Engage connects an idea submission and evaluation workflow with project roadmaps, problem-solving tools, a central project repository, and dashboards. Employees can submit ideas through a configurable form. Teams can score ideas against organizational priorities, route them for review, and turn approved ideas into projects. Project leaders can then follow standard methods such as DMAIC, Design for Six Sigma, Plan-Do-Check-Act, and Kaizen, or use roadmaps customized to their own approach. Key capabilities include: - Idea forms, weighted scoring, and review workflows for evaluating improvement opportunities. - Project roadmaps, task tracking, stage reviews, and automated notifications. - Process maps, value stream maps, brainstorming diagrams, and forms such as project charters, SIPOC, Five Whys, and FMEA. - Dashboards and reports for monitoring project status, team workload, savings, and progress toward targets. - Role-based permissions, a central repository, and configurable templates, fields, and reports. Engage includes a web app for portfolio visibility and a Windows desktop app for project execution. Project data can be shared with stakeholders through reports and dashboards. Teams can also send output from Minitab Statistical Software into Engage or include a Minitab project file in a roadmap. The desktop toolkit also includes Monte Carlo simulation for exploring parameter changes and sensitivity in modeled processes. The software supports use cases such as managing Lean Six Sigma deployments, coordinating cross-functional improvement work, documenting projects, and tracking the outcomes of an improvement program.
