## About Core dna
Core dna is a unified Digital Orchestration Platform that converges Hybrid Headless CMS, Ecommerce, and Enterprise AI into a single-tenant environment. Beyond traditional AI agents, core dna features a native Model Context Protocol (MCP) layer. This enables enterprise teams to create complex, multi-site workflows and digital experiences using natural language within a secure, governed environment. By embedding AI at the infrastructure level rather than through third-party plugins, core dna ensures that every autonomous action is grounded in your specific enterprise regulations, permissions, and user hierarchies. Core Capabilities for 2026 - MCP-Driven Workflow Creation: Use natural language to build and deploy enterprise-grade workflows. Because the platform natively supports MCP, AI agents can "discover" your custom entities and data structures (like ERP data or franchise logic) without manual mapping or custom development. - Autonomous Page & Experience Reconstitution: Our AI orchestration agent doesn't just translate text; it rebuilds entire page layouts component-by-component across 100+ languages. This process is fully governed, allowing for instant "staging" and human verification before launch. - Hybrid Headless with API Governance: Get the flexibility of a headless architecture with the stability of a managed SaaS. All functionality, from commerce and SEO to the MCP layer is native to the core dna stack, ensuring Upgrade-Preserved stability and eliminating the "plugin-break" cycle. - Enterprise-Ready AI Context: Unlike generic AI tools, core dna’s AI operates within your "Corporate Guardrails." It understands granular permissions, regional compliance, and brand standards, ensuring that AI-generated actions are always secure and compliant. Why Enterprise Teams Choose core dna 1. The End of "Plugin Anxiety": Most platforms (like WordPress or Shopify) rely on a fragile web of 3rd-party plugins. core dna is a Zero-Plugin platform. All features, including our advanced AI agents and MCP servers, are part of the core engine, meaning your site will never break during a platform update. 2. Natural Language Operations: Empower non-technical marketers and ecommerce managers to perform complex tasks, like "Create a regional promotion for all NYC stores with 10% off walnut furniture", directly through the MCP interface. The system handles the API calls, permission checks, and layout adjustments automatically. 3. Strategic Multi-Site Scaling: Orchestrate hundreds of sub-sites or franchise locations from a single master dashboard. Use AI to push global brand updates while allowing local agents to adapt pricing and content for specific regional markets.

## Core dna Reviews
 ### 1. Overall Experience Exceeds Expectations

I've been working with the Coredna team for many years and can honestly state that I have not experienced anything negative or to dislike.

**What problems is Core dna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With our recent CMS upgrade, the Core dna team were able to custom build us a platform that is meeting our everyday requirements. One of the biggest items they solved in the upgrade, was to add scheduling to specific components in our templates that weren't previously available. This allows us to work well in advance, schedule and forget!

 ### 2. Core dna really a cool cms

 ### 4. DXP Done Right

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Core dna?**

Core dna has quite a lot of features to it, probably too many. We were able to use their applications to build out a useful FAQ application for our sales staff and didn't need additional software to do it.

**What do you dislike about Core dna?**

Core dna needs to think about having more API end points open, i.e. to manipulate more of the user and group profiles from other apps. Also more event based triggers would be useful to connect it with other systems, like our Salesforce instance.

**Recommendations to others considering Core dna:**

Talk to their technical sales staff, and think about your information architecture as early as possible in the process. You may discover they have other useful functionality for your needs.

**What problems is Core dna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to have a solution to gather knowledge inside our organization and have it in a presentable and structured manner. Previously we used Google Drive and Dropbox but this wasn't scale-able, or brand-able. We also wanted the opportunity to open up parts of our system to partners in a partner portal.

 ### 5. Great platform for a developer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Core dna?**

The DXP platform is flexible and offers a wide range of tools and features. Content access permissions are super helpful when developing for select audiences or for testing purposes. The hooks feature offers event based actions which is great for third-party integrations, error reporting and ecommerce post-purchase events. Development on CoreDNA provides extensive classes and functions allowing you to easily create custom scripts and templates for all aspects of the site. The platform speed is also fantastic on both the front and back ends.

CoreDNA consistently releases platform updates and enhancements which is great as a developer looking for new features or improvements. Their customer support is extremely responsive and the dev team is super knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about Core dna?**

The attachments feature needs the ability to create attachment specific custom fields.

**What problems is Core dna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a creative digital agency, CoreDNA provides us with a vast set of tools, fantastic support and a super fast platform to solve our client's digital needs. By using CoreDNA we're able to be confident that our clients have a stable platform to grow and evolve.

 ### 6. Perfect CMS and Responsive Website!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Core dna?**

Our dedicated Core dna Account Manager who keeps us informed of the latest trends, updates and areas of improvement. Our Account Manager is always available and the support team implement every need of my business. The content management system delivers and it's very easy to navigate, with a little practise!

**What do you dislike about Core dna?**

There are a lot of features to the CMS that can take time getting your head around and learning. The team are very helpful though and are always only a phone call or email away.

**Recommendations to others considering Core dna:**

Do your research, ask questions and know what you want to achieve.

**What problems is Core dna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've had some API integration problems but the team were quick to come up with a resolution and have them implemented.

 ### 7. Simple for non-technical users

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Core dna?**

Core dna is easy to use, and you can get the hang of it even if you aren't familiar with using content management systems. I've used my fair share of content management systems (WordPress, Sitecore, Joomla, Shopify, etc), and I was impressed by the user-friendliness, as well as the speed of Core dna.

