## Hightouch Reviews
 ### 1. A user-friendly platform with powerful integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan C. | Product Marketing Lifecycle Manager, Telecommunications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

I loved how easy it was to start using Hightouch as a new user. Its user interface is quite intuitive and modern, which makes onboarding easy. As an end user, there is a limited set of actions I typically perform on Hightouch, and after an initial training, I have found navigating the platform effortless and even enjoyable. The UI is solid enough that even if I’m doing something new, or something I haven’t repeated long enough to form muscle memory, it feels self-explanatory so I can manage even without having to explore the documentation. Perhaps most importantly for my purview, integrations with Braze and Mixpanel have made Hightouch an invaluable tool for my company, eliminating dependencies on engineering teams and making funneling data from our app into Braze (for marketing purposes) quicker and easier than ever before. They even have a built-in AI agent which has proven super helpful in building audiences. Performance has been reliably stable in my experience, I haven’t encountered any downtime or lags.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

There are some things that stand to be improved with the user interface, for example when it comes to data visualization (“Charts” under “Intelligence”): Pie chart is not available as an option, sorting options are not available when you have multiple “Group by” dimensions, and the data labels for the bars on a bar chart are truncated. Also, data isn’t automatically refreshed and you must manually click a button to refresh a dashboard or a chart. For me these are minor concerns, as these features are far from being a significant use case for me on Hightouch.
Also, this is probably a me thing, but I haven’t really gotten to the point where the internal terminology (e.g. “Activation,” “Customer Studio” on the navigation panel) is not confusing to me.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hightouch has significantly expedited our “time to market” from identifying a new data need for marketing use to when it’s available on Braze and ready to use in campaigns and segments. With the abilities afforded by Hightouch and its seamless integrations, I no longer have a bottleneck caused by a dependency on developer availability and prioritization as a marketing person. It has saved so much time and allowed us to become a lot more specific with our targeting, meaning we can send more timely, and more personalized messages to users, tailored more than ever before to where the user is lifecycle-wise.

**Official Response from Kevin Swecker:**

> Thank you so much for your feedback, Jonathan!

 ### 2. From simple syncs to high-performance advertising

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simone I. | Digital Marketing Technology Senior Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Hightouch enabled a smooth and rapid setup of both development and production environments, with seamless integration to our datalake and efficient activation of destinations like Meta and Google Ads using first-party data. It also made audience segmentation intuitive and allowed for easy and reliable syncing of audiences to external platforms.
We are now looking to further capitalize on our Conversion API setup to move beyond simple email/phone identifiers. The ability to use multiple identifiers to increase our match rate is a massive strategic advantage that Hightouch facilitates perfectly.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

The manual effort previously required to define data filters and establish consistent naming conventions highlighted a need for more automation. However, the platform is clearly evolving. We are looking forward to seeing more collaborative features that further reduce manual overhead as we scale our audience library.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hightouch effectively solved the challenge of activating customer audiences directly from Databricks to Meta and Google Ads, eliminating manual exports and drastically reducing time-to-market.
Currently, we are evaluating the Identity Resolution feature to solve the anonymous-to-known use case. This ensures that our CRM and other downstream systems stay perfectly in sync with the most accurate customer data available.

 ### 3. Effortless Data Activation with Hightouch

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roman P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

I love that Hightouch is simple to use and integrate, which made it very quick for us to start getting value out of it. I find it technical enough to boost our data engineering efforts. It's great that we could quickly scale from Google Ads offline conversion across all our MarTech systems, like our CRM and Facebook, and even in our reporting layer with Google Sheets, sending data to various API points. The simplicity of orchestration and the wide range of capabilities really make this tool very agile. Additionally, it cuts the cost of maintenance and allows us to focus more on feature enablement and scaling rather than on connection maintenance. The quick experimentation with Google Ads OCI brings budget efficiency and scalability without the associated development work. I also appreciated the very quick and simple initial setup, which allowed us to see results in a very short time.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

The UI in general is not very well for big accounts: filtering is difficult, labeling and organization of personal space can get better. Making it easier to filter what is important for me, reduce load times, provide better search experience and labeling.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hightouch activates data across tools, removing the need to support connections internally, simplifying monitoring and deployment, and keeping everything up to date easily.

