"CiraSync goes above and beyond"

What do you like best?

Other than their impressive technical skills, overall the best part is their personal one on one service. It has been outstanding. I feel I have gotten to know their staff very well and they go out of their way to find out answers and get the desired results achieved. I have dealt with a lot of tech support and customer service and these guys blow all others out of the water, they are 5 star plus. I am very impressed and so is the owner of our business.

What do you dislike?

That more companies do not have the same customer focus and satisfaction level.

Syncing contacts has been a major issue for us as we have most of our workers out in the field and we have to have easy access across ios, android and mac and windows based tech, and they have helped us achieve the desired results for our small 7 staff company that had microsoft, apple and godaddy stumped. The benefits of their one on one support and keeping in great contact with ph calls and zoom meetings is phenomenal. No quick emails or being passed between people. They got to know our issues and made sure to do all the could to resolve them, with us.

"CiraSync is functionality that 0365 should have built in"

What do you like best?

We struggled for years to be able to get contacts to endusers's mobile devices. We had a person that it was literally part of their job duties to maintain CSVs for all employees and import them to the mailboxes so they would appear in their mobile contacts. And if one changed they would either need to update all the users mailboxes or communicate the change to the end users. A complete waste of time. CiraSync eliminated the need your this useless work and mad it very simple to maintain accurate and up-to-date contacts on ALL mobile devices.

What do you dislike?

The interface and method by which you get all this really awesome functionality to work is less than intuitive. W have had it almost a year now and on the rare occasions I go back in to make adjustments it always stakes ma a while to remember how to do things in there.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This software is one of those "best things since sliced bread" applications. We have eliminated probably 12-25 hours a month of somebody doing busy work maintaining contacts to push out to mobile devices so they can focus on things that actually, you know, make money.

"easy to configure and to lunch"

What do you like best?

Have the contacts of a Global Adress list on your iPhone.

Easy to configure, to maintain and quick deployement for all users of a company.

You define what you want to sync, who are the users concerned by synchronisation and CiraSync to all the job automaticaly.

Possibility to put licence automaticaly from a simple distribution list.

What do you dislike?

Recurring price per user is too high.

Not great possibilites on filters for include or exclude people of a collection. Obliged to maintain certain list of exclusion manualy for excluding fax or rooms contacts for example.

Some inxeplicable bugs: example a new people in company giving back the mobile number of another people who is living the company. When someone call the new person the name displayed on the screen of iPhone was the name of the old person. We have been obliged to purge the old contact manualy in the Mailbox of all our users to make it disappear.

At the start we used the default all mailboxes collections which include invited users (for SharePoint sharing file sharing for example). So if you have Office 365 like us you can't use this default collection or you will be obliged to exclude periodicaly the invited users of the list.

If you are tired of waiting about Microsoft and Apple about syncing Global adress list on iPhone it is the product you need

"Excellent product that delivers exactly what it's supposed to."

What do you like best?

CiraSync is quick and easy to set up and get running. Runs as it should with little to no intervention. Does exactly what we need it to do and what we purchased it for. Best software purchase we've made in a long time.

What do you dislike?

The only issue I have with CiraSync is that the Sync Photo and Update Cache check boxes do not persist. But I'm guessing this is by design and think that the scheduled sync is doing these functions.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you use Office 365 and need to sync Mail, Calendar, Notes or Contacts to users, this is the best software to get that done, efficiently and affordably.

We had previously spent a large sum of money for a custom app to connect to Office 365 and provide a contacts list to our iPhone users. That app was clumsy, costly and required a lot of manual attention, definitely not a set and forget solution. We wanted/needed a solution that would push out a contact list to all of our iPhone users after moving to Office 365. CiraSync does this and a lot more. The benefits are that we have a standardized contact list that all users have access to and can be pushed out to our iPhone users.

"Easy to use and seamless!"

What do you like best?

Exchange integration is super nice, I am not manually adding each new employee. Having rules for each group is nice, that way contacts are divvied up for each department. The real time sync status on the front page is beneficial to our team, we can watch it and make sure our new employees are getting contacts synced when we are troubleshooting. Cirasync does an amazing job with their dashboard, the analytics, license renewal and license number, all critical information, is all on the front page!

What do you dislike?

Licensing can be difficult, when users get added, sometimes they will not be licensed due to running out, it would be nice to get an alert when a user is added but not licensed. Having a contact sync happen hourly instead of daily would be nice for some of our users.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Do it, it will make life easier for you and your users. Take the time to set up groups in exchange, that way, your teams will get the proper contacts depending on their department and title.

"Best solution out there for Synchronizing"

What do you like best?

