## Domo Reviews
  ### 1. All-in-One Platform for Real-Time Analytics and Dashboards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anuj T. | Sr. Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

What I like best about Domo is its ability to bring data from multiple sources into a single, easy-to-use dashboard. The real-time data updates and interactive visualizations make it very convenient to monitor performance and make quick decisions. It also offers strong reporting features and user-friendly interface, which helps both technical and non-technical users work efficiently. Additionally, the cloud-based access allows me to view insights anytime, anywhere, improving overall productivity.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

One downside of Domo is its relatively high cost compared to other BI tools, which can be a concern for smaller teams. Additionally, some advanced features have a learning curve and may require technical knowledge to fully utilize. At times, performance can slow down when handling large datasets, and customization options in certain areas feel limited. Improving documentation and support response time would also enhance the overall experience.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo helps solve the problem of scattered and disconnected data by bringing multiple data sources into one centralized platform. Earlier, it was time-consuming to manually collect and analyze data from different systems, which often led to delays and inconsistencies. With Domo, data is integrated and updated in real time, allowing for faster and more accurate reporting.
This has benefited me by saving time, improving data visibility, and enabling quicker decision-making. The interactive dashboards make it easy to track key metrics, identify trends, and share insights with the team, ultimately increasing productivity and efficiency.

  ### 5. No-Code Ease with Domo, Boosting Sales Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlin R. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I find Domo super easy to use, especially for nontechnical people. It's really straightforward to learn the analytics side, which is great since the people creating visualizations in my team don't typically have a technical background. Using Domo's no-code platform makes it easy to train up the team, which is awesome for filtering and changing date ranges on cards. It's also been easy to train our salespeople on how to do what they need to do on the cards.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I know that my team always has a hard time on launch day when new products come out. It significantly slows down the rest of Domo. But all things considered, like, that's a you know, once a month max problem. And it usually bounces back pretty quickly.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo lets our sales teams easily access data and contacts in real-time on their phones. It's user-friendly for nontechnical folks, making it easy to create visualizations without coding and train our team on filtering and date ranges.

  ### 6. Intuitive and User-Friendly Reporting with Domo

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I really like Domo's analyzer and how easy it is to bring in data using the connectors. The interface is wonderful and super simple. The ability to create cards and dashboards is very user-friendly, unlike any other reporting tool. I love Domo, and I'm all in. It's definitely a product I'd recommend to others.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

Sometimes there's challenges with those connectors on knowing which ones to use. So, you know, there's OAuth and different API ones. Like, even with NetSuite, there's several different types of connectors, and it's a little confusing on which one to use and how to get it to work. We usually get past it, but those connectors sometimes are difficult. Also the AI features have been difficult to ramp up to be useful.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Domo to combine system data for reporting, overcoming poor reporting in systems like NetSuite and Shopify, giving us easy-to-digest insights.

  ### 7. User-Friendly and Intuitive: A Great First BI Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela T. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

It's super user friendly. It was my first BI tool after switching careers from working in a lab at a hospital to becoming a BI Analyst, and I'm so glad it was my first BI tool because it's so intuitive. Switching career paths is scary, and I think I would have been discouraged otherwise.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

There are some querks. You have to know why it gets "angry" sometimes. The error messages are not very descriptive whenever you're writing SQL -- especially in the Views Editor. Also, users can do things that "break" cards, like clicking a random number to go into a drilldown instead of a name.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whenever I started at my new job, they were barely using Domo. They only had tables of data and not much visualization. I completely changed that by building them a dashboard in App Studio, with the company's color scheme to make everything cohesive. They love the look, but more importantly, they love having access to data pulled from multiple sources in a way that they can visualize the relationships and really get a whole view of the business.

  ### 8. Empowers Self-Service Yet Maintains Governance and Quality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zac L. | Senior IT Manager - Enterprise Data Warehouse, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like that Domo enables decision makers to self-serve while also allowing a central analytics practice to instill governance and standards. It helps my data engineers focus on giving foundational validated data to SMEs, who can then shape it as needed. I also appreciate that we can monitor usage and ensure the right data is adopted, eliminating duplicated efforts. Additionally, the initial setup of Domo was easy.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

Domo makes it hard to manage consumption credits. I know people are consuming them but it is hard to distinguish when they are good credit spend or bad credit spend. Domostats could also use a nice overhaul. It is frustrating I have to pay to see my own stats.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Domo to support decision-making in our manufacturing company, managing orders, inventory, and optimizing processes. It allows decision-makers to self-serve with validated data while ensuring governance, reducing duplicated efforts and fostering adoption of the right data.

