The API structure is exceptionally robust and clean. As a Data Engineer, I look for tools that can handle high-frequency automated text loops without constant connection drops. Clerk Chat integrates smoothly into our backend systems, allowing our platform to trigger direct messaging workflows and keep teams synchronized through a single, unified inbox easily.

**What do you dislike about Clerk Chat?**

The dashboard dashboard-management doesn't offer enough deep customization for multi-tenant account routing. While it works perfectly for standard communication pipelines, adding more granular filtering options to group message logs would save our engineering team a lot of manual sorting time.

**What problems is Clerk Chat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled to find a reliable way to incorporate direct SMS alerts into our existing data operations layer. Clerk Chat solved this by providing an out-of-the-box conversational pipeline that requires almost zero extra development time. The biggest benefit is having a stable text system that shortens our deployment cycles.

**What do you like best about Clerk Chat?**

The software has a robust structure capable of managing heavy text communications without major modifications to its APIs. In my role as a product manager, I am always looking for software that does not have any bugs and offers easy implementation time. It is efficient when communicating and aligns the entire team through a single inbox easily.

**What do you dislike about Clerk Chat?**

The internal dashboard management does not offer a lot of options in terms of customization for multi-tenant mapping. Although it works perfectly for regular messaging channels, having the ability to add grouping filters will be helpful in managing our daily operations effectively.

**What problems is Clerk Chat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem we had was finding a way of easily incorporating a texting feature within our product layers. Clerk Chat has solved this problem by providing us with a pre-configured conversational pipeline solution, which can integrate easily with our customer's accounts.The biggest benefit is having a conversational communication capability without having to go through additional development processes.

**What do you like best about Clerk Chat?**

We are able to communicate with technical decision-makers using instant messages on channels that they monitor instead of falling victim to the speed at which email gets lost amongst many emails. It is incredibly efficient to text inside of our account structure in order to send follow-ups and pricing synchronization.

**What do you dislike about Clerk Chat?**

While the templating system does work well for simple replies, I believe there needs to be a better system for complicated follow-up pipelines. The process of searching previous communications for attachment links takes far too long.

**What problems is Clerk Chat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Active deals within enterprises can suffer from email fatigue which can impede sales cycles of developer-oriented products. Clerk Chat solves this problem by building instant messaging capabilities which help align logistics, validate contracts, and streamline deals into smaller loops.

What stands out most is how AI is built into the core of the platform rather than added on as an afterthought. Features like smart routing and dynamic responses actually feel useful in real conversation, not forced. I also like the context memory, it can pick up on past interactions.

The platform offers a lot of features, which can make the initial setup feel a bit overwhelming. it takes some time to get everything properly configured. however, once it's set up, the system runs smoothly and becomes much easier to manage.

**What do you like best about Clerk Chat?**

I like the portal and how user-friendly the interface is. Minimal training is necessary to understand the app and all of its functions. The AI features are all very useful as well. We integrate Clerk Chat with Webex for our business model and it works incredibly well as a combined service. The initial setup was very simple and including new organizations is incredibly easy. Any questions we have are usually answered rather quickly by the support team.

**What do you dislike about Clerk Chat?**

Sometimes the analytics functions can be buggy or not provide all of the info I am looking for, so more input from the customer side on necessary or wanted analytics could be helpful.

Clerk Chat provides a texting solution for my customers, adding features like appointment scheduling and campaign reach, which our service couldn't do with calls alone.

We were really out of shape beforehand. Unanswered messages, unanswered calls. The AI of Clerk Chat continues to handle patients who contacted us previously via calls or texts. What's fascinating about the memory is how it captures the context of a phone conversation whenever the patients text you back later on.

It took some days to establish an AI tone in the healthcare industry, but no worries.

We tried 3 other platforms before this. Clerk is the only one where the AI doesn't sound like a robot reading a script. It remembers what customers said in previous conversations and picks up right where things left off. The RCS support is a bonus - our messages look branded and professional now.

I want more CRM integrations beyond HubSpot and Salesforce. API works fine for now though.

**What do you like best about Clerk Chat?**

I love that it is integrated with teams- this makes it easy to install by just having teams on the computer. It has a campaign feature which is great for large lists. It's used everyday by our organization to reach out - folks just don't pickup the phone anymore and texts are much more reliable to get ahold of people.

