really like—it makes dragging appointments to where they're scheduled super easy, which saves time and in the dental industry, that's very helpful. Also, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

I wish Curve Dental let you make a template for the main page for appointments so it is easier for front desk to schedule appointments at the right time. I would like to be able to color code the daily schedule like below the appointments so we can follow a schedule template to be more efficient.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Curve Dental to keep patient charts updated, incorporating medical and dental info, billing, and insurance. It solves the problem of managing multiple tabs by showing everything on one screen, which is very useful. The recare tag saves time, crucial in the dental industry.

**Official Response from Chloe Loughmiller:**

> It’s great to hear Curve has become your all-in-one system for charts, billing, insurance, and scheduling-- and that the clean layout and recare tools are helping your team stay efficient day to day. That kind of streamlined workflow is exactly what we aim for with Curve Dental.

On your feedback around scheduling templates and color-coding the daily view, this is something we may be able to help with through configuration and best-practice setup. We’d love to have someone from our team reach out to walk through your current workflow and see what options are available to better support your front desk process.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience and suggestions, we really appreciate it.

  ### 21. Effortlessly Enhances Dental Workflow

**Reviewed by:** Alana p. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I find Curve Dental very helpful as it makes navigating patient treatment easy. It offers multiple ways to do multiple things, which I appreciate. Writing notes is easier than ever and collecting payments is straightforward. I like that it quickly tells us when a patient is overdue for a cleaning or has overdue past balances, and it's very fast at checking insurance eligibility. I particularly enjoy the feature that allows live texting with patients, as not everyone can make a phone call right away. This helps me when I need to retrieve insurance information from new patients, ensuring we have accurate information. Additionally, Curve Dental feels more modern and up-to-date compared to what we used before, Eagle Soft. The initial setup of Curve Dental was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

sometimes Curve Capture needs to be restarted throughout the day

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve Dental makes navigating patient treatment easy, simplifies writing notes, speeds up collecting payments, and alerts us when a patient is overdue for cleaning or has past balances. It also checks insurance eligibility quickly.

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I find Curve Dental very efficient because it keeps everything in one place and has a spot for every component. I appreciate the date tracking and note templates features since they make it faster and easier to input notes, especially with templates. I also found the initial setup to be simple.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

less notifications, not easy to see bitewings 2 at a time, can be hard to move appointments around on the schedule due to how many people we have and the tiny bar to grasp with the mouse

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Curve Dental for scheduling, billing, and audits, keeping everything in one place and efficiency with date tracking and note templates. easy all on one filing system in general which makes day to day operations much quicker. preauth and billing viewing in progam is quick and efficient. customer support seems quick to respond to issues, updates and down time is limited generally

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

> Jenna, we are glad you find Curve an efficient tool for your office.

  ### 23. Effortless Online Access with Curve Dental

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorissa W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I love that I can access Curve Dental when I'm not in the office. The online access from anywhere is great, and I also love how easy it is to use. I've tried other practice management software, and Curve Dental was the easiest to learn. I also love the individual invoices per patient on a family account, which makes collections so much easier. The initial setup was very easy, and this software smoothens our workflow with its easy-to-understand interface.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

I wish that we could enter EFT numbers when we enter an EFT payment. Currently, you can only enter a check number when doing checks.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Curve Dental for online access and easy usability. It's the easiest practice management software I've used and makes patient invoicing efficient. It solves the problem of family statements and online access, which were issues with Dentrix.

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

  ### 24. Cloud-Based, Easy-to-Use Templates with Superb Customer Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jezette A. | Registered Dental Hygienist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

My favourite thing about Curve Dental is that it is cloud-based and allows us to create and customize templates for unique clinician utility on an easy-to-use interface with superb customer service support. Software runs smoothly and performs well with the integration of newer technologies such as AI.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

The one thing that I dislike Curve is that random disruptions do occur during the working day but I understand that these are unavoidable

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve solves the worry of thinking you're held back by dental software and is instead right there with you with whatever you want and need out of a software

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

> Jazette, thank you for your review. We try and make our system as usable as we can and feedback is a great way we get that input. Unfortunately some disruptions occur. We try to mitigate those as much as possible.

