I love being able to edit and sign documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing important to note because it works so well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It used to be quite good and fast, and by default, it supported all kinds of infinite PDF forms, many of which specifically require Acrobat Reader. I relied on it for tasks like commenting on papers and signing documents - it was my go-to tool for these purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Acrobat reater has become increasingly intrusive with constant prompts to 'sign up and get all the features.' Since Adobe jammed AI in the reader, it loads slower and each time I open a document forces me to look at the features I don't need (instead of work with the document), such as asking if I want AI to summarize my documents - They are documents to work with, not basis for AI slop-summary.
And it annoys with reminders about benefits of subscription to their AI cloud service. I do not want any AI features forced on me. I refuse to subscribe to Adobe Cloud, partly because Adobe is so persistent with their AI, and also because I am concerned they might use my documents, some of which are confidential , to train another AI all for someone to figure out how to fish out training data from AI back.
