"All-in-One Signage, Employee App, and Desk Booking That Just Works"
5/5
What do you like best about Appspace?

Mainly because it’s more than just digital signage (it does that too) – I’m getting signage, an employee app, and room/desk booking capabilities for my employees under one software license, rather than having to purchase 3 separate solutions. When I send out announcements, I don’t have to send them to multiple platforms; I can send one announcement to a single screen, a whole building/location, or just to one specific department. The employee app will show company-wide news and allow employees to book a space from their mobile device regardless if they’re physically at the office or working remotely. Works as expected. Glad I didn’t make this into a project every time I added another screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appspace?

The biggest complaint is there was definitely a learning curve with the system. Although setting up wasn’t “crazy”, once you’ve completed your first round through the system, there are numerous features that aren’t immediately apparent and you’ll need to search for them. Since pricing is quote-based, I couldn’t find the price without reaching out to Appspace. Occasionally, I notice that the screens become desynchronized, especially when it’s the only screen someone sees throughout the entire day. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen much success with their new AI Summary feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Appspace Makes Digital Signage and Desk Reservations Fast and Effortless"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Appspace?

Appspace is the thing that really works for me. The screens are a great feature. Prior to using Appspace we had six tvs (with USB sticks) running in the lobby, break area and hallways outside our large conference room. Every day someone would come in and decide what should run on each TV. With Appspace i can open up the admin page from my couch at 9 pm, upload an image to one channel, click “publish,” and by morning time all six tvs will have that image displayed. The desk reservation part of Appspace is good too, as i can pull up the map, see where my team members generally sit, and claim a desk before going to sleep. All of this takes less than 10 seconds and has worked for me so far (which is all i ask). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appspace?

After making two phone calls before being able to explain how much we’d actually be paying per month, this confused me more than i was frustrated with the actual amount. The administrator side of Appspace is heavy as well. half the configuration options require clicking through three layers, and nothing allows you to perform batch edits, so if you wanted to change the footer of 40 slides you’ll need to make those changes 40 separate times – just like it’s 2009. "Appspace Makes Desk Booking Easy with an Intuitive Visual Floor Plan"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Appspace?

I love the visual floor plan of the entire office that appspace offers. It allows you to simply touch a desk & it will turn green & you'll know that it's available. I can actually see where my manager & my coworker/bestie are sitting prior to walking into the building. The app connects directly with my outlook calendar. So, i can simply pick my spot & it syncs with the calendar automatically. Glad i don't have to walk around the floor trying to locate an empty seat anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appspace?

Hate how often it forces you to check-in once you're inside a conference/meeting room. Even if you've forgotten to hit the "checkin" button, the room instantly becomes available again to everyone else...even though you're physically sitting right in the middle of a meeting. It continues to ping me even after i've sat down at my reserved desk. Wish we could customize the layout of the map ourselves without submitting a helpdesk ticket. "Easy Room Booking and Centralized Corporate Info with Appspace"
4/5
What do you like best about Appspace?

Appspace does work pretty well. I am able to book a room for Tuesday by tapping the screen. The new system has made it easier to find an available meeting room. Before we would contact our administrative assistant to reserve a room which could take days or weeks to hear back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appspace?

The update with the wall bar was nice. It's good that all the corporate information is in one spot so I don't have to spend as much time checking my email. The only things I don't care for is they add so many extra bells & whistles each month. The navigation is getting very confusing now. The building layout sometimes takes a long time to load when I'm just looking for a seat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Appspace Keeps Company Info Centralized and Easy to Access"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Appspace?

The only good thing I can say about appspace is the fact that it has made it easy to find all of our company information in one place, rather than digging through an endless amount of mail to find a simple document (i.e. Policy) or reading announcements. It does work well. Polls may be created and results obtained quickly, with no need to create another application. As far as basic work applications go, I like that I don’t have to rely on numerous tools to accomplish my job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appspace?

When I'm looking for the link to our pay slip portal I'll enter "link" or "pay slip portal" and receive a lengthy description of how to access the site as opposed to receiving the actual link. Also it's far too many steps to navigate through large amounts of data on one screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Consistent Multi-Site Safety Messaging, with Hardware and Approval Gaps"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Appspace?