  ### 9. Intuitive Tool with Robust Features, AI Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danny M. | IT Data Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I find Domo very easy to use, especially since it's made for people without a technical background. I'm really impressed with the Magic ETL feature—it’s a simple tool that lets me modify data without needing to know programming, and it’s been updated to handle almost anything I need. I also like the beastmode calculation feature because it allows me to do complex calculations on a card level without altering the original data, which is really helpful. The cards themselves are great too, offering small features like easily sorting values with just a click, which I don't see in other tools like Power BI.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

My company's data isn't a good fit for Domo AI features, and Domo is pushing a lot on AI stuff.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo helps our employees with compliance by using checklists on job sites, and integrates various information into a single dashboard for HR and accounting to avoid multiple data sources.

  ### 10. Comprehensive, Flexible Reporting That Finds the Data You Need

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie R. | Director of Product Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

Very comprehensive reporting that can be filtered and sorted in a variety of ways to find the data that I need.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

Domo can quickly feel overwhelming because of the sheer number of filters and boards, and I sometimes find it difficult to tell whether I’m interpreting the data correctly.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What user trends are we seeing that affect renewal and retention rates, and how should that guide what we build as a design and product team? I also leverage it to find top or bottom users of a feature so I can pull a list for user interviews.

  ### 11. Highly Customizable, AI-Driven Data Analysis Tool with Ease of Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trey B. | Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I appreciate Domo's customization capabilities which allow me to create dashboards and apps that truly fit our needs, making it feel personalized. I also like the AI forward thinking, as the implementation of AI has rapidly increased our productivity in development. Additionally, the initial setup of Domo was very easy for us.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I don’t love the worry of credit usage. I don’t have a clear idea of how many credits I am using for each execution and I’m not sure when I need to be worried about when a project is eating up more credits than I planned for.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo brings all our different data into one place to answer business questions and offers customization capabilities that make dashboards and apps feel personalized. The AI implementations rapidly increase development productivity.

  ### 12. Easy to Use, Highly Customizable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew P.

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I use Domo for my job as a BI analyst, and it helps us pull data from all our different sources and display it in a clean way all in one place. I love how easy it is to use and learn. It has been really valuable because if Domo doesn’t natively have a visualization I’m looking for, I can build a custom one. I enjoy that Domo gives us the ability to create our own apps inside of it. I've built a custom home page, custom visualizations, and many other things using pro code apps.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I would love to see some more governance around App Studio apps, specifically mapping app pages to the parent app and the ability to give users access to specific pages within the app.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo helps pull data from different sources and displays it cleanly in one place. It's easy to use and learn, allows building custom visualizations, and supports creating own apps within Domo.

  ### 13. Intuitive for Quick Simple Powerful Reporting, but Complex Needs are Hard to Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

domo is extremely intuitive for new BI platform users. you can easily stand up a small reporting cycle without knowing the platform in a single day

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

the abstraction of no-code greatly limits the ability to improve or enhance processes. the more complex reporting architecture and needs suddenly become massive complicated and are no longer intuitive and there are not nearly enough resources available between both Domo, Inc and the community to be able to help support and troubleshoot/instruct

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

domo does a lot for us, centralizes business logic and produces reporting and visualization, it's also being considered for AI platform uses since many of our users are familiar with Domo versus a 3rd party AI platform that is a bit distanced from our business logic and data.

  ### 14. Comprehensive BI Tool with Room for Pricing Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Venkata M. | Bench Sales Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like Domo because it is practical. It's less about perfect modeling and more about helping teams act on data every day. The feature I value the most is Magic ETL with Alerts as a very close second. It eliminates the dependency on data engineers for every small change and speeds up dashboard delivery dramatically. It bridges the gap between raw data and usable metrics. The initial setup with Domo is fairly easy compared to more engineer-heavy BI tools. We moved to Domo from Power BI because of faster time to insight, it's an all-in-one platform, and it offers better operational use. I would definitely recommend Domo to a friend or colleague.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

The main things that don't work and should improve are complex data modeling and governance. There's no strong semantic layer like Looker's LookML, which makes it harder to enforce metric definitions across large organizations. It should have better version control, testing, and reuse for ETL, along with stronger centralized metric governance. Additionally, the cost and licensing complexity can be an issue; the pricing feels high as usage scales, and the licensing for users and storage can be confusing. It should improve by offering simpler, more transparent pricing and better cost visibility for admins.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo solves visibility, speed, and alignment problems around data. It centralizes scattered data and speeds up report building, making it easier for teams to act on data every day.