**What do you dislike about Clerk Chat?**

Their support is lackluster and often folks have heavy accents. Features keep changing without our knowledge. We signed an original contract and they have changed the things that are included with it. We started out with having reporting and logs, and they took that away. We were running out of texts when we first started, and it was incredibly hard to get ahold of a team that would help us. We finally got the right number of texts and haven't gone over the limit, but now they say without an unlimited plan we can no longer utilize the campaign texting, which is one of the biggest "features" of clerk chat we got it for. It also took a very long time with many back and for emails to implement the 10DLC requirements and it caused our clerk chat to have an outage for over a week. We had an MSP assist us in integration initially.

It can send text messages to customers. We use this in several departments for communication regarding events, campaigns, early bird, membership etc.

**What do you like best about Clerk Chat?**

The Clerk Chat UI, as it presents in Teams, is excellent. And the integration in the Teams admin center makes the initial onboarding sensible and straightforward.
Because we have local area code phone numbers for our Teams Phone users, Clerk Chat was the natural choice for SMS. 
The pricing works out as well, given that Clerk Chat uses a standard Teams phone license. 
And finally, we have a friction-free path for SMS archiving in Purview.

**What do you dislike about Clerk Chat?**

The 10DLC submission and acceptance process was painful. But compared to Microsoft's proprietary Teams SMS and its absurdly non-responsive "Telephone Number Services Team," Clerk Chat's support was attentive and helpful. Fingers crossed our 10DLC status will remain in service without further effort.

I find Clerk Chat easy to use, which helps us manage SMS messaging effortlessly. It's particularly useful for sending messages through text to our team members who are in the US while we work remotely from abroad.

**What do you dislike about Clerk Chat?**

The support, I suggest they have a live chat support. Support usually takes 3-5 business days before they fix an issue. Add the billing details on dashboard because we couldn't see it right now. It's hard on my end since I am not a US citizen and not familiar with US regulations about SMS.

Clerk Chat helps us use a US phone number for SMS while working remotely from abroad, and it's easy to send messages to our US-based team.

We got burned by AI tools before. Overpromised and underdelivered. Clerk Chat worked out of the box. Trained the AI once and it's been solid ever since.

Some customization still needs their support team. Not fully self-serve yet.

Wholesale distributor. Vendor and client messages during peak season were a nightmare. AI handles initial outreach now.

**What do you like best about Clerk Chat?**

This software is very easy to use, and I never experience any problems with loading it. I also really appreciate being able to create custom signatures and use texting templates.

**What do you dislike about Clerk Chat?**

This platform does not offer full HIPAA compliance, as it permits patients to access text messages without first confirming their identity. Additionally, I have noticed that there are a lot of spam messages.

I appreciate how easy it is to use, as well as the convenience of being able to view my messages on both my computer and my phone. I also like that I can create custom signatures.

I've used Clerk Chat for about 1 year and have had a great experience with them. It's easy to use once it's all set up and the notifications come right into Teams. I've reached out to customer support a couple of times and have amazing experiences with them.

The first steps were a bit complicated for us. It took a bit to understand what was happening. We were very new to SMS outside of our phones though.

Clerk Chat has transformed our external communication. The integration with Teams is flawless and we haven't had any complaints. We just got done with some big upgrades to our account and I can't say enough about how positive the experience was. Every person I interacted with on their staff (real humans the entire time!!!) was polite, proactive, and made sure all of my questions were answered.

Some communication took awhile, but I'm perfectly happy waiting another hour or two for an email when I know it isn't coming from an AI agent.

I have a non profit company, but also work a job during the day. Clerk Chat enables people to inquire about what my program is about, how to sign up, and the time and day of the program. All this unmonitored.  I simply check the messages in the evening and answer the one offs. Sending campaign has greatly improved my efficiency. The program is 12 weeks long and schedule the reminder messages to occur the same time each week. Next step will be personalizing response.

The help short videos don't always work for a novice like my self. They are short and leave you with more questions than answers.

Clerk Chat is a friendly solution, a full scale deployment without hassle, it's a all in one package that can be easily deployed for any type of customer. 

In the 21st century, not everybody will send an email and wait for a day or a few days or response, neither will everybody take all their time to stay in a call in queue longer than what the request requires, being able to text with the business number 10 DLC is a game changer, there is really no additional requirement. 

