## ChartHop Reviews
  ### 1. Great for People Analytics, but ATS integrations and HR Ops templates need work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosario T. | Sr. People Ops & Analytics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

It is the perfect tool for People Analytics and very customized processes and data fields for whatever you may need. It is pretty easy to use and collab with. The support team has always solved my issues whenever I raised them. I use it basically every day of the week.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

I wish it would have stronger integrations with other tools - In my case my ATS - Ashby. It only brings a few fields and it doesn't respect the approval workflow made for Openings in Ashby. Also, it is not bi-directional, so the only way of making it work is from Charthop >> Ashby, instead of Ashby >> and then pre-drafting the new open position in Charthop to keep the org chart udpated. Also, I wish it would provide more suggested templates for HR Ops like other HRIS do.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me keep my People data centralized and allows employees to track everything in one place.

  ### 2. Customizable, User-Friendly HRIS with Supportive Team

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosario T. | People Team Lead, Investment Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I use ChartHop as an HRIS for internal processes within HR scopes and tasks. It centralizes my data, and it's very customizable and easy to tailor-make processes according to my company's preferences. The UX and UI are very nice and easy to navigate. I also find the support team always ready to help, and the performance of the platform works well, as I've never had major technical issues that couldn't be solved within a few hours. The implementation management team was also very helpful during the setup.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Some integrations don't work as well as expected or are just unidirectional. I also wish there could be more bundles or pre-created templates for HR-related things. Additionally, it would be great if e-signature documents could happen within the platform, allowing onboarding and other processes to fully exist within ChartHop's ecosystem and database.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ChartHop centralizes my data and is customizable, making it easy to tailor processes to my company's needs.

  ### 3. Essential for Navigating Team Structures

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I love the org chart feature in ChartHop because it shows where team members sit within the organization in an easy-to-digest way. I also enjoy the profile section where I can learn a bit about my colleagues. It's easy to navigate and to learn about the organization. The setup and maintenance of ChartHop have been pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Honestly I don't really use a lot of the tabs other than profile and org chart so I think showcasing all the other things it has to offer would be beneficial for the end user. For example, the dashboard feature sounds intriguing but I am not really sure how to use it.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ChartHop to track employee changes and utilize the org chart for easy navigation. It solves the issue of people not knowing where to go for answers.

  ### 4. ChartHop Makes 1:1s More Meaningful with Transparent, Real-Time Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

As a sales rep, I genuinely love using ChartHop, especially for 1:1 engagement, because it adds a level of transparency and insight that I don’t get with most HR tools. Everything lives in one place, so I can view performance, goals, feedback, and engagement data as a connected picture. That makes my 1:1 conversations more meaningful and grounded in real information, rather than assumptions.

The real-time dashboards and data visualizations also make it easier to understand what’s actually happening across the team, instead of relying on guesswork or jumping between scattered tools. I also appreciate how it supports continuous feedback and ongoing development. It’s not just a once-a-quarter check-in; it helps me stay aligned with my manager and track progress over time.

Overall, ChartHop makes communication smoother, keeps things transparent, and helps me feel more in control of my growth and performance.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

There is nothing that I dislike about ChartHop; it works seamlessly

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ChartHop addresses a major challenge with scattered, hard-to-access people data by bringing everything—performance, goals, compensation, and org structure into one centralized platform. Rather than digging through spreadsheets or bouncing between multiple tools, I can get a clear, real-time view of what’s happening across the company, which makes 1:1s and performance conversations much more productive. It also reduces confusion around reporting lines and team structure, so I always know who to go to and how the organization fits together.

For me, the biggest benefit is the transparency and clarity. It’s easier to stay aligned with my manager, track progress, and have more meaningful conversations without guesswork. Overall, it saves time, reduces friction, and helps me focus on actually performing instead of chasing down information.

