"very good and efficient"
What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?

I have been using PeopleHR for almost two years, including in my previous role, and I find it to be a very useful and efficient system. It contains a lot of information that is easy to access, and I use it daily to support my work as a manager. The platform allows me to navigate different sections with ease, input data quickly, and follow straightforward guides whenever needed.

Ease of Integration

PeopleHR integrates well with existing processes and workflows. It fits seamlessly into daily operations without requiring extensive adjustments or technical challenges, making it straightforward to adopt across the team.

Ease of Implementation

The setup and implementation process was smooth, with clear instructions and helpful resources to guide the way. It did not take long to get the system running effectively, and the availability of training materials made the transition much easier.

Customer Support

Whenever I have needed assistance, customer support has always been available and responsive. Help is always at hand, which makes the overall experience even more reliable and efficient.

Overall, PeopleHR has been very effective for me as a manager and for my team, offering efficiency, accessibility, and excellent support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clunky system, non-existent support, immoral company!"
What do you like best about Access PeopleHR?

It looks colourful, it's bearable from an employees usability and view point Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access PeopleHR?

For employers it's clunky:

1. It doesn't always show every employee in the employee scheme.

2. In all areas, fields don't mandate that they are completed in the same format, making analysis difficult when extracted.

3. Reports and report creation is basic, not user friendly and time consuming.

4. Add on modules aren't very good and expensive (which is why we don't have them - I've used PeopleHR previously and inherited it with this company).

5. The company is incredibly poor at supporting clients and the service disappears fast once on-boarded. Our requests to resolve issues often only has sales people trying to sell us more and they never attend meetings to fix the issues we have. Complaints are rarely resolved.

6. It's incredibly expensive for such poor usability and outputs.

7. Annual contracts tie us in to a terrible system and create further resentment when we are not supported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Taryn Schutzler of Access PeopleHR

Thank you for taking the time to share this — I can tell this has been a really frustrating experience, and I’m genuinely sorry you’ve been left feeling this way.

While I’m glad to hear the employee-side experience has been at least usable, it’s clear that from an admin and business perspective the system hasn’t delivered what you need. The challenges you’ve raised around reporting, data consistency, visibility of employees and overall usability are all valid concerns, especially when they’re impacting your ability to rely on the system day to day.

What’s most concerning to read is your experience with support. Feeling unheard, not getting issues resolved and being approached with sales conversations instead of solutions is not the experience we want any customer to have. I completely understand how that would lead to frustration, especially when you’re tied into a contract and relying on the system to support your operations.

I’d really value the opportunity to properly understand what’s been happening here and see if we can help turn this around for you. If you’re open to it, please reach out to me directly at taryn.schutzler@theaccessgroup.com. I’ll make sure this is looked into thoroughly and that you’re connected with the right people to address these issues.

Thank you again for being so honest - feedback like this is incredibly important, even when it’s difficult to hear.