**What do you dislike about Core dna?**

The user interface isn't the prettiest on the market.

**Recommendations to others considering Core dna:**

Talk to their team, they're very friendly, and if they feel your project isn't a good fit, I get the impression that they'd make that clear instead of selling you a dream.

**What problems is Core dna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've used Core dna to help build a business website that showcases products and services. It helped when it came to structuring content, managing digital assets, managing a blog, and launching quickly. As a (relatively) non-technical person who's focused on content creation and presentation, I needed a few days to adjust, but once I learned my way around, I found it easy to use.

 ### 8. Responsive and accurate team with great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Core dna?**

Responsive and accurate team with great support. As we approached some critical holiday dates revolving around Cyber Monday, we needed an update to our commerce system that would allow us to implement a specific tactic for remarketing. The Core dna team nailed it. This is just one of many positive experiences with this team.

**What do you dislike about Core dna?**

There are a ton of features, if you truly want to leverage the full capabilities of the system it does take some time. To remedy this I have scheduled time to experiment with the system to dive deeper into areas of the platform I havent been exposed to yet.

**What problems is Core dna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The bridge between technical and marketing is always a puzzle. Being able to have a platform that has great capabilities for a marketer and the ability to expand those capabilities as needed has been very helpful in generating eCommerce revenue.

 ### 9. Best eCommerce platform out there.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Core dna?**

The flexibility and the willingness to meet our needs are astounding. The team at Core dna showed amazing customer service and ability in that they met the unique requirements of our sales portal and extended their system around our needs. None of the other vendors will talked to were able to or willing to do that.

**What do you dislike about Core dna?**

They have exceeded expectations. I have no complaints with Core dna.

**Recommendations to others considering Core dna:**

Don't look anywhere else!

**What problems is Core dna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Core dna has made our lives easier daily!

 ### 10. SAAS platform with customization and charismatic team at the root

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Core dna?**

The team at core dna cares. That's the root of it. If you don't succeed, they don't. Your deadlines are theirs and they aim to please. They are also regularly rolling out changes to help all accounts and what helps one helps all, as it should be. Their APIs and integrations have made rolling out international websites simple.

**What do you dislike about Core dna?**

Sometimes our close relationship with the team can get in the way, but it's what makes them feel like part of the business instead of just a company that just want to invoice us for hours worked and instead works with us to improve their platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Core dna:**

Consider your growth plans, ie if you will be working in multiple countries or you have multiple brands. Their Customer success staff can bring experience from other brands and industries and knowledgable in the space.

**What problems is Core dna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer need to have a Magento development team on retainer.

**Official Response from Paul Savage:**

> Thank you for taking the time to review Core dna. We are pleased that you feel we are an integral part of your business, and we hope that we can bring our expertise from what we see in the market to help you and all our customers.

 ### 11. User friendly and adaptable platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2018

**What do you like best about Core dna?**

The easy to use interface. Even if you have not used anything similar prior to using CoreDNA the site is easy to navigate and quite instinctual.

**What do you dislike about Core dna?**

The particular business requirements we had were quite unique and thus prevented some challenges with integration to backend systems. Some things are unnecessarily repetitive i.e. being booted back to page 1 each time you make a change to something and having to go back to the page you were working on each time you want to make an update to a product, login, discount etc.

**What problems is Core dna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have achieved a web service integration with our current systems eliminated manual entry by our Customer Service Team. This has also eliminated poor data quality and integrity from manual entry. We have been able to roll this solution out to our retail partners in store as a means of sales order entry and payment gateway which is replicated in our central data base. This solution also provides a means of communication on product, pricing, servicing and company information to our valued partners.

 ### 12. Excellent ecommerce platform with outstanding customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Core dna?**

The platform is very intuitive, easy to customize, and makes managing/reporting on multi-location sales and customer data simple. We can see sales and traffic data details at different levels with a few clicks and make important marketing decisions faster than we've ever been able to previously. The team at core dna really listened to our pain points and helped us implement solutions on their platform to address all our needs. They are fantastic to work with and they really care about the success of our business. You can't find that level of commitment anywhere.

**What do you dislike about Core dna?**

This platform solves some very frustrating problems we experienced from the larger enterprise platforms we've built on in the past. With so many features and configurations available, this platform is great for larger ecommerce sites (at a MUCH lower cost) but I think they could have another level available for startups or small ecomm sites that offers fewer features at a lower rate. We work with a mix of clientele and we would like to use core dna for some of our smaller clients as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Core dna:**

Evaluate with your 1 year goal in mind. They will likely exceed expectations on cost savings but if you plan multi-site growth, they should bubble to the top of your list for that as well.

**What problems is Core dna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multi-site content management, user roles and access levels, multi-store sales data (rollup or drill-down), real-time sales reporting to adjust marketing spend/strategy/creative.

 ### 13. Good product and great people

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Core dna?**

My company has been a Coredna user for 15 years so we have seen web 1.0, web 2.0 and whatever we are at now. The CMS is elegant and intuitive and the technical support is helpful and supportive.

**What do you dislike about Core dna?**

Some 3rd party API integrations can be difficult and costly to implement.

**What problems is Core dna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Logistics customer front end pricing and website integration to our SERP.
