## RevenueCat Reviews
  ### 1. Great service. Well worth it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew C. | CTO, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Great service. Easy integration.

Solid, up to date tutorials that don't skip nuanced/esoteric details.

Reasonable pricing models. Well worth it for cross platform apps.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Not worth the integration steps for single platform apps, but those are few and far between.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross platform subscription management.

  ### 2. A fast and well implemented solution for adding subscriptions to iOS apps.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

I have several popular iOS apps, but I was leaving money on the table, having implemented a basic one payment-only IAP solution in each of them. Subscriptions using the existing APIs were technically too hard to implement, so I was pleased to discover RevenueCat. The steps on the Quick Start page were all I needed to implement a full subscription service inside my most popular app, and I haven't looked back. I now have four apps using subscriptions for monetization using the RevenueCat API. It is fast and easy to implement; charts and a live dashboard to show current app activity are provided.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

It is hard to find anything to dislike about the product. I would have to be picky to name anything. I have many thousands of subscribers now and have increased revenue, I have moved away from simple IAP and advertising based revenue to a modern subscription system, I have no complaints.

**Recommendations to others considering RevenueCat:**

The major advantages in using RevenueCat are the ease of getting a deliverable product built, the simplicity of the API, and most of all - the quality of the documentation. Give it a try.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My monetization methods using IAP and advertising were dated and falling out of favor. RevenueCat has made it easy to grow my business.

  ### 3. Unbelievably valuable tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RevenueCat makes it so easy for me to track the health and performance of my app. I love seeing the dashboard of subscriptions, but also how I can go in and dig into my trial start and conversion data. If I was solely relying on Firebase Analytics, I wouldn't have a clue what was going on. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Thinking of a downside is a struggle. I think the only thing I wish I could do is use RevenueCat directly as a CRM and send emails to relevant parties without needing MailChimp or some other service.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat solves two main problems:
1) They made it very easy to get up and running with auto-renewing subscriptions in my project. The documentation was great and the implantation went extremely quickly.
2) Tracking the performance of my app. I love all the charts and dashboards and the ability to run experiments. I didn't realize when I started how often I'd lean on these metrics to gauge what to do next and where to focus my time.

  ### 4. The to go cross-platform solution for implementation of in-app purchases and subscriptions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergey P. | Gig Worker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RevenueCat provides an easy way for cross-platform implementation of in-app purchases and subscriptions, shielding the developer from all platform-specific hurdles, and providing great step-by-step documentation for all necessary platform-specific configurations, and the end-to-end usage in the final app product. It comes with a variety of SDKs; I am using their React Native SDK for Android and iOS for about 4 years, and never had any problems with it, nor missed any feature I needed. The RevenueCat's web platform provides all sorts of analytics for in-app purchases, subscriptions, and customers; and their pricing is fair, starting from free tiers for new projects with little profits.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Nothing. It works just perfect for me, covering all my needs, and in 4 years of usage I never came across any relevant features I'd miss in the RevenueCat solution.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes care about all platform-specific nunances of in-app purchases & subscription imeplementation, making the developer's work smooth and efficient.

  ### 5. Excellent set of tools, and fantastic support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leon S. | Co Founder, CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RevenueCat has been fantastic for us to get up and running on the early days of mobile subscriptions. And it's also scaled with us over a few years. Gives us peace of mind that they can handle the little things that we wouldn't internally. Their support is top-notch, very knowledage and helpful.
The set of backend integrations has also made it easy to setup all our other backend, database and 3rd-party systems like marketing without having to build too much of that in-house.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Not many huge downsides, as we're fairly happy with the tooling and service. A few improvements that we'd welcome:
- Their docs being a bit more in-depth in certain cases could be helpful
- Fledged-out APIs to read and export all subscription and billing metrics

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrating with the mobile app stores, handling susbcriptions on mobile and web. Our first-line of analytics for all subscription and revenue aspects.

  ### 6. Great for payments solution for hobbyist developers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

As a hobbyist iOS app developer, it's great to be able to use a powerful tool like RevenueCat totally free! The fact they only charge you once you're earning a certain amount of great. It means I could implement my subscription IAP in my app without the worry of cost. Then by the time my app actually makes a decent amount I think the only charge 1% which is more than reasonable!

