“Declarative automation and real-time reporting that power our nonprofit work”
What do you like best about Salesforce Headless 360 Platform (formerly Salesforce Platform)?

As the Salesforce admin at World Central Kitchen, what I value most is how much I can build declaratively without code. Flow Builder lets me automate our volunteer intake, donation acknowledgments, and field response workflows so the team spends less time on manual data entry and more time getting meals to people. The reporting and dashboard tools are excellent for tracking meals served, active field operations, and donor engagement in real time, which makes it easy to give our leadership and program teams the numbers they need. The Nonprofit Cloud data model and the AppExchange ecosystem also mean I rarely have to reinvent the wheel, and the platform's flexibility lets me tailor page layouts and objects to how our disaster-response programs actually work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Headless 360 Platform (formerly Salesforce Platform)?

The biggest challenge is cost and complexity. Even with nonprofit discounts, the licensing and add-on pricing adds up quickly for a lean organization, and it takes real budget planning to justify. The platform is powerful but has a steep learning curve, so onboarding new staff and volunteers takes time and I often end up building custom training. Some of the more advanced features effectively require a consultant or a lot of admin hours to configure well. Performance can lag on very large reports, and the frequent seasonal releases occasionally change behavior I've built around, so I have to keep an eye on release notes to avoid surprises. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesforce Headless 360 Platform (formerly Salesforce Platform) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Salesforce, our donor, volunteer, and program data lived in scattered spreadsheets and disconnected tools, which made it hard to get a single, trustworthy view of our operations. Now we have one central system where we track donations, manage volunteers, and monitor field response programs, so our development, operations, and leadership teams are all working from the same data. Automating acknowledgments and intake with Flow has cut down significantly on manual work, and real-time dashboards let us report on meals served and donor impact without pulling numbers together by hand. The biggest benefit is speed and confidence in our data, which matters a lot when we're standing up disaster response quickly and need to act on accurate information. “Centralized Protection and Backup Management in One Straightforward Console”
What do you like best about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?

What I like most is the centralized management and the wide range of protection options available in one platform. It makes it easier to manage endpoint backups, Microsoft 365 protection, alerts, and overall backup operations from a single console. The interface is generally straightforward and works well for day-to-day administration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud?

Acronis integrates well with the Microsoft 365 environment, which is useful for protecting cloud data alongside endpoint backups. I also found it convenient to manage endpoint protection and backup activities from the same platform rather than relying on completely separate tools. The centralized approach makes it easier to manage different protection requirements across users and devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Acronis helps us centralize backup and protection for endpoints and Microsoft 365 data instead of managing these tasks through separate solutions. It makes day-to-day administration easier by providing a single console for managing devices, protection policies, backups, and alerts. This has helped simplify deployment and monitoring, improve visibility into backup status, and reduce the manual effort required to manage multiple devices and customer environments. “Easy-to-Use and Fast, but Pricing, Support, and Automation Need Work”
What do you like best about VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)?

The UI for vmware is pretty easy to navigate and very straightforward. With minimal training, we can direct people to do basic tasks like restart a VM for instance. Another thing we like is the overall performance of it. It's almost always snappy when trying to navigate. We also like the overall integrations that can be done with the tool. We have been able to automate processes using the integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)?

The pricing is one big thing. Broadcam has increased the price of it overall with no real value add to it. We also don't like the overall change to a subscription model. While we mentioned the integrations as a postive, we do wish there was better built in automation for vmware so we wouldn't have to write a 4000 line script just to create a virtual machine.

Support is also not good. 9/10 times you have to hope that someone ran into the issue and they logged the fix for the wider userbase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's helping us with deploying our apps through virtual boxes and also providing a solution that allows us to create VDIs for our contractors. Also, thanks to how it integrates with our network policies, we are able to delegate the permisiions and access each contracting organization will need to perform their tasks. “Streamlines Server Management, but Pricing is Steep”
What do you like best about VMware vSphere?

I really like VMware vSphere's vMotion feature, which lets me move live virtual machines between hosts with zero downtime, still feels a bit magical even after using it for years. The resource management and how it balances load automatically across hosts is also very handy. The dashboard and monitoring options give me a clear picture of what is going on without needing separate tools. The snapshot feature is a lifesaver before doing any risky patching or update, allowing me to revert back if something breaks. Integration with other VMware tools is smooth, and the whole high availability setup means our systems restart on another host automatically if one server goes down, saving a lot of late-night calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VMware vSphere?

Pricing and licensing is the biggest pain point honestly, after the Broadcom changes the cost went up a lot and the bundling of licenses is confusing for smaller teams like ours. The web client can also feel a bit slow or laggy sometimes, especially when managing a lot of hosts at once. Learning curve for new team members is steep too, takes a while to get comfortable. I would really like to see more flexible licensing options for smaller businesses instead of the big bundles. Also the web interface could be made a bit lighter and faster. Better documentation for troubleshooting common errors would help new admins a lot too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is VMware vSphere solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use VMware vSphere for server consolidation and resource allocation, reducing hardware needs and improving utilization. It allows seamless VM migrations during maintenance with no downtime, and its resource management balances loads effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AWS Lambda?

1. A serverless service, which can be used for automating the work. ex: volume backup, scheduling the stopping of unused servers

2. Implementation is easy; creating the function is very easy. and it lets u run code according to your coding language

3. As a user, we do not need to maintain; by default, AWS will manage.

“Effortless Managed Services and Outstanding Support”
What do you like best about Akamai Cloud Computing?

