## RevenueCat Reviews
  ### 1. RevenueCat: Drop-In IAP SDK with Powerful Dashboard Insights and Smart Offerings Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adil S. | Co Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RevenueCat helped me stop worrying about the ever-changing in-app purchase SDK at the start. But once I began using the dashboard, it gave me a lot of geographic insights that let me add more ways for my non-paying customers to go premium in my app.
When moving to RevenueCat, I was worried about the dev effort it'll require to move from native to a thirdparty sdk, but it seemed like just a drop-in replacement for me.
With the offering concept, it allowed me to control the products that I implement in my paywalls.
I'm also considering adding more products in different offerings and I'm happy that I already have this feature implemented out of box.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I honestly don’t see any downside. I’m glad I made the wise decision to switch to RC.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat helped me stop worrying about the ever-changing in-app purchase SDK.

  ### 2. Essential tools for subscription apps — virtual currencies, A/B tests, and win-back offers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RevenueCat has the tools you actually need. One example is virtual currencies — you can attach units to a subscription, like minutes for transcription, that refresh on a schedule. You can also run A/B tests, and you can set up an extra offer at the cancellation step — for instance, when a user wants to cancel their subscription, you can offer them a discount like 50% off, and this often works.
The solutions RevenueCat provides would take a lot of time if you had to build your own server-side implementation. Instead, you get a ready-made solution that's free while the user earns up to $2,500, and if you go over that, the cost for these services stays low 1%.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

There's no SDK support for .NET 10 on iOS or Android. That's the main gap for us — if you're working in that stack, you have to wait or work around it, which is frustrating when the rest of the platform is so solid.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned earlier, virtual currencies help a lot. For example, I allocate transcription minutes to users together with their subscription, and RevenueCat handles granting and refreshing those units automatically. Without it, I'd have to build and maintain that entitlement logic on my own backend — tracking balances, resetting them each cycle, keeping everything in sync with subscription state. RevenueCat takes that entire problem off my plate so I can focus on the app itself.

  ### 3. Incredible Platform for Managing Subscriptions, Paywalls, and the Full Purchase Funnel

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

When the framework only managed the complex subscription and in-app-purchase ecosystem, it was already a huge win to use. With the introduction of integrated paywalls with an easy to use UI, experiments to test pricing, AI-driven localization, customer center for support, great tech support, and more, it is an incredible platform for managing and tracking the entire customer journey through app purchase funnels.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

It takes a minute to completely understand the relationships between offerings, products, entitlements and all that. But once you have a solid udnerstanding of how the RC system is designed, setup is pretty easy.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using RevenueCat reduces development time and reduces risk in managing subscriptions. The integration with the app stores, and more, works beautifully. The platform nicely consolidates so much technically and returns so much value, making it a good choice for developers large and small alike.

  ### 4. Implement in-app purchases smoothly with precise documentation and fair pricing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** masaibar N. | Androidエンジニア, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Accurate documentation, sophisticated features, and very reasonable pricing make it easy to implement in-app purchases.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I am satisfied with the functionality.
If I had to mention one point, it is regrettable that despite sending an email regarding the referral program as instructed by Mr. Ueda, the sales representative I met at the meetup, I have yet to receive a response even though nearly two years have passed.
As a result, the potential for future revenue from the client company has been reduced to zero, which is deeply regrettable.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It took the hassle out of the usually tedious and demanding tasks of implementing and updating in-app purchases, enabling me to generate revenue through them.

  ### 5. Easy Setup and Simple Payments That Just Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donovan S. | Software Engineer 2, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

It was so easy to setup. For years it has powered our payments, and it is super simple.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I honestly don’t have enough time to learn all the features. I am a solo dev working on the side, and I am sure they have some great things that I don’t know about, but i just don’t know about them yet.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It made implementing payments in my ios app a dream. On a recommendation from a friend i tried it, and it was working in about a day.

  ### 6. Awesome Entitlement Sync and a Built-In Paywall GUI That Shines

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frej Dahl L. | The guy with the basketball website, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Nice job on syncing the entitlements across web and native🙌 and the built-in paywall gui is awesome🔥

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Lacking docs and setup on staging and test enviroments

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves sync of entitlements across platforms with a handy paywall engine😍

  ### 7. RevenueCat: Effortless to Use, Great Docs, and a Generous Free Tier

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Ease of use, great documentation, generous free tier.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

ZERO, I barely know any companies like revenueCat in this age, what they do is world class.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have an application on the appstore and play store and I use revenueCat to handle the subscriptions, smooth as butter

  ### 8. Intuitive Paywall Design with Seamless Google Play & App Store Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose P. | Senior Database Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

The integration with Google Play and the Apple Store for payments and subscriptions.