  ### 25. User-Friendly and Efficient, but e-Billing Issues Persist

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I like how Curve Dental is user-friendly and easy to navigate. Its checkout system is very organized, making it a quick and efficient way to check out our patients. The electronic insurance responses are also very helpful as they provide real-time responses most of the time. As a new hire, it was quite easy to learn and getting set up was quick and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

Sometimes Curve Dental's e-billing can be down, which forces our office to resort to manual claims. The number of times it has been down can be avoided, as there were times when we couldn't access the software due to these issues, making it difficult to view our patients' files.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve Dental makes it easy to organize and view patient profiles, streamline dental x-rays and charting. It's user-friendly and efficient for checkouts with helpful real-time electronic insurance responses.

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

> Ashley, we are glad you found it easy to learn and get set up in the system. We are working with CDA to verify and fix the issues with claim connectivity.

  ### 26. Comprehensive but Needs Stability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jackie J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I use Curve Dental for viewing and writing chart notes for patients and uploading diagnostic images like radiographs. I find it easy to access patient charts and assessment tools, and I appreciate that radiographs can be easily uploaded without needing extra processing. I like that the software is very comprehensive and detailed for all needs when charting for a patient. The booking systems and tags for identifying different appointments work especially well for us.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

Sometimes the website randomly crashes and slows down, and claims don't send. There are cases where charts and logging in are inaccessible, making it hard to provide proper treatment. I just wish for a more consistent, smooth running of the website.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve Dental provides easy access to patient charts and allows for easily uploading radiographs. It's comprehensive for charting and offers effective booking systems and appointment tags.

  ### 27. Comprehensive Solution with Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Soroush G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I use Curve Dental for our practice management, messaging, automated reminders, and imaging. It's an all-in-one solution that has helped us get out of the server business. I really like the user interface; it's very clean, easy to use, intuitive, and looks modern compared to our legacy software program.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

There are things about Curve Imaging that could be improved. I would like to be able to modify contrast and brightness by clicking, holding, and dragging on an x-ray like we used to do with Dexis program. Also, I would like a way to upload images from my phone directly to the patient's chart (via a QR code or something). It wasn't very easy to set up, it took a lot of time to get up and running.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve Dental is an all-in-one solution that helped us get out of the server business.

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

> Dr. Soroush, Thank you for your comments on how well Curve is working for you.
Thank you for the suggestions for improving our imaging portion.

  ### 28. User-Friendly Dental Management with Minor EDI Issues

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I like that Curve Dental is very user-friendly and super easy to use. It's super easy to train someone on using it. I also like the digital stuff online, as it makes everything efficient and accessible. It improves my workflow by making it more efficient, especially with taking notes since everything is right there. It's valuable to me because it saves time. Additionally, new hires find it easier to pick up on things and are very confident in using it by the end of a week.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

Sometimes it goes down often for sending electronic claims. It would be nice to be able to add in a super numerary team.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve Dental helps me efficiently book appointments and record notes, with everything easily accessible. It's user-friendly, making training new hires quick. However, it often has issues with sending EDI claims.

  ### 29. Streamlined Billing System, Effortless Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I absolutely love the invoice-based system over the ledger-based system. It's nice to be able to send payment requests via texts and email once claims are closed. It has also expedited our verification process, allowing us to immediately tell patients if they have a remaining balance and exactly where it is coming from. The initial setup of Curve Dental was super easy, which was a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

I wish that there was a way to show if a patient's insurance had been verified. I also wish that it immediately/automatically closed claims for you when you inputted the payment on the claims.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love the invoice-based system over the ledger system. Curve Dental helps send payment requests via texts and emails and expedites our verification process. It allows us to immediately tell patients their remaining balance once claims are closed.

