## Trustpilot Reviews
 ### 1. Genuine Verified Reviews That Boost SEO Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Visal K. | Performance Marketing Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I like Trustpilot as the most genuine Review platform. All the reviews are from verified users, and only verified users can put a review on the listings. It IS one of the quickest indexed review listings for our business, SEO visibility is one of its major advantages. Easy to set up with greater accessibility and quick verification with the Domain email verification option. Simple onboarding procedure is one of its greatest advantages; no support or assistance is needed for the verification process. Automated feedback collection feature and TrustWidgets are available on premium option.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

As a business-oriented review platform, it has premium features that can suppress negative customer reviews.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to improve our business online search presence. It helps to boost the SEO as it provides a backlink opportunity for business websites. Also its a great platform to showcase our customer testimonials to the client.

 ### 2. Trustpilot Builds Confidence with Reliable Reviews and an Easy-to-Use Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Willem S. | Property Practitioner, Real Estate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Trustpilot, according to me, has more reliable reviews than other review sites that I have visited. With their wide variety of companies and services, and is a go-to for making decisions on going to an unknown establishment for dinner, or using a mechanic that a friend recommended. The interface is easy to navigate and there is a blog section that informs visitors of trends and gives guidance on how to write reviews. Not only is it useful for the end-user but businesses get to see how their products and services they put into the market are received by their customers/client, giving them the opportunity to respond to the review - facilitating a channel to resolve instances where a product failed or a client isn't entirely satisfied. This enables better product development, increases service levels, and also gives Joe Public a voice against the Corporation, keeping Big Business accountable and responsible. Trustpilot gives me the confidence I need to try new things.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I generally actually like the site, and there isn't really anything that negatively stands out to me. A possible UI overhaul in aesthetics could modernise the experience, but that's really it.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trustpilot gives confidence to end-users to try new things, and keeps businesses accountable in the public square, enabling them to do and serve better.

 ### 3. Trustpilot: Boosting Confidence with Verified Reviews

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy W. | eCommerce Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I love how Trustpilot helps build trust by allowing people to read real users' reviews and share honest feedback. It's great for internal moderation, helping us identify areas for improvement and recognizing where we're excelling. I really like that it's easy for customers to sign up and leave a review. Also, the filtering system is very helpful for keeping track of one-star reviews, and email notifications alert us quickly, helping us address issues promptly. The integration with Slack is valuable too, allowing the whole company to stay updated and helping us put things right swiftly.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

It can be difficult sometimes to get reviews moderated by their system. That's something that holds us back sometimes. But generally, it's pretty fair if we can prove that a review has been left in error or there's something untrue about the review, then we can get them removed. But that's probably the hardest part of the system.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trustpilot builds trust by letting people read real user reviews, helping them make informed decisions about our company. It provides feedback for internal improvements and employee recognition. It verifies reviews, making our service appear legitimate, and alerts us to negative feedback for timely responses.

 ### 4. Powerful Review Automation and Insights, but Dashboards Can Feel Overwhelming

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Trustpilot has been invaluable for collecting and showcasing authentic customer feedback. The review collection tools make it easy to request reviews via email, SMS, or automated campaigns, saving hours of manual follow-ups. I particularly appreciate the customizable widgets and dashboards, which allow us to display reviews directly on our website and monitor trends in real time. An unexpected benefit has been the ability to respond to reviews quickly, helping us improve customer satisfaction and address concerns proactively.

UI / UX:
Using Trustpilot day-to-day is smooth and intuitive. Navigating between dashboards, reviews, and analytics is straightforward, and the layout makes it easy to find actionable insights quickly.

Integrations:
Trustpilot integrates well with e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and email marketing tools. Connecting it to our existing stack was simple, and automated workflows now ensure review requests reach customers at the optimal time.

Performance:
The platform is reliable and fast, even when handling large volumes of reviews and analytics data. Reports and dashboards load quickly, making it easy to track performance and trends without delays.

Pricing / ROI:
Trustpilot offers good value for the price. The automated review collection and display tools save significant time, and the impact on customer trust and conversions has been measurable. For our team, the ROI is clear: we gain both actionable insights and a stronger online reputation without manual effort.