The user interface designing the Paywall is very intuitive and easy to use

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I don’t have any dislikes—there’s just a small learning curve at first.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Subscriptions through the stores are straightforward and easy to maintain.

  ### 9. RevenueCat pros and cons

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Polad M. | Dimly, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

For me revenue cat is the best subscripton "manager" in market. I like the easy to use SDK and pretty good documentation

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Sandbox tata sometimes can be wrong and paywall sometimes looks old

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving mobile subscription problem, when you need to implement lots of things especially on server side.

  ### 10. Best subscription management SDK/tool for mobile apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MUDASIR H. | Mobile Application Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RevenueCat makes subscription management incredibly simple. The SDK is easy to integrate, documentation is clear, and it saves a lot of time handling receipts, renewals, and edge cases across App Store and Play Store. Analytics and webhook support are also very reliable.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

When switching from sandbox to live mode, sandbox users are still included in total and active user counts. This makes production metrics harder to read and can be misleading when evaluating real user growth. A clearer separation or filtering option between sandbox and live users would greatly improve analytics accuracy.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat removes the complexity of handling subscriptions manually. It abstracts store-specific logic, reduces bugs related to renewals and cancellations, and provides clear analytics. This lets me focus more on building product features instead of maintaining billing infrastructure.

  ### 11. Easy Paywall Integration, But Needs More Customization Options

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathleen B. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

I like the paywall feature. Initially, I had no idea of RevenueCat until I came across the RevenueCat Paywall Speed Building Championship. It was exciting. It is easy to incorporate and customize a RevenueCat paywall into your application.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

The downsides I noticed were that the paywalls were few and needed some variations so that after a developer has integrated it into their app, a customer who utilizes several apps would not get used to similar features and expect the same everywhere

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After strenuous hours of building an app, one does not have to spend huge amounts of time coding and integrating a paywall into an app as RevenueCat solves this problem.

  ### 12. In-App Subscriptions made super easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Really easy to use and the documentation its well written, and it helps a lot with the implementation the semplicity of the integration and the business model, they give you all the features for free until you reach 2k monthly recurring revenue.

And The customer support is really effecient.

i'm using RevenueCat in all my projects.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Nothing, everything works fine. I don’t have anything to conplain about

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps me to let the user subscribe to my apps in an easy way.

  ### 13. Best app to manage subscriptions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sreedhar G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

It makes it easy to consolidate all types of app store billing under one umbrella.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I really wish there were support for Stripe in South Africa.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat serves as a powerful middle layer between your app and the app stores.

  ### 14. Great service, formidable UX, and easy implementation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frej L. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

The documentation for hooking up the service is clear and to-the-point. And the integrations just work.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I especially find it difficult to get information on what is possible or not with 3rd-party integrations. Having all these integrations is wonderful, but having to read all the documentation for 3/4/5 separate services becomes overwhelming, even though RevenueCat's own documentation covers the bare necessities

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me solve issues with centralising subscriber entitlements

  ### 15. Easy Subscription Integration That Saves Development Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

It allows us to easily incorporate a subscription mechanism into the app. This significantly reduced implementation effort.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

There are constraints on the versions of essential Flutter packages. It would be appreciated if the latest possible versions of Flutter and its associated packages could be used, resolving any dependency conflicts.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A clear advantage is that we were able to significantly reduce the effort required to implement a subscription system in the app.

  ### 16. Rich Charts and Analytics That Deliver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anton G. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

A lot of different charts and analytics. Super cool iOS app. Live graphs that update info in real time.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

The customer charts are a little bit hard to set up.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can finally understand how prices work in our app. We see a lot of different info and track it each day.

  ### 17. Effortless Setup and Perfect Convenience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikola . | Software engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I have no complaints; everything appears to be in good order.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use this service to manage subscriptions for my iOS app.

  ### 18. Happy first time user

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter W. | Engineering Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Very easy to get started by following a few simple integration steps for your platform(s) of choice. So far I have no complaints, just works out of the box.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

No complaints here so far. I cannot think of anything to complain about.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making Paywalls accessible and easy to integrate while I focus on the features for my apps.

  ### 19. RevenueCat is the Subscription Stack I’d Build If I Had Time (and a Clone)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

If you’re building a mobile app with subscriptions and not using RevenueCat… I genuinely don’t know what you’re doing. Rolling your own is a one-way ticket to pain, edge-case hell, and weeks of your life you’ll never get back. Trust me — I’ve been there.