  ### 15. DOMO: Powerful End-to-End Cloud Data Platform for Massive-Scale Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

It’s a end-to-end data platform that enables users to connect data from various sources, merge/wrangle data through its various powerful dataflow tools, and visual the data with its flexible dashboards/Apps. The best thing about it is that it’s happening on the cloud which means it can process billions of rows without overwhelming your local device.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I like how DOMO continuously adapt to the market, but sometimes it can be difficult to keep up to date of all the new features and updates. It almost feels like we need a dedicated person to keep track of the updates and determine whether the updates are relevant to our environment.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps get information or insights to the end users a lot faster than the traditional excel-based reports. Which means, decision and changes can be implemented a lot faster. It also reduces the amount of manual effort by the end users and provides them with additional time to focus on decisions and actions.

  ### 16. Streamlined Data Magic, A Must-Have

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brent F.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I love Domo because it's such a great tool, simple to use with a wide capability to connect to your data wherever it resides. The Magic ETL is unbelievable and instrumental in taking raw data and preparing it for visualization and actionability. The Work Flow component is very powerful and impressive. I like that I can connect to our source data platforms, extract data easily, transform it, and visualize it in both App and Dashboard formats all within Domo, eliminating the need for multiple software platforms. The presence of over 1,000 connectors is fantastic, and the ability to build custom connectors gives tremendous capability. The extract, transform, and visualize tools provide a simple path to convert raw data into actionable insights quickly. I found the initial setup of Domo to be very easy and efficient, being able to get started and have workflows and Apps in place swiftly.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I'm on a learning curve in using the workflow module, but with more time using it, I expect it to be as friendly and easy to use as the rest of the Domo platform. I would like to see the grid type format that has been added to Magic ETL be added to the workflow module.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo simplifies connecting, extracting, transforming, and visualizing data all in one platform, speeding up the process from concepts to actionable insights in hours or days. It supports client self-service with secure data permissions and integration, enhancing my team's data delivery to clients.

  ### 17. Powerful Features, But Needs Refinement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sahana R. | Data Scientist

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like Domo primarily for its Magic ETLs and its ability to centralize data from multiple sources. Magic ETLs are a strong core feature. They’re icentral to how my team builds and maintains our data pipelines. Domo also makes it relatively easy to build dashboards and present data in a visually appealing way, particularly through cards and apps. The wide range of connectors, especially for Salesforce and Eloqua, is a key reason we use the platform.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I feel that some newer features are being rolled out before they’re fully ready, especially Domo Apps. More noticeably, the AI-powered tools often feel underdeveloped or not sufficiently thought through for real-world workflows. Another challenge is visualization flexibility. The current set of chart and card visualization options feels quite limited compared to other modern BI tools. Additionally, the sudden shift from an all-you-can-eat model to the credit consumption model has been disruptive. The lack of a gradual transition has significantly impacted how our team experiments, iterates, and develops in Domo, fundamentally changing our workflow and discouraging exploration.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo solves the problem of centralizing data from multiple systems and enabling analysts to transform and present that data within a single platform. It allows my team to build and maintain data pipelines using Magic ETLs, connect to key sources like Salesforce and Eloqua, and deliver dashboards that make insights accessible to stakeholders.

  ### 18. Domo Makes Data Easy to Manage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve H. | Director of Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Domo?**

Domo makes data easy. It has opened up the ability for me to dive into the data without knowing code.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

For some of my staff, it was hard to get started and they eventually quit. It was easier to go back to what they were use to. But I have been able to get over the barrier of entry and have been able to expose more in the ministry to data and became the go to guy for data.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo allows me to get the data that should have been able to be given by my CRM. I now have the power in my hands to get what I need and answer the questions of the ministry

  ### 19. Robust Features, Needs More Visualization Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parker L.

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like the breadth of Domo's features and their cohesiveness, yet simplicity. It's amazing that entry-level marketing analysts and data scientists can all work in the same tool. Magic ETL is huge for us as it allows us to simply transform data in the ways we need for reporting. I appreciate that workflows are becoming a more important component, enabling us to automate tasks and take more control of our instance. Once we had access to Domo, I found it really easy to get data in and start building things.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I would like more flexibility out of the box with visualization. The ability to size cards to any size and place cards anywhere without having to follow locking grid patterns.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo helps us access data quickly and adapt in a changing landscape. It combines feature breadth, simplicity, and caters to various expertise levels. Magic ETL simplifies data transformation, and workflows automate tasks, enhancing our control.

