The feature of Curve Community and all it has to offer is extremely impressive. To have a question that is easily researchable within our own system helps save time and energy. With our previous system, we had to connect to the messenger system that would take us to a browser when the practice management was software so we would leave the origin of the issue. If you could not respond fast enough, the chat would end and your questions would go unanswered. The fast responsiveness that the tech teams offer is one that cannot compare! To be able to pick up the phone if you have a more in depth question and have someone log right in to see what is going on is so relieving because you do not have to explain yourself, it is evident by the tech because they can see it too! This seriously makes the anxiety of not knowing about a feature much easier when you know someone is always there to assist you.
We are also very impressed by the simplicity of appointment making and editing. Many of the girls have no experience with treatment planning and scheduling so this makes the process very translatable for the Clinical to the Admin team. Creates less confusion end to end in the office so that there is no hard line between the front and back office.
The patient portal is something we are still working on getting set up with all patients; it has been easiest to do with new patients. But the features it offers where we can send them forms online and they have access to educational videos is something we have never been able to offer. Patients have already commented on how impressed they were with filling out forms online rather than wasting time writing down their medical history on paper when they arrive. This saves the office time and money as well.
When it comes to reporting - this is one of a kind. My office manager could not be more thrilled with the filtering and extremely specific data she is able to collect. This will help on an individual basis as well as the team as a whole. To offer graphs and charts that show our production, collection, and numerous other features is something that the whole team can get behind and see in a more colorful sense of where we are and where we need to go to increase productivity and profits.
The Dr has the ability to treatment plan in a fashion that is simple and structured according to the sequence of care he would perform. He is able to give direct instruction to the dental assistant for her to then record what series of steps the plan is going to go through.
In the treatment presentation process, it is seamless in the handoff from clinical to admin so that we can just print out the plan and go over the finances in an organized appointment fashion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