  ### 5. Intuitive Org Chart Tool with Seamless Slack Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I really appreciate ChartHop's interface because it is incredibly easy to use and understand, making my workflow much simpler. The integration with Slack is another feature I love since it ensures that anything I need to fill in or complete is directly sent to my Slack. This way, I am certain not to miss any important tasks, keeping my work organized and efficient. The ease of logging into ChartHop, facilitated by the employee success team, was straightforward for me, requiring no effort on my part for the initial setup. Additionally, ChartHop significantly improves my ability to navigate our complex organization by understanding the organizational chart, which helps me identify the right contacts for various tasks. These features collectively enhance my quality of life and usability within the platform, ensuring that critical tasks don't fall to the bottom of my to-do list.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

No problems so far!

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ChartHop to navigate our complex organization, understanding roles and line reports efficiently. It helps me know whom to contact for specific tasks, and collect critical information. The Slack integration ensures I don't miss updates, enhancing productivity.

  ### 6. Clear Org Visibility and Powerful Scenario Planning in ChartHop

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I like how much better the planning and scenario tools have gotten. It’s easier to model changes without touching real data, and the visuals are clearer, so it’s actually usable in conversations with leadership instead of just being an ops tool.

The product also feels more polished overall org charts load faster, filtering is smoother, and sharing views with the right level of access is less painful than it used to be.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

It could be simpler in day-to-day use. There’s a lot of power there, but some workflows still feel heavier than they need to be, especially for managers who just want quick answers.

Data upkeep is another area. If integrations drift or fields aren’t perfectly mapped, things break quietly and someone has to notice. Better guardrails or alerts around data quality would help a lot.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves visibility and alignment problems as the org grows.

ChartHop gives a single, trusted view of headcount, reporting lines, and planned changes, instead of fragmented spreadsheets and outdated decks. That makes it much easier to answer basic org questions and to plan things like reorgs or hiring without guesswork.

The benefit is speed and clarity fewer surprises, fewer side conversations, and faster decisions because everyone’s looking at the same source of truth.

  ### 7. Seamless Organizational Insights with ChartHop

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I find ChartHop to be an incredibly good tool, especially for tracking information within my organization. It excels in helping me understand who people are in different teams and allows me to easily get in touch with their managers or gather other essential information about them. I particularly appreciate its capabilities for working with organizational charts and facilitating applications for sabbatical leaves. ChartHop plays a significant role in my pay parity and compensation discussions with my manager, making it a great and super helpful tool. The platform's visuals are impressive—the dashboards, sheets, and information are all beautifully visualized, enhancing my overall experience. Moreover, its user interface is incredibly seamless, making it easy to use, and it effectively assists me in identifying stakeholders within the organization without unnecessary hassle. The ability to get specific feedback from my manager through the tool is another aspect I am fond of.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

nothing I can think of. Have had a good experience

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ChartHop to track organizational information, know colleagues, and manage pay discussions effortlessly. Its visual and easy-to-use platform aids in cross-functional collaboration, progress tracking, and sabbatical leave applications.

  ### 8. Top-Notch UI, Excellent for Headcount Planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara D.

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

The UI is the best I've seen for any type of HR tool. I love that the data sheet is basically a Google Sheet but in a great customizable format. The dashboards are easy to create and use as well.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

The integration between ChartHop and our HRIS could be improved. We are not able to customize some of the fields we want to and have had to find other avenues to integrate. The standard fields in ChartHop don't always match our HRIS and ChartHop doesn't allow for customization of those fields, so we have to default to custom fields which is confusing since the standard out-of-the-box fields are still available.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ChartHop for managing and approving headcount requests and overall headcount budget.

  ### 9. Great Historical Org Structure View in ChartHop

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

Historical view of org structure is really cool

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

there is some delays for the org chart in ChartHop compared to the ground truth.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

no specifically

  ### 10. Clear Department View Makes Company Structure Easy to Understand

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I'm able to see how my company is organized by departments and know who works at my company.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

The spacing on the platform, some names are cut-off and I would like to be able to zoom to all of the information.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not familiar with any changes at this time. My company communicates well to communicate with their employees.

