The platform is extremely easy to use and practical.  The support staff for AP is top notch, helpful, easy to work with, and really invested in solving the problem.

Sometimes -communicating with the upper level support team can be tedious because they always want a specific name to solve a problem, even if the problem is a general one.

The platform is used for scheduling, tracking payments, and charting medical records.

**What do you like best about AestheticsPro?**

I have used two other aesthetic medspa EMR's  in the past. AestheticPro is by far the most comprehensive, well thought-out application to manage my patient documents, clinical tracking, inventory and patient communication. Aesthetic Pro has excellent customer service and support videos to address any of the challenges I have had when I initially onboarded or after using the system for several months. The team is professional, responsive and always helpful. The price for the application is well worth my monthly subscription cost. I give AP a major thumbs-up compared to their competition.

Pretty sophisticated so I have needed more help than the videos for email campaigns and certain initial set up for reminders.

**What do you like best about AestheticsPro?**

My favorite part of using AestheticsPro is the support team. Whenever an issue arises support is quick to respond and always helpful. Our account manager Daija Martos is always fast to reply as well and happy to help with any questions we have.

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

We wish the appointments that have been checked out for the day were visually different on the calendar so we can easily see where we're at for the day. For example if the checked out appointments were grayed out it would be easier to see what appointments we have left. Also we dislike that patient's can't upload photos through their client portal.

**What problems is AestheticsPro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very user-friendly interface that all of our staff can use. We love all of the different report options as well which is unique to AestheticsPro. Our business has become more efficient at tracking treatments and tracking our closed consultations and upsale appointments. It is very easy to get in touch with the AP support team whenever questions come up.

**What do you like best about AestheticsPro?**

AestheticsPro does a lot of things, and it does most of them ok. The highlights are custom form creation and reporting.

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

AP is confusing to use. Even after a year of consistent use, my office staff was making mistakes. There are far too many junctures for staff to make a "mistake" which results in the transaction not being accurate and reporting being thrown off. Lastly, support seems to pride itself on being as unhelpful as possible. Their lead API has zero documentation. Messages from support are never signed, so there's no accountability for their responses. We left after our one year contract was up.

**What problems is AestheticsPro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Aesthetics Pro as our EMR and POS. We tried using it as our marketing solution but quickly moved away to another solution that worked better for us.

Rarely any service failures. Comprehensive record-keeping and scheduling. Very reliable. Very fast customer support.

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

Inability to import client profiles. I have to manually enter my clients' info.  Haven't seen any upgraded improvements to the user interface.

The scheduled reminders are a great way for me to remember to keep in touch with leads or inactive clients.

lack of reports and very much looking forward to the update with email marketing. The landing pages for scheduling need a facelift and the online portal for patients has been a frustrating learning curve

I don't know that we have a problem that Aesthetics pro is solving - of the pos systems available this one is the most user-friendly. There is area for improvement on patient use.

**What do you like best about AestheticsPro?**

Very user-friendly and intuitive software. Everything from form creation, template building and documentation. The support team is very responsive and helpful whenever I'm stumped so makes customization a breeze.

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

Additional, advanced level training videos would be helpful.  Once I configured the system on a general level and started using it, I had some higher level questions that were not easily answered via training materials so I needed to reach out to the support team. The team was extremely responsive and helpful, but I could have avoided needing to place a ticket if more troubleshooting videos were available.

**What problems is AestheticsPro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I chose Aesthetics Pro because it easily and thoroughly allows for a complete business package. It includes patient registration, visit documentation, inventory management, integrated billing/payments, and communications. Marketing through drip campaigns and email/text reminders are usually not part of the basic level of medical electronic health records.

User friendly platform. Great for Spa treatments and medical directorship type offices.  The online booking is great!

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

This is not a great platform if you are running a "medical" aesthetics practice, there is no ordering of tests or sending/receiving faxes thru the platform.  There is no referring doctors section if you need to send a patient out for other treatments.  Also the online forms portal for new patients always gives us problems.

**What problems is AestheticsPro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They do offer ePrescribe now, it's not the most user friendly platform i've used in my 25 years of healthcare work but easy enough if you don't mind the process.

That there is the possibility for reports such as production per employee and P&L .

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

Very limited capability. Functionality is limited. Poor support. Marketing is dated and limited. Front desk says it is cumbersome to check someone out.  Portal does not work for our needs. Does not text patients. No App which was promised to happen soon after we purchased almost 2 years ago. Cannot use for tracking memberships and member services as promised.

