I find the OCR errors to be a major issue, especially with scanned documents that have less clarity. It feels very complicated to use on Mac compared to Windows. I think the shortcuts and available options on Windows should be the same on Mac, but they're not consistent right now. Easy installation and UI is so good, much training is not required to understand the tool. It's very good in extracting words or texts from images or scanned documents and supports multiple languages. And also converting images or scanned documents to other formats like Word, Excel, HTML, etc. The ability to handle bulk documents is quite easy in Windows. Most useful thing in documenting paper works to digital documents. Support helpdesk seems responsive many times. Helps a lot in regular use case for documenting the paper works. What I live most is the OCR (to scan and detect text content on scanned document) tools that is the most accurate in detecting font type and text. There are multiple things which I liked about FineReader PDF, but the one which i like most about it is how easy it makes working with documents that are not originally digital. When I need to scan documents and quickly convert them to editable formats, FineReader PDF is my favorite tool. It has easy to understand interface, scans documents with remarkable accuracy (maintains the integrity of the original document) and offers great speed to convert documents to common formats without having to upload the files to an online platform; and a great addition is that before finishing the job it allows me to preview the files to confirm that the result is exactly what I need.
