The depth of information and the insights you gain from their data are great! It was a good tool for my social media research and helps gain scientific insights into social media research. From a UI perspective it is simple to use and offers good website performance. Pricing is fair and the support team is great at answering questions fast.

While pricing is fair, there could be more refined options on the lower end of the costs spectrum.

One of the biggest issues in Social Media research is gaining access to historic follower data for Instagram accounts. Socialinsider solves this problem with accurate data and good estimations

I really like that Socialinsider allows me to easily download data from different profiles and compare them. It's much faster than doing it by hand. The user interface is user-friendly and the user experience is great. The support is nice and helpful. I also found the initial setup to be very easy.

**What do you dislike about Socialinsider?**

It would be a bit easier if users could download different profiles' posts at once in the post section, similar to the compare site feature.

**What problems is Socialinsider solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Socialinsider to collect TikTok analytics for four profiles, easily download data, and compare them efficiently. It provides Excel and CSV files for further analysis, making the process faster than doing it manually.

**What do you like best about Socialinsider?**

I like the competition analysis summary and suggestions that Socialinsider provides. The accuracy of the numbers is wonderful, and it gives me a great support to plan my social media strategy and outperform the competition. I find it really helpful to understand the content bucket and approach each of my competitors is taking. Also, knowing what's performing better helps me rework my approach. It's one of the best for competitive analysis, and the initial setup was pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Socialinsider?**

YouTube analytics can be improved. Many times, data is reflected as -, and the traffic source is important on YouTube as it's available readily to anyone without an account login. So, getting more insights on time, duration, traffic source, and age group from a competition perspective would be helpful. Socialinsider should try to fetch all possible platforms of a particular brand automatically instead of customers having to upload them one by one. This feature is available on RivalIQ.

Socialinsider helps me understand competitors' content strategies and their effectiveness. It provides a clear view of my brand's position in the market, along with competition analysis summaries and accurate suggestions, making it a great support for planning my social media strategy.

While Socialinsider offers robust features, one aspect I find challenging is its credit management system, specifically regarding deleted accounts. If I delete a competitor account mid-month, the credits associated with that slot are not immediately freed up for use on a new account until the following billing cycle. This lack of flexibility can be frustrating when I need to quickly pivot my analysis or replace a competitor, as it effectively wastes a portion of my monthly allowance.

I find Socialinsider's interface incredibly user-friendly and straightforward, which makes navigating and understanding statistics very easy. I really appreciate how the platform doesn't require a social account connection to access in-depth stats, which was a deciding factor for me. The customer support has been outstanding, extremely accommodating, kind, and helpful, which really convinced me to use Socialinsider over other platforms. The simplified and minimalistic design enhances ease of use, and setting up the platform was a breeze—it was very simple and straightforward. The statistics provided by Socialinsider, especially the in-depth insights into social media performance, such as estimated views and engagements per post, are exactly what I need for competitor analysis in my final year project. I appreciate how well updated the platform is and the detailed statistics it offers, which contribute significantly to my project requirements.

I dislike how some statistics are not up to date and not aligned with Instagram, especially concerning the video views for IG reels, as their numbers sometimes do not match.

**What do you like best about Socialinsider?**

I love the layout -- gathering the data from Meta is such a pain and difficult to navigate so it saves us a lot of time. It also makes presentations more appealing and easy to read. I like how we can set the comparison easily.

My most utilized tool is campaign tracking. By tagging posts, we can see the effect from just select comms and it's really helpful. For organic content, this tool is very helpful. 

The Customer Support team has also been very helpful and prompt.

**What do you dislike about Socialinsider?**

I would like to be able to see all content included in the campaign details -- not just top 10. Since I'm usually aware of how much we post and where it would be nice to have other insights included in the campaign details that are not so obvious... that section doesn't feel useful. Also it would be nice to compare results from two campaigns.

Also when looking at paid ads, I feel Meta still provides more insights. More details about who the ads were served to would be useful.

For me, the most useful aspect of the platform is the detailed analysis of profile performance. It allows you to evaluate essential metrics such as engagement rate, follower growth, posting frequency and type, among many other things. For me, as a researcher on the topic of influencers, this tool was essential; it helped me analyze new data easily and simply. I believe the greatest advantage of the platform (which I didn't find in other platforms) is its ability to perform deep and comparative analyses of social profiles over extended periods of time, in addition to having an intuitive and visually clear interface.

**What do you dislike about Socialinsider?**

More than a disadvantage, they are opportunities to continue growing as a platform. I could suggest delving even deeper into certain metrics for those of us who do research would be ideal, or having the possibility to create custom filters. But beyond that, it is a super complete and easy-to-use platform. Also, if you need help with something, there is always someone in the chat willing to help you; the customer service is excellent.

