# This company is not honest. This company is not honest. It's all deceitful and fake. I noticed many figures on my account weren't adding up, so a little investigation revealed they were helping themselves to my investment. I found this disturbing and wanted out, but they made it difficult. # Divergences between evaluations -- TrustPilot & Shopper Approved I find it interesting that the evaluations of a company by TrustPilot & Shopper Approved can diverge massively. See, for example this one, https://www.trustpilot.com/review/ultrasabers.com compared to this one https://www.shopperapproved.com/reviews/Ultrasabers.com . The former gives 80% of Bad, the latter 77% of five stars. These are almost exact inversions. Is this a pattern? ##### Post Metadata

# Anyone else found fake Trustpilot reviews against their website When I found fake negative reviews against my website on various platforms all but Trustpilot responded quickly (48hrs) it took posting on Linkedin and taking screenshots gathering examples to get Trustpilot to investigate. After 6 months of "investigation" by Trustpilots head of compliance it revealed a much more serious issue of data protection - who was hacking Trustpilot reviewer accounts to leave fake reviews for a competitor ? If it was the competitor it is a compliance and data protection issue. If it is Trustpilot it is a Trust and compliance issue. Either way I realised I was not the only company website owner being #Trustjacked I have helped many victims of the #fieldsdatrecoveryscam what was shocking is that Trustpilot will actually go out of their way to prevent victims of scams being able to leave a review. ##### Post Metadata

# A risk calling for a solution Like everything in life; we have a plus side and naturally comes a down side as well. It can never be peaches and roses otherwise this would be to easy. The only noticeable irritation with reviews, is that occasionally you'll get those certain types who contribute nothing to your business, but in fact chose to purposely make a scene out of nothing because they know the effects reviews has on another business. Some attempt this nasty behavior due to Jealousy, others as a personal vendetta.... I do feel strongly about the fact, that something needs to be implemented with the concept of reviews and whom is allowed to conclude or air such reviews. Reason I say this; I had to cancel Guests at my Guesthouse not so long due to unforeseen reasons, and the situation could not be mended as such. So we ended up finding another nearby Guesthouse for the Guests and all seemed well and they appeared happy. 2 hours later I receive a review on my web page, from these people who I had to cancel. # Is Trustpilot a global or only United States specific product review platform? Any chances of making it a global product review platform for products and services that originate from other countries as I see only countries participating in it. The platform has a database of a product's or service's official website than the product or service itself. Why is that so? What about the products or services that do not have an official website? How are those products listed on the Trustpilot platform? How reliable is the information (reviews) available on the Trustpilot platform?
