"Effortless Collaboration and Organization in One Place"
What do you like best about Confluence?

What I like best about Confluence is how it brings all our project knowledge into one organized and collaborative space.

In my day-to-day work, I use Confluence to create and update documentation for QA processes, automation workflows, release notes, and sprint planning. The real-time collaboration feature makes it easy for teams to comment, review, and refine content without long email chains.

I also appreciate how smoothly it integrates with Jira. I can link user stories, test cases, and RCA pages directly to Jira issues, which helps keep both documentation and development work aligned. The templates—especially for meeting notes, project plans, and retrospectives—save a lot of time and help maintain consistency across teams.

Overall, Confluence makes it much easier to maintain clear, structured, and searchable documentation that everyone in the team can rely on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

While Confluence is very useful, there are a few areas that can be frustrating in day-to-day work. Page loading can slow down when spaces become large or contain heavy content. Formatting can also feel inconsistent at times, especially when editing complex tables or nested content.

Search results are not always precise, and finding older pages sometimes takes extra effort. Managing permissions at scale can also be confusing, particularly when multiple teams and spaces are involved.

These issues don’t block usage, but improving performance, search accuracy, and editing consistency would make the overall experience better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Documentation Core: Where Project Requirements and Code Specs Truly Live."
What do you like best about Confluence?

The single greatest benefit is the seamless, intelligent integration with Jira. Confluence acts as the required knowledge base layer for the entire Atlassian ecosystem. This allows us to link project requirements, design specifications, meeting notes, and technical documentation directly to the corresponding Jira Epics, Stories, and Tasks. The ability to embed live JIra dashboards and issue lists right into a Confluence page means our documentation stays "live" and reflects the current project status, eliminating the need to update status manually in two different places. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

The permission management system can be overly complex and confusing for non-administrators. Setting permissions for specific pages, ensuring permissions are correctly inherited, and troubleshooting access issues for new users often requires a deep into the settings, adding unnecessary administrative overhead. "Our team’s single source of truth"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence has become the central hub for our team's documentation and collaboration. I appreciate how simple it is to organize pages, link them, and maintain version control. The real-time editing and robust search features make locating information effortless. It's particularly useful for onboarding new team members, as they can easily access everything they need in one place without having to sift through countless Slack threads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

At times, the editor may feel somewhat sluggish when handling large pages or tables, and the formatting does not always respond as expected. Additionally, managing permissions could be more straightforward, especially for bigger teams. However, these are minor drawbacks when weighed against the significant time it saves us in sharing knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Team Collaboration and Productivity"
What do you like best about Confluence?

With the help of confluence we create platform for all of our business documents and project plans for its productivity and share it with our colleagues so that they can work on it make and make the plans and documents more efficient for our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

The platform is little complex and confusing for new users as for creating multiple pages at the same time and add macro and spaces on it, takes a lot of time and it needs to be done much carefully. Also there are limitations for editing same page in details which is not there in Ms Word. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Confluence Keeps Us Organized and Connected with Effortless Integration"
What do you like best about Confluence?

I love using Confluence as it makes easy to keep everything in one place. The implementation gets very easy and smooth thanks to the in built AI features . My team uses it for meeting notes, project plans, and documentation, and it is so much easier to find things now. The best part is that it connects perfectly with Jira, so I can link tasks in jira and confluence pages without switching tools. The editor is simple, even if you are not technical, you can create clean pages in minutes. It also has the search feature which gives results with few key words. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Everything about confluence is very smooth. The only part I believe can be improved is formatting as it gets a bit tricky sometimes when i add tables or images for HLD's or LLD's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"“Confluence Review: Great for Collaboration, but Takes Time to Master”"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence is generally considered user-friendly once you get used to its layout, though new users may find the interface slightly complex at first. Implementation is smooth for teams already using Atlassian tools like Jira, but it may take some setup time for those new to the platform. Customer support is reliable, with plenty of documentation and community resources, though response times can sometimes be slow. Most teams use Confluence daily as it becomes the main hub for documentation, meeting notes, and project updates. It offers a wide range of features—such as templates, version control, and real-time editing—making it powerful for collaboration, though it can feel a bit feature-heavy for smaller teams. Integration is one of its biggest strengths, working seamlessly with Jira, Trello, and many third-party apps, which helps teams streamline their workflows effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Some users find Confluence a bit overwhelming due to its many features and options, which can make navigation and setup confusing at first. The search function isn’t always accurate, making it harder to find specific pages or older documents quickly. Performance can slow down when handling large amounts of data or complex pages, affecting efficiency. Customer support, while helpful, can sometimes be slow to respond or lacks real-time assistance. Additionally, the pricing can become expensive as team size grows or when more add-ons are needed, which may not suit smaller organizations or those with limited budgets. "Empowers Team Collaboration and Streamlines Documentation"
What do you like best about Confluence?

As we belong from a service industry and conducting regular meetings and documenting it is one of our daily activities to run our business flawlessly. Confluence helps us in collaborative discussions and it also helps in reading and writing company's personal documents and data by all team leaders so that proper decisions can be taken for our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

One of the main limitation of Confluence is that it's pages cannot be designed or customised like MS word or notion because of its rigidity and fixed templates also if the team leaders does not maintain of it's pages properly then data and information becomes messy and quite difficult to understand. "Powerful Integration with JIRA and Excellent UX"
What do you like best about Confluence?

I love how easily Confluence integrates with JIRA, ensuring continuity and fluidity of ideas within the same ecosystem. Template management is vital for our workflow, allowing us to create processes and standards with reusable templates. The ability to share pages publicly is crucial, especially with clients, as we can adjust documents and they see the changes immediately. The export to PDF function is phenomenal, as we can apply CSS and share information with our company's branding. Additionally, I appreciate the excellent user experience that Confluence offers and its constant updates, which ensure that we are always using a modern and efficient platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

I would like the tables on Confluence pages to allow Excel-type formulas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Confluence Centralizes Everything—Finally Easy to Find What You Need"
What do you like best about Confluence?

What I like best is that it's the single source of truth for everything. We used to have docs scattered in Google Drive, SharePoint, and random folders. Now, if I need a policy, a meeting note, or a project spec, I know it's in Confluence, and the search actually works. It just makes finding info easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

The editor is infuriating sometimes. I spend way too much time wrestling with the formatting, especially if I'm trying to copy-paste anything. It feels clunky and slow compared to a simple doc editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Collaboration and Secure Knowledge Management with Confluence"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence makes it easy for our team to collaborate on documentation and knowledge management in real time. The integration with Jira streamlines our workflows, while customizable templates help us create project documents, meeting notes, and plans efficiently. Search functionality is robust, and I appreciate the ability to control permissions for different users, ensuring our sensitive data stays protected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

The editor can be a bit clunky when managing large documents, images, or embedded macros. As our usage has grown, it's sometimes difficult to keep pages organized, and the notification system can result in alert overload for small changes. Additionally, the pricing can become expensive as the team scales up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
