# Which Bookkeeping Services platforms maintain performance as accounting and finance teams scale?

I'm looking at which Bookkeeping Services providers actually keep up as an accounting and finance team's workload grows, rather than being a good fit only at the small-business stage. Same honest note as the last question, this category has a thin reviewed pool on G2. Inside Bookkeeping Services, Baker Tilly and Indinero are the two names with enough reviews to draw on for scaling specifically.

Baker Tilly: a larger firm with the depth to support growing finance teams without the relationship straining as complexity increases.

Indinero: built to scale alongside growing companies, adding financial reporting and controller-level support as bookkeeping needs get more complex.

AccountingDepartment.com: offers outsourced teams that can flex as a company's transaction volume and reporting needs grow.

Maxim Liberty: smaller in scale, worth watching for whether it can keep pace as a finance team's needs get more sophisticated.

Given how few reviews exist here relative to real market size, has anyone actually outgrown a bookkeeping provider and had to switch, and what was the signal that it was time to move on?

The clearest sign you’ve outgrown a bookkeeping provider is when transaction growth starts creating delays, reporting needs become more sophisticated, or your internal finance team spends more time correcting and coordinating the provider’s work. I’d compare close speed, reporting depth, responsiveness, and how easily the service can add controller or advisory support as complexity grows.