**Official Response from Kevin Swecker:**

> Thank you for your feedback, Roman! We really appreciate it.

 ### 4. Powerful Custom SQL, Flexible Delivery Timelines, and Connectors That Cover Everything

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Custom SQL transformations, infinitely customizable delivery timelines, a wide range of connectors, and custom alerts are the most usable tools for me. Rather than having to customize the tables I’m delivering to Hightouch for each output or client, the custom transformation layer within HT can handle that. The customizable delivery timelines also mean it can check repeatedly, in sync with my systems’ schedule, for when to push updates instead of only doing it “once a day.” The variety of connectors means I basically don’t have to use any other service just to get data where it needs to go. And with customized alerts (including connections to Slack), I can get pinged when something goes wrong.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

The new interface is harder to navigate than the old one. It can take a very long time to push to some destinations.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't have to build any integrations with an enormous number of destinations. It reduces both maintenance & development costs, and that in itself pays for the cost of the product.

**Official Response from Kevin Swecker:**

> Thanks so much for your feedback!

 ### 5. Developer-friendly onboarding with clear modules, SDK guidance, and sample code

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayur M. | Quality Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

What I like best about Hightouch is that..
- The tool is actually easy to understand and work with, even if you are new to this kind of setup.
- The overall flow feels simple and not overcomplicated.
- Each integration is clearly separated into modules, and every module explains step by step what needs to be done in a seperate "Setup" field.
- This makes the onboarding much smoother compared to some other tools.
- Another good thing is that Hightouch clearly mentions which SDK needs to be used, it's link and how exactly it should be integrated into the code.
- The presence of sample code really helps, especially when you want to quickly test or validate the integration.
- You don’t need to guess much or search outside for examples.
- Also, showing the writer key and API key directly in the UI is very helpful, since these are the main things needed while integrating.

Overall, it feels developer friendly and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

One thing I don’t really like about Hightouch is..
- The limitation on event visibility.
- Only the latest 100 events are shown for each event source, which can be restrictive in many cases.
- Most of the time, when debugging or analyzing data issues, we want to look at older or historical events to understand patterns or failures.
- Because of this restriction, it becomes difficult to trace issues that happened earlier.
- If the event you’re looking for is not part of the last 100, then you don’t really have visibility inside the tool itself.

This makes troubleshooting a bit harder and sometimes forces you to rely on other systems or logs.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Hightouch mainly solves the problem of complexity and usability that exists in many similar tools.
- Compared to other platforms I’ve used, Hightouch feels much easier to learn and operate.
- You don’t need to spend a lot of time just understanding the basics before getting real work done.
- This benefits me by saving time during setup and integration.
- Since the steps are clearly mentioned and sample code is available, integrations can be completed faster with fewer mistakes.

Overall, it reduces the learning curve and makes data-related workflows easier to manage.

**Official Response from Kevin Swecker:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback, Ayur!

 ### 6. Effortless Data Sync, but Costly for Small Teams

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hideki T. | Data Analyst/Data Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

I like how simple it is to write SQL queries and map them to properties or events in Hightouch. It makes handling databases with hundreds of thousands of rows much easier because I can import only the changes that are needed, which saves time and effort. The integration process is quick, allowing us to ship new integrations fast and securely. Additionally, using custom variables and business logic for segmentation directly from our databases makes the process seamless and consistent. The initial setup was very simple and easy, and I got it done within a day.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Limited use for Free Tier. Unless you are ready to commit over $400/month for just a couple of connections, it's very expensive and the free tier is now very restrictive, only allowing you to run 2 syncs continuously. The recently downgraded the Free Tier use. It used to allow up to 25 syncs monthly from basic tools like Google Sheets, but now it limits you to run a maximum of 2 syncs before having to fully upgrade. At the added monthly costs, it's almost not worth it and would recommend building in-house vs using the tool.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hightouch to map SQL queries to properties or events, seamlessly syncing data from our warehouse to tools without re-running everything from scratch. It saves complexity by allowing incremental data changes, and simplifies using custom variables and logic.

**Official Response from Kevin Swecker:**

> Thank you for your feedback, Hideki!

