"Great Customization, But Complex for Users"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Service Cloud?

I like the integration and customization of Agentforce Service (formerly Salesforce Service Cloud). It helps keep things organized because everything is in one place, which means less tab switching and more efficiency. I also find it helpful for prioritizing tasks and setting expectations with the end user, like estimating the turnaround time for solutions to tickets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Service Cloud?

I think the biggest issue is that our end users find the whole system confusing and baffling. It sometimes does too much, making it hard to troubleshoot and offer support effectively. It's like, I can set it up, but someone else trying to work in it might struggle with the interface. If something doesn't go right, they can't just easily figure it out because the system is so complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Case Management Made Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Service Cloud?

Agentforce Service excels at bringing customer data, communication channels, and automated workflows together under one roof. Because support reps operate inside the main CRM platform, they get an immediate, full picture of every customer’s history without switching apps. Adding autonomous AI agents and built-in knowledge access helps resolve routine questions quickly, while omnichannel routing automatically sends incoming cases to the right rep based on skill and workload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Service Cloud?

The main drawbacks stem from its overall cost and implementation complexity. Licensing fees can quickly climb as advanced features or usage credits are added, and setting up complex workflows often requires specialized admin expertise. For smaller teams with simple support needs, the platform can feel over-engineered, and heavily customized systems can sometimes experience slower page load times in the agent console. "Mixed Performance with Custom Objects"
3/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Service Cloud?

I appreciate the flexibility of use case with Agentforce Service, and even the out-of-box functionality is great when it's not bumping up against our customizations on the platform. The presumed ease of use for external facing traveling sales people is a big plus, and I find list views to be great as long as they're interacting with out-of-box objects. I also found the initial setup very easy, which allowed us to utilize the out-of-box functionality instead of building many custom agents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Service Cloud?

The main issue I faced with Agentforce Service is its ability to interact with customized objects. It can be challenging when it doesn't function well with the customizations we have on the platform. Additionally, the reliability of responses is a concern, as giving the same input three times can result in different outputs each time. This inconsistency can be frustrating. "Powerful AI Service Platform, but Setup and Workflows Can Feel Complex"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Service Cloud?

What I like best about Agentforce Service is the ability to manage customer interactions and service cases in one centralized platform. It gives service teams a complete view of the customer and makes it easier to track cases, collaborate across teams, and provide consistent support across different channels.

The automation and AI capabilities are also particularly valuable, helping streamline repetitive tasks, prioritize cases, and provide agents with relevant information more quickly. This ultimately improves both agent productivity and the overall customer service experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Service Cloud?

The main drawback is the complexity that comes with such a feature-rich platform. Initial configuration and customization can require significant effort, and some workflows are not always intuitive for occasional or new users.

In addition, taking full advantage of the automation and AI capabilities often requires careful setup, integration, and ongoing governance. Simplifying the user experience and reducing the effort required to configure advanced features would make the platform even more effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful AI Innovation, But Costly and Complex"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Service Cloud?

What I like best about Agentforce Service is its seamless integration of AI-driven autonomous agents with traditional CRM data. It allows businesses to automate routine customer service tasks with highly contextual, accurate AI conversationalists while effortlessly escalating complex issues to human agents—all within a single, unified ecosystem Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Service Cloud?

What I like least is the steep learning curve and the high cost of implementation. Setting up advanced AI agents requires significant technical expertise and clean data, which can be overwhelming for smaller teams. Additionally, the licensing fees and token-based pricing for AI features can quickly become expensive as you scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Autonomous AI Agent"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Service Cloud?

Core Benefits & Upsides

Autonomous AI Agents: It deploys AI agents that can independently analyze customer queries, trigger workflows, and resolve issues end-to-end without human intervention. Unified Customer Data (Data Cloud): It connects directly with Salesforce Data Cloud to provide a 360-degree, real-time view of customer history, interactions, and accounts. Omnichannel Engagement: It manages customer interactions seamlessly across email, phone, live chat, messaging apps, and social media from a single console. Enhanced Agent Productivity: Features such as generative AI case summaries, auto-responders, and recommended next steps can significantly reduce handle times for human agents. Scalable Process Automation: It uses Flow Builder and automated routing to quickly direct complex cases to the appropriate specialist or team. Advanced Analytics: It offers real-time dashboards and predictive metrics via CRM Analytics to track agent performance, customer satisfaction (CSAT), and operational bottlenecks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Service Cloud?

