**What do you like best about Sendbird?**

I'm a big fan of the Sendbird API! As an analyst rather than a developer, I've been able to follow the documentation and write a number of scripts to export data from Sendbird for one of my clients.

Sendbird has also integrated smoothly with my client's platform and feels like a cohesive part of the offering rather than a bolt-on. It has proven reliable across a number of websites.

Finally the moderation tools are comprehensive and straightforward to use.

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

Sendbird is an enterprise solution and the pricing reflects this.

Features are bundled into different packages, so you may need to upgrade your subscription to get a particular feature. Advanced analytics, for example, is only available in the Pro package and above. This means that cost depends not only on usage but also on desired feature set.

**What problems is Sendbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sendbird has enabled my client to integrate both group and one-to-one chat facilities into its platform, for the benefit of platform users. From my personal perspective as an analyst, Sendbird has enabled me to export the data I require via its well documented and powerful API.

**What do you like best about Sendbird?**

The layout and the ease with which it can be tailored towards a company's specific needs. We are student accommodation and use the system to monitor 7 buildings across Edinburgh for our area. This allows us to support customers in an incredibly timely fashion, and also ensure we do not miss any requests from our customers over time. We were able to switch from our old system to Sendbird effortlessly and easily integrate it into our daily work routine. As a result we are supporting customers in more depth on a more frequent basis.

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

It's not Sendbird's fault, but it is another messaging platform in a very saturated service area, so it makes it difficult to promote sometimes.

**What problems is Sendbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing us to see what customers really think of the support we offer them, as they are talking amongst themselves about the level of support they receive AND how they feel about it.

**What do you like best about Sendbird?**

I have been using Sendbird to communicate with various work teams and manage the reception of tickets from our delivery fleet. From the beginning, I noticed its great potential and ability to resolve conflicts. Compared to Slack, which we used before, Sendbird is much less problematic. I appreciate the simplicity and intuitiveness of its setup and use, which makes it accessible from the start. The ability to transfer tickets between users is especially useful, as it allows for more specific responses. Additionally, Sendbird makes it easy to stay in touch with the fleet and the Live Ops department, allowing me to receive only important messages and manage efficiently. The instant messages and groups within Sendbird are features that I really highlight. For these reasons, I would definitely consider acquiring Sendbird again thanks to its ease of setup and use.

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

I don't like that if you have a proactive chat, Sendbird doesn't allow you to close it unless you provide a reason.

I use Sendbird to stay in touch with various teams and better manage tickets. The ease of configuration, intuitive use, and ticket transfer improve our communication and efficiency.

**What do you like best about Sendbird?**

I've built two implementations on top of Sendbird and never encountered an issue with their service or technology, which handles hundreds of thousands of users per day. Every time I've needed to consult their documentation, I've found it to be flawless and with great examples. They provide downloadable demo code for most of their features, which makes it easy to build on top of. Their team has been fully responsive to new feature requests and/or ideas - all the way up to their CEO!

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

I have seen no downsides other than some features have not yet made it to all client libraries.

**What problems is Sendbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize Sendbird as both a communication platform between users and coaches, as well as users and chatbots. We have built and deployed two different chatbots on top of it, which work perfectly in our mobile applications.

Ease of integration: The documentation is very easy to follow and states clearly most of the information required.
Customizations : The sdk has options to override UI and actions for the chat interface. This makes it easy to build the feature following a different design.
Engineering Support : The team is very supportive and they are always ready to make sure that any queries are resolved.

Although the dashboard has enough information required, one of the improvements from the mobile development perspective I can think of is the possibility to include more platform-specific(ios, android, web) information.

Problem : Creating a chat feature for mobile and web users
Benefit : Easy to integrate without putting a lot of efforts into developing an end-to-end (front end + back end) chat product

The sendbird functions is very stable. We have been using it for 7 years, and we have honestly spent very little time fixing or maintaining it since launch. The pricing stays the same for 8 years, which is a big help for us. And this year, we had to deal with a terrible financial situation, which required massive expense-cutting. Sendbird's CS team helped us find a solution we could continue using, with some cost savings. Really appreciate everything.

Sendbird is super reliable on production. I love how it can handle the scale we see at Zepto seamlessly. It also offers all the chat features we need to support 150k support chats between our end customers and AI or human agents daily. 

I also love the ease of implementation and the support team helping us out so promptly whenever needed.

Sendbird is the chat infrastructure for 150k customer support chats today - this really helps us reliably offer support to millions of our users monthly and takes away the complexity of building and maintaining the end to end chat suite inhouse.

We also leverage Sendbird for sending push notifications when a customer on a chat goes inactive aiming to improve our first time resolution rate.

**What do you like best about Sendbird?**

Sendbird makes it easy to deliver a complete in-app chat experience. Many features that would be effort intensive to build are available out of the box. This has helped our users connect with each other seamlessly, as we operate a two sided marketplace where users often need to coordinate with one another.

The support team is another standout. They’re quick to debug issues, suggest code improvements, and guide us on stability and scalability best practices. We’ve also found the commercials flexible, which is a big plus for a startup like ours. We can scale usage as the business grows without being locked into rigid pricing.

Overall, the big plus points are: simple integration, stable SDKs, and strong feature set.

**What do you dislike about Sendbird?**

While the solution is solid, our team needs to stay vigilant. The occasional monitoring and upgrades are important to keep everything running smoothly. Documentation cannot cover everything in a real-world implementation scenario for a unique business like ours, and certain edge cases require extra care. It’s not a dealbreaker, but we have to be proactive in keeping the integration healthy, and perhaps also have a developer who is fluent with the integration and can step in for quick resolution when required.

Sendbird solves the challenge of othewise building and maintaining a reliable in-app chat at scale. Instead of us spending technical bandwidth on building and maintaining a messaging layer from scratch, we were able to divert that towards building core product differentiators - while we rely on Sendbird for messaging as they've proven themselves and perfected this over the years.

Noticed at times, small black box will pop up on bottom left corner saying to refresh entire page if I want an accurate update but refresh function will look like it is still actively refreshing. Therefore, if you miss this black box prompt, you will believe your messages are refreshing and you will miss current chats.

We've found Sendbird to be a fantastic chat solution for our apps. What rreally stands is how flexible their SDKs and APIs are, we were able to customise every aspect to match our business requirements, look and feel. The real time messaging just works beautifully. Our users can chat instantly without any lag or hiccups most of the times. This helped us not spending weeks figuring out the platform we could just dive in and start building.
