I have used two other aesthetic medspa EMR's in the past. AestheticPro is by far the most comprehensive, well thought-out application to manage my patient documents, clinical tracking, inventory and patient communication. Aesthetic Pro has excellent customer service and support videos to address any of the challenges I have had when I initially onboarded or after using the system for several months. The team is professional, responsive and always helpful. The price for the application is well worth my monthly subscription cost. I give AP a major thumbs-up compared to their competition. We wish the appointments that have been checked out for the day were visually different on the calendar so we can easily see where we're at for the day. For example if the checked out appointments were grayed out it would be easier to see what appointments we have left. Also we dislike that patient's can't upload photos through their client portal. AP is confusing to use. Even after a year of consistent use, my office staff was making mistakes. There are far too many junctures for staff to make a "mistake" which results in the transaction not being accurate and reporting being thrown off. Lastly, support seems to pride itself on being as unhelpful as possible. Their lead API has zero documentation. Additional, advanced level training videos would be helpful. Once I configured the system on a general level and started using it, I had some higher level questions that were not easily answered via training materials so I needed to reach out to the support team. This is not a great platform if you are running a "medical" aesthetics practice, there is no ordering of tests or sending/receiving faxes thru the platform. There is no referring doctors section if you need to send a patient out for other treatments. Also the online forms portal for new patients always gives us problems.