  ### 11. Great UX and easy access to org-wide data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel L. | Data Product Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I really like the interface and overall user experience. It’s very easy to find what I need, the sections are well organized, and the navigation feels intuitive. It provides an excellent user experience, with all the relevant data about myself, my direct reports, and the organization as a whole in one place.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Occasionally I’ve experienced some site instability, but these cases were very rare. Beyond that, I don’t have any significant dislikes.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Charthop helps me a lot by centralizing all the information about my direct reports, performance reviews, historical analysis, manager transitions. All of these aspects related to managing my team are handled with excellence by Charthop, and it makes it very easy to keep track of everything that’s going on.

  ### 12. ChartHop makes it easy to put our data to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole G. | Human Resources Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

ChartHop gives us the access we need to put our data to use in the way we need to! It also makes it so easy to search and split our org chart for the org views we need.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

If anything, there's too much to ChartHop - though you can easily manage the security around your data however you need to, all of the fields not hidden in the platform are available to all users to select when trying to search or filter, regardless of security settings will actually allow those fields to be put to use.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ChartHop allowed us to take Compensation Planning out of Excel and into a secure environment where we could monitor progress and automatically have all different groups in the same view as admins - no more need to turn one spreadsheet into 10 and then back to one once everyone is done!

The dashboards allow us to have real-time access to key data points, with the available filters giving us the ability to see the different groups' data that we are looking for without having to pull 10 different versions of the same report - this will save me at least 8 hours/month!

Headcount Planning gives us the ability to visualize the changes looking to be made, along with the power to validate the outcome of the changes we made against their intention. No more second guessing that all the data points were updated correctly with no easy way to validate!

Lastly - the org chart in and of itself is powerful. We used to have to play with screenshots, back-tracking, or manual digging in an org chart to get to the views we wanted. Now everyone in the org has easy access to the org chart and the ability to search not only for individual people, but for different departments, locations, teams, titles, and more! We can also easily export the org chart showing different departments and their reporting chain up to the top of the org - something our COO's been asking for for years!

  ### 13. Powerful HR tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bobby P. | Head of Learning and Development, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I love how powerful ChartHop's data sheet functionality is. It's quick and easy to pull up a spreadsheet view of all of our employees and add various data points like each person's manager, email, location, role, etc., then export that information to Excel.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Admin permissions are sometimes confusing within the platform. For instance, I have permission to change a data point on the Data Sheet view, but I don't have permission to change that same data point on an employee's personal profile. That makes zero sense to me.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us visually plan our upcoming headcount and where those employees will reside in the organization.

  ### 14. It's amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nariman O. | Operations Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

What I like best about ChartHop is its ability to bring together people data in a way that is both intuitive and actionable. Traditionally, HR and organizational data have been siloed across multiple platforms, spreadsheets, HRIS systems, performance management tools, etc. Which makes it difficult to get a clear, real-time view of an organization. ChartHop solves this problem by creating a centralized, visual platform where everything from headcount planning and compensation analysis to DEI reporting and organizational design is accessible and transparent.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Nothing .

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ChartHop solves the problem of scattered, outdated, and hard-to-access people data by centralizing everything in one dynamic, visual platform. This helps me make faster, data-driven decisions around org planning, headcount, and compensation, while improving transparency and collaboration across teams.

  ### 15. Very efficient solution, excellent support team : the great combo

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sylvain B. | IT Digital Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2021

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

Ambitious roadmap showing "long-term" vision, which is very appreciable when we (as a client) invest in tech service for HR.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

The app catalogue (integrated partners) within Charthop could be more inspiring, by showcasing use cases and value in more details.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We started with corporate Org Chart visualization (because this feature was not available in our core HR system) : We embedded chart in our Intranet, we integrated RSS feeds, etc...
Then we benefited from Charthop to sync employee data to all our IT environment : Now Charthop is a key piece within our whole landscape, not just the cherry on the cake.

  ### 16. Insightful Overview of Company Structure and Personal Progress

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I get to know a lot of the organisation , the charts, the departments and about the people working. I also get to know about my company journey in terms of compensation and personal details.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Sometimes its a little difficult to navigate.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving information about the organisation structure and personal work history.

