2600hz is a cloud-scale phone switch allowing them to be resilient against network and data center failures. Pretty good UX for one-off changes. However, they have recently been suffering from server resource issues, causing large numbers of their clients to have intermittent calling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is Extremely cumbersome to set up full systems. Lots of glitches that can require significant re-work. Split-brained management between legacy interface and the New interface, where the legacy one works really well for the stuff you can do in it but some stuff can only be done in the new "SmartPBX" (which looks good but is a horrible wast of time to use). Support has been taking longer and longer to respond or providing more and more useless answers until really backed into a corner. And the Stability has been poor for the last while Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The architechture is the best part of the 2600hz stack - it is the only product which can scale into different geographic regions and failover without horrible stretched clusters. The choice of erlang whilst it seems tough at the start is pure genius once you get under the hood.
As a global customer we also engage with their support teams which is also really great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The call center app is good - but it is lacking in the analytics.
Getting data out of the platform is hard - other than writting an MQ interface it is hard to get data out - it would be great to see an exporting function or an appliance they support (with a kazoo app) that you can configure to point at a database or datawarehouse like snowflake, data bricks etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Services are available and work well most of the time. it may not have all the bells and whistles of call center but has worked better than many other vendors Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting is lacking and slow to improve Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the easy UI access with all your sub-accounts, features accessibility and control, great customer support, white label user login dashboard, and simple pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It used to be not able to use wireless handset for clients, but with the added devices on the list. I am able to get clients phone system setup using their normal wireless handsets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
2600Hz is enabling us to realize our vision quickly and comprehensively. We are confident in our ability to continue innovating and delivering exceptional customer experiences. I was impressed by the support and attention we received. They were in full support of helping us accomplish our goals, including whatever resources it took to do so. We are very proud to have done what we did, and 2600Hz has been a great partner. It makes it easy for me to recommend them to others in our industry Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Buggy at times and slow, could use some improvement with upgrades. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to get started, very intuitive user interface, zero-touch configuration with Yealink devices
some apps are very powerful while simple looking, nice online community
amazing support for minor issues Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited to no SMS capabilities
Not reliable (especially call center) we had had issues after every single update so far (and to often major system issues not just the expected bugs)
Support for small minor issues has improved and is great most of the time lately, but for real issues, you are on your own and have to beg for answers or progress to be made (not referring to minor issues, major system issues, but hard to get anyone attention)
And major system issues (and they come up too often), especially after any updates, and response is very slow (you will get check-ins to ensure the ticket has activity... but no action or ETA when you have a real major system issue & custmers waiting for days)
It has now reached a breaking point where we are starting to migrate new clients and no longer can use 2600hz for stable business Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Reliability and Flexibility of their services is amazing
You can start on their hosted platform, move to Private Cloud (private servers that they manage for you) then move to Global Infrastructure (Your servers in your data centers that they manage for you)
So easy to start! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can't think of any honestly. They have been a great partner for the past 13+ years! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is easy to configure the system to meet customer needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being a cloud platform, there is a worry about maintaining uptime, but they generally do a great job keeping things running and informing us of any issues as they occur. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
2600Hz is reliable, with nearly no downtime and quick responses to potential outages. A knowledgeable team of technicians is kind and quick to support. Easy-to-use UI and intuitive design make 2600Hz easy to learn, maintain and build. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With such a robust, capable platform (still growing/improving), reliability and functionality are definitely among their strong suits. Being a LONG time user, we know every day that choosing them to partner with was an excellent decision. Can’t say enough good about their support and intuitive interfacing! Very hard to find something to complain about. Even typical, buggy development pains are outpaced by their speedy responsiveness. Added features continue to develop and become available more efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