  ### 20. The one to beat!!!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bharath R. | Principal Analytics Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Domo?**

We have been using Domo for about 6 years now. The best thing about Domo are the connectors. You can pretty much connect to all major data systems.

Also there were several major updates done to the product to make it more powerful and make it much easier to build reports.

The new App Studio makes it easier to build good looking and customizable dashboards.

Worksheets, Fixed Input Tile, Split joins in ETL and other new features introduced in 2025 has been extremely beneficial in easing the pain points for ETL and report creation/implementation.

The customer support is also very prompt in responding.

Over the years Domo has been constantly upgrading the product and adding more and more features both to their ETL tool and the report builder (Analyzer). This has truly made Domo a leader when it comes to BI tools. The DomoAI is also constantly improving and is going to be a force to reckon with in the coming years.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

The pivot chart still needs a lot of work as its not very flexible in its current state.

Domo needs provide some kind of a show/hide columns dynamically on the table charts.

We also need to be able to set dynamic column names based on filters/variable values selected.

The new consumption model is very confusing. They should just streamline it and make it customer friendly. Legacy vs new is also very unclear. As there is no way to know upfront about how much credits a particular implementation will incur. This could result in customers overshooting their budgets. The old model was way better.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo is helping us analyze performance of our site and also monitor and analyze various features we have introduced. It makes it easier to connect and combine data from different data sources.

  ### 21. Streamlined Data Insights with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandria K.

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like how Domo allows for quick, automated, real-time data access that everyone can see and work on together, ensuring we're all on the same page for optimizing our marketing. It's easy for those without data backgrounds to understand how to build and use data. The data I can get and use is really limitless with Domo, and I can put all my data together to get a complete picture from both the technical and business sides. Domo is much easier for non-data specific users and offers better real-time data compared to what we used before. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

Sometimes Domo has bugs. I want my documentation from one column to follow through all of the ETLs with that column. I want better visibility into my cloud connections and ensuring things are running correctly from Domo. I want sandbox and dev to talk better to each other. I want the run times to be automatically synced between instances and I want better governance between my instances directly from Domo rather than having to create them myself.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo allows for quick, automated, real-time data sharing, helping my team stay on the same page. I connect to various datasets, creating dataflows and dashboards to evaluate marketing and accounts effectively.

  ### 22. Always improving & extending their toolkit!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allison Lorraine S. | Marketing Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Domo?**

The platform makes it easy to create and duplicate content, which I find very convenient. The wide range of connectors simplifies the process of linking data sources. I also appreciate the available AI tools and training resources, which are quite helpful. Ultimately, it is great to see that they are consistently enhancing and expanding their toolkit.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

The introduction of new features, or changes to existing ones, is often not communicated clearly, which can occasionally result in dataflows or cards breaking. Additionally, the training resources are sometimes outdated, making the training process slower and more confusing.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo simplifies the process of unifying and merging our data from multiple sources, which supports more sustainable cross-analysis. The ability to automate report delivery, along with the new option to create agentic workflows that summarize insights, has enhanced both the transparency and the practical use of our data resources. This, in turn, is helping to drive a more data-driven strategy and foster greater cross-collaboration throughout the company.

  ### 23. Challenges in Flexibility and Security with Domo

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like that there was a vendor involved that made the learning curve issues approachable.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I'm concerned about the security aspect since Domo uses a different data store, not like our AWS S3 buckets, which adds worries about pushing sensitive data and requires additional security reviews and monitoring. We don't have the expertise to work with Domo on our own, which means more money and time to partner with external teams, and involves vetting them for ongoing security and work. The initial setup was not that simple, even with partner help, as the internal team was not fully on board, causing friction and taking them away from regular work. We weren't able to show enough value with Domo to move forward, and there's a sense that other tools could solve the problems differently, particularly in the engineering division.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo helps us combine data from different sources to create dashboards and charts that are not standard, even when data is not in the Data Warehouse.

  ### 24. Intuitive UI, Effortless Data Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like the intuitive UI of Domo because all of the features appear where you'd expect them to be. It's very well-designed software with a simple setup for bringing all of your data. The connectors, particularly the Snowflake connector, are well-designed. I also really enjoy being able to use the SQL tile and query our Snowflake instance directly from Magic ETL. The initial setup of Domo was very easy, and I'm happy that I can access our data from our Centralized Data Platform (Snowflake).

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

The Mobile experience from the Mobile App. My data often doesn't display in the App. The issue that displays is 'Preview Unavailable'.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Domo to present data to stakeholders and create new data features. It solves accessing our data from Snowflake, simplifying our data integration with its Snowflake connector and SQL tile in Magic ETL.