  ### 17. Easy Navigation and Data Retrieval, Minor Filter Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I love how easy ChartHop is to use and search, whether I'm looking for specific data, individuals, or departments. It makes exploring the org chart straightforward. As a project leader, ChartHop enables me to quickly identify key stakeholders and retrieve important data like employee emails and department information used in internal analysis.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Adding and removing filters in the data sheet feature is a little bit clunky at times.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ChartHop helps me identify key stakeholders and pull data for internal analysis, streamlining project leadership, and organization exploration.

  ### 18. One stop shop for all HR solutions!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

The easy access and display of personal data! A fan of the Org chart! It helps me map people to their peers, and this is useful as we are an org that is spread out internationally!

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Nothing in particular! I guess the implementation in my region is not as compared to the US! We have to rely on another tool for Payroll.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The org chart and map specifically help out a lot! We are a team that is spread out internationally and have different timezones, the map helps us organise accordingly. The org chart helps s map down colleagues to their teammates and managers providing good insight into team structures
It helps me get a good idea about my equity in the org and it's growth along with value! Another solid feature!

  ### 19. Good app, easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Di W. | Marketing manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

easy to navigate to the place I want to check

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

the org will become big or small when I move my mouth, which I am not intent to do

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

showing the right org in my company

  ### 20. Dashboards and Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

It is very easy to create quick reports and effective dashboard visualizations. User interface is intuitive and clean. Customer support is incredible if you run into any issues.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

It can be buggy, but the customer support is so quick and helpful it rarely causes work delays.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dashboard visualizations are easy to build and share with leaders.

  ### 21. Super Easy and Simple Org Charts!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2021

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

Still the best place to go to see your org chart. Now I use it for integrations into other HR tools as well.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

UI is a bit better but still room to improve.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it easy to navigate an entirely remote organization of 500 people. Find out who lives near you, who people work for, find out how to get a hold of people, and what people are responsible for.

  ### 22. Finally an Agile People Software Tool that Scales with your Organization!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Desiree T. | Head of PeopleOps, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2024

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

ChartHop is an agile solution that can help bring your strategy to life. I’ve used ChartHop at three prior companies, and I love that I can come up with a People Strategy that is creative and I can leverage ChartHop to bring that strategy to life. The tool has allowed me to take those creative ideas and implement them into actionable people processes. ChartHops apporach aligns with my strategy. It is a really creative platform. If you have a particular way of doing things, it can almost always be done with ChartHop.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Nothing comes to mind. Every time we’ve encountered something the ChartHop team has been really responsive to the feedback and helped us get what we need quickly.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re using ChartHop in a lot of ways. We’re using it for our company wiki to keep everything on our policies and processes organized and in one place. We’ve also used it for performance reviews and to find information during a recent compliance audit. I think the org chart is probably what excites our employees most when they first see ChartHop. Going forward, I’d like to use the headcount planning capabilities.

  ### 23. Can't live without ChartHop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily C. | VP, People, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2024

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

ChartHop is absolutely critical to us. It’s a huge time saver and ensures we’re on top of everything. Thanks to ChartHop, we’re not in out-of-control spreadsheets. It’s our source of truth that allows us to be completely accurate. Because of that, we have more time to be proactive and strategic versus constantly reacting to changes happening throughout the company.

What really sets ChartHop apart is the ability to mold it to whatever you want it to be. We can make ChartHop ours by updating surveys however we want, collecting whatever data we want in a variety of ways, and the list goes on. There’s just not another solution out there that can do that.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

There’s a lot you can do with ChartHop out of the box, but if you want to really configure it to specific situations, there’s a learning curve for admins in terms of how to best do that. But once you do it, you can totally flourish with ChartHop and really do anything you want quickly and easily.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use ChartHop across the board for pretty much every aspect of our People team work. We run performance and employee engagement surveys in ChartHop, we use it for new hire onboarding, and we use it for our comp cycle (and I can’t imagine what a headache that would be if it were in spreadsheets).

On top of that, one of the biggest problems ChartHop solves for us is headcount planning. We use ChartHop Scenarios all the time across the People, TA, and Finance teams to plan for changes, see what’s been approved, and then kick off recruitment where needed. It really helps us keep track of the details and helps with cross-team harmony because the alignment is just kind of automatic rather than relying on a human being to remember to communicate every single change.

