The plugin to add contacts through Linkedin Cognism into Salesforce makes it extremely easy for a user like me.

It is limited in certain regions like Oceania, most contact number and email addresses ae not available, and especially for the apparel retail or brand sectors, contacts are limited.

It helps with lead mining as its easier for me to gather bulk leads and retrieve their details.

It has an easy interface and pops up LinkedIn. It can be hidden and doesn't take up too much space. It connects with Salesforce, which is essential.

**What do you dislike about Cognism?**

The only thing might be that contact details aren't always updated to the latest role in case someone has changed roles within 3 months. It doesn't always happen, but I noticed it a few times.

Efficiency and contact sourcing. Saving time trying to find correct contacts so I can use my time better spent on calling or value driven work

It's a great tool for prospecting, organizing, and building your contact lists, whether by position or industry. Really easy to use for keeping track of outreach.

What I don’t love is that many times I’ve found the emails are just generated by AI or some other algorithm — and often they’re not real.

I'd say it's more accurate at getting someones work phone number as opposed to zoom info.  I often get people on their personal numbers on zoom info and they get angry.  

I absolutely love diamond verify.  Big big improvement in my call to meeting ratio.

**What do you dislike about Cognism?**

This is a tiny annoyance but when I load up a prospects Linkedin and click on the pop out banner, it sometimes takes a few seconds to load.  I wish it would load itself in the backround so it was ready instantly.  Reason being is sometimes you just need to phone a prospect really quickly, be it to remind them about a meeting or whatever it might be.  

Re diamond verify, it would be great if it verified more numbers .  I know of course that sometimes it's impossible, but given how I've had such success with the numbers that do get verified, the more the merrier.

Getting prospects phone numbers.  I honestly couldn't do my job (SDR) without it and that's a big plus.

There isn't anything we dislike about Cognism. However, we wish newer features that are trending in the data scraping tools tech space would be added to Cognism. I've seen waterfall enrichment being a big thing, and it would be amazing to see that be added to Cognism.

I like that I am able to find many important contact details and finding new leads. Also it is useful for finding out who is working on which position in companies that I am prospecting.

Smaller companies from Czech republic are sometimes not included, however big international companies are mostly there.

25 exports at a time is time-consuming
The filter logic sometimes is annoying. It seems to apply and AND logic rather than OR logic so for e.g. if you want to filter your list by mobiles or emails it'll do both emails AND Mobiles. So you then have to do 2 separate lists.

**What do you like best about Cognism?**

Cognism is a key piece in helping conduct new business expansion and growh plans but also drilling down into contacts that we identify with high intent and are likely to engage with our products and services. The interface is easy to navigate (the AI search piece reduces the admin in locating information) and the integration piece (along with creating 'lists') makes it easy to pull data out - and fast. 

Whether your fighting off data degredation, or sourcing key account information for a sales play, the tool is critical in any modern data strategy.

**What do you dislike about Cognism?**

Some functionality will require additional budget to access - but I find that, for the frequency of use (multiple touch points weekly) that we get the value from our current package.

**What problems is Cognism solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The major issue is combating data degredation - where data integrity and accuracy rapdily decays. But behind that: we use Cognism to solve gaps in account intelligence (i.e. how to find the right buyers in a wide pool of team members); it's also useful for understanding likeliness to engage. The team publishes a lot of content that's supportive - so there's plenty of thought leadership at your fingertips.

The Chrome extension that opens Cognism alongside LinkedIn is a huge productivity booster. It makes qualifying leads and accessing accurate contact details incredibly fast and efficient — no need to bounce between platforms.

Occasionally, the extension takes a second to load or needs a refresh, which can slightly interrupt the flow when moving quickly through profiles.

I love that the tool uses AI to simplify the research process. What used to take minutes to find the right information now only takes seconds. I’m really impressed by this, and the integration with Salesloft is fantastic, it’s seamless and easy to use

Since I started to use it, I have not encored any issue since the CS are always to help whenever you need help.

The use of the chrome extension is excellent. Makes it incredibly easy to find prospects numbers simply by going onto their linkedins. 

I love the integration with my salesloft CRM.

**What do you dislike about Cognism?**

The amount of incorrect mobile numbers has put a halt in my process many times. It will often be the case that another person of the same name answers but it is the incorrect person.

**What problems is Cognism solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without cognism and other platforms similar, cold calling salespeople would be consistently stuck at the reception phone. I can't imagine what I would do without it.

Poor contact info compared to Lusha, Poor Account Info compared to ZoomInfo, and even when there are contacts mapped, it lets us believe there is contact information, until we click the phone number or Email icon and it tells us there are none. This is misleading and a waste of time.