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Wish they had more tutorials or advice on pricing strategies. As choosing the cost of your subscription is the hardest part.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring subscription counts and seeing what is and isn't working.

  ### 7. RevenueCat has great interface and all essential to track subscriptions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natallia C. | React Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

- open source
- easy to setup revenue cat integration for devs
- all necessary charts exist
- now, it is possible to schedule several experiments simultaneously, which is fantastic!

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I like everything, but there are some nice things to have too. I will list them below
- (nice to have) statistical confidence in experiments
- (nice to have) add list templates
- (nice to have) share saved charts across the team
- (nice to have) update saved charts without creating a new one and deleting the previous one

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- running several experiments

  ### 8. Revenuecat simplified the process of adding the subscription feature to my apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mauricio L. | Desenvolvedor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

- The clear documentation and the way the SDK abstracts away the more boring details of each store is definitely what I love most.

- It is very easy and simple to integrate the SDK into any project

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

It's not exactly something I don't like about revenuecat, but it's something that's happening in the Android community (the migration to Kotlin as the main language) ends up affecting the examples that are used in the documentation and also in the repository. In my case, I still have Java apps.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Revenuecat simplified the process of adding the subscription feature to my apps. The clear documentation and the way the SDK abstracts away the more boring details of each store is definitely what I love most.

  ### 9. A Better Payment gateway

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryali N. | Freelance iOS Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Easy to write code, less Complex Code, easy integration - by the way I am an iOS Developer

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Till now, I didn't find any issues. So, I really didn't have an answer for this question.
improvements - User Dashboard.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an iOS Developer, I used it in my client's projects for subscription based integration.
Why I used RevenueCat?
Less Code Complexity.

  ### 10. Simplify the in-app-purchases and subscriptions code

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel C. | Médico, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Highly documented, RevenueCat simplifies coding and saves you valuable time. It's very simple to setup and to add the library to your apps. Best library I will stick with forever. Very easy to integrate.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Not much, in general it's a superb service I recommend to all my friends.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In RevenueCat I have a brilliant centralized dashboard with information from all my apps from all the platforms (play store and app store)

  ### 11. Saves time and headaches compared to direct integration, useful analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RevenueCat lets us focus on our product, not subscription plumbing. It's a much easier way to offer subscriptions through App Store and Google Play Store, compared to integrating directly with each billing API. Even if this only worked for Apple, it would be a deal because it's a simplified API, web hooks for billing events, and nice analytics. We've relied on them for 5 years now, they're fantastic and also do a lot for the community.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

No real downsides, it would be fun to see them add support for web-based billing engines like Paddle.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets us focus on our core product instead of basic subscription billing for Apple and Google.

  ### 12. Simply the best

  ### 13. Simplifying iOS Subscriptions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RevenueCat stands out as a comprehensive and user-friendly platform, particularly for iOS developers looking to streamline the integration of subscriptions into their applications. The service simplifies what can often be a complex process, enabling developers to focus more on their app's core functionality and less on the intricacies of subscription management.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

As an area for improvement, I would appreciate having more paywall templates available.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat offers a highly intuitive dashboard for managing products and creating paywalls. This aspect is particularly beneficial for developers aiming to customize their monetization strategies or to experiment with different subscription models. The dashboard provides a clear overview of your

  ### 16. Best solution for indie developer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleksander B. | Android Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

It is very easy to implement, it has very attractive pricing plans allowing to grow step by step. It covers all required stuff for me as an indie developer to keep in-apps arranged.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I did not find any disadvantage in RevenueCat, because it resolved all I had needed when introduced in-apps in my app.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows to have in-app management in one place together with its metrics. I do not need to have own backend with complex logic, and it saves me a lot of time and resources.

  ### 17. Must have for mobile developers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RC simplifies immensely how subscriptions are managed by an app. Their integrations with webhooks, Firebase and others make it a must have if you value not wasting time in absurdly opaque practices by Apple and Google.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Their new Paywalls are a bit limited, so I hope they add more capabilities soon!