  ### 24. Strong operational tool that offers lots of customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel B. | VP, People and Culture, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2024

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I like that you use the products in the tool that you need but you don't need to use the whole suite (or pay for it) if you won't get value from it or if you already have other systems supporting the business in that role.

Customer Service is excellent and responsive.

Supports us managing merit cycles across the world in an easy to use way and make a complex process much easier.

Finding ways to automate and simplify processes between existing systems has been a huge win for us. We were also able to consolidate some of other systems as ChartHop got further integrated.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

The upside is the customization. The downside is the customization.

You need someone on your team who is going to understand the technical side of the system and how it works. For executives low on detail, they can get frustrated by the complexity of their own enviornments and the trade offs for giving them 'exactly what they want'. I recommend trying to influence internal teams on making it as simple as possible to operate and use.

Dashboarding and reporting feels like it could be improved somewhat to have pre-built boards that incorporate all their features that make it a little more plug and play for teams starting out with the software.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor H. | Human Resources Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2024

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

We like that ChartHop allows us to customize reporting, dashboards, and actions and houses all of our employee data in an employee-facing system. It has also been a tremendous help that we can conduct our performance and compensation reviews in ChartHop.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

There are system limitations with ChartHop and how it flows/speaks to ADP (our HRIS). This has sometimes created additional work for our team, but the result is always good.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ChartHop has allowed us to:
- Push our data to one place (personal, performance, compensation, equity, etc.) and be able to create any reporting our organization needs

- Give employees full access to their own employment information and learn more about their peers who are distributed throughout the world

  ### 30. Provides a Neat Retrospective of Company

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2023

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

Scanning the chart feature for coworkers to see who is in what organization is really helpful.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

It can be clunky when we do reviews. The system doesn't seem to be well connected for that type of application.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Charthop tracks the growth of our organization and helps us see who is in what area of the business.

  ### 31. best in interface on the org. charts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

Provides real-time graphical org charts and workforce analytics to make it easy to track headcount, reporting relationships and team structures.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

It is overwhelming at first due to number of features and data visualization options, also maybe expensibe for small business or start ups compared to simpler organization chart solutions,

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Updated organization charts automatically and reports reducing HR team manual effort. Stream lines cross-fucntional team structure and employee roles.

  ### 32. Transparent Everything!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeswin J. | Content QA Associate , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2024

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

I am able to see where I stand, and details about my tenure, my pay transparency, my company as a whole, what official documents I have in possession in the Company, my employee ID, and everything that relates to my professional career. I use it to view changes after PDPs, and also get a clear view of what changed in my role.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Nothing as much, the UI is too fluid and easy to navigate.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can see my Compensation, My allowances and all things in such clarity. If there are any discrepancies, it's easier to contact the ES team as well as the Manager to rectify it (although that is a very rare case, close to 0).

  ### 33. Organized Organization tool

There is nothing to dislike except the occasional lag.

  ### 35. Great tool for People Ops, planning and org visibility.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

ChartHop helps us run our business smarter. It brings context to all of our people data for more informed decisions.

With ChartHop, you have the ability to build dashboards, you have scenario planning which is super helpful for org design and M&A, and it's a solution that connects to a lot of other tools for centralized data and insights.

On top of that, the team has done a great job of iterating the platform over time. I’ve implemented ChartHop at two different companies now, and to see how they continue to listen to feedback and make improvements is impressive. We can really trust the ChartHop team. Easy to implement, intuitive, amazing customer support.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

ChartHop offers a variety of modules under the umbrella of a people ops solution, so it’s important to make sure that we can keep everyone focused on our primary use case of headcount planning vs. getting caught up in other features.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ChartHop is very well executed. It’s solving actual problems for companies, and that shows in everything ChartHop does. For us, that problem is position management. We use ChartHop for headcount planning, and the position management capabilities within that are incredible.