  ### 25. Streamlined Reporting with Robust AI, Yet Room for Feature Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I love using Domo for managing reporting for our business. It helps with broad insights sharing, data centralization, and it has amazing AI capabilities. The Cloud amplifier feature makes it faster for us to get data into Domo, the AI function lets us chat with our data, and workflows allow us to set up automations effortlessly. Plus, the initial setup of Domo was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

Sometimes it feels like features are released half baked. A specific example would be semantic models.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo helps with broad insights sharing, data centralization, and AI capabilities. It speeds up data integration with its cloud amplifier, allows chatting with data using AI, and automates workflows.

  ### 26. DOMO provides an excellent platform for a range of uses by experienced and novice analysts.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary F. | Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Domo?**

The best part of DOMO is the ability to manipulate data, visualize, and story-board it all within one platform. A close second is the routine improvements that the DOMO team pushes showing the platform is growing to accommodate more business needs. My favorite singular feature is DOMO Apps. I became proficient in AppSheet before learning about DOMO, and I realized that no-code is the direction for most platforms. Having a BI system combined with an in-platform app builder has been a sublime experience.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

There aren't many things that DOMO misses when it comes to the minutiae, but a few big items seem to have left their radar. One is the organization of content within DOMO. The breakaway from typical folder subfolders for saved card content doesn't quite jive with navigational heuristics we have all come to use with new software. Two, the ability to create dev versions or deployed versions of cards means our internal team must keep some of them locked down. A small missing feature that goes along with both of these is the inability to create display vs internal development names for cards or data sources (though for datasources, I understand DOMO wants to use the Views feature). These improvements would make me like DOMO all the more.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DOMO is helping us join siloed data and create insights from a collection of years of business information that was once locked down in our ERP. Before, it would take months to generate a report with zero ability to answer ad hoc questions without significant, time-consuming hours. Now, we can answer questions that drive our business with very little fear of having to remake or rework reports since we can integrate those controls in the dashboards and apps.

  ### 27. One-stop Data Hub for Nonprofit KPI's

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tawna F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like how Domo is a one stop place for all our data - where it can all be connected - and it's been easy enough that people who are nontechnical, such as our team, have been able to work with some people at Domo and still create really useful info for our organization.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

That initial little bit of learning curve does take some time, so people need to invest in that.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo provides a focal point for all our data, making it easily accessible and understandable for our teams across different locations, which boosts our data-driven decision-making processes.

  ### 28. Domo from a Transitioning Career Perspective

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

Great environment as someone switching careers from design into a data-centric position. I've learned so much about data wrangling, data transformation, and really been able to enhance my design skills through the data visualization tools available.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

Transitioning our non-profit instance into a consumption-based model has been a bit rough. Conversations with staff have flip-flopped across several different people and it's a bit anxiety-inducing as our current contract is coming up. We don't have large staff so as much as I like using the product, this potential transition is scary, especially if we can't renew our contract as a result of increased cost.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a great way to join data from multiple platforms, big and small. We're able to reconcile data between platforms, visualize data, and have real time updates for our users.

  ### 29. Versatile product with vast potential to be and remain one of the best BI tools.

I have used the AI related features available in it as of today and I wasn't impressed when compared to the competition available in the market today. It needs to get better and get better fast in order to remain competitive.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Operational reporting.

I like that Domo is intuitive and easy to use. The interface is quite simple, which makes it easier to quickly pull the metrics I need and understand how those numbers could be impacting metrics and numbers elsewhere. This helps me to write a story about what's happening within our users' experience on our platform.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I always think Domo could have a better visual experience. It is simplistic, which is great, but it's also simplistic in a way that feels outdated.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo allows us to have more visibility into unique data points and metrics, helping us dive into client interactions with our software. It simplifies data understanding and lets me quickly pull necessary metrics, enabling me to analyze user experiences and impact.

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I love using Domo for its functionality that allows me to perform complex data transformations without needing to write long queries, which significantly simplifies my workflow. The data visualization tools are remarkable, as they enable me to deliver cleanly displayed data to business leaders, enhancing the effectiveness of my presentations. The MagicETL and DataFlows features are particularly valuable, as they automate my transformed datasets, thus saving me a lot of time and effort. The use of tiles instead of lines of code is a brilliant feature, as it makes managing tasks much more manageable and less overwhelming. Additionally, I find learning the Admin components of Domo quite easy, which suggests a user-friendly interface. These aspects collectively contribute to my positive experience with Domo.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I find the Analyzer tool limited, lacking in options and functionality that I need.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Domo to perform complex data transformations without writing long queries, and its data visualization tools help me present clean data to business leaders. The MagicETL/DataFlows automate my datasets, saving time and making data management easier.

