**What do you like best about Soldo?**

The interface is very clear and the funds reach the wallets very quickly compared to other solutions that sit on the funds for hours. Our account manager is very quick to respond to queries and the the tech team has taken on board some of our ideas, especially to make it easier to down load reports or just grab the data that's on your screen.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

The issuing of new cards hasn't been handled very well in the past with cards going to the wrong destination. I'm not happy that we get charged to reissue an expired physical card as that's not our doing.

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is providing a petty cash solution for us. Also we use it as a way to deliver client money. We have about 1,000 customers who are unable to manage their own finances and we hold their money on their behalf. Through Soldo we can have their cash with them in a matter of minutes.

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

The platform is very user-friendly, with a variety of payment solutions that meet different needs (physical and virtual cards, expense reimbursement, recurring subscription management, etc.). The ability to customize users, cards, and wallets gives us immense flexibility. Support is fast and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

Virtual cards are not accepted on all technological platforms because they are identified as prepaid cards. In other competing solutions, the cards are always accepted, even though they are not credit cards either.

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The possibility of using the wallets to create spending budgets for different functional areas and being able to manage them with individualized ceilings and use this customization to better classify expenses into their respective cost centers.

  ### 3. Effortlessly Manage Funds and Analyze Spend

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

I like that Soldo is so easy to use, making it quick to train employees and simple to pull off the reports I need. The ability to upload receipts easily either from files or by taking a photo is ideal for our users, especially since they have the app on their phones for use during business travel. Changing to Soldo from GPC cards was a no-brainer due to the ease of reconciling expenses.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

Because it is easy to use, it does have limitations as to what you can do with it. For example, we have to get approvals for additional top-ups outside of the system. It would be great if you could set up the business workflow so it could alert the budget holder to ask for permission to top up funds. There is an auto alert feature for missing details, but when we used this it would send alerts for £0 transactions which was frustrating. I also don't think it could pick up if there was a note missing which is now a requirement in our organization. We couldn't get an integration, so it is a manual process for us to extract the data and put it in our finance system.

Soldo lets me distribute funds to cardholders and analyze business spend efficiently. It's quick to train employees, easy to pull reports, and simplifies receipt uploads during travel, making it ideal for our users.

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

I really appreciate Soldo for replacing our monthly cash disbursements with Soldo Cards, which saves a lot of time that we used to spend getting cash from the bank and distributing it to the houses. The bulk Transfer functionality is a game changer since it allows us to allocate funds to the cards in just a few minutes, and it also provides a clear trail of where the money is being spent. The transaction level detail is impressive, helping us ensure that spending occurs within the locality of the houses on appropriate items. The ease of transfers to the cards has significantly improved our workflow. Setting up Soldo was easy, and I got great help from Alan, who was very patient and helpful. I rate the system a 10 out of 10 for its effectiveness.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

The households can't see what money has been transferred into the wallet, so they sometimes ask how much has been transferred to them. Maybe that could be improved.

Soldo saves us time by replacing cash disbursements with cards and bulk transfers. It provides a clear spending trail and helps ensure funds are used appropriately in the right locations.

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

The platform is intuitive, transactions sync quickly, and expense tracking is straightforward for both staff and finance teams and it makes managing company spending. The key benefits are the real-time visibility of spending, the ability to control budgets through individual or team cards, and the seamless integration with accounting systems. It saves time, reduces manual reconciliation, and improves overall financial oversight.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

There are a couple of areas where I think Soldo could improve. For example, on the wallet dashboard, when transactions or cash withdrawals are made in a different currency, it would be much more helpful to see the actual amount withdrawn in the local currency rather than only in the wallet currency. Although the local currency amount appears when exporting reports, it isn’t fully reliable because it includes bank fees and FX charges. As a result, the finance team still needs to do manual reconciliation, which could be avoided with more precise and transparent currency reporting within the dashboard.