RevenueCat is one of the few tools I’ve used that feels like it was made exactly for people like me: indie devs moving fast, trying to ship real products and grow revenue without spending half our lives in sandbox mode or deciphering Apple’s latest quirks.

The SDK is rock solid. The dashboard gives me everything I need to understand what’s working (and what’s not). The integrations? Chef’s kiss. I’ve hooked it into everything from Mixpanel to Notion to our custom retention flows without breaking a sweat.

And the team behind it? Super sharp, super active, and clearly invested in helping developers win. Every time I peek into their Shipaton event or Discord, I’m reminded how rare that kind of support actually is.

If you’re serious about monetizing your app — this is your backend. Don’t overthink it.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

What don’t I like about RevenueCat? Genuinely nothing. If I ever found something annoying, they probably fixed it before I finished writing this.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For both AteIQ and Sparka, RevenueCat solves the one problem I never want to think about: how to make money from my app without turning into a full-time backend engineer. It handles the entire subscription stack — purchase logic, receipt validation, entitlements, cross-platform syncing — all the gnarly bits that are critical to get right but an absolute nightmare to maintain yourself.

The real value, though, is that it unlocks speed.

With RevenueCat, we were able to launch monetization for both products in hours, not weeks. That means we could focus on actual product development, user feedback, and growth — instead of writing brittle StoreKit code or debugging sandbox receipt issues at 2am.

It’s also helped us be way more confident about what’s happening post-purchase. Having real-time insights into trials, renewals, churn, and revenue has been a game changer. I know exactly who’s converting, when, and why — which lets us act fast to improve onboarding or tweak pricing.

Bottom line: RevenueCat removes the friction between building an app and turning it into a business. And for indie devs shipping fast like us, that’s the difference between launching and actually making money.

  ### 20. Very good

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

It's easy of use and being able to access and view the data straight after the login.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

It needs to get an android app too so it's easier to get info there too.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me get a very easy to use api and integration.

  ### 21. RevenueCat is indispensable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yoshiro M. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

If you want to implement in-app purchases but are at a loss as to what to do and how to do it, you should use RevenueCat without hesitation!

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I don't see any bad points so far. And if I make a great deal of money and start charging fees, that's just the way it is.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are many things to consider when implementing in-app purchases, and if you have no experience with it, you may not know exactly what to do. However, RevenueCat can be implemented quickly and easily, and it provides a sense of security that “this will work”.

  ### 22. RevenueCat helps me focus on what matters & forget the complexities of multi-platform payment flows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

The core feature is the best feature IMHO. Being a react-native / expo developer, it gives a tremendous peace of mind to set up my client-side actions for payments and letting revenue-cat handle the nuances between web, iOS and android. Aside from that, I think the analytics charts are solid, I constantly find myself going in there just to get a little dopamine boost and check on the business metrics across all platforms in less than 5 mins. I remember the first time I set up RevenueCat I had a really easy time finding what I needed in their documentation, I ran into some errors and those were also documented in the "Common Errors" section, which was quite validating and ensured I was moving in the right direction.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I think the mobile app has a ton of opportunity for growth, it's been getting increasingly better in the past 6 months but definitely is where I see the most low-hanging fruit. The other area of opportunity, which I believe is being worked on, is Paywalls V2 getting to react-native. For what it's worth, I think both of these are just a matter of time.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplifying the nuances between multi-platform payments. It benefits me because I end up writing less code and visualizing my revenue on a single dashboard instead of having to open 3 tabs or apps to review my business metrics.

  ### 23. RevenueCat Made it easy to turn my app into a paywalled app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob W. | Owner/Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

For IOS, It probably took me less than a day to add a paywall to an app I already had. Making a "free download" ("freee trial") version of my app allows more people to sample it, so necessarily there are more users potentially purchasing it.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I have just started looking into setting this up on my Android app as well, and unfortunately, the instructions for Android aren't quite as clear as they could be, the process should be similar but the set up may be more involved.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I didn't know where to get started for adding a paywall, it simplified the code base for me.

  ### 24. Hassle-free in-app purchases

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** José L. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Very easy to integrate and maintain, in addition to other extra features as the customer center to help you reduce support overhead.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

There is still some work to do with webhooks to help developers to pin-point issues.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat has helped us to implement resilient and reliable in-app purchases without dealing with the technical complexities of Apple Store and Google Play, allowing us to shift our focus to other important areas of our business.