Support / Onboarding:
Getting started was straightforward. Documentation, webinars, and customer support made onboarding smooth, and the team has been responsive whenever we needed guidance on integrations or best practices.

AI / Intelligence:
Trustpilot’s AI features, like review analysis and sentiment tracking, are particularly useful. They automatically highlight trends, recurring issues, and customer sentiment, allowing us to prioritize improvements and respond faster to negative feedback.

Overall:
Trustpilot streamlines the process of collecting, monitoring, and acting on customer reviews. Its combination of intuitive UI, automation, integrations, and AI-driven insights makes it an essential tool for improving customer trust and engagement.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

While Trustpilot is a powerful tool for collecting and showcasing reviews, it can sometimes feel overwhelming to manage a large volume of feedback, especially when responding individually to negative reviews. The analytics and reporting dashboards, while comprehensive, can be a bit complex for new users, making it harder to quickly extract actionable insights. Additionally, some integrations require extra configuration or third-party tools, which can slow down setup for teams without dedicated technical resources.

Potential improvements:
Simplifying the dashboard interface, offering more pre-built reporting templates, and streamlining integration setup would make the platform even more user-friendly while maintaining its powerful features.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Trustpilot, we struggled with collecting consistent and authentic customer feedback. Reviews were scattered across emails, social media, and other platforms, making it difficult to track customer sentiment or showcase credibility online. We also spent a lot of time manually requesting feedback and following up with customers.

After implementing Trustpilot, we can automate review requests, collect feedback in one place, and display it directly on our website and marketing channels. We struggled with scattered feedback and low review volume, but now we can gather a steady stream of authentic reviews, respond quickly to concerns, and monitor trends—which has resulted in a 50% increase in published reviews and improved customer trust.

Additionally, Trustpilot’s sentiment analysis and reporting tools allow us to identify recurring issues and make data-driven improvements, reducing negative experiences and improving overall customer satisfaction. Overall, the platform has streamlined feedback collection, saved hours of manual work weekly, and strengthened our brand reputation.

 ### 5. User-Friendly Platform with Room for Customer Support Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave L. | Senior Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

TrustPilot is an easy to use platform and one of the many "go to" sites that are on the web these days allowing viewers to read other's reviews of software, products, and just about anything. I've used it a limited number of times, and have found the responses to be fairly quick when reviews are submitted.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

The one time I had to deal with their customer support team, they weren't that helpful at first. It took something like 4 tries before we managed to get anywhere in resolving the issue I had.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing myself and others to review products and/or services that they have purchased. It benefits me as a lot of reviews have good details so I can see what people think, why they're rating things as they are. I don't always trust "professional" reviews, and prefer these from regular individuals.

 ### 6. Efficient Feedback Collection with Moderation Challenges

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavel M. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I really appreciate Trustpilot's excellent tools for gathering and integrating feedback into our project workflows. The automation feature in Trustpilot has been a game changer, enabling us to set up what used to be manually labor-intensive processes—like email campaigns and feedback collection—automatically within the software. This has greatly reduced the need for manual intervention by our support representatives, freeing up their time for other essential tasks. Furthermore, setting up Trustpilot was incredibly easy and efficient; it took just about half an hour to complete, requiring minimal effort from my team to claim our domain, provide some basic information, and add graphics. Overall, Trustpilot enhances our efficiency in managing user reviews and supports our reputation management effectively.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I find Trustpilot's review moderation process to be overly aggressive, which can be quite stressful. The review validation procedure often requires users to send screenshots or additional proof through random emails, which is not well-received. The communication around this process tends to be poor, adding to the discomfort experienced by users.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trustpilot for automating feedback collection, integrating reviews into project workflows, and streamlining reputation management effortlessly.

 ### 7. Very inconsistent moderation in my experience

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kari C. | Content & Training Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

It’s easy to leave a review and most companies are already there, so you can quickly check opinions.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

My experience with moderation was quite confusing. One of my reviews was accepted, then a few days later I got a message asking for proof. I sent the proof, it was approved again, and then later I received another message saying it could be removed. After I asked for clarification, it was published again. It feels a bit unpredictable.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can still give a general idea about a company, but because of this experience I’m not sure how consistent the system is, so I don’t fully rely on it.