  ### 33. Powerful Features, Less advanced Visualizations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zac P.

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I really like Domo a lot and find its user interface to be incredibly friendly and easy to use, while still offering advanced features that other tools might not have. Compared to other visualization and transformation tools I've used, such as Power BI and Tableau, Domo stands out. I am especially impressed with the ability to use Python, R, and Jupyter Notebooks. Domo supports advanced users with an impressive list of features, yet it remains simple enough for beginners, making it a versatile tool for any skill level. Additionally, the automation capabilities Domo provides in managing tasks like PDP creation, unsharing, sharing, and data archiving are commendable, allowing a small admin team to efficiently manage the system. The setup for new users can be easily automated as well, making Domo straightforward and easy to manage once it's operational.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

The one aspect of Domo that I find could use improvement is the out-of-the-box visualizations. While they are good, they tend to be a bit basic in terms of their default configurations. Unlike Power BI, which offers highly customizable visualizations, Domo's default options don't always allow for fine-tuning to the extent I desire. Although creating custom visualizations is possible, it often requires coding, which demands time and effort I'm reluctant to spend. Additionally, I wish there was more robust security around app pages in Domo. This feature is relatively new in Domo, and while I expect it to improve over time, currently it lacks some security measures I'd prefer.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Domo to create dashboards and resolve data discrepancies. It helps search for PII and automate data masking, enhancing data accuracy before impacting downstream teams.

  ### 34. Quick Reports with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Belen G. | Sr Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like how easy Domo is to use and that it is compatible with SQL syntax, which makes it easy to create Beast Modes and custom calculations. Setting up Domo was very simple, and it helps me create quick ad-hoc reports that would otherwise take me hours to do in Excel, allowing quick sharing with stakeholders. I appreciate using the Domo API call to export to Power Query, enhancing my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

It has poor window functions and it's not very flexible when it comes to how I want to display custom formulas.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Domo to create data transparency and quickly generate ad-hoc reports that would otherwise take hours in Excel, making it easier to share with stakeholders.

  ### 35. Empowers with AI, Needs Stability Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I appreciate Domo for its pre-built connectors which allow me to be agile in bringing in data the same day. I also find the AI capabilities valuable as they enable me to create personalized automated summaries.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I think Domo can be glitchy and that needs to be fixed. Creating cards in apps is a lot trickier than it was prior. We are on the Domo beta and the updates are causing me when I edit in analyzer to open a new tab and I do not like that.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo solved integration issues for me. The pre-built connectors allow me to be agile in bringing in data the same day, and AI capabilities enable me to create personalized automated summaries.

  ### 36. Flexible Visualizations and Anytime Data Access

**Reviewed by:** Mitzi P. | Director Of Legal Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

It lets me be out of the office while still keeping the data available. The biggest upside is that I can create the visualizations that best suit our team and how we work.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

The least helpful part is really the price. I’m stressed trying to make sure we’re getting the best bang for our buck.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo solves issues with data availability and data clarity. This has helped me work more efficiently, kept our team better informed, and allowed our operations to run more smoothly.

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I find Domo very user-friendly, which makes it easy to use, especially for nontechnical users. It's pretty easy to share dashboards across teams, which adds a lot of value. I like the filters and the controls that are available.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

There are a lot of little bugs, especially in the ETL process. It doesn't process large datasets that well. The initial setup was a bit hard because it required a lot of data to be introduced and the ETL process was not that straightforward.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo concentrates all my data into one central place, enabling data creation and visualizations. It's very user-friendly and easy to share dashboards across teams, and it works well for nontechnical users.

  ### 38. Intuitive UI with Powerful ETL Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I find that using Domo has been immensely beneficial for my work in business intelligence, ETL, and data visualization. Over the 5.5 years, I've particularly loved how easy and straightforward it is to set up, thanks to its user-friendly and visually appealing interface. I appreciate Domo's simplicity in navigating through its functions, which significantly boosts our ability to gain business insights. A standout feature for me is the wide array of pre-built data connectors, which allow seamless integration of various systems like Workday, Salesforce, and Qualtrics. Moreover, Magic ETL is exceptional in its versatility, catering to both technically inclined users and those less familiar with coding. It’s fantastic to have the option to code in SQL and Python or to use intuitive drag-and-drop tiles with prebuilt functions. The robust functionality of Domo, acting as an all-in-one platform, facilitates bringing multiple business systems together, cleansing them, and creating impactful visualizations, all with an intuitive process and powerful data connectors. This all-encompassing capability makes Domo incredibly valuable, and its solid pre-built connectors effortlessly handle data integration tasks. These features collectively make Domo indispensable for me and our team’s data understanding and processing needs.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I dislike that Domo lacks advanced lineage tools. This makes it difficult to understand downstream dependencies on changes to fields or logic, unlike other platforms such as dbt or BigQuery, which offer more robust solutions in this area.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Domo to integrate data from various systems easily, visualize it, and improve business data understanding with its intuitive UI and Magic ETL features.