 ### 7. Effortless Data Syncing with Outstanding Support (shoutout to Tyler Knight)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan P. | Principal Analytics & Data Strategy Advisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

I really appreciate the customer support for Hightouch, especially when it comes to getting data from point A to point B. Talonight was particularly helpful for figuring out APIs, documentation, and what it takes to transfer information from one source to another. The human support via Slack is super responsive and prompt, which has meant a lot to me and my team. I also enjoy the customization features and the ability to allow access controls, role-level security, and other elements, so that Hightouch works effectively for me. The initial setup was ready to go from day one, and in terms of the setup and implementation, it was as simple as I can remember. The customer support has been world-class, with responsiveness and letting me know when something has a solution, along with providing different options and only closing the ticket when I confirm everything is good to go. Shout out to Tyler Knight, my customer success engineer; I appreciate working with you.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

nothing comes to mind ATM

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hightouch to sync terabytes of data from warehouses to marketing platforms, enabling automatic updates for email, push, and text notifications for enterprise marketing initiatives.

**Official Response from Kevin Swecker:**

> Thanks so much for your feedback, Nathan!

 ### 8. Empowers AI Decisioning with Near Real-Time Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alvaro M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

I really like Hightouch's combination of great support and a fast-evolving product. The team is very responsive and hands-on during implementations and experiments. The platform keeps shipping meaningful features, especially around AI Decisioning. On the support side, the team is very close to us, reviewing queries, debugging performance issues, and suggesting best practices. They are also very quick and effective in answering our questions. The AI Decisioning capabilities were powerful enough to increase new account activations by around 30%.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Performance on very large queries can be a bit of a pain. For heavy workloads, like hundreds of millions of rows, we sometimes see long runtimes, and it requires collaborative tuning with our data team. It would be helpful to have built-in query optimization patterns and proactive hints in the UI. Also, for runs that exceed a certain duration, a more detailed breakdown of which step or subquery dominated the time would be beneficial. The initial setup was also a bit challenging, especially with the first connection to our Databricks warehouse. Getting the right permissions and access roles for Hightouch to read necessary schemas and tables was the most complex part.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hightouch solved our timeliness issue, allowing near real-time data syncing with marketing platforms, keeping audiences updated. The AI Decisioning feature increased new account activations by around 30%, supported by great, responsive assistance from the team during implementations and experiments.

 ### 9. Empowers Our Datalake with Seamless Data Activation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcelo D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

I use Hightouch as my main data collection and CDP platform, and I love how it serves as a powerful connector for activating data to Meta, Google, Adobe, and other vendors. I appreciate that it brings customer data directly into my datalake in Databricks in real time, which avoids the creation of data silos and allows me to activate that data easily; it's like giving superpowers to my datalake. The platform complies well with cybersecurity requirements, which is critical for Financial Services, and supports IP whitelisting, private link for data connections, and access management through SSO with SCIM provisioning. I find it easy to use, and I'm happy with how the pricing scales, so it doesn't become a huge cost issue. Additionally, I enjoy that the team is very open to suggestions and feature requests.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

They are still growing their destination connectors, so sometimes I miss them. Also, directly connecting incoming events to a destination is possible but could be easier to do. If I want to connect incoming Hightouch events to a destination (say, Meta) I usually have to ingest such events into my datalake, and then do a reverse ETL to bring it to Meta. I would like to have a native way to bring events directly into Meta, skipping the delay of ingesting them to the datalake before doing a rETL. Easy in general, but it was a bit painful to set up private links with our Azure environment. It looks like AWS support is easier than Azure to be done.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hightouch integrates customer data into my Databricks datalake, preventing data silos. It activates data across tools in a low-code environment, leveraging first-party data efficiently. It meets our cybersecurity needs and enhances datalake capabilities for real-time data flow.

**Official Response from Kevin Swecker:**

> Thanks so much for your feedback, Marcelo!

 ### 10. Top-Tier Alerting and Detailed Logs for Reverse ETL Syncs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

The alerting is top tier for reverse ETL syncs. Unlike some other reverse ETL tools, Hightouch surfaces detailed error and provides detailed logs to help you troubleshoot sync issues when they arise.