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Soldo solves the challenge of managing company spending in a controlled, transparent, and efficient way. It eliminates the need for manual expense claims, reduces the use of personal funds by staff, and provides real-time visibility over transactions. This helps us keep tighter control of budgets, speeds up month-end processing, and significantly reduces the administrative workload for the finance team. The ability to set limits, track spending instantly, and automate reconciliation has made our expense management far more accurate and efficient.

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

I like how Soldo simplifies and controls spending by allowing me to see everything in real time. Instead of chasing receipts or waiting for reimbursement, it's all properly tracked and organized for Finance. My favorite feature is issuing cards to employees while being able to set limits and view the list of transactions, which means no surprises at month end and no overspending. It removes manual work and makes expense management simple and transparent. Additionally, Soldo allows Finance to pre-approve spending by controlling access to funds, preventing bad spending and reducing policy violations. It offers real-time visibility of cash flow and helps in faster month-end closing, allowing unusual spends to be spotted instantly. Also, the initial setup was very easy, requiring just an email address, phone number, and roles to be assigned.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

Occasional reports of card being declined or getting blocked. Making the system more proactive - preventing declines before they happen.

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

I really appreciate the ability to sync with QuickBooks, which makes my job easier by saving time and reducing manual input. Soldo's ease of use on both desktop and mobile platforms is a big plus for me. As an admin, I value having full control over the functions, including assigning and creating users for different wallets with varying levels of access. The customization options such as different wallets for departments and sub-level card assignments are features I greatly appreciate. The initial setup was very easy once the training was completed, helping me understand the dynamics quickly.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

I dislike that Google and Meta do not accept it as a payment card.

I get the team to upload receipts on the spot, automatically syncing with QuickBooks, filling in nominal codes, department, and VAT, reducing manual posting.

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

I like Soldo because it takes away unnecessary stress when I'm traveling or even just doing grocery shopping or at the gas station. I appreciate not having to worry about whether payments will go through or how to claim things, which makes day-to-day expenses feel easy and hassle-free. I also like that I do not have to worry about using my own money from my bank account, and the limits are clear with everything already set up. Soldo comes in very handy, especially when I travel, allowing me to pay with USD rather than MUR.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

It would be helpful to get clearer reasons straight away when payments are declined. The initial setup was a headache as in Mauritius, we do not get the code easily, so I had to connect with the Soldo agents to be able to have the code.

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Soldo for everything, especially travel. It lets me pay with USD instead of MUR when travelling, easing stress about payments. I like not using my own money and appreciate how it simplifies day-to-day expenses effortlessly.

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

I really like the immediacy for recharging and the flexibility of usage limitations of Soldo. I also appreciate the control it offers, such as the ability to decide how much to make available to employees and to prohibit withdrawals and fuel purchases. It is useful to be able to prohibit certain geographical areas for protection against potential fraud. Furthermore, I find the receipt scanning function very convenient to attach for each expense. Even though I am not currently using the approval cycle, I know that the expense report could be filled out for reimbursement.

Soldo solves business budgeting problems, limits individual use, and offers flexibility. I can decide the funds available for employees and limit improper purchases. I appreciate the receipt scanning for every expense and the control over merchandise categories and geographical areas.

I find Soldo to be an incredibly user-friendly platform that makes financial management straightforward for our children's homes company. It's exceptionally easy to allocate money to various wallets, which is crucial for us since each home operates with its own budget. Uploading receipts is seamless, which simplifies our process significantly. Additionally, exporting transactions to QuickBooks, the platform we use, is effortless and saves us a lot of time. Compared to our previous system with Pleo, Soldo stands out due to its ability to create separate wallets for each home, allowing us to maintain distinct budgets without confusion. This feature is particularly appealing as it prevents the financial issues we experienced before where funds were pooled together. The initial setup of Soldo was very simple and user-friendly; if you can use a smartphone, you can navigate Soldo with ease. Overall, it feels like the perfect platform that aligns well with our operational needs.

Seperate license and cost for Admin seems to be little expensive. Good to have verification with Government ID's but can consider proof outside UK too

Its been used wisely today in our company to manage Employee Credit Cards and we are able to track End to End spend tracking

In our current process we have to see how to capture Expense details for all our Employees and by integrating the Soldo it has eased our work to minimal.

