This app pairs together coworkers on a regular basis, over a video chat and a cup of coffee, to have a one-on-one meetup. CoffeePals sets up matches between various teams to strengthen bonds and encourage greater cooperation. You can have mentors and mentees linked on a regular basis so that people can learn and progress inside the business. To take the edge off, you can improve the onboarding process for new workers and allow new hires to meet current staff. Using a dashboard with matching metrics and history to monitor how your workers are communicating with one another, you can understand how your teams and organization are connecting using this platform. Users also get CoffeePals bot that handles the cold introductions so you can concentrate on growing relationships. We find that a little goes a long way. I also love the Coffee Maker questions that make it easy to chat informally on Teams or Slack. The analytics are great for showing how much use we're getting out of our program so we can edit it as we need to in order to engage more of our employees to connect. When we moved from Teams to Slack, the Coffee Pals team went above andbeyond to help us- they made sure we didn't lose our data or matching history. **What do you dislike about CoffeePals?** If you need to reschedule the Coffee Chat in your own calendar, the Coffee Pals defaults to the "Universal Time Zone" **What problems is CoffeePals solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's hard to maintain casual connections and build social capital in a remote workplace. It is simple to set up all the configurations. With the ability to sync CoffeePals with Outlook Calendar, scheduling meetings is very easy as well! **What do you dislike about CoffeePals?** The CoffeePals bot notifications asking if you met with your match. It's been a great way to get employees to engage who wouldn't typically interact. The automated matching system streamlines the process, removing any admin work. It was easy to set up with Microsoft Teams and questions I had were promptly answered by the support team. **What do you dislike about CoffeePals?** The fixed weekly match frequency in the free plan feels too often for our small team. Having the option to adjust this feature without requiring an upgrade would be beneficial. The team have also found that they receive a lot of notifications, again the ability to change this in the free plan would be useful. **What problems is CoffeePals solving and how is that benefiting you?** This tool is perfect for creating connections among colleagues who might not often engage helping to foster a more cohesive work environment. ### 9. This tool is easy to use as it's part of the Microsoft Teams platform. It provides a good nudge to set up times to meet different people every month. It also sends helpful reminders and talking points. **What do you dislike about CoffeePals?** The one downside is there is no option to change frequency of matches with the free version eg the free version offers a weekly match but you have to pay if you want to decrease the frequency. This may discourage new users from trialling the product. **What problems is CoffeePals solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allowing better connection within the group which will ultimately lead to higher collaboration and effectiveness as a group. ### 10. I like the additional weekly question/icebreakers that are posted to bring further engagement. Easy to interact with the app/bot directly for individual enabling/disabling and adding to specific teams/channels. With our staff being spread out across multiple countries, and with increasing use of remote workforce, connection has been challenging. Coffee Pals has allowed us to integrate new hires and connect people who normally would not have the opportunity to meet. I really enjoy the ease of meeting scheduling and the fun conversation prompts in the group. It was so easy to set up and the support team has been so responsive. **What do you dislike about CoffeePals?** There are some really neat features not included in the free version. However, we have been using the free version for quite a few months and are having a blast with it.
