"Great overall scheduling application with people and results in mind."
What do you like best about Ad Astra?

I really value the SPACESTATION community, a gamified space where users can connect and learn. It’s a great place to share ideas, pick up tips from other schools, and see how different institutions approach scheduling. It also provides direct connections and customer support with the Ad Astra team, making the experience feel collaborative and personal.

On the system side, the interface is straightforward, and the filtering tools make it easy to quickly find what I need without sorting through excessive data. Real-time updates have made scheduling far more organized and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ad Astra?

Some features in the current version require workarounds, but we’re optimistic about the improvements coming in the new product release. Easier event reporting and more flexible dashboards would make insights faster and more actionable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unsurpassed Customer Service and Features"
What do you like best about Ad Astra?

Ad Astra equips my instructional team with timely insights and efficient schedule monitoring leading to true, data-driven decisions. When paired with the intuitive visuals, the challenging faculty conversations become much easier. Its user-friendly interface and smart-filtering options make accessing the overwhelming amount of data easy: complexity to clarity at your fingertips! And above all, Ad Astra's customer service is unsurpassed! Every question and issue is immediately addressed by the support team with a smile, and customer needs are actually considered and added to future updates so you feel heard and get what you need. You're not just a client, you're part of a supportive community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ad Astra?

There are so many available reports that it can be overwhelming. My Ad Astra Client Success Lead, the Knowledge Base and the Space Station have been invaluable in guiding me to applicable reports and clarifying report options. This has helped build confidence in the reports and navigating the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Maximizing Access and Efficiency with Ad Astra"
What do you like best about Ad Astra?

What I appreciate most about Ad Astra's products is how they support data-informed decision making while keeping student access and success at the forefront. Tools like Monitor and Align make it easier to identify where we have high demand classes, potential scheduling conflicts and track underutilized space so we can act quickly and strategically. The platform also promotes collaboration between academic and operations teams, which helps us align our schedule with student needs and institutional goals. Ultimately, Ad Astra helps us remain data informed to be sure we offer the right classes when students need them - so that more students can succeed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ad Astra?

While Ad Astra offers strong tools for strategic scheduling, some aspects of the platform an feel complex or not intuitive - especially for new users. The learning curve can slow down adoption across teams that don't use it daily. Additionally certain features or reports may require multiple steps of workarounds to get to specific insights we need, which can limit agility during peak scheduling periods. As we continue to expand our use of the platform, we'd love to see more customizable dashboards and streamlined workflows that make it easier to act on data quickly. "Resourceful and Data-Driven Scheduling Powerhouse"
What do you like best about Ad Astra?

I appreciate how resourceful and data-driven Ad Astra is, as it significantly helps with scheduling conflicts and room assignments within my institution. The system collects valuable data and provides insights into data trends, making it easier for me to understand various aspects of our operations. This data is particularly beneficial in promoting student progress in higher education. Additionally, Ad Astra's initial setup process was straightforward and simple, which I found highly convenient. Overall, I am very satisfied with Ad Astra in its current form and am likely to recommend it to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ad Astra is a great platform for scheduling. MAPS is a great tool. The employees are knowledgeable"
What do you like best about Ad Astra?

The SPACESTATION, The scheduler part for reservations with the ability to upload pictures and resources for the employees. The team took care of the implementation after receiving the information to import from Banner and our old system. The system is really easy to use.

I recently started using a scheduling platform, and I couldn't be more impressed with how user-friendly it is. From the moment I logged in, the clean interface made navigation a breeze. The layout is intuitive, so I quickly found all the features I needed without any confusion.

Scheduling reservation requests and managing the scheduling grid calendar has never been easier. The visual design is clear, with color-coded options that make it simple to differentiate between various events. Plus, the drag-and-drop functionality is a game changer!

Overall, this platform has streamlined my scheduling process significantly. If you're looking for an easy-to-use tool that enhances productivity without the hassle, I highly recommend giving it a try! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ad Astra?

A few minor glitches but nothing a ticket can't resolve. When a person has multiple accounts due to depatment move I wish the system would merge the person together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Scheduling Tool"
What do you like best about Ad Astra?

I appreciate that all room information is located in one easy-to-navigate location. While we are scheduling classes, I often have to remind myself how many seats per room so having an easy look-up is quite helpful. The room charts that we print are easy to locate and print out. Customer service is excellent! I appreciate the many opportunities to train in Ad Astra. It is one of the best room-scheduling tools I've used. I look forward to learning more! What do you dislike about Ad Astra?

I have not run into any issues. I really enjoy the product. It is miles above the system we were previously using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Navigating the path"
What do you like best about Ad Astra?

Ad Astra's predictive analytics help us ensure that classes are scheduled when students need them (both according to their degree pathways and course maps and at the times of day and modality that students are looking for). The reporting is also helpful in building and monitoring those pathways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ad Astra?

Some of the analytics take a bit of tweaking to get right and the toxic course pairings require quite a bit of human analytics to decipher the correlations from the causation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ad Astra has been a huge part of our team's experience in the Office of Events."
What do you like best about Ad Astra?

The integration of equipment, spaces, reservations, meetings with different classification factors, timelines, setup and teardown windows, etc. is by FAR our favorite thing. We have really tried to centralize things, and Ad Astra has allowed us to do so in a seamless way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ad Astra?

There are a lot of features in Ad Astra that are helpful. However, sometimes, there's so much going on that I really wish I could speak with a representative about specifics. They do have a chat feature, which they do respond to, but sometimes I would like to be able to pick up the phone to communicate, as we do with some of our other software. However, All-in-all, Ad Astra is a wonderful product that I do recommend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Tool for Event Scheduling"
What do you like best about Ad Astra?

Adastra is excellent for planning and scheduling events. It is a comprehensive, intuitive program that anyone can learn to use. Scheduling multiple events is simple. Whether it's a large gathering or a small meeting, having all the information accessible at once is exceptionally beneficial. Staying organized is fast and efficient with the use of automated reminders and the notifications feature.

Adastra is a fantastic tool for event scheduling, suited for a wide range of events, from meetings to conferences, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ad Astra?

When doing a search in the scheduling grid, it does not maintain the selected features, i.e., displaying by week, day, or month. In addition, printing the scheduling grid it does not print properly. The margins are off so the days of the week do not display over the correct column. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