The wide variety of sources for reverse ETL syncs makes it easy for me to move data where I need for various audiences. For example: CRM software, customer service support ticket software, instant messaging apps (Hightouch can post CSVs of synced data!), marketing platforms, etc.

For our non-technical colleagues, the UI makes it very easy for them to create audiences and segments with 0 code/sql .

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

The UI has a few unintuitive things, but they are easy to navigate around with some familiarity. It fundamentally has two major features, reverse ETL (for engineers) and audience building (no code), that you kind of need to treat as two different products. For example: you may need to create the same model in both sections of the website to make it available to each.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps our marketing, growth and sales teams build audiences with 0 code. It also helps our data engineering team easily move data between many different systems to wherever it is needed.

 ### 11. Customer Studio Enables Powerful Self-Service Audiences and Easy Sync Across Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Customer Studio is a great option for data folks to set up a solid self-service tool for our colleagues, so they can create audiences and sync them across many different tools.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

The differences between the rETL models and Customer Studio aren’t very clear to me, and it’s not obvious how they’re meant to be distinguished. I wish the pricing model wasn't based on the # of syncs

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our marketing and sales teams can generate audiences without writing any code, which makes the process much easier and more accessible for everyone. Getting integrated was a pretty simple process

 ### 12. Powerful reverse ETL for marketing and customer data activation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael B. | Head of CRM Tech, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Hightouch makes it easy to activate data directly from Snowflake into tools like Braze, Iterable, and HubSpot without custom pipelines. I can build audiences and sync attributes in a no-code way, while still having the flexibility to use SQL for complex models. It’s reliable, transparent, and helps us move faster by bridging data warehouse and marketing tools without requiring heavy engineering support.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Some sync jobs can take longer than expected depending on volume, and scheduling options aren’t always as granular as I’d like. While the integrations are strong, advanced transformations sometimes still require workarounds. Pricing can also be steep for organizations with large contact volumes, so cost management needs to be considered early.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hightouch solves the challenge of activating warehouse data into marketing and sales tools without building custom pipelines. It allows us to sync customer attributes and audiences from Snowflake directly into Braze, Iterable, and HubSpot, ensuring teams work with consistent and up-to-date data. This reduces manual CSV uploads, saves engineering resources, and enables faster campaign execution. By bridging analytics and engagement platforms, it helps us deliver more personalized, timely messaging and ultimately drive better results for our clients.

 ### 13. The only solution with all the integrations I needed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nate H. | Customer Success Rep, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Very good to work with. When I needed to make changes to our integrations, they were quick and helpful with questions that I have.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

I'd love to see a lower priced starter plan, to know I have a cap but also room to work with.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to integrate our site data, database warehouse, CRM and CSP together. Data can then be shared between all of these different sources. Everything is automatically synced after we query our database, and it goes straight to our CRM and our CSP.

**Official Response from Kevin Swecker:**

> Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Nate!

 ### 14. Seamless Databricks-to-Iterable Data Connection

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaylee E. | Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Being able to connect my data from databricks to iterable

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Cloning syncs to Iterable and receiving errors due to 'duplicate name' even though I've renamed the new sync

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing me to reach wider audiences and have more targeted campaigns by being the connector between systems

**Official Response from Kevin Swecker:**

> Thanks so much for your feedback, Kaylee!

 ### 15. Personalized Multichannel Campaigns Based on In-Product Behavior

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Hightouch made it very easy for me to send targeted, multichannel marketing campaigns based on customer/user in-product behavior.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

No complaints. I was not involved in the technical setup between our data warehouse and our CRM+Marketing Automation Platforms, so I can't speak to the set-up and integration work required. But the data in our CRM/MAP was accurate and up-to-date across a large userbase.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's challenging to launch relevant, personalized marketing campaigns based on user behavior. As a marketing leader at a software company with a PLG motion, the ability to easily deploy personalized campaigns is mission-critical to hitting revenue goals. Hightouch made user data visible, actionable, and trustworthy, allowing me (and the team) to create and deploy effective campaigns with ease.

**Official Response from Kevin Swecker:**

> Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback!