Would like the ability to change user names rather than having to ask Soldo personnel to change

- Soldo reduces manual work for our  finance team who were previously processing all payments manually (often through cheques)
Most payments are now automated, which leads to increase time available to perform other tasks
- Line managers have increased visibility on what their staff are spending, also ensures approvals for spending are much quicker and more efficient
- Reduced safety concerns from staff who no longer have to carry/store cash in locations

The mobile app is not very easy to use for super admins to switch between the user role and super admin role.

Soldo helps us to manage and review the spending of multiple departments with ease. It integrates with Xero which saves us time on reconciliations.

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

We recently completed the onboarding of Soldo as our new supplier for company cards used by our community based workforce. Their platform stood out for its ease of use, with both a web portal and mobile app, offering both virtual and plastic card options, and intuitive reporting and spend control capabilities. Transitioning to in-house support has enhanced our oversight, with end users reporting a very positive experience and our central support teams gaining detailed visibility of transactions not previously possible. The onboarding process was smooth, and the support team consistently provided prompt, efficient, and thorough assistance throughout.

Nothing, really. Everything seems to work well.

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

I like that Soldo allows me to make payments on one platform which are recorded. The transactions are clear, which is really helpful. I also appreciate the Soldo support team for being there when needed. Plus, I find the auto transaction fillers, like for transport, quite valuable.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

The approval center is confusing for users, and there are settings to remove certain restrictions.

I use Soldo for making payments on one platform, ensuring all transactions are clear and recorded.

SOLDO is an intuitive, flexible payment service that allows you to quickly and easily distribute funds to staff and end users. We find the system easy to use and monitor, the help and support received during implementation and set up was first class.

The amount of cash we order and distribute has been hugely reduced, and funds can be sent to end users in minutes.  Automated topups are a huge time saver and extremely flexible and convenient.

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

I appreciate thef lexibility of Soldo and the intuitive nature of the system. The presentation is professional and accessible and when I am sharing it with hundreds of colleagues I have faith that they see it as a professional and easy to use.

The customer support aspect from both a development perspective and the ad-hoc queries submitted through the chat function are great

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

Soldo is a flexible malleable system but it is let down by the inability to report. We have upgraded to Enterprise and I can now, for example, create bulk rules for cards - great! But I am unable to review this data to understand how many colleagues are in each group. This lack of insight means a lot of administration outside of the system.

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Soldo is solving the issue of collating evidence and coding transactions. Previously we received paper statements and the reconciliation was completed at the end of the month. This caused delays and missin details as staff mvoed on / lost or forgot evidence and coding. It is solving the problem of engaging non-finance staff with finance tasks

I like how easy it is for users to block the card etc., which is really good for Security. The customer support has been brilliant. I have always found it easy to get in contact with someone when I have needed it, and the implementation was made easy with the calls.

I have found it all very good. I found it slightly complicated at first, howeverm as i have used it I have found ti much easier and really like it.

Soldo does a really good job of automating petty cash processes and allows us to set up automatic top-ups and integration with our ERP system. This makes it an easy process for finance teams and allows us to refocus our time elsewhere.

I think there is potential for the reporting aspect to improve with Soldo. In this ever-changing world we are seeing visual reporting becoming more important and this further makes the process easier to use for the user if visual dynamics were in place.

It helps us to automate our petty cash process and this is freeing up a lot of our time to focus on managing spend and other jobs around the department.

The customer service provided by our relationship Manager is excellent, he provides hands on support which has been very helpful with the launch of Soldo card.Soldo are continously improving features. The platform and the app are easy to use.

Soldo Funds request feature should show which Card are the funds being requested for.
As we have about 400 card users, it can get difficult for us to contact them via email to request further information about the expense. It would be helpful if we could send an email or messgae regarding a transaction directly from Soldo portal.

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Card holders can write a description of the spend, allocate the relevant budget and gl code, upload receipts. This makes it easier for us to download the transaction report and record it in our Accounting system. However, as we have more than 400 users it is difficult for us to review each transaction's back up documents.