Very easy to use and it just works. All of our team members around the company have updated information every day.

What do you dislike?

Bit of a learning curve for non-standard setups but the support team is quick to respond with comprehensive help.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

We evaluated several solutions to synchronize our contacts and simple lookup was not good enough.

CiraSync is able to do that in a way that none of the others could do for us. No additional software required and our team members out in the field don't need to do anything for it to work for them. How much easier can it get?

We are a growing company with team members coming and going, keeping everyone up to date will the latest names and phone numbers is hard. CiraSync solves that for us in a way that works for all of our phones, all of the information is updated daily!

"Worth Every Penny!"

What do you like best?

CiraSync has been one of the most reliable products we have invested in. We went from including a second email account on every mobile device to sync the contacts to a set it and forget it method. I couldn't imagine ever going back to what we had.

What do you dislike?

In my experience of using CiraSync for 9 months, I have yet to experience anything I dislike. It accomplishes everything that we need to sync our contacts and calendars..

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are using a method of manually adding contacts, do yourself a favor and invest in this software immediately. The amount of time and headaches it will save you will blow you away.

We are solving confusion we used to have of the wrong contact name being tied to a number in an employee's phone. Phone numbers no longer have to be saved to devices which saves time and headaches.

"Ease of use with great support when needed"

What do you like best?

how is works with Microsoft 365 portal and links with an admin account. this makes the setup and deployment very easy.

What do you dislike?

it would be nice to have a setting to sync both ways if you wanted to. I had to create documentation and a Video clip showing a client that they needed to edit the Public Folder as this is what gets pushed to all users. some of the users had not used Public folders before.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The goal was to cleanup a clients contacts and get them in one centralized location. Once this was done CiraSync solved the problem of pushing it out to phones and outlook so users don't miss a call from a client because they don't have their contact in their phone.

"Perfect Solution in a mobile device-driven world"

What do you like best?

Corporate syncing of Exchange Server contents to our users iPhone and iPad devices for calendar and contacts. It has saved a lot of hassle to manage what should be an easy solution for Microsoft, but they don't handle it at all.

What do you dislike?

One small issue that I think they are working on... Syncing just one component of the data we sync. Sometimes we need to push out just a calendar update to the organization, and not a full contact update sync..

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Consider acquiring licenses up front and not adding on as you go, the renewal schedule cycle doesn't appear to be easy to sync.

Managing single source for contacts, sharing Out of Office and Corporate Calendar events without too much hassle for support staff maintenance.

"Contact syncing made easy"

What do you like best?

The ability to get contacts where and how I need them. CiraSync offers a centralized service to manage contacts for all my users in one interface.It also offers the ability to sync contacts with only certain groups or even individual users.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I dislike is not having the ability for MFA. In a security conscious world, I hope this feature is coming.

Use this product if you're looking for an easy to implement solution for syncing contacts to user accounts without any front end presence being required.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our biggest issue was not having the contacts in our GAL accessible to everyone on their phones. CiraSync made this an almost effortless process and the results have been fantastic. We can created groups of contacts for users in the different departments of our organization without any involvement on their part. Additionally, the . resources and support provided by the support staff were already phenomenal even in the early stages on trial and implementation.

"Easy to deploy and manage"

What do you like best?

Very easy to share public folder content to mobile devices in a streamlined interface that makes a lot of sense.

What do you dislike?

I haven't seen a way to turn on auto-renewal. I always have to enter credit card info each renewal period.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Sync public folder contact lists to mobile devices. We mainly only license upper level execs - their assistants or other employees update the contact lists within the public folders which then syncs via CiraSync to a folder in their local mailbox, which then is accessible on their phones and mobile devices just like any other regular contact list the user has.

"Team Calendar bliss"

What do you like best?

Being able to have all of our employees be able to view meeting spaces while out in the field on their phones has made a huge difference in our scheduling of spaces. Excellent!

What do you dislike?

Setting up calendars was a bit difficult but support team was there to walk me through it completely. I was up and running in no time!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Before CiraSync there could be a decently long lag time in setting time in shared spaces, we now more efficiently set appointments for shared spaces.

"Successful testing before implementation"

What do you like best?

- Interface is easy to understand and manage

- Sync groups easy adjustable

- Synchronization works as promised, all required fields are syncing

- Office 365 pictures included in the sync, which was important for the client

- The solution significantly simplifies contact management for the client

What do you dislike?

- This is not directly related to CiraSync, but on some mobile phones (mostly Huawei), we had to add Office account manually, and push sync. Outlook contact sync option did not work.

