What do you like best about Claap?

Claap makes it incredibly easy to record, organize, and share video updates or walkthroughs. The interface is clean and intuitive, so there’s almost no learning curve. I especially like how you can add comments directly on specific timestamps in a video—it makes collaboration more interactive and saves time compared to back-and-forth chats. For remote or async teams, it’s a great way to keep everyone aligned without adding more meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claap?

Overall, Claap works really well for our needs, but I’d love to see more integrations with other project management tools we use. Also, having a few more customization options for video playback and organization would make it even more powerful. These aren’t deal-breakers, just nice-to-have improvements. What problems is Claap solving and how is that benefiting you?

Claap has helped our team cut down on unnecessary meetings by allowing us to share updates, demos, and feedback asynchronously. Instead of scheduling multiple calls, we can simply record a short video, share it with the team, and get time-stamped comments for quick input. This has improved our productivity, especially with remote team members in different time zones, and ensures that important information is documented and easily accessible later. "Extremely Frustrated and Deeply Concerned"

What do you like best about Claap?

What do you dislike about Claap?

I am extremely frustrated and deeply concerned about this software. I never signed up for the service, yet simply looking into their system caused their recording function to activate automatically during all of my meetings.

I contacted their team three separate times, and was assured by a representative that everything had been deleted from their system and that the issue would not occur again. Despite this, the tool started up once more during an important business meeting, forcing me to close the session.

Even worse, their system sent an email to every single participant in my meeting without my consent. This is completely unacceptable, an invasion of privacy, and a potential violation of data protection regulations (GDPR).

This software is not only unreliable but also poses a serious risk to business operations and data security. If you value your privacy and the confidentiality of your meetings, I strongly recommend avoiding this tool altogether. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
