I don't have anything specific that comes to mind. I would say the main downside is that, in certain areas, you have less flexibility.

For example, I can't contact the IRS directly to inquire about a tax credit we're expecting because the credit was filed by ADP as part of our PEO relationship. As a result, any follow-up has to go through ADP rather than being handled directly by us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that all important documents are located in one portal. The portal has quick links to the most important HR topics/websites/resources I need to access. The ability to schedule time off is very simple and I like that it provides a calendar view for me to see my own time and also other people's on my team so I can plan accordingly. I like that ADP TotalSource houses everything under one umbrella, making it easy and seamless to manage HR tasks, payroll, and 401K. Their support in handling HR problems and workers' compensation issues is great. The tool simplifies processes by taking care of everything on the back end, helping my day-to-day operations. It's also valuable financially, especially with workers' comp, because all information is readily available without any need for a secondhand resource. I think my biggest hurdle and complaint is that I feel like I'm always having a new representative. I don't know whether it's turnover or promotion, but before I was on this platform, I only had one or two reps that were with me for a very long time. I really enjoy the UI of ADP TotalSource. It's easy to navigate, which makes the payroll process super easy and straightforward, and the time-off request process is also simple. The overall ease of use is impressive, and I feel very secure logging in through single sign-on with a passkey. Once I'm logged in, everything is very efficient compared to previous generations of ADP. I don't waste time trying to navigate to specific functions because everything is obvious due to the good UI. The benefits offerings and enrollment are excellent. We were able to save a lot of money for the company and our employees. Because it offers a centralized method for managing payroll, employee data, benefits, and HR-related operations, ADP TotalSource has been beneficial. Having payroll and employee records in one location is very convenient for me because it eliminates the need to maintain numerous systems and facilitates information access and normal HR activities. I use ADP TotalSource for my payroll and love how it keeps all my paystubs and w2s accessible while allowing me to update my contact information fast and in real time. I like that I can log in anytime without having to go through human resources. The app is great because it gives me notifications when I need to respond quickly to tasks. I also appreciate getting notified as soon as my paystub is available, which helps me ensure the hours and pay are accurate in case I need to dispute anything with HR. I have to update my password more often than I would like to, and if I lose access to my phone or email, it's hard to get it fixed. Plus, it took a while to get access to ADP TotalSource when I started the job.