 ### 8. The Most Honest Review Site with Great Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed S. | Head of market analysis, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

The most important thing about Trustpilot it's the most honest review website

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Easy and very simple to use after login you can write the name of the company then read or add your experiences and great customer support

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The "Shady Broker" Problem: In industries like Forex and Fintech, it’s easy for a company to look professional on their website but disappear when you try to withdraw funds. Trustpilot provides a public paper trail of real user experiences.

Review Manipulation: Unlike a company’s own website (where they can delete negative comments), Trustpilot is an independent third party. They use AI and behavioral analysis to flag "fake" reviews, meaning businesses can't easily hide their flaws.

Shortens the Sales Cycle: When you reach out to a new IB or an educational center, the first thing they do is "Google" you. A strong Trustpilot score acts as a pre-emptive voucher. It does the heavy lifting of building trust before you even have your first meeting.

Validates Your "Pro" Claims: You can tell a client your spreads are 0.0 pips, but when they see 50 other traders on Trustpilot saying the same thing, it becomes a fact rather than a sales pitch.

 ### 9. Expensive platform with no transparency

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

High SEO rankings for branded keyword searches

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Insanely high pricing for commoditized features. Extremely poor moderation policies offering no transparency as to why they allow unverified reviews to show up publicly and any attempt to challenge what appears to be fake or unverified reviews are met with boiler plate response. Apparently they use AI, not humans to validate reviews and don't require ANY proof from customers submitting negative or positive reviews for a business.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They create more problems than they solve

 ### 10. Difficult to trust the review system

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fanette S. | Digital Content & Learning Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

The platform is easy to use and many companies have pages there, so it’s simple to check feedback quickly.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

What makes me uncomfortable is the way moderation works. I’ve seen reviews disappear while very short positive comments remain visible. If you look at the page where people review Trustpilot itself, you can often see extremely short positive messages like “Great” or “Amazing” appearing regularly. For me this makes the system feel less transparent.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can still give a rough idea of public opinion about a company, but I personally don’t rely on it alone when trying to evaluate a product or service.

 ### 11. Frustrating Experience with Poor Support

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morino R. | Owner, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I appreciate the overall look of the Trustpilot website, which provides a user-friendly and attractive interface. This aspect, along with the generally reliable reviews, offers a trustworthy foundation for assessing businesses. The legitimate reviews serve as a solid stepping stone towards making informed decisions about whether to engage with certain businesses, helping me gauge their reliability effectively. This feature is valuable as it combines aesthetics with practical use, thereby enhancing my decision-making process.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I stopped working with Trustpilot because they suspended my account. Their customer support is absolutely horrible and atrocious. My account was suspended due to claims of unusual activity, despite there being no such activity. They provided no elaboration on what the problem was, nor is there an appeal process to contest the suspension. The lack of communication and support led me to discontinue using the service, and I would not recommend Trustpilot to others.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trustpilot to gain clarity on the reliability of businesses, helping me decide whether to engage with them.

 ### 12. Great for Tracking Performance and Customer Feedback, but Policies Can Be Restrictive

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I can track performance over time and get quick responses. It helps me identify problems, listen to customers, and make changes and improvements to our product.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

The policies can be not very business-friendly at times, and this ends up impacting the business.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me listen to customer problems and address them, which in turn increases our customer satisfaction.

 ### 13. Great for Collecting Reviews, But Google Visibility Can Feel Like a Push

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Remy d. | Digital Marketing Manager, Retail, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Good tooling to collect customer reviews about your company and to get them distributed in Google in a good way

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Their dominance in Google pushes you to use Trustpilot to make sure they don't only display bad reviews about your company online

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collecting reviews from customers and displaying them to the outside world in a structured and easy way.

 ### 14. Strange moderation, not very consistent

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amedee A. | Digital Learning & Process Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

It’s easy to find companies and read reviews. The platform is simple and widely used.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

In my experience moderation feels inconsistent. Sometimes detailed reviews don’t get approved or stay without response, while very short comments are still visible. Because of this it’s hard to understand how reviews are evaluated.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can give a general idea about a company, but I personally don’t fully rely on it when trying to make a decision, as I’m not always confident in how objective the reviews are.