  ### 39. Love Domo!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julianna R. | Director, Data Solutions, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2017

**What do you like best about Domo?**

It's fairly easy to use and gain adoption of from non analysts. Domo has invested a lot into the development of their ETL data manipulation interface. It is very intuitive and easy to use with options for beginners, users with very little data manipulation knowledge all the way up to advanced users who write Python, R, SQL.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

Challenges with fiscal calendar functionality. We've also been slow to embrace App Studio because of the limitations with exporting the dashboards as a PDF and creating multiple templates for each of our brands.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We leverage Domo to combine social media data from all of the various social platforms for wholistic reporting of our social posts. We also leverage Domo to combine internal and external data .

  ### 40. Domo Ease of Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rikki T. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Domo?**

Domo is my first data visualization tool that I have used in my career as a business analyst. The modules in Domo University made it faster to learn, and easier to adjust to.

Domo is a tool that I believe anyone could learn. Creating cards and dashboards is a breeze. It is also easy for internal users to navigate and to filter cards for information that they are looking for. I love how easy it is to export information into different formats like excel or powerpoint.

The Domo Forums feauture is also very helpful when looking to learn how to do BeastModes for different use cases.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

The only thing that I have found I dislike when it comes to Domo is when you are writing a BeastMode, you are unable to select the Measure or Dimension from the dropdown list on the left side. I feel this would be easier at times than typing it out and looking for it on the on-screen list.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo is making it easier for users to visualize data with the large array of options there are in place for cards. The AI feature is something that our company is very excited to utilize in the future!

  ### 41. Effortless Reporting with Stellar Collaboration

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo enables me to bring data together and collaborate. It's easy for new users and simplifies ETL processes, making it easy to connect to common data sources.

  ### 42. User-Friendly BI Tool with Potential Credit Constraints

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah H.

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I appreciate Domo's ability to provide insights on our sales performance, which helps our leaders in making informed decisions. The support structure and ETL abilities of Domo were key in our decision to choose it over other BI tools. I value how straightforward and user-friendly the integration methods are, which made the setup process smooth and efficient. Domo provides excellent alignment across the business with our KPIs and functions as a self-serving BI tool. I find the drag-and-drop feature incredibly beneficial, as it simplifies tasks considerably. The Campaign Builder is especially useful for sending reports via email, automating the process, thereby saving our analysts the time otherwise spent on exporting, processing, and sending out data. The native integration with BigQuery enhances the workflow seamlessly. The Magic ETL is an extremely valuable feature of Domo which makes data transformations much easier.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I dislike how quickly the credit availability is consumed. This is particularly challenging because it limits our ability to test within Domo without impacting production resources, especially in the first few years when we're still ironing out our processes.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo aligns our business on KPIs and is self-serving. Its drag-and-drop and ETL features simplify our processes, while campaign builder automation saves analysts time from manual reporting tasks.

  ### 43. Insightful Panels and Exciting Updates, But Event Space Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like the panel with the guests from Live Nation and Bentley Labs - it was a great way to understand how other organizations that are not related to healthcare use DOMO.
I also loved the new updates coming up in DOMO, such the Creating a Table feature, this way we don't have to be exporting data to Excel.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

The only thing I would say that we need more space - or for the overload room to also display the presentation and for the audio to be able to be heard, since it was a little crowded and almost not enough seats for everybody.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use DOMO at our facility to keep track of staff productivity and to get quick, clear insights into how our programs are doing. It helps us pull numbers easily and see what’s working across different areas. The dashboards are easy to use, and having everything in one place makes it simple to stay on top of things. It’s been a really helpful tool for staying organized and making data-driven decisions.