- I think there can be more than one automatic sync a day by default.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Company has 80+ users and growing. Users need to have all internal contacts on their mobile devices. Office admin manages this manually, using vcards, which worked on initial stages, but not now. Plus, there are intermittent conflicts between vcards and GAL on mobile devices and PCs.

On the current stage of the project, we tested and confirmed that with CiraSync management of GAL contacts on mobile devices will be seamless, just add\modify user in AD and this is it.

Company management is now considering one year subscription.

Once you get through the learning curve how to configure the interface, no issues

" If you are tired of waiting on Microsoft to handle syncing GAL on iPhone, get CiraSync!"

What do you like best?

Easy to set up and implement in a Production use case. Software is simple to use, and can be rolled out across AD groups or users in one shot, drastically reducing lead time to market with the product. The software has been virtually hands-off since since it was installed, and we now have daily reporting and metrics available.

What do you dislike?

The interface for the calendar sync is a bit confusing and not as clear in terms of use and results as the contact sync was. I wish we could sync the contents of one calednar into the contents of another existing calendar without having to introduce a third new shared calendar. We use the GAL sync daily for sure, but the calendar sync is still a work in progress for complete end-user adoption. I think the calendar feature should have the ability to merge multiple calendar types into merged view. For example, it should allow you to take a iCal and shared exchange calendar (public folder) and merge them together. But, our users want that iCal data to live inside of the exchange calendar, not just be merged into a new calendar.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Get this software right away to handle GAL/address book syncing from Exchange to Iphones and Android devices. This tool takes less than 1 hour to set up for numerous users, and then is completely hands-off from there forward.

Syncing GAL to all mobile devices in a company so users have consistent contact information available on their mobile devices. We want to ensure that shared calendars are also kept in sync, but we are haven't fully implemented that feature yet.

"Very practice"

What do you like best?

I like to have only one place to maintain for our enterprise contact. With the AD sync, everyone is up to date each day at the office and also for the cell user. We save a lot of time every day.

What do you dislike?

Nothing special. All functionality are great for us.

"Easy and powerful!"

What do you like best?

It is very easy to use, when the setup is done you almost forget that you are using the software.

What do you dislike?

I´m missing some fields that I want be able to sync (like IP phone)

"Quit waiting for Microsoft to give you contact syncing"

What do you like best?

Ability to sync contacts cross platform and have all of our work phones synced with new contacts on a schedule based on active directory attributes.

What do you dislike?

A desktop app would serve us well, however the browser does allow for easy management.

Our company has saved a good amount of time by relying on cirasync to handle contact sync and this is no longer a manual process.

"Great solution for contact syncing"

What do you like best?

CiraSync's ease of use is great. As an administrator, I only had to set it and forget it. I am able to set sync schedules and get alerts when LDAP messes up.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I would add to CiraSync is more granularity in controls. Sometimes there are specific fields for contacts I'd like to not include in the sync but I'm unable to determine them.

"CiraSync Synching Multiple Public Folders"

What do you like best?

The ease of use and ability to begin syncs quickly was impressive. We used a competitive product that required significant setup, involvement of vendor support, and regular maintenance to work. CiraSync has worked wonderfully since the day we started.

What do you dislike?

Their nomenclature for certain features required us to actually read some of the documentation.

We have multiple public folders containing a total of several thousand contacts. Different groups in the company need different combinations of these lists made available in their Office 365 Outlook and on their cell phones plus receiving updates to the global address list.

"Great solution to a long-running problem!"

What do you like best?

It was very simple to get up and running, and the 30 trial was wonderful!

I wish I had found the product sooner!

The functionality of CiraSync should be built in to O365 by default. Pushing contacts via Exchange server is a no brainer, and CiraSync makes this a breeze!

"Works very well"

What do you like best?

That the app works with little babysitting needed.

What do you dislike?

I don't dislike anything but apparently i have to type 40 characters anyways.

"Almost maintains itself"

What do you like best?

its main function is to get all our global contacts and addresses of the offices to every techs phone. Works really well, rarely log in as its self maintained in AD.

What do you dislike?

I bit confusing to set up, but after a few try's we got it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were using a shared contact list that everyone had write access to. This caused issues as people kept putting their contacts in the company directory. We would have 10 different "mom" contacts in there. Was just a mass confusion.

"Brilliant Product"

What do you like best?

I love knowing who in my organization is calling me! People who I rarely speak to call me and I answer saying 'Hello [firstname]" and they are surprised and delighted I have their number saved on my phone!

What do you dislike?

It's all good! In the day of random cold callers, this product really improves the ability for a call to a colleague's mobile device to be answered by them - especially when you need it most.

Improved calls being answered - reducing phone ping-pong.