Core Disadvantages & Downsides

High Total Cost of Ownership: Base licensing fees are premium, and costs can scale up quickly as advanced AI features, add-ons, higher-tier editions, or volume-based usage (like Agentforce conversations) are added.

Steep Learning Curve: The platform’s overall complexity can feel overwhelming for new users and administrators, often requiring dedicated training and specialized certification to configure and manage properly.

Complex Implementation & Setup: Customizing workflows and data models, along with setting up AI guardrails, frequently requires expensive external implementation partners or dedicated Salesforce developers.

Cluttered User Interface: The agent console can feel overly dense and cluttered with options, which can slow response times for new agents until the workspace is fully customized.

Data Cleansing Requirements: Autonomous AI functionality depends heavily on accurate underlying data; weak existing CRM data or low-quality knowledge base content directly reduces AI performance and accuracy.

Performance Lag with Heavy Customization: Orgs with extensive custom code, complex legacy automation, or multiple third-party integrations may see slower page loads and more sluggish console responsiveness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Customizable Support Hub—But Complex UI and Admin Overhead"
3/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Service Cloud?

It centralizes cases, emails, chat, and customer data across every channel into one unified workspace, giving agents a complete view of the customer relationship. Automation and workflows — case routing, escalation rules, SLA tracking — help prioritize and resolve issues faster without adding headcount. It's highly customizable, letting teams tailor everything from routing logic to self-service portals to their specific processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Service Cloud?

The sheer number of features, tabs, and settings can make it hard to quickly find what you need, even with proper training. Setup and UI aren't always optimal — user/profile settings can differ across views, leading to confusion and less granular control than expected. As with other Salesforce clouds, the platform's flexibility means configuration and admin overhead scale up fast, requiring real expertise to keep it running smoothly. "All-in-One Customer Service Platform with Powerful Automation and AI"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Service Cloud?

What I like most about Agentforce Service is how it brings customer service tools, automation, and AI capabilities together in one platform. The ability to automate repetitive tasks, provide agents with relevant customer information, and use AI to assist with service interactions can significantly improve productivity. I also like how customizable it is, allowing teams to tailor workflows, permissions, and processes to their specific business needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Service Cloud?

The main challenge with Agentforce Service is that it can take time and technical expertise to configure and customize effectively. With so many features and options available, the platform can feel complex for new users. Some advanced automations and AI capabilities may also require additional setup, testing, and ongoing maintenance to ensure they work as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Agentforce Service Delivers Fast, End-to-End Case Resolution with Autonomous AI Agents"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Service Cloud?

What I like best about Agentforce Service is how it combines traditional case management with autonomous AI agents that can resolve customer issues on their own, not just suggest answers to human agents. It handles routine inquiries end to end, escalating only when needed, which frees the service team to focus on more complex cases while still keeping response times fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Service Cloud?

What I dislike about Agentforce Service is that setting up reliable autonomous resolution takes real effort. It requires well-structured knowledge articles and clean data to work well, and getting the agent to handle edge cases without escalating too often or too rarely takes a fair amount of tuning and testing before it feels production-ready. "Flexible, Centralized Customer Service with Powerful Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Service Cloud?

What I like most about Agentforce Service is its flexibility and ability to centralize customer service operations in one platform. It provides a clear view of customer interactions, cases, and service history, while features such as Omni-Channel and automation help teams manage workloads more efficiently.

I also appreciate how customizable the platform is, allowing businesses to design service processes around their specific requirements and integrate them with other Salesforce solutions. This makes it easier to improve service consistency, visibility, and collaboration across teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Service Cloud?

The main challenge is the complexity of configuration and customization. Some simple business requirements can require significant technical effort due to dependencies between permissions, automation, integrations, and other Salesforce components. The learning curve can also be steep for new users and administrators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