Actually it was just slightly easier and quicker checkout process than previous Ehr, HOWEVER, my front desk is still complaining about the processes.

The system is easy to use. It has the basic functionality that I need for day to day transactions and charting. Affordable option for a solo provider practice. The annual promo helped with the cost.

This system does everything I need. There were some glitches here and there but I worked them out with tech support over time.

**What problems is AestheticsPro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me keep my charts accurate and basic bookkeeping keeps my accounts receivable in order. I save time with the integrated check-out processing so I don't have to do double work.

The Referral / Points system is awesome! I love the option to API the Portal into my website so that my clients can directly book with me!

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

I am unable to customize SEVERAL things like placing an image into emails or texts, unable to customize the colors on the Portal landing page or the design, including images.

CRM, and workflow! It is benefiting my business because it keeps everything all in one place! Next, I will be focusing more on Lead and Marketing MAnagement through AP.

Once you get the hang of how the AP UI works, it's fairly intuitive to figure out how to do new things.  The AP support team is very good at rapidly responding to any questions.

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

AP has limited flexibility to customize the platform - especially reporting - which can make it a challenge to arrive at certain answers regarding business performance.

In my opinion AP does the best job across the most categories versus the competition.

We use AP as our operations platform for the Med Spa.  It has limitations as a Financial platform but for appointments, inventory, CRM, etc it works fairly well.

When I compare what I pay for what I get, I dislike everything about this SaaS!

Most of the reports don't work or reflect wrong data. It's been more than 3 months that I opened a ticket to get an issue that I have resolved.

**What problems is AestheticsPro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AestheticsPro claims it offers so many marketing and reporting tools. But, it's not anything other than a beta version that needs top to bottom enhancement. There so many bugs needed to be fixed before selling it to practices! This might be a good thing to have for a one-man show business that does not need any reporting tools, but it is not for real practices.

**What do you like best about AestheticsPro?**

The self booking option links seamlessly into my website, and allows new and existing clients to book at their convenience, thus increasing the number of bookings. The EMR has hundreds of pre-built consents and templates that can be easily updated to fit my practice.

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

I wish that AP linked to Google and other booking platforms. Other than that, I have been extremely happy with it and have had no complaints!

Scheduling, CRM, EMR, bookkeeping, and performance analysis are all easily managed in one place. I can access AP from both my office and on the go, on my phone.

Calculating commissions has been a very easy process with AP.

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

The instability of the whole platform, starting with E-Records not saving properly, not being able to talk to customer service by calling ( Sometimes we need immediate help and can't wait to be emailed back), and not being able to see archived records as needed, the one-way texting option is not sufficient, to not correcting spelling in some notes, to so many other issues that never get fixed.

Sometimes when we get emailed back from customer service, they are very detailed in response.  That makes our problem-solving easier.

Pre populated forms. Clients can schedule own appointments.

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

Difficult understanding tech support when you have a question or a problem. Would like to speak in person Cleaning up the client chart of old missed visit forms.

Not using all the capabilities of aesthetics pro. Would be nice to have a refresher. They go to quickly for the non tech savy staff.

There are many different forms to use and customize for your specific needs. The POS integration with Gravity is amazing! All the reporting options are a time saver.

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

The calendar goes back to today instead of staying in the future date view you are working in. Gravity integration keeps disconnecting overnight.

**What problems is AestheticsPro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AestheticsPro is making it easier for us to have one place for everything (POS, Schedule, Forms, Charting). No more paper forms, lost notes, and multiple systems.

The ability to track the number of units and build the services is very customized.

A lot of glitches with checkouts and other areas. Employees are not able to see their commission which makes the commission-based business very hard. You have to give them access to see everything or nothing at all.

I don't think it's solving anything. Everything in there you can find in other softwares.

The ease of being able to find patients quickly with just one of their identifiers. The ease of uploading pictures after each visit helps a lot as well. Being able to see what others have used for consent forms is also very useful.

The system is just very slow, like painfully slow at times. I hate how hard it is to make new consent forms and all the checks and the hoops you have to go through to get a customized consent form or information form made from scratch.

Not having to deal with paper charts, and loosing or misplacing information is very helpful. Being able to keep all your patient information on one platform, and being able to access then with ease have been a blessing that I did not know how much it helps until after I started using the system.

Many things have too many steps, like registering a new patient and then having to send password link separately.  We don't like that the patient instructions disappear after they view.  We also don't like that there is not a note section on the checkout screen to make any notes about what the discounts are for.

It's nice that the payment processing and EMR part are combined as one.