 ### 15. User-Friendly Platform with Room for Dispute Process Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moses .

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I find Trustpilot user-friendly and well-organized, which makes it easy to filter and read different opinions. This helps me make informed decisions with greater confidence and reduces the risk of choosing unreliable companies. The initial setup was simple and easy.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I don't like the dispute resolution process. It could use clearer timelines and a faster response window.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trustpilot for researching companies, giving me an impression of reliability and service quality. It's user-friendly, organized, easy to filter, and helps me make informed decisions with greater confidence, reducing the risk of choosing unreliable companies.

 ### 16. Terrible Platform with Dishonest Reviews That They Won't Remove

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

That people can post reviews. I've posted good and bad ones.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I had a company I did business with scam me and I reviewed them on TrustPilot. This company (talkwithlead.com) tried to get me to remove the review. They said they'd return all the money they stole from me. I told them no. They started a spam attack against me (tens of thousands of emails) and they spammed probably as many others saying I was contacting them and I wanted a good TrustPilot review. Of course I got a lot of negative reviews. They also tried to say I was doing something illegal. That's the only review I got TP to remove. The rest they left. I'm now trying to get the reviews removed 4 years later. No chance. Their site doesn't work when I try to reach them and they are very slow to respond to other messages. Terrible company with way too much power. Their SEO is excellent, so if you Google any company their review will come up. They should be shut down by the government. They are not a good judge of what makes a good company.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None that I can think of. I think they create problems.

 ### 17. Trustpilot Led Me to the Right Choice

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan S. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I can search the product so easily, and the interface allows me to check every review; nothing is hidden, that's what I love most about the platform

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Not countable, my desire might not be their weakness!

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've purchased a product filter for my WooCommerce store, the purchase decision was based on Trustpilot reviews, so it's the platform that assist me to make a good decision, it also save my times in various way. This review is a thanks giving message to the Trustpilot team, Thank you for your service

 ### 18. Unfair review removal and poor response time

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathon C. | Cosmetologist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

The idea of having a transparent review platform is great in theory. It’s useful when it works properly and lets real users share their experiences.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I posted my review on September 30, and it was deleted without explanation. I even sent a screenshot confirming I’m a real user, but got no proper response - just an automatic message saying they’re busy. If screenshots are required, why not let users attach them right away? It feels like many genuine reviews never get published.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now, it’s not solving anything - instead, it creates frustration. A platform that’s supposed to support honest feedback should be more open and responsive.

 ### 19. Can't even link to your Trustpilot profile without paying $3588 per year. Absurd!

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick M. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

They have a free plan that allows you to collect reviews manually

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

You can't do practically anything with the free plan. They have one free widget which doesn't even list your review rating.

So.. we made a custom graphic. NOPE - against policy!
Ok.. so we'll just add a text link that says see our 5 star reviews. NOPE - against policy!

Ok... let's just upgrade our plan so we can display our 5 star reviews using their official widgets. Surely it must just be a few dollars per month right? NOPE - $339 / month or $299/month billed annually ($3,588!) is what you have to pay to display your reviews on your website. I'm sorry, but that is absolutely absurd pricing for just a basic feature.

Also, they start you at 3.5 stars. Even if you only have perfect 5 star reviews such as us (we have 12)... its still not enough to warrant a 5 star rating. We're still only at 4.4 stars right now. So customers coming to your trustpilot profile for a while will think there is something wrong with your business even though you have a perfect rating in reality. If you're going to use this system (add some sort of note that makes it clear how it works).

By the way, at $339/month, how many review invites do you get through their system? 200. That's it. That's $1.70 per review invite. No email platform charges even close to that amount. Absurd.