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

The soldo implemantation process was working fast and easy in cooperation with our coustomer success manager. We have been supported with training sessions for the admins and the users. The Soldo Web-console and the Soldo App are both very user friendly. The functions are easy to understand and to use. The differnet functions in the system give us the opportunity to create the account as we need it for our company with custom made roles and permissions, our own review process, custom made lists, reports etc. The Soldo team is always very helpful if something isn´t working or if I need help with anything in the system. The replys are very fast and always helpful. Our coustomer success manager Alex is working very closely with us and keeps us updated about new updates, new functions and improvements in the system.

I don´t have anything that I dislike about Soldo.

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Soldo provides us an more efficient and timesaving way to manage the expenses in the whole company. The users are able to upload receipts from all over the world directly after the purchase with their mobile phones. The accounting department can immidiately see these and keep workig with it.

Soldo provides us a more efficient and timesaving way to manage the expenses. With each production having its budget in a separate Soldo wallet with dedicated cards for each user, we instantly have clear visibility of spend per production. It's reduced our need for cash and allowed us to track spend as it happens from anywhere in the world. Soldo has also simplified approvals and reporting processes too.

Implementation was very easy with support on how to get the best out of Soldo, ordering of cards and setting up wallets were easy to do.
Soldo customer support is excellent with knowledgeable staff alway happy to help guide you
The software is easy to use with well laid out screens
Once up and running we found that their was no need to chase for receipts as the mobile app lets you take a photo and upload 
Approvals can be done by mobile phone and you can restrict the general ledger codes that items can be posted to
Certain spend can be blocked and credit limits applied to each card
There are constant improvments being implemented
Regular meetings with Customer Success Manager and Account Managers

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

Integration with NetSuite was not easy and we had to have a few attempts to get it to work correctly

Approvals by Managers are now done on a timely basis
Collection of receipts have increased with little or no chasing needed
Integraton with NetSuite means that data does not need to be entered twice, also removes data entry errors

Soldo is very straightforward to use, it is simple to add new users, set up wallets and download all reports from the system.  The customer service is always great, they regularly keep in touch and are keen to get any issues resolved as soon as possible.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

Soldo can't be used for certain transactions like car hire but we have found a workaround which works for us.  The other issue we have is sometime we are unable to withdraw the amount of cash we require from ATMs but I believe that is down to an ATM issue and not Soldo.

A card needed for a high number of cardholders and able to manage their spend with good reporting

I love how user friendly is, its so simple and easy to navigate. We can make changes quickly and it is doesnt take long to set up. We use the platform daily and have regular communication with customer support.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

I wish the platform has the option to export custom data onto a spreadsheet. We have to regularly update keytags, cost codes etc and it would be ideal if we could make changes on a spreadsheet and then import in one go. Currently we have to do ot individually.

Previous cards had to be coded seperately. The fact that you can code in the app is saving so much time. Being able to take photos of receipts and uploading immediately is great.

SOLDO expense tracking is excellent. Receipts can be uploaded for tracking expenses and catagories can be used

Customer support isnt great. No weekend support. If cards are blocked it doesnt show on the app or web console. no multicurrency cards so have to have a card for every currency. Emails go unanswered and proper explanations arent provided.

Providing a card for use by our captains and crew on yachts.

The process for ordering cards, user experience and accouting via integration to Concur has been a game changer for us. We have hundreds of ad-hoc business trips per year, and prior to Soldo most of this was manually managed. 
It has meant we can free up time in our team to concentrate on other finance related tasks, as Soldo pretty much delivers on most fronts for us. Generally very happy to be partnering with Soldo,

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

I think a few of my dislikes have been ironed out of the platform now, especially that they have now increased the time from 5 minutes to 15 minutes before you get kicked off the platform when your not using it!

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solsdo deliver our cards globally to our employees home addresses, so no need for us to post out cards. Also the intergaration with Concurt has been great, so we use the Soldo platform for ordering cards, funding, reporting etc, but the employees account for all of their transactions in Concur which means  all of out T & E is accounted for in one system.

