Based on 2,037 G2 user reviews from the past year, Zoom Workplace proves to be a strong choice for businesses seeking a reliable and feature-rich communication platform. It maintains a solid average star rating of 4.56 out of 5 and earns an excellent recommendation score of 9.12 out of 10, indicating widespread user satisfaction. Usability is another high point, with an ease of use score of 6.50 and a meets requirements rating of 6.48 (on a 7-point scale). G2 reviewers frequently highlight Zoom Workplace’s intuitive interface, high-quality video and audio, and seamless integration with scheduling and collaboration tools. While some users on G2 mention occasional connectivity hiccups or a desire for more customization, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive. For software buyers looking for a dependable and easy-to-use collaboration solution, Zoom Workplace is clearly worth the investment.
Yes, absolutely, it has made very easy for us to meet for business purposes, it has helped a lot in covid times in almost of every industry.
Yes, I am 100% satisfied using it.
With the additional included features, this would be worth it depending on whether you would need additional features and to go beyond the time limitations in the unpaid version.
In my experience, I completely agree with most of what G2 users highlight about Zoom Workplace. It’s one of the most reliable and user-friendly communication platforms I’ve worked with. The interface feels intuitive, and meetings run smoothly with great audio and video quality. I also appreciate how well it integrates with calendars and collaboration tools it really helps keep everything organized.
Of course, there are occasional connectivity issues, especially when bandwidth isn’t stable, but that’s something you’ll find with almost any platform. Overall, I think Zoom Workplace offers excellent value for businesses that prioritize clear communication and productivity. It’s definitely a tool I would recommend.
Hey G2 workplace ops community! I want to poll the community to find the best tools for tracking workspace utilization. Desk booking platforms increasingly bundle analytics—occupancy trends, check-ins vs. no-shows, neighborhood usage—which is gold for right-sizing space. Have you used any of these top-rated apps in G2’s Desk Booking category?
Zoom Workplace – Best for organizations already standardized on Zoom
Zoom’s Workspace Reservation sits inside the Zoom suite, with wayfinding and reservation workflows that feed usage insights across sites. If you’re deep in Zoom, this can centralize booking + utilization data without extra tooling.
Archie – Best for built-in workspace analytics alongside booking
Archie combines desk/room booking with workspace analytics so teams can spot underused areas and adjust policies or layouts quickly—useful for hybrid programs evolving week to week.
Joan – Best for pairing booking data with signage for real-world utilization
Joan covers desk reservations and digital signage, and its feature set includes Analytics and Space Usage—helpful when you want booking data reflected on-site and in reports.
Skedda – Best lightweight option with clear usage and workplace analytics
Skedda’s strengths are ease of use and integrations (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace), plus Workplace Analytics and Space Usage metrics for simple, exportable utilization tracking.
OfficeRnD Workplace – Best for policy-aware, multi-location utilization views
OfficeRnD layers booking with Room/Desk Usage Insights, automatic grouping, and neighborhoods—giving ops teams granular, policy-driven analytics across large footprints.
Have you implemented any of these for utilization tracking? Which KPIs (peak occupancy, no-show rate, booking lead time) actually changed your plans—seat ratios, team neighborhoods, or consolidations? Share what worked and what didn’t, and I’ll update the list based on real-world results.

Hi everyone!
I want to start a discussion focused on desk booking tools that teams are actually using and finding value in. While some tools are lean enterprise, several have features and integrations that make sense for smaller teams or fast-growing companies operating hybrid offices.
These are some of the options in G2’s Desk Booking category:
- Zoom Workplace: Familiar collaboration suite with built-in Workspace Reservation. For teams standardizing on one stack, does the calendar-native booking and recurring reservations make rollouts smoother across locations?
- OfficeRnD Workplace: Strong policies, neighborhoods, and analytics for hot desking and hoteling. For multi-site setups, is the admin control and SSO/HRIS integration worth it compared with lighter tools?
- Skedda: Known for ease of use plus Microsoft 365/Google Workspace integrations. For lean IT teams, is Skedda’s simplicity enough to manage large floorplates with minimal overhead?
If you’ve implemented any of these (or others) for hot desking and workspace reservations, I’d love to hear what worked well, what didn’t, and which features, like auto-release/no-show rules, team neighborhoods, or sensor/badge integrations, actually moved the needle.
What moved the needle on adoption (SSO, mobile app, “who’s in” view, floor-plan UX)? And if you switched tools, what was the tipping point?