The notion of list, shared inbox, campaign, is a very efficient way for end user to text and handle their exchange. 
The automation powered by AI that combines workflow and flow are a proof of the of one of the smart capability that Clerk Chat offers. 
The API integration constantly in progress, being able to synchronize all contacts from such a various numbers of CRM and platforms is one of the example of friendly solution that Clerk Chat is. 

On top of it, I can say that the solution didn't deceive mostly because of the future options that Clerk Chat behold. The team keeps listening to his partners and customers and often add the improvment required and requested. This simply shows how the solution is customer oriented.

**What do you dislike about Clerk Chat?**

I would say that the only negative point currently with Clerk Chat would be in the miscelleanous side, there is still some missing logs or some missing functions that could help partners and customer tracks things or handle some business management task. 

For example if a message sent out is failed or if a message sent in is failed, there should be logs for the us to be able to investigate on the reason of it. 
For example if a workflow has been created by any member, an admin or workspace owner should have more view to see who created it and should have the right to remove it.

The simple ability to have business texting with a restriction of carrier or compatible application.

**What do you like best about Clerk Chat?**

It's easy for my team to manage shared inbound SMS to our main tech support line, as well as to manage their own messages. We even have it setup for AI auto-replies in case we can't respond fast enough to an inbound message. At this point we're sending and receiving business SMS daily so it's indispensable. We can easily get to the messages in Microsoft Teams and have it setup to send email alerts if we miss a SMS. All our interactions with their customer support team have been great and we even got to preview some of their upgraded AI features.

**What do you dislike about Clerk Chat?**

Sometimes Teams can be cagey about sending over notifications when we get messages. We've gotten around that by setting up auto-responses and adding in email alerts in case there's a hiccup. It's fairly rare that happens, but one time we missed our messages all day because Teams was acting weird. I think it might actually be a Teams side issue though and not Clerk Chat.

We're able to communicate with our customers via SMS without giving away our personal cellphone numbers. We can also send out mass SMS messages if we're running a special or just as a holiday message to our clients.

Clerk has a great, easy to use interface, frequent improvements and updates, and is great for both power users and people who barely know how to use a computer. 

Their pricing model is, in my opinion, the best option for small-to-medium business available on the market currently. Where most competitors want to charge on a per message basis, Clerk has a fixed price per user for a fully featured messaging service that doesn't force you to count every single message you send and receive.

**What do you dislike about Clerk Chat?**

I don't really have anything negative to say. 

Like any service, there have been hiccups here and there, but our down time has been measured in minutes - not hours. Clerk has better uptime than some Microsoft services - and far better technical documentation.

**What problems is Clerk Chat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our industry requires the ability to quickly provide information to clients. Most people prefer a text message to a phone call these days, and Clerk allows us to meet customers where they are. 

Scheduling for our crews to perform work on job sites has gone from a process that takes all day, to a process that's done by the time we finish our morning coffee.

Clerk sometimes does what it is supposed to, but overall it lacks a friendly user design.

The service was mediocre at best, and the support team was slow to resolve issues. Clerk doesn’t provide pro-rated refunds for annual plans, which is a big downside. I’d recommend skipping this one and choosing a more accommodating option instead.

My company uses the services 24/7. We support hundreds of customers and need to have a safe, reliable way to get 2FA codes from hundreds of institutues (think thousands per month through over a dozen numbers). I have been using Clerk.chat for over a year, no issues or concerns.

I do not have any. Anytime there were any issues or concerns, support or management addressed immediatly.

I do not use for SMS Marketing, just the only choice I had:

I do 2FA Codes, thousands of them. My company is in the financial arena and supports over 400 small companies. My teams depend on accessing several hundred differant banks, supply, sellers daily to get information.I have a clean admin console combined with great workflow to forward my messages to our mail system

Microsoft Voice not supporting text messages is a big pain.  Clerk Chat fixes that with simple and reasonably priced integrations.  And their customer support is incredibly responsive.

I'd love for them to offer a secure text option for HIPAA clients

Clients were trying to text our business number and it just disappeared into nowhere.  They didn't know we couldn't get texts and got no response.  Now they can text us and get a response! and our staff can stay in Microsoft Teams where they do everything else