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplyifies massively the subscription management for all mobile platforms

  ### 18. Smoothly integrated RevenueCat for seamless subscription management and insightful analytics.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomer S. | Senior iOS Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

I particularly appreciate RevenueCat's emphasis on quick and easy integration, supported by their clear and intuitive documentation. The dashboard's user-friendly interface offers comprehensive insights, contributing to an overall exceptional experience.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

While RevenueCat offers an excellent platform for subscription management, I would appreciate the addition of a designated mobile app for accessing analytics on the go. Additionally, having push notifications for new purchases would further enhance the real-time monitoring of subscription activity.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat is solving the challenge of managing subscriptions across multiple platforms by providing a comprehensive solution. Instead of developing a backend from scratch to manage subscriptions for our multiplatform product, RevenueCat offers a perfect solution, saving us valuable time and resources.

  ### 19. Real time monitoring off revenue streams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian H. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RC helped me to make one of the most difficult things, which is monetization for me, as easy as possible. With great documentation, a super nice community, top support, and super helpful content to grow your subscription business I couldn't be happier to recommend this service.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Nothing, they deserve all the applause they can get for offering such an invaluable service.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having one API to subscribe users via iOS, Android, and the web.

  ### 21. RevenueCat is awesome!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

I spent days trying to handle the App in-app purchase flow correctly on my own. It took me only a few hours to completely replace it with RevenueCat. Their billing is simple and it makes our lives so much easier.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Initially there was a lot of API churn, but it seems to have settled out.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving the complications with Apple in-app purchases.

  ### 22. Makes IAP easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Its very easy to get started. Before revenuecat we had our own backend be in charge of renewing subscriptions and handling purchases which was error prone and required a lot of setup and monitoring.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Nothing major, more realtime graphs would be cool

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes away the hassle of setting up IAP. They handle all renewals and communications with Apple/Google while we focus on building our app.

  ### 23. Great tool for apps monetization

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

The product is incredibly easy to use. A few lines of code and your app is ready to accept payments.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Some of the charts can be hard to read. Like the retention chart.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat allows me to accept payments on multiple platforms as well as track payment analytics.

  ### 25. Solid product

**Reviewed by:** Vincenzo S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I think they could improve on integrating more services and tools. Like standard rewards tools and tracking instruments , etc.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 26. Easy Cross Platform Subscriptions

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

How easy it is to manage pro access & subscriptions across all major platforms

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

The developer documentation could have more examples. Especially around Stripe.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving easy management and authentication for pro access. Pretty straightforward how it is beneficial lol.

  ### 27. Easy StoreKit

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lukas B. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2024

The analytics and graphs are somewhat limited

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Purchase validation and support i.e unlocking for specific users

  ### 28. Best experience and easy integration!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Photography | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

- easy integration
- good tutorials
- up-to-date documentation
- new features/updates every month

I use RevenueCat for all my projects and recommend it to clients as well.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I would like to have the ability to create custom lists filtering users by their custom attributes.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not need to have my own backend. RevenueCat offers subscription management, remote configs using offering metadata and experiments functionality.

  ### 29. Very easy to implement (I used flutter or swiftui)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2024

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

I appreciate RevenueCat for its centralized subscription management across multiple platforms. It simplifies handling subscriptions in one spot, especially for apps on different platforms. Perfect tool!

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

While the cost of using RevenueCat is a downside, the time saved in managing subscriptions across platforms likely makes it a worthwhile investment

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy managed all the subscription stuff

  ### 30. Great SDK, stellar customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2021

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

If you implement subscriptions, use RevenueCat. It won't solve all your problems, but those that it solves it solves, period. The customer support is fantastic!

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Small parts of the SDK are confusing - the fact that entitlements not only have to exist but also be marked as active, for example. There's a bunch of features I wish they'd build - more graphs, for example for the number of new users. But overall RC is fantastic.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Both setting up in-app purchases and subscriptions, as well as learning how they actually work in the first place.

  ### 31. The perfect tool at the right time for a young startup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frezy Stone V. | Chief Technical Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

My best feature is the fact that every app stores and/or web store data are gathered into one CRM. The fact that as a startup we don't have to develop our own backend to handle all the sync of user subscriptions status and so on... The mobile sdks are really good as well as the documentations to grasp how the tool works.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

So far, after 2 months of heavy use if I can put it like that, I wouldn't say that I dislike a feature but that improvements can be brought for example on sdk documentations, common errors. I had a hard time figuring out why I wasn't able to fetch products using the android sdk as the errors were way too generic and the revenuecats forum didn't really help on figuring the whys.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gathering mobile and web store metrics all in a single one place. Thus avoiding to connect to respective store dashboards in order to monitor business performance. Seemless integration for mobile development. The sdks are very good and really sped up the development of the inAppPurchase feature in our mobile app.