  ### 36. Exceptional platform, from the features and support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kiera H. | HR Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2024

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

A great platform, Charthop has enhanced our perfomance management and pay review process, allowing us to have all data in one place and move away from our previous manual process. It's user-friendly features encourages more 1-1 catch-ups within our organision and makes financial planning easy. One of our favourite features is the Org chart which gives a simplistic yet valuable view of our organsation. The customer service we received during implementation and continuous support through bi-weekly catch-ups has been exceptional. A big shout out to Seth, Melissa, Loukas and the rest of the support team for their consistent support and willingless to help us. I cannot reccomend enough!

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Currently the HRIS system is not 100% complete, but we are looking forward to the end product!

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously our organstaion had a very manual process which heavily relied on HR, spreadsheets and forms. ChartHop has allowed us to digitialise this process so everything is in once place and less reliant on manual process.

  ### 37. Charthop has made People Operations so much better.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaime M. | Senior People Operations Analyst , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2024

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

How user friendly the platform is for admins & employees. It gives employees access to People Data that HRIS systems would not allow for, and creates streamlined ways for cross collaboration amoung operational teams and managers.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

As it's an evoling platform, there are some features/enhancments that would improve it, but the Charthop team is very receptive to feedback!

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowed us to get rid of pages of pages of Google sheets to work across with other operational team (like Finance) to to compensation planning, workforce planning, etc! It also provides employees access to information that doesn't exist easily elsewhere (their own employement information, org charts & management lines, new hires, future team members).

  ### 38. ChartHop fills gaps left by other larger HCMS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

Charthops UI is friendly and the org chart and capabliites are pretty amazing.

You can alert on anything that is in Charthop pretty easily making it a perfect compliment to an HRIS for a midsize to large org as the HRIS is not really ready for larger orgs yet

The CSM on our account is literally out of this world and one of a kind. She truly cares and helps bring solutions to our business needs with Charthop and helps us think out of the box. We rolled it out with her project management skills aiding every step and was a great way to ensure we ticked all boxes.

Support team and integrations with CH are next level.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

Charthop bases everythign on a new job being a person or role. This can get tricky considering how to link it from the ATS recruiting process to the HCM process.

Charthop also does not tie things to a job title property since a job is unique. This will make employee changes to certain fields that are job dependant harder.

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scenario planning and forecasting
Alerts
Unidentified feedback

  ### 39. Best tool for people ops

It is the best software for having everything in one place. an organizational and HR tool that provides my information in a dashboard. This provides information on reminders for catch-ups and one on one's. We have been using lattice for a while now and this could be a better switch as we are in the trial run.

It is benefiting me in my performace and org chart.

Easy feed into our HRIS system.
BEAUTIFUL UI that we are excited to share with employees.
Customizability!
Our CSM, Seth, who answers all of our questions!

All data that is pulled into ChartHop must be tied to an active employee account. Therefore, high level organizational metrics cannot be tracked in ChartHop (ie: new hires profiles, eNPS without adding on Engagement features, Board metrics).

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eliminating risk of manual error by streamlining data into one place

  ### 43. The HR Tool You didn't know you needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

At Scout, ChartHop is our primary headcount and performance management tool as we scale. I love that ChartHop blends great functionality with ease of use. ChartHop is not only user-friendly for administrators but also provides useful and easily accessible data for our business leaders and team members.

**What do you like best about ChartHop?**

What I love about the Charthop platform is how it seamlessly integrates data from our various People Ops systems, providing valuable insights across our organization. The platform is user-friendly, and their team is always responsive, helping us with any questions or customizations specific to our needs. We use Charthop daily and recently added Headcount Planning and Greenhouse integration. We're excited to automate more processes and deliver even deeper insights for our leaders.

**What do you dislike about ChartHop?**

I wish Charthop HRIS integrated with more payroll systems and had an onboarding module. It would greatly enhance our user experience by consolidating more information into a single system, rather than having it spread across multiple platforms

**What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their compensation management module enabled us to run our complex merit cycle in a user-friendly system, replacing our previous manual spreadsheet process. The Charthop team provided excellent support, helping us build out a very complex merit cycle. We've recently started exploring the analytics side of Charthop, which is helping us centralize all our people data into one system and gain valuable insights
