"Keeps PDF Reviews Organized with Compare Files, Comments, and Shared Reviews"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat Reader?

What I like most about Adobe Acrobat Reader is that I never have to think about whether a document will look different on another device. I mostly depend on Liquid Mode, Read Out Loud, Compare Files, Fill & Sign, Protected Mode, and Shared Reviews because each one solves a different problem that comes up while working with PDFs. Sometimes I'm simply reading a long document on my phone, other times I'm checking whether a revised file actually changed anything important. The best part is that the document always behaves exactly the way I expect, regardless of where I open it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat Reader?

Some advanced tools are still locked behind Acrobat Pro, so occasionally I need another application when a document requires more than reviewing. I also think navigating extremely large PDFs could feel a little smoother Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Acrobat Reader solving and how is that benefiting you?

One thing I used to run into quite often was uncertainty. Different PDF viewers sometimes displayed fonts, comments, or layouts differently, so I wasn't always sure if I was seeing the same document everyone else was. Since using Adobe Acrobat Reader, that uncertainty has almost disappeared. Whether I'm reviewing, signing, or comparing files, I know the document will remain consistent, which makes working with important PDFs much more reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Consistently Reliable PDF Viewing, Reviewing, and Signing with Adobe Acrobat Reader"

5/5

What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat Reader?

I’ve been using Adobe Acrobat Reader almost every day for work, and it’s been consistently reliable. I mainly use it to read PDFs, highlight key sections, add comments, fill out forms, and sign documents. The layout feels intuitive, so I’m not wasting time hunting around for the right feature.

What I appreciate most is that it simply works. Even with large PDF files, it stays responsive and doesn’t lag or crash. The search tool is especially helpful when I need to find specific information in long documents. I also like being able to access files from cloud storage without any extra hassle.

It isn’t a full PDF editor unless you have the paid version, but for everyday viewing, reviewing, and signing, it does exactly what I need. Overall, it’s a dependable tool that fits smoothly into my daily workflow, and I rarely run into problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat Reader?

Honestly, there isn’t much to complain about, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The application can feel a bit heavy when it first launches, especially on older systems. I also find it frustrating that some features that seem fairly basic—like editing PDF text or converting files—are only available in the paid version.

Another minor annoyance is the occasional pop-ups asking you to upgrade to Acrobat Pro. They’re not a huge issue, but they can be distracting when you just want to open and read a document. Aside from those points, it’s been a stable and reliable application for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Acrobat Reader solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe Acrobat Reader helps me manage almost everything related to PDF documents in one place. Rather than switching between different tools to view files, add comments, fill out forms, or sign documents, I can handle all of it within the same application.

It’s especially helpful when I’m reviewing documents at work because I can quickly highlight key sections, add notes, and share feedback without altering the original file. It also saves me time with forms, since I can fill them out and sign them digitally instead of printing and scanning. Overall, it makes working with PDFs much more straightforward and keeps my document workflow simple, organized, and easy to maintain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Easy PDF Viewing and Annotation with Adobe Acrobat Reader"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat Reader?

I like that Adobe Acrobat Reader makes it easy to open, read, and work with PDF files. I use it regularly to review documents, add comments, fill forms, and share PDFs with others.

The interface is familiar and reliable, and it handles most PDF files without any issues. It’s one of those tools that just works when I need to access documents quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat Reader?

I think some useful features are locked behind paid plans, which can be frustrating if you only need them occasionally. The application can also feel a bit heavy at times, especially when opening large PDF files or working on older computers.

For basic PDF viewing it works well, but some advanced tools can be expensive for individual users.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Acrobat Reader solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe Acrobat Reader helps me work with PDF documents more efficiently. I use it to view files, review documents, fill out forms, and add comments when needed. It saves time because I can handle most PDF-related tasks in one place instead of converting files or using multiple tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent PDF Performance and User-Friendly Tools—Worth It with Adobe CC"

5/5

What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat Reader?

Adobe Acrobat Reader is very helpful for creating and editing documents as a teacher. Its performance with PDF formats is excellent, and it’s user-friendly, with integrated tools for working with files. Since I’m a design teacher and it’s included in Adobe CC, the overall pricing and return on investment for the package feel absolutely worth it for schools and students. I also see other integrations and tools updated making the workflow easier with large documents and the mobile app equipped with tools to view, edit, sign and share PDF even from our phones or devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat Reader?

I don’t dislike anything about Adobe. All of its tools and programs are powerful and useful across many creative and professional areas. As a teacher, I do see an opportunity for growth in making documents more easily editable for collaborative work on the web. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Acrobat Reader solving and how is that benefiting you?

It benefits me as a teacher in many of my professional endeavors. It helps me save time and makes my workflow across Adobe programs more efficient and successful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Invaluable for Client Proofs—Acrobat Reader Shows Exactly What I Send"

5/5

What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat Reader?

As a graphic designer, I use Adobe Acrobat in creating most of my client proofs and my clients use Acrobat Reader to proof the things I create. I love that Acrobat reader shows the client exactly what I send them so that when I job is approved and goes to press, there are no surprises. Over the years, they've added more and more functionality to Reader and it's an invaluable tool for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat Reader?

Honestly, the only downside is that every now and then (very, very rarely) you run across a client who doesn't already have it downloaded so it's one more piece of software they need to install. I really can't remember the last time I had to help a client install Reader, though, so it really isn't a big deal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Acrobat Reader solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's not a problem, exactly, but when you are working remote, I know that when I look at a document on my screen it will look EXACTLY the same on their screen. Not all apps can say this. I've seen margins change, text flows change, etc. Acrobat reliably shows the client exactly what I see, which makes it much easier to communicate about it. And because it is perfectly integrated to the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite, it's just a lot easier to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Versatile PDF Tool with Fast Performance and Intuitive Annotations"

5/5

What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat Reader?

What I like best about Adobe Acrobat Reader is its reliability and versatility. It opens PDFs quickly, even large ones, without slowing down, and the tools for annotation, highlighting, and commenting are very intuitive. I also appreciate the ability to fill forms, sign documents digitally, and convert files to and from PDF, which makes it much more than just a reader.

Another strong point is its cross-platform compatibility—I can use it on Windows, Mac, or mobile, and my documents stay consistent across devices. Overall, it’s a very professional, user-friendly, and secure tool for managing PDFs efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat Reader?

What I dislike about Adobe Acrobat Reader is that some of its best features, like editing text, converting PDFs, or advanced export options, are locked behind a paid subscription, which can be frustrating if you just want quick edits.

It can also be heavy on system resources, especially when opening very large PDFs or multiple files at once, which can slow down older computers. Occasionally, the interface feels cluttered with too many options for casual users, making it slightly overwhelming for simple tasks like reading or basic annotations.

Overall, while it’s powerful, some usability and performance issues can be a bit annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Acrobat Reader solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe Acrobat Reader solves the problem of efficiently viewing, managing, and sharing PDF documents, which are widely used for professional and academic purposes. It allows me to open PDFs quickly, annotate or highlight important content, and fill forms or sign documents digitally, eliminating the need for printing or manual paperwork. The software also ensures document consistency and security across devices, so I don’t have to worry about formatting issues when sharing files. Features like PDF search, bookmarks, and text selection make finding information fast and organized. Overall, it saves me time, paper, and effort, while making document management much smoother and more professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