  ### 32. InApp purchases are a pain to setup, RevenueCat makes it as painless as possible

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel K. | Owner/Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Documentation is very good, walking you through not only their setup but the appstore setup as well. Once setup the amount of actual code in my app is just a few lines. I've setup inapp purchases myself in other apps and I always worry I'm doing it wrong, the purchase flow can be really complex and I wasn't handleing recepts correctly. It's good to know that's all taken care of.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Nothing yet. My new app is just getting off the ground so I expect it will be free to use Revenue Cat.. lets hope I make enough I have to pay them some day.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Piece of mind that in-app purchases are setup correctly. If you have a cross platform app it's able to validate purchases between them. Just spent alot less time setting this up, had it working in one night.

  ### 33. Intuitive, easy to use, and saves a lot of time (and money!)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colton G. | CEO, Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RevenueCat allowed me to integrate my app on Google Play, App Store, and Amazon's App Store with ease. There was little to modify from one platform to the next, which is excellent as my app is cross-platform. The user interface is intuitive and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Some of the documentation is incomplete or outdated. For example the documentation on using Amazon App Store with flutter applications. The linked documentation (from revenuecat to github) was outdated and I had to do my own research to get it to work properly.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to set up in-app purchases in a way that enables users to purchase and restore paid functionality within my apps. RevenueCat solved this problem by integrating with my current SDK (flutter) and making setting up in-app purchases a breeze. RevenueCat benefits me by saving both time and money, as well as peace of mind.

  ### 34. Makes integrating IAPs very simple

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonas M. | Co-Founder & Co-CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

The very simple and intuitive UI including the very informative charts.
Additionally, the many prebuilt integrations like Adjust and Clevertap are very helpful.
Also the easy REST API was easy to integrate into our existing system.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

The biggest disadvantage is the lack of a project clone functionality. We have two very similar projects and we had to copy it by hand which was very cumbersome.
Also the rate-limiting of the REST API returning often 423 errors wasn't a great experience and required a workaround.
Also moving the data to our BigQuery datawarehouse was a bit harder than expected.

**Recommendations to others considering RevenueCat:**

Use it as early as possible to be not forced to do a migration which takes some time.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes In-App-Purchases accessible to small teams, without requiring them to integrate the very complex IAP validation on their own. It also makes analysing it very easy which was the main selling point for me, because it was a big hassle to analyse them across Android and iOS on our own because of their different behaviours.

  ### 35. Horrible

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Razi K. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

There was nothing helpful, we wasted around 2-3 months of our time and energy

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Bad customer service, it took them 3-4 weeks to reply to a mail. The numbers on our report were not matching-inconsistent and we have been kept on hold for months and no solution in the end. It was a frustrating experience. We wasted too much time & money on a solution that does not solve anything but creates problems.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To manage subscriptions on iOS, and Android apps.

  ### 36. subscriptions are complicated - unless you can use revenueCat

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavel M. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Analytics - out of the box subscription retention and other top level metrics still require a huge initial set up - while solutons like revenuecat give you this data in no time.
Integrations - revenuecat is extremely easy to integrate into analytics and attribution (like appsflyer and amplitude for example)
Offer/product managment - running tests and managing multiple products can be extremely compilcated - but revenueCat helps a lot
Customer insights - tracking all the switches / upgrades / downgrades of a customer -

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

honestly not much - integration was stable, data valid, support fast, i guess default upgrade/downgrade events can be a bit more flexible - especially when it comes to inconsistent behoavior across platforms (i know - this is indeed caused by the differences between platforms)

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mobile application subscription management and analytics

  ### 37. very informative and useful sdk

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** שי . | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Managing subscription and in app purchases easily, integrates with firebase so we were able to connect our users with the users in revenuecat.
The sdk is very easy to use and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

It took us a while to configure all the requirements needed with google and apple, We would prefer a better and more automatic way to do this.
We also misunderstood some of the payment section - one could think that the free tier is available in all tiers as with almost every other product that offer such things

**Recommendations to others considering RevenueCat:**

Don't hesitate. Try the sdk

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing subscriptions and in app purchases.
In other apps, we've implemented it alone and without a backend, and with RevenueCat you can do it with their backend and integrate it with firebase