  ### 25. Best experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benoit D. | Co-fondateur, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Easy integration with provided frameworks for all mobile platforms.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

They at to fast to produce framework versions. I cannot update every time :)

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have replaced iOS store kit with ReveueCat. It was easy and fast.

  ### 26. RevenueCat really helped me implement subscriptions in my app!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Illia A. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

It’s easy to use, free up to a certain level, and simple to integrate and configure.
I like the built-in paywall screens the most.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I like everything about it! I don’t even know what to say.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat makes it easy to integrate subscriptions for the App Store and Google Play.

  ### 27. Solved my Subscription Issues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tucker W. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Works cross platform with extremely reasonable fees. Has eliminated all customer complaints of subscription issues. Very easy to implement both web and native billing.

I was also impressed with the web subscriptions beta - frequent updates, a lack of breaking changes, and prompt responses to inquiries.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Would like to see the ability to adjust the price of an existing web subscription added - while there are alternative methods of price adjustments (ie, adding an identical entitlement then swapping the offerings in the store), its more steps than simply adjusting a product price.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat solved my subscription management problem - as an independent app developer, syncing subscriptions between Google Play, Amazon, the iOS App Store, and a web billing interface is simply painful, and the cost of designing a system to handle refunds, cancellations, renewals, new subscriptions, etc across multiple platforms far exceeds the amount I pay RevenueCat.

  ### 28. Absolutely love it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Experiments - We run experiments all the time to always improve our conversion rate to the about best and maximizing our revenue. Its insane what this can do!

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Nothing really, only thing you could argue that pricing might grow with you. But still the time you save on developing all that stuff is totally worth the money!

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its an absolute game changer when it comes to testing subscription prices and optimizing for max revenue. Also user/subscription management, transferring them over multiple platforms (for us android & ios) is effortlessly and comes basically out of the box!

  ### 29. The best way to manage payments and users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lukas K. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

It helps you (with using very little code) to have a complete solution for managing payments, subscriptions and users. Including easy-to use paywalls.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I am not aware of any. It is a complex topic but it is made easy through RC. The only thing I would wish for is a PayPal integration.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t need to implement per-system billing, it also supports lots of integrations

  ### 30. Revenuecat meets my expectations as best pay wall integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shameera A. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Its easy to integrate and, very user friendly. I can remove the burdon of maganging susbscriptions and in app purchases. because revenue cat is a all inclusive
The implementation of revenuecat is I would say a straight forward one for me. After integrateting I have a alot of dashbaords views to monitor everything.
The frequency of using revenucecat is , currently every day, for me its very easy to tack all the information related to payements in my app.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

So far I dont see a dislike about revenuecat. All good for now.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I dont need the whole subscription and payment management related stuff. All handle by revenuecat.

  ### 31. The most easiest way to integrate Google Play subscription to apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** NV S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

It's very easy to integrate and easy to manage the payments in RC dashboard - in original Google Play Dashboard, it's too difficult. For my app ( https://aiduva.com/ ) - It was very easy to implement and very easy to manage and see the revenue.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

The same RC subscription paywall cant be used for the web version of the app.

  ### 40. A genius solution to a tedious and cumbersome problem

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert L. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

The idea is good, a SaaS product that can streamline and unify your monetisation across platform.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I think a lot of frustration as an indie developer stems from the setup and configuration. To be completely fair ,this isn't RevenueCat's fault, app stores are a nightmare to work with, ever changing and unclear in their requirements. I think more SDK coverage would help this software solution reduce the barriers to entry for indie level developers, making the "express" route for developers as light touch as possible and improving their documentation to help users on this express path.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unifies the payment experience across all platforms. Turned weeks maybe months of development into a few days.

  ### 41. Simple and streamlined

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Simple way to implement in app Purchases on android and ios. Now also support for web subscription which is awesome

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I can't think of any downsides except the fee

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't need to write and maintain code for all platforms

  ### 42. I use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions in my apps. You can't find anything better.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Easy to integrate, simple subscription management, and clear statistical charts.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I don't like the number of paywall templates. Very limited. Few templates and not very customizable by default.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The comprehensive management of in-app subscriptions, paywall integration, and the ability to run paywall tests save me a lot of time and help me identify the most effective strategy for optimizing them. Specifically, not having to design the paywall graphics, as they are already provided by RevenueCat, is an incredibly useful feature for saving time.

