It's very good in extracting words or texts from images or scanned documents and supports multiple languages And also converting images or scanned documents to other formates like word, excel, HTML etc.. I have been using FineReader PDF for a few years now for converting scanned contracts and old PDFs into editable files for work. The OCR accuracy is king of shocking text comes out so clean, even on some sketchy original documents. What save for me is how easily I can tweak converted text, edit whole paragraphs, and reorganize tables, almost like working in word.