  ### 38. Love using RevenueCat

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan P. | App Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

The documentation is the best part of RevenueCat in my opinion. Usually docs are hard to figure out unless you already know what you're doing but using the docs with code with Chris tutorials had me up and running within a few short hours

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I wish there were more ways to filter the customers list. I'd like to see which trials are expiring the soonest or see which consumers refunded their purchases. Otherwise I don't really have any complaints

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved my issue with making subscriptions. I didn't want to go through the hassle of making databases and stuff and RevenueCat made it much easier for me to handle this

  ### 39. Managing subscriptions made easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben S. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

We haven't been using RevenueCat for long, but the best thing about it is the simplicity in managing in-app subscriptions. We are a small team so RevenueCat has meant we can focus on adding features to our app instead of spending that time writing tons of code to checking if a user has a valid subscription.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Some of the documentation hadn't been updated to latest syntax. eg referenced Purchases instead of RevenueCat, which meant initial setup was a little more difficult than it needed to be.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing subscriptions was always a headache for us and RevenueCat has made the whole process far easier. We use Firebase, which means we can easily match our Firebase user data to RevenueCat in app purchase data across Android and Apple platforms.

  ### 40. Good for developers and customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James C. | A, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Revenue Cat was super easy to implement and so far I have had no issues or complaints from customers. Revenue Cat handles my Google Play subscriptions and In-App Purchases and I love it! Way easier than implementing a backend to handle it myself.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Nothing to dislike so far about Revenue Cat.

**Recommendations to others considering RevenueCat:**

If you're an app developer, particularly one who works solo, I recommend Revenue Cat for ease of use and peace of mind. You'll save tons of time and headaches.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Revenue Cat gives me peace of mind that my customer's subscriptions and In-App Purchases will be handled properly. For example, even if a customer uninstalls and reinstalls the app their subscriptions will still be in place. I don't have to be constantly monitoring the back end to make sure it's working properly. I can trust that it's all good with Revenue Cat.

  ### 41. Excellent platform for monetizing apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorin N. | CEO / Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

The platform seems well developed and very mature. Integration is easy, and the fact that you can manage the purchases in Products, Offerings and Entitlements makes it easy to manage and change purchases shown to the user on the fly. The free tier is generous and the fact that you can add multiple projects to one account is great. Implementing the SDK is really easy as well.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

The fact that there are multiple things that you need to set up (Products, Offerings, Entitlements) can be a little bit confusing especially at first since most other platforms don't feature such a detailed and complete view of available purchases, but once you get used to them, it's really easy to use.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monetizing the app that I launched on the App Store and Google Play.

  ### 42. Easy and powerful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giovanni A. | Webmaster, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RevenueCat is really simple and easy to use.
It tracks everything about purchases, checking the expiration date for the subscriptions.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Documentation should be written with more details.
Sometimes there are some lacks in the SDK installing.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat is tracking subscriptions in my app and I need it because on iOS I have to check the subscription validity only server-side.

  ### 43. The best experience for integrating purchases in your app.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rudrank R. | Developer Relations Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

I worked on a renewable iOS subscription app last year using Apple's native framework. It was a nightmare dealing with the expiry date and managing the whole subscription process myself. It wasted the time that I wanted to use to create better app experiences for the user instead.

After using RevenueCat, the best thing I liked about it was the seamless process of integration. Let RevenueCat handle your headache and stress of managing the subscription, and you work on building a fantastic app experience. After the initial implementation, I became a RevenueCat advocate and suggested all my clients the same. And they're happy as ever using the service!

I even use it in my apps. As an indie, it saves time not to think much about purchases and let the framework handle it. The SDK provides simple methods for us to use, with excellent documentation.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

When I started, the initial step of configuring the products confused me a little. But reading their excellent documentation helped me a lot. Other than that, I've zero dislikes regarding RevenueCat.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat helps you to solve the problem of quick implementation of adding in-app purchases. Even though Apple's new StoreKit 2.0 has improved significantly, it is iOS 15.0+ only. And that's a big bummer.

The benefits that I've realized are. -
1. Saves me time.
2. Makes more money, as I spent less time implementing purchases with a better return on investment.