 ### 16. HightTouch really came through for us. It was a breeze to set up and the support team was fantastic.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abey T. | Jr Data Engineer at Solid Professor., Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

I love how easy it is to integrate with our data stack and how responsive the support team is when it comes to issues and blockers.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

We initially used HT to automate invoice generation with Quickbooks, but stopped due to lack of safeguards to reduce user errors. This isn’t an issue with HT, but with Quickbooks. When we integrated it with our platforms’ database, errors appeared, and these errors stemmed from the MySQL database, not HT.I’m not sure how HT can enhance safeguards in this scenario, but I thought I’d mention it.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re syncing our legacy library with our new platforms library since all new content is currently generated in the legacy library.

 ### 17. Intuitive, super‑quick setup with clear sync insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad Imran H. | Data Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

I’ve been using Hightouch for over a year now, and it’s become the easiest part of my day.

Initial setup and day to day runs are super intuitive. I was able to connect Hightouch to Snowflake warehouse in under five minutes—no hoops, no hidden configs. The UI is the best part of this tool - It is super intuitive: models and syncs are laid out in a way that just makes sense, and I never feel lost clicking around.

Whenever a sync hiccups, the “Errored Rows” page is a lifesaver. I can see exactly which records failed and why, fix them in my source. Plus, the built‑in charts give me a quick pulse on how things are running—sync durations, MQR (monthly queried rows), usage trends.

What I love most:

1. Effortless setup
2. Intuitive UI
3. Error handling
4. Built‑in analytics

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

The pricing of the product should be more transparent.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were maintaining homegrown cron jobs and scripts just to push Snowflake data into apps—every tiny schema change meant diving back into code, and failures stayed hidden until a sales rep noticed stale data. Hightouch replaces all of that with a simple, no‑code UI. Now our reverse ETL is bulletproof, and our teams get fresh data without ever opening a script.

 ### 18. Beware: Abrupt Policy Changes and No Data Access after changes

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mael T. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

It was an easy to use and simple tool for making our datalake accessible to business teams.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

After having used Hightouch for more than 2 years, they decided to completely change the conditions of us making it unaffordable, all within 2 months. And they did not communicate properly about the changes making our account completely unaccessible, and leaving us with no way to migrate our data. I would not trust them again with any of my data or any business sensitive process.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data connector

 ### 19. Easy experience, and excellent for reverse ETL!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank S. | Data Analyst, Data Protection Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Hightouch has proven very useful for target-grabbing data from one system and funneling it into another, which was essential to us in light of a lack of sufficient integrations in our middleware systems in getting data to our destinations. The UI is very user-friendly and the options were plentiful.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Nothing to improve at this point. Hightouch has proven sufficient!

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reverse ETL. We had some computed traits and aggregate data that was needing to be routed back through our CDP, which Hightouch enabled perfectly. Unfortunately, our CDP then also developed native reverse ETL and we abandoned Hightouch for it.

 ### 20. Data connections made easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian K. | Business Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

I like how easy Hightouch makes it to connect data across different sources in order to complete analyses and uncover insights. I also like how intuitive the system is to use to set up things like error flagging.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

The error messages could be more descriptive to understand what issues are.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hightouch allows us to integrate data across a disparate set of sources so we can perform deep analyses even when information is not in formats that traditionally link with one another.

 ### 21. Overall recommend

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Hightouch makes it incredibly easy to activate data from our warehouse and sync it to downstream tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Facebook Ads without needing to build custom pipelines. The UI is intuitive, and the integration setup is fast — we were able to get value within hours. The support team is also very responsive and knowledgeable, and features like audience segmentation and sync scheduling are robust and reliable. It really empowers our marketing and sales teams to act on real-time data without engineering bottlenecks.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

While Hightouch covers most of our needs, the pricing can scale quickly as data volume and destinations increase, which might be a concern for smaller teams. Additionally, although the UI is user-friendly, some advanced logic or transformations still require SQL knowledge — which can be a barrier for non-technical users unless they're trained. More built-in templates or drag-and-drop tools for transformations would be a nice improvement.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

described previously

 ### 22. Very easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gustavo M. | Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

I've found the HTTP destination lately which was a game changer for me. And found the support team really helpful in assisting me in a use case.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

I cant't think of other improvements so far.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted to connect Snowflake to Intercom. It will help us to replace an inhouse solution that was hard to configure and took a lot to maintain, so is lowering our cost.