I would not have used Trustpilot if I knew these things from the start.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TrustPilot was supposed to be solving the issue of having a public / objective measure of trust for our business. However, they prevent you from gathering reviews easily and showcasing it on your site without paying an arm and a leg

 ### 20. Small Businesses Beware: Skewed Ratings Can Hurt Your Reputation

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Some extra tools other platforms don’t have

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

SMALL BUSINESSES BEWARE. They start out your score with 7 3.5-star reviews. They don’t make this very apparent before you start requesting reviews. So even if you get a few 5-star reviews, and no negative review, they’ll still publish a terrible-looking score — until you have a huge number of 5-star reviews. Small businesses might take a long time to amass a lot of reviews. In the meantime, the artificially negatively skewed rating will hurt your online reputation. AVOID unless your business is big enough to VERY quickly get dozens 5-star reviews.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Another place where people can post reviews

 ### 21. Clear, Aesthetic Layout—But the Flagging Feature Feels Too Harsh

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Easy format to navigate, clear and aesthetic layout

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

The flagging feature seems biased and too harsh against the company

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s a solid review aggregation tool. I’m able to view overall customer sentiment and quickly see which issues keep recurring across reviews.

 ### 22. Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch from strove registration campaing

 ### 25. This Platform will Kill Your Business Unless you have Big Pocket

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mehavarunan S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

There is nothing to like about this platform as it's a pure business killer to make money themself.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Business killer with their useless algorithm and stupid policies that they follow for free profiles. You won't have any control on your negative feedback from unknown peoples who never intracted with your business before. When you flag it, they will come up with stupid algorithm concept and say they can remove the review. Also, they won't remove your business page aswell.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a nightmare platform you signup as a business owner where unknown peoples will review your businesses, but this platform will mail you by stating it a genuine feedback from customer. I would strongly recommend not to use this platform to safeguard your businesses.

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Above average but no outstanding features

The layout and design feel a bit outdated.

 ### 33. Easy to Navigate, But Trustpilot Reviews Need Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kajol S. | Digital Marketing Head, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I am able to find most of the information I need about everything on their website. The website is easy to navigate and use.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

The reviews and recommendations on Trustpilot are not always correct and dependable. Most of the time, they are fake.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am currently facing issues with product reviews. They need to genuinely look at the credibility of the user reviews, then post them.

 ### 34. The Gold Standard in Sham Transparency™

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davide C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

In theory, it’s a great idea: an open review platform where customers and businesses can interact transparently. In reality, it’s like applauding a magic show while your wallet disappears. The design is clean, sure—but beyond that, it's hard to find something genuinely helpful if you're a vendor.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Where to begin? If you're a retailer, you're permanently cast as the villain. Policies are vague, moderation is inconsistent, and decisions are opaque. Trustpilot has perfected the art of leaving vendors in the dark while pretending to champion “trust.” It's the BBB all over again—profitable, performative, and unaccountable.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If the goal was to test my patience and lower my faith in third-party platforms, then mission accomplished. As a tool for “Online Reputation Management,” Trustpilot mostly creates reputational fires and offers a paper fan to put them out. The benefit? I now understand why brands build their own review systems.

 ### 35. Price is insanely high

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric P. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Their website widget is great for showing your reviews/ranking to help build trust.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

We were paying TrustPilot $70/month, then our bill suddenly jumped to $380/month for the same service. When we contacted them about it (and escalated it), they said, Well, we sent you an email about renewing at the new price. They refuse to cancel our service until the "contract" that auto-renewed at a new price expires. Sorry, I don't read every one of the many emails they send... so, now I'm stuck with a huge bill for a year that I can't afford... and I only use 5% of the services they offer :(
Buyers beware.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping to build trust for new visitors who are unfamiliar with my company. The widget shows my reviews and ranking to help give new visitors a sense that we are trustworthy.

I don't like that you can't go back to older reviews to integrate into a graphic.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us send out email to verified customers

 ### 38. Horrible company that is exactly the opposite of trustworthy

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Nothing, they would not exist if they did not abuse the trademarks of other companies.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Trustpilot abuses the good will of companies and their trademark. Once you have been added to their 'platform' it is impossible to have yourself removed. They claim this is allowed under the fair use of trademarks, however their entire business model is to PROFIT from your trademark.

The content integrity team is a joke, Trustpilot is littlered with hundreds of thousands of fake reviews, both good and bad. You can provide them evidence all day long that a review is fake and as long as the email is valid and the reviewe responds they will leave the review online. Trustpilot also acts like extortionists when it comes to the reviews that they claim to not 'own' but yet if you pay them thousands of dollars you can make your profile look better.

