Digital Ocean solves the problem of complicated and expensive cloud hosting for developers and small teams. In my case, the NSX part is not that it doesn't work well, rather it's that due to the type of infrastructure we have, we won't be able to make the most of this functionality even if we have it available. Initially, it was a bit more complex since we didn't have internet access for the installer and had to make a first attempt using an offline bundle, but once we were able to provide internet access to the VMware Cloud Foundation installer, everything flowed much faster. Overall, there is very little to dislike about Kinsta, but if we had to point out one area, it would be the resource allocation limits. With Lambda, I can deploy code to handle a specific task without managing the underlying infrastructure. While working with backup integrations in AWS, Morpheus Data provides usage of stored procedures & credentials in its platform. This reduces the complexity involved with accessing the AWS resources as all the IAM roles and policies are defined in their utility. We can also provide specifications on runtime for our external systems without interrupting our tasks which is helpful.