 ### 23. Amazing Data Junction like Air Traffic Controller

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaitanya P. | Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Very easy to source the data from various database and convert them into segments

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Please improve the response time, else all looks amazing

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its allowing us to merge multiple data sources and helping find the right match

 ### 24. No Longer Wait for Dev Hours to Deliver Personalized Marketing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Hightouch has allowed the Marketing and Data teams to deliver composable and managed data back into third party ads platforms: delivering personalized and well targeted campaigns quickly. Prior to Hightouch, the Marketing team had to advocate for Dev hours in a prioritization meeting to implement any first party data share. This was very difficult and often resulted in implementations that worked initially but were not managed by the Dev team and would eventually break.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

The least helpful part of Hightouch is the debugging process for the http request connectors.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hightouch helps us better leverage first party data outside of our data warehouse and back into our marketing tools. It has allowed the Marketing team to deliver results through the death of pixel based tracking without the help of the Dev team.

 ### 25. Great ETL tool that helps us with our data pipelines

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

After using various other tools we settled with Hightouch which makes our lives easier syncing data between our various software applications. Ease of use and easy to setup.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Sometimes the error messages are hard to understand especially when we tried to sync data from Snowflake to Salesforce. This was a bug though which Hightouch fixed.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensuring that our data is updated from Snowflake to various other applications. Automatically creates records for our team to use that saves them time.

 ### 26. HighTouch is non-technical user friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna-Lisa D. | Senior Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

HighTouch allows me as a product manager to tweak and edit our data integration between our platform/data warehouse and our CRM tool, HubSpot. Its connection with mongo and snowflake allows us to easily filter and query the data before we sync it.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

HighTouch needs to improve their error reporting, especially for large batches. Right now it takes a long time to generate the error report in a CSV with line items but it would help us better troubleshoot to be able to get this faster/at all. Also needs better logging when errors occur.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to connect customer data from our data systems (mongo, snowflake) to HubSpot, our CRM tool. It allows us to filter out any unnecessary data through JSON queries and easily schedule these jobs to run daily and in order via sequences.

 ### 27. Amazing CDP that meets all the needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Real-time data syncing from the warehouse to downstream tools.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Nothing so far, as the functionality works as expected.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hightouch solves syncing data from our warehouse to tools (CRM, marketing, GTM, etc.) automatically and in real‑time.

It empowers marketing to self‑serve, saves engineers time, and also ensures data consistency.

 ### 28. Ship data between platforms within minutes!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yi Yun T. | Analytics Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Easy to use interface, such that you can set up sources, destinations and syncs within minutes. I love the sequences feature, which helps to ensure that the syncs are run in sequence. Integration with commonly used platforms are a breeze. Without hightouch, we would be spending so much more time in developing solutions rather than activating campaigns and analyzing data. Love it!
Customer support is fantatstic too. Highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Pricing model could be more friendly for start-ups by going by number of destinations instead of number of syncs. Reason being, there are many individual use cases, that require separate syncs, so it is difficult to limit the number of syncs.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing data together from multiple platforms, especially from the database and warehouse into other services downstream such as marketing automation tools, googlesheets, CRM tools etc.

 ### 29. Simple and functional

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Once it's properly setup, it's easy to understand the basic features. Building models and activating syncs is very straightforward. The customer support works very well in the slack channel, although other messaging tools could be supported.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

The usability and smoothness of interface usage could be improved. The possibility of ordering the lists of models and sycns would be very helpful, for example. Also, I would like to have the option to duplicate syncs to reuse some settings (with option to change de model).

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can use it as a hub to gather data from our datalake and sending them to other endpoints. This provides us a good amount of flexibility to solve problems ina simple way.

