The UX is simple, and the way the data is structured is smart. Example: I decided to export some of my data to a spreadsheet, and I was able to use the same query very easily but simply hooking it up to a new destination. **What do you dislike about Hightouch?** The pricing model is a struggle for me because the structure of my data means I will need a lot of "syncs" which will be expensive. That said, I had at least three Hightouch team members working on me to help me figure out what we could do to make it work. **What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to get data out of my SAAS product and into Churnzero and a spreadsheet. I can say with confidence that all 3 of our Hightouch power users LOVE the app - we have set up message automation in slack, and built a CDP that feeds automated campaigns in intercom & our marketing software. Our AE in Australia has been very supportive, putting us in touch with key people within High touch & sharing useful resources. Keep up the good work team Hightouch **What do you dislike about Hightouch?** Honestly, I can't really think of too many - will keep my eyes peeled but the app really does the trick. One suggestion for the team would be to perhaps do more webinars on how other customers are using the Hightouch app and ecosystem of partners. Overall far better experience with Hightouch **What do you dislike about Hightouch?** Quite honestly I have not found anything specific that I don't like about Hightouch. The only quirk we ever ran into with them was setting up the SSH tunneling to Redshift and their support team was very accomodating! **What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?** * Resolves the most common use cases for reverse ETL by providing an easy to use interface to connect data from our warehouse * Allows our data engineering team to focus on harder problems within the organization ### 8. When creating a custom endpoint for a sync, like a cloud function/lambda/etc, I can define how HT will deal with exceptions. If I surface them to HT one way, HT will automatically retry that sync (if I configure the sync to do that). If surfaced a different way, there will just be a message associated with that record, and the sync will not be retried. This has been helpful in a recent project where many syncs need to be constructed and tested without spamming me with nuisance sync errors. **What do you dislike about Hightouch?** My typical development pattern is to create a model in HT using straight SQL, build a sync, test, and later create a dbt model. It would be nice if I could easily transition the existing sync to the new model. But since a sync is a child of a model, I have to create a new sync. The "Edit as JSON" button is useful for this, but it would be ideal to just swap the model without rebuilding the sync. **What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?** My company has multiple third-party and in-house applications that share data. Reports need to be generated that inclue multiple data sources. We have selected a data warehouse architecture, where data flows into the warehouse from all applications. HT allows data to flow from the warehouse to individual applications (which need to share data with each other). We could build such pipelines ourselves, but it there would be a significant development and maintenance cost. ### 9. We use it to sync data to Salesforce and Hubspot from our data warehouse, and it does that job with ease. One of the things I have been most impressed with is the customer support experience. I don't need to use the support a lot, but it is very smooth when I do. Their support reps are available in my company slack as a connected channel. Tickets can be created directly from slack and all updates are received through that medium. I love it! They also support a few free connectors which we didn't notice until after we signed the contract, and they were a big help or us. **What do you dislike about Hightouch?** Organization within the app gets a little tricky as lots of pipelines get built. I don't have great ways to name things like syncs to make them easier to organize, but tags and folders help make that manageable. **What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?** We built a lot of business logic in our data warehouse, and needed ways to share the output of that business logic with the company, specifically in Sales and Marketing. It has allowed us to be more flexible in the data that we can send to third-party systems as well as back into our application database, which is the true operationalization of data that we needed. Even more so, when we have any form of hiccups in our distribution the team at Hightouch almost feels like they are just another department within our organization. They answer every issue, nearly immediately, and handle it like it the most important thing, even when it's a mistake on our part. **What do you dislike about Hightouch?** I am not a fan of writing a "non-answer" to a question, but I honestly can't think of anything that I dislike. They were amazing from the initial sales calls all the way through day-to-day usage... **What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?** The best solve has been the ability to use the warehouse more effectively. We can now be slightly less critical about how something is stored and put more emphasis on how the data is used. ### 12. It might be nice to have some email digest telling the user if any of their syncs failed, or if there were any unexpected errors to look into. This means you can standup a system to have active viable data with error handling, while you can either build out your own system, or focus on providing value. **What do you dislike about Hightouch?** It costs more money than building things yourself, however in the short run less money than paying someone to build you a system. It would be nice for built-in bidirectional sync to SFDC, that would really be a gamechanger for a lot of people and directly compete with the wildly overpriced "Heroku Connect" **What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy to pull data out of Salesforce with AWS products, but pushing it back in isn't as easy or efficient, not to mention HighTouch handles the database diffing so you only push data that has changed recently. ### 15. We wanted to collect the data from all the tools that we are using, and it's possible now with Hightouch. **What do you dislike about Hightouch?** There is nothing much like dislike; it is a good tool; I can't think of anything that is disliked, it works without any error and its performance is also good. so no comments about dislike **What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a use case where we wanted to pull data from different apps that we are using and send it to the warehouse, and then after doing some changes need to send it in mixpanel so that, based on the data we can generate reports and all the tools that we are supported by the hightouch so this is how it solves our problem. ### 23.