  ### 44. No brainer for everyone building subscription apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florian S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Revenuecat is very easy to integrate and does what it says on the tin. It enabled us to have a cross-platform subscription solution for our iOS & Android app and sooner or later we're also going to launch a web checkout on Stripe. The pricing model is friendly and makes sense.
What was unexpected is how great the reporting system is on the backend. Instead of having to gather data ourselves from multiple systems and understanding the best way to aggregate and visualize it, all that comes out of the box in the backend of Revenuecat.
Honestly just really well done.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I tried to contact the support about some questions but part of my questions were directed towards the community forum. It makes a little sense since my question was about interpreting the data but I wish Revenuecat would just offer support for those type of questions since reporting is also a selling point.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a cross-platform subscription app with excellent reporting

  ### 45. Platform does exactly what it is set out to do, not complicated to set up

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William A. | Software engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

The detailed documentation really helps alot

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

There really is not much to dislike, I did struggle a bit with the documentation on Github. There were slight differences between the Github examples and revenue cat shortcodes. As a novice, that threw me off a bit. But it worked out

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat is solving a major backend heavy code which saves valuable time for developers like myself

  ### 46. I have used RevenueCat for five different clients, it is a must have for subscription apps.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan G. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

Using RC to optimize campaign data and more accurately predict our ARPU/ARPS for our existing users. Also it informs our lifecycle marketing with its integrations with analytics and braze.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Do not have any dislikes, the biggest feature request would be a better way to incorporate A/B testing into our normal workflow.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its solves the difficulty for accurately measuring and using subscription data

  ### 47. How to launch a monetization experiment in 7 days

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denis M. | CTO, Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

It's amazing. It just works!
Initial setup took just a few hours, and the full integration into the our flutter app has been completed in a few days, including testing of subscription purchase & restore. it's much faster comparing to the native iOS subscription mechanics implementation.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

Most of the analytics tools are not available on the basic plan, so if you're just starting selling, think about addsing some external analytic tools.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reliable subscription management and quick SDK integration.

  ### 48. Effortless implementation of in app subscriptions.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2022

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

RevenueCat simplifies the process of implementing in app purchases. You just need to implement few lines of code to implement. Implementing natively is very hard IMO.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I didn't find the GitHub sample app much helpful for implementation. Had to learn from Code with Chris YouTube channel. But that's fine as I am a novice in swiftUI.

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

iOS subscription management for my education related apps. Simplified approach and server side verification. Removes my overhead of digging into verifying subscribers.

  ### 49. RevenueCat is absolutely incredible

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2021

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

I am a React Native developer so having a platform that provides an SDK for React Native is super convenient. The setup was so easy I was able to implement a complete subscription system in my app in less than three days by myself. The documentation also helped me navigate the complexities from each app store, not just the SDK setup, which was very convenient and helpful.

Outside of the SDK, I am a big fan of the Sub Club podcast. The guests on the show provide insight into subscriptions and user behavior that is saving me literal years of R&D and testing.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

The only complaint is that the Customers tab is a bit slow when loading the customer data. I also would like to see an iOS/Android app for RevenueCat. However, with the dashboard being mobile responsive, the app is not a big deal.

**Recommendations to others considering RevenueCat:**

Trying to implement in-app subscriptions by yourself makes no sense when RevenueCat exists. Save yourself the trouble and sign up

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RevenueCat has saved me hundreds of hours of development time and honestly enables me even to build a subscription model for my app. I don't know any Swift/Objective C or Java/Kotlin so implementing the libraries from Apple and Google would have taken me so long.

  ### 50. A very easy-to-use library for managing in-app subscriptions and purchase.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gorjan J. | Founder and CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about RevenueCat?**

I love the documentation, it is clear, easy to understand, and shows all scenarios that I need. I love the dashboard and quick overview of all critical data. I love that the library supports Flutter, because it is still a new technology, and not many libraries offer Flutter support.

**What do you dislike about RevenueCat?**

I would like to see an API that provides all the dashboard information so that I can integrate that into an external dashboard service that we use (like Graphana).

**What problems is RevenueCat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AirCare, an air quality app I own, has multiple subscription offerings, and I needed a Flutter-supported library to track them. RevenueCat offered just that and keeps both my iOS and Android subscriptions in one place, so I don't have to worry about 2 different interfaces.
