What do you like best about 2600Hz?

2600hz is a cloud-scale phone switch allowing them to be resilient against network and data center failures. Pretty good UX for one-off changes. However, they have recently been suffering from server resource issues, causing large numbers of their clients to have intermittent calling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 2600Hz?

The platform is Extremely cumbersome to set up full systems. Lots of glitches that can require significant re-work. Split-brained management between legacy interface and the New interface, where the legacy one works really well for the stuff you can do in it but some stuff can only be done in the new "SmartPBX" (which looks good but is a horrible wast of time to use). Support has been taking longer and longer to respond or providing more and more useless answers until really backed into a corner. And the Stability has been poor for the last while Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 2600Hz solving and how is that benefiting you?

Right now seems like they are causing more problems than solving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 2600Hz?

The architechture is the best part of the 2600hz stack - it is the only product which can scale into different geographic regions and failover without horrible stretched clusters. The choice of erlang whilst it seems tough at the start is pure genius once you get under the hood.

As a global customer we also engage with their support teams which is also really great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 2600Hz?

The call center app is good - but it is lacking in the analytics.

Getting data out of the platform is hard - other than writting an MQ interface it is hard to get data out - it would be great to see an exporting function or an appliance they support (with a kazoo app) that you can configure to point at a database or datawarehouse like snowflake, data bricks etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 2600Hz solving and how is that benefiting you?

2600hz allows us to own the communications lifecycle for the customer at a scale where most technologies would either not cost in or simply could not achieve. Thank you! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 2600Hz?

Easy to get started, very intuitive user interface, zero-touch configuration with Yealink devices

some apps are very powerful while simple looking, nice online community

amazing support for minor issues Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 2600Hz?

Limited to no SMS capabilities

Not reliable (especially call center) we had had issues after every single update so far (and to often major system issues not just the expected bugs)

Support for small minor issues has improved and is great most of the time lately, but for real issues, you are on your own and have to beg for answers or progress to be made (not referring to minor issues, major system issues, but hard to get anyone attention)

And major system issues (and they come up too often), especially after any updates, and response is very slow (you will get check-ins to ensure the ticket has activity... but no action or ETA when you have a real major system issue & custmers waiting for days)

It has now reached a breaking point where we are starting to migrate new clients and no longer can use 2600hz for stable business Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 2600Hz solving and how is that benefiting you?

Voip offering Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