This company is a disgrace and profits off the back of hard working companies.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They aren't, I never asked to signup for this product, but you have to make an account to respond to reviews and you have to agree to their garbage terms to do so. It's very suspect on how they operate. Anyone at all can "make" a company, but once it's made, good luck!

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the feedback. We don’t delete business profile pages from Trustpilot as it's consumers who decide which businesses are reviewed on Trustpilot, and we believe their reviews hold useful information for shoppers and businesses alike.

A business profile page is automatically created when someone searches for the business's web address on our platform, or it can be added from the search results page. Consumers can then start posting reviews about their recent experience with the business.

Regarding your comment about fake reviews - we do lots to protect our platform from them. If you ever see a review that breaks the rules and our team hasn't caught it yet, please let us know so we can investigate ASAP.

Thanks,
The Trustpilot Team

 ### 39. Industry-Standard Customer Reviews with Customisable Widgets

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

industry standard for public customer reviews; customisation in widget for web development

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

affects performance and ranking of websites

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we wanted to have a common source of reviews/comments without building a dedicated platform for it

 ### 40. Trustpilot doesn't trust the businesses that pay them but overall good

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Just the integrations were easy to setup. Features are good such as analytics, invite users.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Their support is always delayed and they never respond in our favor even if we make a strong case, also one issue gets multiple different responses

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trustpilot at this point is not solving problems but increasing it by allowing users to review us who never used the services, not sure whats their take on fake reviews as they do allow fake reviews up there.

 ### 41. Trustpilot’s Business Model Feels Like a Trap

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik O. | Ecommerce and CRM manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Trustpilot’s platform is well-known. The integration options are solid, and the basic functionality does what it promises.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Trustpilot’s aggressive renewal tactics and lack of transparency make them a risky partner for any business. They enforce automatic renewals at drastically increased prices without proper consent, and their support team does little to resolve disputes fairly. Instead of building relationships with long-term customers, their focus seems to be on locking businesses into overpriced contracts with little flexibility.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trustpilot provides a platform for collecting and displaying customer reviews, but the way they treat us makes it hard to be enthusiastic about its features.

 ### 42. Best review portal but high prices

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luca G. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Ease of use and implementation. Great dashboard analytics.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Pricing too high and no plans for small business.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Social proof for e-commerce

 ### 43. if you are a business, stay away from ever getting this service

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo G. | VP Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

We could not find any, we claim our profile on good faith but it has been a disaster

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

if you are a business, stay away from ever getting this service. They will lower your score if you don't get reviews, even if you have all 5 stars reviews, if they are old they bring it to 3 to coerce into buying their "premium" service. Trying to fight fake reviews it's useless and once you get a review there it will ruin your reputation, stick to Google reviews, no reason to use 3rd party. I left a bad review on TrustPilot and they removed my review because they said it's "fake" so they don't even accept bad reviews for themselves, these people are unbelievable, stay away!

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It didn't solve any problems. We recently received a fake review of a person that gave 5 tars to our competitor and 1 star to us, she didn't buy anything from us and the negative review wasn't even about our products or services, we thought it was an easy review to flag it but TrustPilot didn't do anything about it, after days of sending proof that it was fake they said that with their "technology" their determined that it was not fake.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Ricardo,

Thanks for sharing this and bringing your experience to our attention. We’d like to clarify a few things to ensure there’s no confusion. Firstly, with the TrustScore. Our TrustScore calculation doesn’t lower scores arbitrarily. Here’s a bit more detail on how it works:

A TrustScore is calculated on a scale from 1 to 5. For businesses with less than 10,000 reviews, the overall TrustScore is recalculated immediately after a new review is posted. For businesses with more than 10,000 reviews, TrustScore recalculation happens once per day, since the TrustScore will not change as quickly once this threshold is reached.

The formula for calculation considers three factors: time span, frequency, and Bayesian average.

-Time span. A TrustScore gives more weight to newer reviews, and less to older ones. The most recent review holds the most weight, since newer reviews give more insight into current customer satisfaction.

