Substance painter is an excellent piece of software for adding materials and color to your 3D models. It's resource management for your assets is very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At its core, Substance Painter is clunky. It's very resource-heavy for the average user and can be challenging to work in if the computer's hardware wasn't built for 3D work. Additionally, Adobe's render engine is still terrible. On an average PC or Mac, you can expect long wait times during renders, and you'd better hope you did it right the first time, or you'll be waiting even longer to re-render a project.