I love that the system has all the features in one. It is an incredibly comprehensive system. I also like the on boarding and the ability to have live conversations with the support staff, that does make a huge differerence.

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

There are many issues I've had with the software that remain unresolved and honestly given up on at this point. It's also strange that to get anything added like gender,  pronouns, or even ethnicity requires a full future review and years to fix. There is no Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, so if you live in Hawaii, good luck. It's discouraging that something as simple as that takes that much work to change. These sound simple to most, but I work in Hawaii with Trans folks, and those two things are essential to our business.

If you need excellent record-keeping software, this does the job great.

Scheduling, Forms, and storage. The software does a great job of providing a great EMR for medispas and the like.

It is very user-friendly. Easy to pick up and backtrack if needed.

There are a few areas that need improvements. It would be helpful if customers/practices could make some customizations specialized for their package/subscription. It would also help if they had a payroll option added.

**What problems is AestheticsPro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a new company. We had some issues with sending patients their forms to complete before their appointment.  Submitting support tickets have been helpful. Usually, someone answers very quickly and gives step-by-step instructions or is available to have a quick Q & A session.  The support and training were very beneficial. Also, recordings of the training calls have been a huge help while hiring more staff and playing back those recordings.

I was able to create my own forms and the price is good.

There is no safety feature to warn providers of some contraindications to treatment or allergies warning but it's okay as I made our own forms that will remind providers what to watch for.

Nothing as of the moment as I am new to the software but I will update my review in the future if I will come up with problems.

That the treatment notes and all the pertinent information does not carry over. As someone who does medical weight loss and needs a very comprehensive medical history, not having that carry over as well as not having designated areas for medication lists, allergies etc is of concern. 
Also, NO ELECTRONIC PRESCRIBING OPTION (I have to use a different portal to prescribe).

Easy scheduling options; patient can request specific appointment times, which helps with scheduling as well.

Some features can be glitchy, but we have found work arounds, as support is usually of little help. Not very responsive to suggestions for new feature developments, and very seldomly do proactive feature improvements or upgrades to elevate the platform experience.

MyAestheticsPro provides a streamlined scheduling, charting, documentation, and checkout experience for a one-stop-shop, all-inclusive platform. Overall has helped the practice be more organized and efficient with our time and resources.

**What do you like best about AestheticsPro?**

It's so easy to use, especially compared to the other aesthetic EMR I use at my other practice. I love how easy it is to do documentation, the sticky note option is also convenient: you can make a note pop up every time you open up a patient's chart. I also like how easy it is to delete and edit notes. I like it's ease and integration with payments: we can invoice, quote, take care of the money side of business with Aestheticspro. 

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

You have to physically sign your documents each time, with other software, I like how I can upload my signature and press a button to have my signature appear. 

I hate how when I'm documenting for lasers, I have to press the (+) button to save the settings in addition to clicking save records. We have lost MULTIPLE documentation and settings (which have been very inconvenient and inappropriate to lose these settings) due to this flaw and is definitely my biggest pet peeve!  

There's no option on Aestheticspro for sending e-scripts.

We were keeping all our photos on a camera, but now I've utilized the photo gallery and I love how I can upload photos easily onto AestheticsPro.

I like that you can schedule, take payments, create subscriptions, and create and view medical records as well as keep before and after photos all within this software. It really does have everything you need.

The only thing I dislike, is if we have multiple locations, the patients info can't be found unless I go to the last location they were at and move them to our location before scheduling them again. It gets to be a hassle when they can't remember the last location they were at

**What do you like best about AestheticsPro?**

I love that the software is overall user friendly and that customer support is quick to respond and resolve issues or answer questions. I am relatively tech-savvy and not afraid to learn through trial and error. I am comfortable trying features without having had a full training on them, and Aesthetics Pro is user friendly in the sense that I can learn that way without messing anything up. They also have a variety of reports for analytics.

**What do you dislike about AestheticsPro?**

There are some features that are not well developed. For example, the calendar does not allow you to update both day and time simultaneously if rescheduling an appointment to a day of the week with different operating hours than the original day it was scheduled for.  Due to a recent update, services that were added as an up sell during the appointment must be added to the appointment on the calendar before checking out, rather than adding them to the invoice at check out, making the process more time consuming both for staff and customers.  Glitches also sometimes occur (although rarely).

We use AestheticsPro for all of our scheduling. It contains all of ththe contact information and patient forms for all of our clients, as well as record of all their treatments and purchases. We also use this system for our retail. We could not operate efficiently without some type of software such as this.