 ### 30. Good experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jules J. | Lead Analytics Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

The global experience is nice, the web interface, drag and drop and "json" edition, github integration, the ability to tag different assets...
The integration with dbt is really deep (access to models and also jobs)

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Investigation on warnings and errors can be improved. Also it's not always clear what is the strategy implemented to change the data (what if data is already good in the destination?).
It's an expensive tool, so it's worth it if you have multiple sync per destionations.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Synchronising our Datawarehouse with Operational tools (owned and used by multiple Business units).
It help us to keep a clean process that can be edit easily at any time

 ### 31. Hightouch

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

The introduction of the Personalization API allows for real-time querying of data warehouse models with sub-30 millisecond latency, enabling personalized experiences within applications.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

It could be clearer and faster error reporting, especially for large batches, and better logging when errors occur.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is super easy to monitor the data sync.

 ### 32. Very useful reverse ETL tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

It is a very reliable tool and easy to setup

The UI is little confusing. It can be made intuitive

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using high touvh for reverse ETL tool from different

 ### 33. Amazing Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

The ease of Use UI and the readily avilable support integration through slack. Also love how many integrations they have

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

None in particular. One are to improve - the how to documentation

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves time for us when we need to send back the data to our backend team. Reduces our engineering efforts in setting up that internally and makes our life easier

saves us so much time for the marketing team

 ### 34. Hightouch has been a great experience full of informative data

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

Upsides include great data and detailed information

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Downsides include load time speeds, especially during larger data pulls.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hightouch helps me understand more about customers, making my manual prospecting efforts smoother and more efficient.

 ### 35. has helped with my processess

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

its not a part of my stack integrations/everyday flows

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

cross referenceing other data

 ### 36. Hightouch unlocks new capabilities for our data team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett W. | Sr Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Hightouch is an extremely flexible platform, when we're deciding how to do something I can't tell you how many times the answer is "we can do it with hightouch".

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

The most difficult part of using hightouch is how the user needs to be extremely careful with their primary keys, especially with event driven syncs. I wouldn't necessarily trust a less experienced analyst or engineer to get everything set up correctly.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hightouch lets us set up real time alerts to slack so stakeholders can know as soon as something they care about happens in the platform. This supports both our ops and product teams. We also use it to sync data transformed with dbt in our data warehouse to financial planning tools, customer service platforms, and a few other places.

 ### 37. Reverse ETL is made easy with simple SQL coding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek P. | Senior Analytics Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

The ability to reverse ETL sync to push data into third-party platforms increases data accessibility.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

I haven't seen nor come across anything I dislike about the product.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When our sales department wanted to view information on our clients, Salesforce wouldn't provide the complete picture unless manual data entry was done. The ability to do a reverse ETL sync unblocks this issue.

 ### 38. Excelent

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Schema and debugging was harder to setup initally.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hightough to write data from warehouse to diffrent tools, and it has helped me do it seamlessly.

 ### 40. Easy to use Composable CDP

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Not that i can think of, However, All the tools that they have increasing their potential would make them more amazing.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

accuracy in customer data platform.

 ### 42. Saved us hours of time and effort

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam B. | Revenue Operations Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Before implementing Hightouch we had get our dev teams involved in updating our Salesforce integration to include new data points, this would often take weeks to fit into a sprint or have it prioritised at all.

Since using implementing Hightouch we've been able to removed the dev teams from the process and now we can jump in and add new syncs and models anytime we need to it's been a lifesaver to our RevOps team

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Not much bad to say about Hightouch, we have a simple implementation right now. If I had to nitpick right now some of the UI could be updated to better show which models and syncs are linked but pretty minor

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our speed to update data points from Snowflake to Salesforce has reduced dramactically, we no longer wait weeks to have work prioritised by dev teams and can just add and update as needed

 ### 43. Connecting to CRM pipelines

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kush P. | Data Scientist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Very intuitive to connect warehouses to CRM.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Mainly was the pricing that was what I disliked.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting platform data to CRM to track clients.

 ### 44. Good product, good service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

It works well. Good customer service. Good value.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

The user interface is not super intuitive, but easy to learn.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sync between systems

 ### 45. Great experience, intuitive and user friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leonel R. | Data & Analytics Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Hightouch is a very intuitive, user friendly platform that is easily connected with multiple destinations, it helps a lot on our pipeline.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

There are a few controls that could be implemented for change control to help understand impact of changes from the past.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting data to specific objects in the destinations, it helps a lot by having recurrence and trigger decision it helps freshness of our data.