  ### 44. DOMO has been a great tool for NAP to aggregate data in many different systems!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew w. | Accounting Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like that DOMO is extremely user friendly and easy to use. Without DOMO, our 5+ systems have no way of "talking" and creating meaningful dashboards. DOMO aggregates all the data (often times with pre-built connections) and turns all of our data into insightful visual graphics that are utilized to make important decisions within our company. In addition, DOMO became a solution for a universal spot to house all of our company's treasury info when Excel just wasn't cutting it. Treasury solutions such as Gtreasury and Kyriba were quoted to us in the 10's of $1,000s of dollars. This is not something that we have in the budget. The next best thing was creating a one stop shop in DOMO and it has been a game changer as it has accurately shown us fees over time, account features, and account information. I always refer to DOMO as Power BI on steroids :)

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

DOMO is a great product and I don't have much to say negatively about it! I think sometimes it can be a little difficult to understand how to create dashboards and get data to display the way you want it to. However, once you get the hang of it things are actually pretty user friendly.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DOMO has solved two big problems for us. 1.) In the real estate industry we are required to use many different ERP systems. As a result visibility across platforms can be a challenge. DOMO does an excellent job of aggregating all of this data in one spot and then we are able to do apples to apples comparisons of different properties across the portfolio.
2.) Treasury management is another challenge in the real estate industry. We are often times required to use different banking partners based on debt. As a result we begin compiling quite a collection of different banking partners. We have over 100 accounts in approximately 10 banks. It becomes hard to keep track of everything. We looked into treasury management solutions and the cost didn't make sense to us. DOMO was the perfect solution to aggregate all of our data and detail signer info, account features, and many other data points all in one spot.

  ### 45. Versatile Platform with Powerful Features, But Visualization Flexibility Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I really appreciate the overall functionality of DOMO. I don't see it as just another ETL or visualization tool; it offers much more. There are extensive possibilities for creating forms, building apps, and automating workflows, which makes it a versatile platform.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

Some of the visualization properties could use improvement, particularly in terms of allowing more flexibility for creating custom charts. Additionally, the WINDOWS functions do not seem to work as expected within the SQL tile.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DOMO serves as a comprehensive tool that brings together data from various platforms, streamlining everything into a unified view. This makes it easier to identify trends and patterns, especially with features like Beast Mode. Now that I have learned about Workflows, I am definitely planning to use them to automate many of our processes. Additionally, the integration of LLM capabilities would be a significant advantage, further simplifying much of our analysis.

  ### 46. Easy-to-Use with Some Permission Challenges

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like Domo because it's easy to use, and I find the Magic ETL particularly valuable in simplifying my data tasks.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

I don't like the permissions settings, which seem to be problematic. Also, the initial setup was hard due to bad data.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Domo for data aggregation, which helps solve the problem of bad data. It's easy to use with features like Magic ETL, making data handling more manageable.

  ### 47. Domo Excels at Data Centralization and Visualization, Constantly Improving User Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** CJ N. | Business Intelligence Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Domo?**

Domo makes it extremely easy to centralize your data. Then it doubles dow to make it easy to visualize and tell the story of the data. Domo continues to push the bar higher and higher by continually communicating with their customers and innovating based on that communication.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

A lot of the dislikes get fixed. Such as the number of clicks to work inside of app studios is being reduced dramatically soon with the new beta update.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Domo allows us to easily embed into our platform for our clients to use. Making it easy to update and fix bugs inside of Domo that immediately reflect to our clients.

  ### 48. Easy Onboarding but Outdated Features

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa S. | Junior Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like that Domo is pretty easy to get familiar with. This ease of use makes onboarding smoother and helps in making processes easier to flush out.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

It's outdated, ETL doesn't have as many features as a data warehouse would, SQL capabilities are limited.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Domo for data management and cleaning our data. It's pretty easy to get familiar with, which makes onboarding easier and streamlines processes.

  ### 49. Steep Learning Curve, Needs Engineer Support

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jameson O.

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Domo?**

I like that Domo makes the data easy to read once set up. The layout seems to be the easiest part to handle.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

For the non-computer engineer, Domo is a difficult hill to climb. I'm not super tech savvy and feel like we need to have an engineer on staff to make the most of the platform. **What do you like best about Domo?**

I really like how Magic ETL in Domo makes coding so much easier for me. It saves me time when cleaning data and is great for joining datasets. These features make data visualization and preparing data for work a lot smoother.

**What do you dislike about Domo?**

The forms feature doesn’t work for me and I have a ticket with engineering open. Haven’t heard back in almost a month though.

**What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Domo for data visualizations and cleaning. It helps track tasks and present results to non-technical leadership. Magic ETL makes coding easier and saves me time when cleaning and joining datasets.