  ### 43. Highly recommended

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Easy integration for non-technical founders like myself. Very generous free tier as well.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Takes some time to set up with the App Store, but that's not a RevenueCat issue but more of an App Store Connect issue. Their documentation makes up for it.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows me to take payments for my app.

  ### 44. An amazing tool to go faster

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Quentin K. | Associé, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2025

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

The setup is so easy.
The documentation is exhaustive and well written.
Support is available for help.
It works with almost all languages and integration with app store and play store is amzing (auto import)

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Dashboard could be a little bit more easy to read

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I did not want to handle the subscriptions tickets, cancelations and reset myself with my backend and a database.
Their business model is fair to handle all this painfull stuff from us.

  ### 45. Implement in-app subscriptions in just 2 days and earn extra income

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

I implemented in-app subscriptions in my app without any hassle. The API is clean and the documentation is complete. RevenueCat does the work that Apple and Google have handed over to developers. I've been earning additional income for over a year now, with no maintenance required.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I have absolutely no complaints. It does everything it promised and I haven't had any issues so far.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am an indie developer developing apps with Flutter. I wanted to add a subscription feature to earn extra revenue. I asked a friend who had implemented in-app subscriptions using Apple and Google APIs. He told me it took him a month because he had to implement both client and server-side code, and even then, the subscription periods were inconsistent. I implemented in-app subscriptions in 2 days using RevenueCat, and saved more than 90% of my implementation time and maintenance time.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't need write server code for mobile subscription and renew

  ### 47. Great service. Well worth it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew C. | CTO, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Great service. Easy integration.

Solid, up to date tutorials that don't skip nuanced/esoteric details.

Reasonable pricing models. Well worth it for cross platform apps.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Not worth the integration steps for single platform apps, but those are few and far between.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross platform subscription management.

  ### 48. A fast and well implemented solution for adding subscriptions to iOS apps.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

I have several popular iOS apps, but I was leaving money on the table, having implemented a basic one payment-only IAP solution in each of them. Subscriptions using the existing APIs were technically too hard to implement, so I was pleased to discover RevenueCat. The steps on the Quick Start page were all I needed to implement a full subscription service inside my most popular app, and I haven't looked back. I now have four apps using subscriptions for monetization using the RevenueCat API. It is fast and easy to implement; charts and a live dashboard to show current app activity are provided.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

It is hard to find anything to dislike about the product. I would have to be picky to name anything. I have many thousands of subscribers now and have increased revenue, I have moved away from simple IAP and advertising based revenue to a modern subscription system, I have no complaints.

**Recommendations to others considering RevenueCat:**

The major advantages in using RevenueCat are the ease of getting a deliverable product built, the simplicity of the API, and most of all - the quality of the documentation. Give it a try.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My monetization methods using IAP and advertising were dated and falling out of favor. RevenueCat has made it easy to grow my business.

  ### 49. Unbelievably valuable tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RevenueCat makes it so easy for me to track the health and performance of my app. I love seeing the dashboard of subscriptions, but also how I can go in and dig into my trial start and conversion data. If I was solely relying on Firebase Analytics, I wouldn't have a clue what was going on. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Thinking of a downside is a struggle. I think the only thing I wish I could do is use RevenueCat directly as a CRM and send emails to relevant parties without needing MailChimp or some other service.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat solves two main problems:
1) They made it very easy to get up and running with auto-renewing subscriptions in my project. The documentation was great and the implantation went extremely quickly.
2) Tracking the performance of my app. I love all the charts and dashboards and the ability to run experiments. I didn't realize when I started how often I'd lean on these metrics to gauge what to do next and where to focus my time.

  ### 50. The to go cross-platform solution for implementation of in-app purchases and subscriptions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergey P. | Gig Worker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RevenueCat provides an easy way for cross-platform implementation of in-app purchases and subscriptions, shielding the developer from all platform-specific hurdles, and providing great step-by-step documentation for all necessary platform-specific configurations, and the end-to-end usage in the final app product. It comes with a variety of SDKs; I am using their React Native SDK for Android and iOS for about 4 years, and never had any problems with it, nor missed any feature I needed. The RevenueCat's web platform provides all sorts of analytics for in-app purchases, subscriptions, and customers; and their pricing is fair, starting from free tiers for new projects with little profits.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Nothing. It works just perfect for me, covering all my needs, and in 4 years of usage I never came across any relevant features I'd miss in the RevenueCat solution.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes care about all platform-specific nunances of in-app purchases & subscription imeplementation, making the developer's work smooth and efficient.