-Frequency. Businesses should continuously collect reviews to maintain their TrustScore. Because the most recent review holds the most weight, a TrustScore will be more stable if reviews are coming in regularly.

-Bayesian average. We use a Bayesian average in the calculation, to make sure that a business with fewer reviews starts off with a balanced TrustScore. This means that we automatically include the value of 7 reviews worth 3.5 stars each in all TrustScore calculations. As a business collects more reviews, this becomes a smaller factor in the calculation.

When it comes to fake reviews - we have 0 tolerance towards them and do lots to protect our platform from them. If a review breaks the rules that our team or software hasn't caught, you can always flag this in your business dashboard and our team will investigate. If our team finds that the review seriously breaks the rules, action will be taken.

As for your personal review, we absolutely want you to be able to share your experiences — just within our guidelines. If you believe your review was wrongly removed, please reach out to our Content Integrity team. They’re here to help and can take another look.

It sounds like you've had a frustrating experience, and that's definitely not what we aim for. If you'd like to discuss this further or share more details, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly.

Thanks,
The Trustpilot Team

 ### 44. excellent platform for evaluation and of companies and all market niches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camilo D. | Empreendedor Digital, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Another tier has an amazing feature that business owners can claim reviews on their website and it's trusted companies who have claimed their website reviews on Trustpilot as this is very important for businesses.
great experience overall amazing using really different Trustpilot software.
They allowed us several tools to review emails for suspicious job offers, companies and more.
By providing these tools, we can prevent people from being scammed over and over again, potentially saving money in the process.
Trustpilot is extremely safe and friendly.
It is easy to navigate and provides us with clear, honest and trustworthy answers or reviews.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

There really was almost nothing I didn't like about Trustpilot.
Now the interaction between supplier and customer must be a key component in understanding customer needs and assuring the customer that the reason for their customer dissatisfaction has been resolved through the process of improving the product(s) or service(s).
There isn't much interaction, with the Trustpilot software and Google ratings this should be improved.
If there was any AI built into the Trustpilot software that would help create messages for customers, that would be a great experience.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

The amazing Trustpilot Software to increase your confidence as a customer.
Trustpilot is a well-known testing software that makes it efficient and effective in all contexts.
When all users read reviews on Trustpilot, they know they are a legitimate and fair review of the company.
As a user I always rely on Trustpilot to see how reliable the company is and what other users have experienced with this company and this is very important and critical.
It also allows companies to respond to slightly less complete reviews, giving users confidence that reviews are considered, which is very important.
With a very strong set of features and the ability to communicate directly with customers is amazing, customers can express their thoughts on how the service is being done or give ideas on how the company can improve as they are always open to new ways. to think and improve and evolve.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trustpilot software has the most robust feature set and the ability to contact customers directly, rather than just through the website itself, where they are unlikely to see the comment right away.
an excellent experience, i like to read reviews to better choose software products for my business.
Definitely excellent software, I conclude that Trustpilot is reliable, amazing and very secure!

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Camilo,

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us. It's great to know that you've been enjoying using our platform and have put your trust into Trustpilot.

We will be sure to pass along your feedback around AI to our product and development teams to look into. We hope you will continue to enjoy using Trustpilot going forward!

Thanks,

 ### 46. Expensive, Lack Features and Aggressive Spam Filters..

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Desislav K. | SEO Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

The free version gives you 100 invites per month.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

It becomes realy hard to move to another provided. Its expensive and they want at least 12 months contract without even giving you a week trial.

On the top of that, don't expect from them to do anything if you receive unfair negative reviews like. I mean, they will not let you move a product review to a product page and leave in your services page.

They will also filer 100% legit reviews from verified customers for no reason and with no option to appeal, but will make sure to put on the top your negative reviews even if you have positive once that are more recent.

I switched to other provider with much better flexability and features. Trustpilot simply lacks any feature at all.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gave me an option to have Google Ratings

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Desislav,

Thanks for the review and sharing it here with us. We just wanted to clear the air on a few pieces of feedback mentioned. To start - we ask all businesses to cancel within the terms of their contracts. If you ever have any questions about this, your Account Manager would be happy to help.