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

Soldo has really met all our business needs - makes processing of card payments so much easier.  The customer service has been amazing.  All questions and queries are answered without any issues.  I would really recommend using Soldo for businesses who have many users.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

I can't really think of anything that is realy dislikable - but the authorisation process may need a little streamlining.

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The authorisation process is not what one of the Senior Management Team is looking for, there are changes being made for them

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

From a Financial Controller perspective, Soldo allows us to have better oversight on control around what and how much our Operations team are spending whilst ensuring that they reconcile their spend and provide appropriate backing data (i.e. uploading a receipt). From a user perspective, it's really easy to use, particularly with the app meaning that it isn't necessary to be sat at a computer. The Customer Success team couldn't have been more supportive with getting our accounts set up to meet our needs and we haveregular check in to make sure everything is going well, or resolve any issues. It has proven to be a vast improvment compared to our previous solution.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

Hard to think of any negatives based on my experience.

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes our operations teams need an option for instand/emergency spend that isn't appropriate to put through our interal PO process. Soldo allows us to easily provide a budget to the teams for this spend, also ensuring that this spend is reviewed and signed off by a senior manager each month before we top up the balance for the following month, reducing inappropriate card use.

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

Transfer of money between wallet and cards is simple and straightforward. 
With recent updates, the availability of categorisations of expenses for downloaded reports is very good. 
Instant notifications on the app for all goings on.
Quick and available customer support via the online chat portal. 
Very helpful and enthusiastic account manager for our particular company (Charlotte Heatley).
Used by us multiple times a day and staff dont have issue with using their cards of contactless in any stores.
Pay Someone feature is extremely useful

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

Ability to drag in attachments on spend disappears after one document. Have to be browsed manually after the first one. 
Times out very quick.
Having to use 2 Factor Authentication to view transactions over 90 days.

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarity of spending in an easy, straightforward manner. By allowing staff members a Soldo card for their expenses, with the need for receipt upload, it allows us to track spending easier and also alleviates the needs for them to be spending their own money and having to be reimbursed via payroll. The Pay Someone feature has also given us an excellent feature to allow us pay smaller value items via IBAN as opposed to having to log into our 'normal' bank accounts and go through the setups and payments in their more long-winded manner

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

I enjoy that you can start off with a limited number of cards and wallets, and easily add more as your needs change. The online platform and app areexcellent, as is the online support, should you need it.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

Obviously, fees and charges are applicable to this product, although you have to consider the time that using SOLDO saves your business - there is a value to that time.

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to provide employees with prepaid cards for travel expenses, rather than having to either set up a company credit card or have them use their personal expenses and claim them back.

The ease of uploading receipts, adding spend categories, reporting and overall ease of use of the app as well. The customer support has also been great.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

There has been some difficulty in making some changes and arriving at exactly what we need but has been handled well.

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have one platform to see the whole spend, birs eye view about expenses made by each user, approval proces to review the transactions and we are able to identify the total expenses spent by each entity.

Have to sign in when jumping between companies, as a coprorate client we have a large number of log ins, so ideally would like to be able to consolidate reporting as a total group level

Reducing fraud and allowing us to clearly identify where we are waiting on cost reviews to be completed

**What do you like best about Soldo?**

It allows staff to expense items without them having to use their own money to do so. Also managing expenditure is easier because you have live visibility into the spending.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

I think the monthly fee is a little high. If it was cheaper I would have more staff use it.

**Recommendations to others considering Soldo:**

I recommend Soldo for businesses that have staff that incur expenses and need to ability to manage the spending. It allows staff to book into hotels when jobs over run or if you need  to take a client out or need parts or tools.

**What problems is Soldo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem we had was staff not having to use their own credit to fund business expenses. Also we always lost receipts. The ability to scan receipts in straight away helps prevent this.

Soldo helped us replacing all the physical cards, which were used by many people, by digital cards, reducing the workload and time spend significantly. The platform works well and is easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Soldo?**

They have pretty high turnover on their side, so once a few months we have a new point in contact. 
We have no negative experience about the platform.