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

  ### 30. Cloud-Based Convenience with a Billing Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lifetime Dental R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I find Curve Dental's cloud-based functionality incredibly helpful as it allows us to log in from any web browser, which is beneficial for managing multiple locations. I also appreciate its easy, clutter-free interface. The fact that it's cloud-based was a major factor in choosing it over previous software.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

The billing is confusing and very different than most dental practice management softwares which makes it a harder or longer learning curve for each team player. It is invoice based and you can have a credit and a balance at the same time. It is hard to read for the majority of the staff when they first learn about Curve Dental.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Curve Dental is our practice management system, allowing us to log in from any browser across multiple locations and is cloud-based with an easy interface.

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

> Thank you for your feedback. Invoice based billing is different from ledger based and some find it different than what they know. We hope the benefits of a more accurate real-time picture of your business profitablity over specific time periods helps offset these differences.

  ### 31. User-Friendly with Fast Scheduling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Silvia Lisseth C. | Voip Engineer L2 , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I find Curve Dental really user-friendly and appreciate how it's faster to schedule appointments and access patient information. I love that I don't need to navigate away from the current page—just hovering the mouse lets me see all a patient's details. It's also easier and faster compared to our previous software, Dentrix.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

I would say that will be fine to have an specific color for patients that I leave a note in their profile. I won't need to go and double click and check the note section. I would say intermediate because the courses were kind of hard to find and long but really interesting.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Curve Dental user-friendly, making rescheduling and gathering patient information quicker. It allows me to see appointment details without navigating to another page by simply hovering the mouse.

  ### 32. Time-Saving and Intuitive with Room for Improvement

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

I like that Curve Dental is easy to use and modify, allowing me to personalize it according to my needs. The software includes templates for dental hygiene notes, day-end reports, and daily schedules, which are really helpful. I appreciate that the types of appointments are color-coded, making them stand out and allowing me to quickly see what's booked at a glance, saving me time.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

Sometimes if the patient has several flags it makes it harder to pick and drag when it needs to be moved. Also , it does not automatically jump to the patient's recare due date, I think it used to.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Curve Dental for managing my dental hygiene schedules. It offers templates for notes and reports, saves time with color-coded appointments, and is easy to modify and personalize.

  ### 33. Easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Odette F. | Insurance Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2022

**Recommendations to others considering Curve Dental:**

Sign up for training classes for everybody. It will make using it even better

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have added a lot of new features like 2- way texting which has helped in communicating with patients making me more productive. We have seen more responses from our patients,

It would be really nice if it allowed for communication between users like a messaging portal. That would be a really helpful thing. It would also be really helpful if it could share portions of a chart with other types of providers at other practices not on Curve electronically. Especially images.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like how Curve Dental links patients to families, adds notes with pop-ups, and customizes appointments, & offers note templates making it user-friendly and fast to learn.

Very easy to use. It’s helpful for tracking who has checked out the patient and who entered payments. The notes section is well organized, and it’s also very easy to create templates.

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have asked support to support sending attachments in predeterminations but were told this was not a priority for them and there is no updated resolution. Curve has not solved this issue to date.

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

**What do you like best about Curve Dental?**

That I could access anywhere, at home or away travelling

**What do you dislike about Curve Dental?**

Sometimes when I'm going over medical history with my patient, response from custom questions that has been asked before doesn't get transferred over. Patients gets annoyed being asked if they are a smoker every single visit.

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There is colour code for tags so it's easier to identify and look up the tags when booking recare patients.
Also with recare reminders, patients get more reminder emails and might help with not losing patients

**What problems is Curve Dental solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The electronic pay system has been life changing. Sending a text and having the patient pay is amazing

**Official Response from Seth Foltz:**

> Sabrina, we have a spot to enter Maximum used outside of Curve Hero in the insurance for each patient. If you need help with that please call into Support so we can make sure your office can use it.