We also do offer an option to dispute a decision about a review. Our CI Team always strives to make the right decisions in applying our guidelines fairly and consistently across the board. However, sometimes our team makes the wrong call. If you think our Content Integrity Team has made a mistake when handling any of your reviews, you can always let us know via our Decision Dispute Process form here https://support.trustpilot.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=4466991565586.

Reviews can be flagged if they break the rules. If a reviewer thinks their review was wrongly flagged, they can always follow up with our Content Integrity Team to look into further.

With all that being said, we will be taking in your feedback and passing it along to the relevant teams to look into for the future.

 ### 47. Trustpilot is not to be trusted

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

In theory, it sounds good. They seem to be the good guys who help us stay away from scammy services and companies. But I found out from my own experience that their system is flawed, and scam companies have found ways around it.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

The service is clearly not functioning properly, as scam companies like Galileo FX (galileofx.com) have found ways to thrive with the help of companies like Trustpilot.

Here's my firsthand and unbiased experience: I was searching for a trading bot, and Galileo FX appeared in my search results. I looked for reviews about this service, and Trustpilot displayed thousands of positive reviews, most of them with 5 stars. I admit that I was naive and rushed into purchasing Galileo FX services worth around $1,000.

I tested their product for a couple of months, using the settings they advertised on their website, in various market conditions. However, the bot consistently lost money. Then, I started paying attention and noticed people on Facebook and Trustpilot writing negative reviews about Galileo FX. All of these reviews were removed within a few days.

My conclusion is that the results Galileo FX presented on their website are falsified. I used the exact same settings (and tried many more) for extensive periods of time, and the results were nowhere near what they advertised.

Subsequently, I wrote an honest review on Trustpilot, warning other potential victims. But to my surprise, Galileo FX appealed to Trustpilot, and my review was removed. I am certain that the 2,000+ five-star reviews were written by people paid by Galileo FX, as their software clearly does not work as advertised.

While I don't have the time to take legal action against Galileo FX, I do want to caution people about Trustpilot: their system is deeply flawed, and companies like Galileo FX are taking advantage of it to build a positive reputation. If Trustpilot is an ethical company, it should investigate this matter. However, I am almost certain that they are aware of these practices.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The service is not working as it should.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Daniel,

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. We certainly want you to be able to share your experiences on our platform - we just ask that these stay within our guidelines or they can be flagged. If you're having trouble with a review, our team would be happy to help if you get in touch!

Thanks,

 ### 49. Disappointing Service and Misleading Practices

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Furniture | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

They have a fairly good website design. a

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

As a customer, I expect a certain level of sincerity and professionalism from companies, especially those that promote genuine customer experiences. Unfortunately, my interactions with this company have been utterly disappointing, characterized by a lack of real communication and a failure to adhere to their own stated guidelines.

I approached the company with a serious concern that directly contradicted their community guidelines. Rather than receiving a thoughtful response, I was met with robotic, automated replies. These messages, which were ostensibly translated into Danish, failed to address the specific issues I raised. It's perplexing and frustrating to receive a response in a language that suggests no genuine effort to understand my initial communication.

Furthermore, the company's reliance on automated responses underlines a significant gap between their professed values and actual practices. It's disheartening to see a company talk about authenticity and customer engagement, only to hide behind generic, automated messages that offer no real solutions or acknowledgments of the problem.

The irony is that their replies often reference their guidelines and rules, which, from my experience, they don't seem to follow themselves. This contradiction not only undermines their credibility but also highlights a worrying lack of accountability.

For a company that is part of a platform like Trustpilot, which is designed to foster transparency and honest feedback, this behavior is particularly concerning. It's essential for such platforms to represent companies that genuinely interact and engage with their customers. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience.

In conclusion, I am left with a sense of profound disappointment and frustration. The service I received was far from the sincere, problem-solving approach I expected. If the company is genuinely interested in improving and upholding its standards, I urge them to reevaluate their customer interaction strategies and start practicing what they preach. Until then, I can only advise others to approach this company with caution.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They do not solve any issues for me, they only create them.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi,

Thanks for sharing and we're truly sorry to hear about your experience so far. We'd love to look into this further with our team. If you could leave us with some more information about your account, we can look into this more with our team.