The platform has allowed me to solve the problem of accessing reliable and detailed metrics on the performance of influencer profiles on Instagram over long periods of time (2 years). Most platforms only offer short analysis periods. This has been key to analyzing trends, comparing accounts, and supporting findings with real data within my research. Thanks to its simple interface and the wide variety of available indicators, I can work with precision and save time in the collection and organization of information.

It pulls my IG, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube numbers into one clean place and makes benchmarking super easy. I can stack our pages against competitors, see what content type wins (reels vs. photos), and spot best posting times without guesswork. The reports are the real time saver, one click to share a live link or export a neat PDF/PPT for the team. I also like the breakdowns by post, hashtags, and ER so I can explain “why” a post worked, not just the numbers. Setup was quick, the UI is friendly, and the data feels reliable.

Stories data is limited by the platforms, so gaps happen. Reporting should be improved by KPIs. Exports are good, but I’d love a few more chart styles and a dark-mode option. Nothing major, just nice-to-have tweaks.

Honestly, there’s not much to complain about – for our academic use, the platform works really well.

Its intuitive, you wont even need to setup dashboards. Everything is almost there! It's even better than brandwatch or other brands i tried for tracking at less than half the price. A pure Romanian beautiful technology!

Very few, except getting used to it for first time.

I haven't found a downside yet to using Socialinsider. It is a super useful tool to have in my backpocket.

**What problems is Socialinsider solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Socialinsider helps me prep for a discovery meeting with a prospect. I pop their socials and the socials of their competitors into Socialinsider and I look like a star when I present their current status quo and offer support on the areas that need help! 

I also use it to conduct competitor analysis as part of an overall yearly social media strategy for my each of my clients.

They  also solve the problems very quick ,
The files that I can download from the insight is very easy to read.
Comparing Between few Pages is a feature that does not exist in many of the places.

But One should not forget that to keep this Quality  with Customer service and for the Technical team that check if everything is ok . Is not so cheap so you get exactly what you are paying for

- Easy hook-up and access
- Easy to use interface and results display, ensuring anyone from Juniors to C-suite can understand the analysis and derive insights
- Great platform support across the board
- Support team are INCREDIBLY supportive, with timely responses and accommodations made to ensure your experience with the platform is as optimal as possible. Honestly, one of the best support teams I've had the pleasure of dealing with, and a big reason the platform is great to work with. 
- Monthly payment plan - making the platform affordable for all team sizes

**What do you dislike about Socialinsider?**

- Powerpoint exports require some fiddling with, especially as not all KPIS are reported or reported in the most effective format
- Auto-tagging development is not strong; definitely an area for improvement
- Data can sometimes require speaking with the team to amend - there are occasional kinks where posts are appearing twice, or some engagement is not being accounted for - this isn't a common occurence and the team is incredibly supportive when it does happen, but it's definitely something to be mindful of

**What do you like best about Socialinsider?**

It's extremely helpful for social media publishers and content creators like myself to do the deep analysis of trending content. I personally use it every day to get new ideas for my social accounts. It has given me many ideas by seeing what other content is performing well. Using this data, I've grown my social accounts millions of followers! I use it all the time for this purpose and it's very worth the money and quite affordable when you think of how fast you can grow using the tools it provides.

There's no real downsides actually. It's super useful! The price is actually quite affordable too so I can't think of anything wrong with Socialinsider. I use it every day!

It has helped me grow my social media channels millions of followers. I use it every day to analyse top performing content on the internet and get video ideas for my own channels. Using the data, I've created content that has gone viral over and over and it's helped me grow my channels and earn money as well!

It helped me and my team get a better and deeper understanding on how our social media efforts are performing.

Before using Socialinsider, we used to spend tons of time each month to get our reports done. So the Reporting feature they have is a huge win for us - we’re saving a lot of hours!

We can get reports for our own pages and plus, take a look at what our competitors are doing as well.

A big plus is that I can work together with my team mates and assign ourselves different projects.

As most content and digital natives will tell you, having a tool which is reliable month in, month out for insights on content and data for reports is of paramount importance. 

Even when we've needed urgent help with refreshing profile counts or enabling minor tweaks to get work done, they have been very prompt and helpful – all while being timezones away.

**What do you dislike about Socialinsider?**

What's not to like? I would refer them to all my colleagues and peers in the field if they needed a platform or tool in this space.

**What problems is Socialinsider solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to sieve through content that works for clients or potential projects going back 12 months, providing data on the most salient formats for engagement, and even down to benchmarking within any particular industry. 

Most importantly, it saves us alot of time in generating insights and decision-making.

The customer service is impeccable. You get your reports as soon as you buy your subscription and they are very complete, they have many useful insights, probably even information you didn't even know you needed! The reports are well  organised and clear.

So far I have not found something I dislike about the platform, the reports or the data. Only a recommendation: if you need urgent help make sure to reach out during the morning to get immediate help by the customer service team.