 ### 46. Easy to use, responsive team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam F. | Head of Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

I was able to get Hightouch connected to my application and Churnzero very quickly and I had my first sync running within 15 minutes. The UX is simple, and the way the data is structured is smart. Example: I decided to export some of my data to a spreadsheet, and I was able to use the same query very easily but simply hooking it up to a new destination.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

The pricing model is a struggle for me because the structure of my data means I will need a lot of "syncs" which will be expensive. That said, I had at least three Hightouch team members working on me to help me figure out what we could do to make it work.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to get data out of my SAAS product and into Churnzero and a spreadsheet. This entire process was MUCH faster than I expected it to be.

 ### 47. Intuitive & well designed product, and great experience from Sales & Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maël H. | Senior Manager Analytics & Strategy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

The path to value from the moment we started our demo was incredibly clear: we set up 3 destinations in a matter of days (and later on another 1) and were able to create models and data feeds in minutes. I can say with confidence that all 3 of our Hightouch power users LOVE the app - we have set up message automation in slack, and built a CDP that feeds automated campaigns in intercom & our marketing software.

Our AE in Australia has been very supportive, putting us in touch with key people within High touch & sharing useful resources.
Keep up the good work team Hightouch

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Honestly, I can't really think of too many - will keep my eyes peeled but the app really does the trick. One suggestion for the team would be to perhaps do more webinars on how other customers are using the Hightouch app and ecosystem of partners. Not a deal-breaker but always good for inspiration

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hightouch allows us to push transformed, sanitised data in Snowflakes, aggregated from our many apps, and push it to where it matters : automated notifications, cases and messages to our own teams, data-driven in app messaging and outreach via email to our customers, etc.

 ### 48. The Best ETL System from DB to Systems

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gali A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

Over the past two years, I've worked with HT and considered it one of the best third-party API solutions.
This is the one if you need API and syncing between your DB and your system!
The Suport is very good also.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

They only have the option of synchronizing from DB to the system.
The reverse sync is missing.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Auto Upate date from the DB/Google Sheet to the systems

 ### 49. Hightouch - The Ideal Reverse ETL Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

* Contains the most common destinations for reverse ETL processes out of the box
* Easy to use, takes a lot of pressure off of Data Engineering teams to focus on other infrastructure issues by providing a reliable platform to quickly push data from your warehouse into other data systems
* Very helpful and flexible support team - made updates to their Redshift SSH tunnel user configuration for us to help accomodate our VPC requirements in AWS
* Far superior to competitors like Snaplogic. More intuitive to use, better support team, more friendly Customer Success and Account Management teams as well. Overall far better experience with Hightouch

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

Quite honestly I have not found anything specific that I don't like about Hightouch.

The only quirk we ever ran into with them was setting up the SSH tunneling to Redshift and their support team was very accomodating!

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

* Resolves the most common use cases for reverse ETL by providing an easy to use interface to connect data from our warehouse
* Allows our data engineering team to focus on harder problems within the organization

 ### 50. I use HT to synchronize data from a warehouse to third party and in-house applications.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hunter M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Hightouch?**

I like the way HT does error handling. When creating a custom endpoint for a sync, like a cloud function/lambda/etc, I can define how HT will deal with exceptions. If I surface them to HT one way, HT will automatically retry that sync (if I configure the sync to do that). If surfaced a different way, there will just be a message associated with that record, and the sync will not be retried. This has been helpful in a recent project where many syncs need to be constructed and tested without spamming me with nuisance sync errors.

**What do you dislike about Hightouch?**

My typical development pattern is to create a model in HT using straight SQL, build a sync, test, and later create a dbt model. It would be nice if I could easily transition the existing sync to the new model. But since a sync is a child of a model, I have to create a new sync. The "Edit as JSON" button is useful for this, but it would be ideal to just swap the model without rebuilding the sync.

**What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company has multiple third-party and in-house applications that share data. Reports need to be generated that inclue multiple data sources. We have selected a data warehouse architecture, where data flows into the warehouse from all applications. HT allows data to flow from the warehouse to individual applications (which need to share data with each other). We could build such pipelines ourselves, but it there would be a significant development and maintenance cost.