I like Appspace’s multi-site content distribution with local override. Corporate HSE messaging reaches every site consistently, while site-specific operational updates can be published locally without going through head office. That balance matters because site conditions differ meaningfully across our portfolio. I also use Appspace to get safety alerts and incident learnings onto screens across sites, so a lesson from Monday can be visible to every crew by Monday afternoon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appspace?

I find hardware durability in industrial environments a constant issue. The software itself works well, but deploying it at refineries and offshore sites takes careful hardware selection and ongoing maintenance, which the vendor doesn’t fully address. I’d like clearer guidance and more partnership for ruggedized deployments. Content approvals across HSE, operations, and corporate are also complex. Different content needs different approval chains, and the tools weren’t designed for the multi-stakeholder governance heavy industry requires. I’d like more flexible approval routing. Deployment also took close to four months, with much of the work going into coordinating hardware procurement, agreeing on content governance, and training site coordinators. "Keeps Guests Informed Across Venues, but Quick Updates Take Too Many Clicks"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Appspace?

I like that I can push schedule changes to all venue screens at once, so everyone gets the same information and I get fewer repetitive questions at the desk. The multi-zone screen layout lets me show several types of information at once. I also value device grouping and remote monitoring across venues, since I can check whether screens are online without calling a colleague. The emergency and priority messaging override gives me confidence that urgent closure and safety information can reach guests quickly. Appspace support was helpful during setup, too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appspace?

I found rolling Appspace out across venues quite difficult at first. Our IT contractors spent around three weeks installing players, configuring network access, and registering devices. Quick updates also take more clicks than they should: I have to open the content, edit it, and confirm publication. A simple mobile edit view for time-sensitive text would help when I’m away from the office during morning departures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Content Scheduling, but Setup and Screen Previews Need Work"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Appspace?

I like having channels to organize content across different office displays. I love the content scheduling features with defined publishing and expiration dates. They help keep outdated announcements from lingering on screens and reduce the need for me to contact each location to remove them. Appspace also has good pre-built content cards for creating screen-friendly announcements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appspace?

I find that content can look different across screen layouts, and an announcement that works well on one display may feel crowded on another. I’d like a virtual preview for different screen sizes and orientations so I can check readability before publishing. The setup was also a bit difficult: coordinating display devices, network access, and channel assignments with IT took about two weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Visibility and Bulk Management, Despite Clunky Provisioning"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Appspace?

I enjoy Appspace’s centralized device management dashboard. I can see each player’s online or offline status, firmware version, last-seen time, and content cache state across all four sites from one screen. It turns signage from a black box into something I can monitor and maintain like any other network endpoint, with full visibility in one dashboard. I also enjoy grouping and tagging devices by location. I organize players by building, floor, and function, then push configuration changes to a whole group at once. When we upgraded our VLAN structure, I updated the relevant group instead of manually resetting all 60 devices individually, which saved me weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appspace?

I find device provisioning clunkier than it should be. Setup was moderately difficult from the infrastructure side, especially the network preparation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Desk Booking and Safety Broadcasts, Clunky Reporting"
4/5
What do you like best about Appspace?

I like Appspace’s live spatial intelligence mapping and native hardware app support. The interactive 3D floor map lets me configure desk zones, amenities, and meeting spaces in real time, and the client apps run on devices like Android media players and iPad meeting room displays. I also enjoy how easy it is to book a desk up to three days in advance, so I can make sure I have a comfortable place to work when I come into the office. The onboarding was intuitive, and the technical support team guided us smoothly through setup without downtime for employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appspace?

I find the analytics and reporting module clunky and rigid when I try to build custom room usage reports or export raw usage metrics. Getting data for a specific time frame for regional leadership often means exporting a massive CSV and manually working with it in a spreadsheet because the dashboard lacks flexible filtering. I’d like a drag-and-drop custom report builder with visualization templates and filters for date ranges, building wings, and teams or departments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
