This system allows for multiple pay rates for a single employee which makes everything so much easier for our field employees working at different places with different rates. **What do you dislike about OASIS?** I wish there was a way to have an employee complete our 11 onboarding documents digitally. As well as a place to save our handbook for employees to refer back to. This would save paper and policy requests if the employee could review both OASIS PEO handbook & the business Handbook. **What problems is OASIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently, we have no problems. Our employees know they need to log in to change any information or call OASIS support. This keeps the office employees hands out of the pot and requires the employee to take ownership of the tax and direct deposit information they enter. ### 2. Unlike other clinical scheduling software, Oasis is built by and for medical schools. No more trying to retrofit your curriculum into another system. **What do you dislike about OASIS?** There is a large number of help documents, but the onboarding is a little sparce. That said, support is easy to come by and the company is very responsive. They have really thought of everything. **What problems is OASIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Clinical scheduling and the lack of support for this functionality in our regular SIS (Banner) ### 4. My medical school uses this program as their primary and sole scheduling program. I love that I am able to export my course calendar to various different applications like Mac and iOS devices. This allows me to keep my scheduled sync and up to date in all of my devices. A cool trick I recently learned is that the schedules are updated in real time -- so any changes that the course administrator may make on the OASIS scheduling program is automatically translated onto my phone and computer! I don't have to do a single thing! I am also able to use the program to pick my courses in as easy as a click of a button. This allows me to have greater control of when building my schedule and it's hassle free. **What do you dislike about OASIS?** I personally do not dislike anything about this program! There are a few isolated times where the program may have had a glitch and it did not save my class choices. But it were very few events and I was able to successfully re-select my courses **Recommendations to others considering OASIS:** Have fun with this product! It is so easy to use and makes scheduling a breeze. I would highly recommend this product to ANY higher education university or institution. Trust me! **What problems is OASIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** OASIS is used as our medical school's primary scheduling device for courses and for course selection. To be honest, its easy to use interface has made my life so much easier. It makes an already challenging task of choosing courses and clinical rotations much easier to do ### 6. The content is well organized and functions cleanly. **What do you dislike about OASIS?** If you are looking for something to impress or be visually appealing, OASIS is not the product for you. The layout is very basic and bland. **Recommendations to others considering OASIS:** Simple tool to help with scheduling. I would recommend this product to others but it doesn't have great web design. **What problems is OASIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** OASIS allows students to schedule courses and easily sort through the course catalog. ### 7. It is a very straightforward process to add rotations you would like to take into your lottery selections. OASIS allows my school to run a randomized lottery system that places each student into one of their lottery selections. **What do you dislike about OASIS?** The user interface is not completely glitch free and findings electives that fit into specific time frames can be a little tricky. **Recommendations to others considering OASIS:** OASIS, if used correctly, can make medical school class/rotation scheduling simpler and more fair for all students. The lottery system offered allows students to be randomly assigned to classes that they ranked in their lottery selections. Later on in the process, students can swap classes if mutually agreed upon. **What problems is OASIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** OASIS makes medical school class/rotation scheduling more streamlined and fair for all students as it offers a lottery selection system. ### 8. They layout and options also make the process of evaluating my professors and receiving evaluations very simple. It's basically a hub for all the tasks a student needs to do. **What do you dislike about OASIS?** The website looks very old. It can benefit from a new look. **Recommendations to others considering OASIS:** Definitely use this platform! **What problems is OASIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** OASIS lets professors and students effectively schedule and evaluate the school's curriculum. It is a great tool for students and faculty and helps run a smooth curriculum. ### 9. I have not encountered any issues or problems with this software to date. **Recommendations to others considering OASIS:** I would recommend OASIS as a comprehensive resource for faculty (teachers) and students. **What problems is OASIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** OASIS has provided a great centralized resource for our medical students and teaching faculty for course descriptions, lottery sign-ups, and means of allowing students to effectively evaluate our teaching faculty. ### 10.