We appreciate having access to managed services, especially for MySQL databases, and we found the setup process far simpler than configuring a cluster manually. We rely on it as a core part of our main website stack, and integrating it with the existing systems we use every day was straightforward. Whenever we’ve needed support with our servers or databases, the team has consistently been available and quick to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Akamai Cloud Computing?

So far, our only real complaint is that we have to request limits for IP addresses each time we want to add new ones, and that process can sometimes take longer than we’d like. That said, we understand this is in place to help prevent abuse, so we can see the reasoning behind it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Akamai Cloud Computing solving and how is that benefiting you?

They’ve made it easy for us to host our public-facing infrastructure by providing timely updates, quick responses, and effective monitoring. We’ve relied on their services for several years, and although we’ve tried other providers in the past, those alternatives didn’t meet our needs. So far, Akamai has been the best provider we’ve worked with, and they’ve helped us save money on the servers and infrastructure we host through them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Fast Hosting, Consistent & Reliable Support & Pro Level Features in a Bundled Package”
What do you like best about Kinsta?

We are a family-owned real estate business and manage our website ourselves, completely in-house & have built it from scratch without any technical assistance or trained website designers or coders.

We previously used to host our website on cheap shared hosting, before moving to AWS - which ended up being too technical and complicated for us to manage as a small business with no in-house tech team.

We then came across Kinsta and discovered it via its rich and detailed blog articles which eventually convinced us to try them out.

Straight out of the box, the speed improvement was very visible and obvious - as that is their single biggest selling point.

However over the years, what has kept us with Kinsta is their ever-expanding basket of advanced pro-level features & add-ons that are included in the subscription - without having to pay for them additionally...

(Edge Caching, Cloudflare CDN & Security integration, Premium DNS and other top-tier features have been included as part of the basic subscription and have made a world of difference to our website hosting experience)

On top of their amazing tech stack, their support - both the speed of response and the technical expertise of the team in figuring out the most complicated caching and WordPress issues has made it very easy for a non-technical oriented team like ours to be able to have a very quick & error-free website loading consistently over the years...

While the plans have gotten expensive, for the speed and peace of mind they offer with the plethora of value add options built into the basic subscription, we feel the money is well spent and would not think of migrating to anything else after this... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kinsta?

Staging environments come with reduced performance - not the full suite of features of the live environment and while there is an optional upgrade, would have been nice if its built-in as a standard item or atleast offered as a temporary pay per use / credit based when needed for a short duration. Nothing else to complain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kinsta solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ensures fast loading speeds with an intuitive, easy-to-understand MyKinsta panel that makes it very easy for a non-technical person to be able to manage everything in-house without hiring technical staff, while still providing enterprise-level performance, features and page speeds at a nominal cost. “Flexible and Reliable Infrastructure for Containerized Services”
What do you like best about Amazon EC2?

The flexibility and control are the biggest benefits. EC2 makes it straightforward to run and manage containerized services, choose the right instance type, access hosts directly for debugging, and scale infrastructure seamlessly across different environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon EC2?

The main downside is operational complexity. Managing instance configuration, networking, permissions, external integrations, and container dependencies across multiple hosts can be time-consuming. Troubleshooting host-specific differences is also harder than with a more fully managed platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Amazon EC2 solving and how is that benefiting you?

Amazon EC2 provides the flexible compute infrastructure we need to run containerized backend services across environments. It lets us deploy consistently, select appropriate instance types, and integrate with other AWS services, and directly access hosts when troubleshooting. The AWS console uI also makes it easy to inspect instances, networking, metrics, and configuration in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“UltaHost Delivers Stable Performance, Fast Deployment, and Truly Helpful Support”
What do you like best about UltaHost?

One thing I genuinely like about UltaHost is how stable the hosting performance has been during regular business hours. The dashboard is clean and straightforward for both technical and non-technical users, and server deployment feels faster than what I’ve experienced with many budget hosting providers. Their customer support team also responds with clear, technical explanations instead of copy-paste replies, which makes troubleshooting a lot easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UltaHost?

The main downside I’ve noticed is that some of the more advanced configurations aren’t very beginner-friendly. If you’re completely new to VPS or cloud hosting, a few of the settings can feel a bit overwhelming at first and may take some time to get used to. Also, certain premium features are only available on higher-tier plans, so when you scale up, the monthly cost can rise faster than you might expect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UltaHost solving and how is that benefiting you?

We experienced a temporary slowdown on one project’s website during a traffic spike, and the support team quickly helped us optimize server-level caching and resource allocation. After those adjustments, the site’s loading speed became noticeably more stable and consistent. I also appreciated that their technical guidance was practical and solution-focused, rather than relying on generic support replies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Control Plane?

There is not much we dislike about Control Plane. After using it for four years, we have not run into any significant drawbacks or tradeoffs that stand out. When we have encountered problems, their team has been quick to address and resolve them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It provides plenty of functionalities which makes it all too easy to cope with the servers behind Elastic Load Balancers & Network Load Balancers. We can also work with server templates which offer great flexibility & convenience for our production movement activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?

While operating with a large chunk of server deployments, we face a few issues. Mostly they are simple to resolve from our end and in case it its a high priority issue, then we connect with Morpheus Customer Support Team who resolve our production issue at minimal time. Recently we had a problem with cloud sync and its support team updated the database schema which effectively resolved the problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Morpheus Data solving and how is that benefiting you?

While working with backup integrations in AWS, Morpheus Data provides usage of stored procedures & credentials in its platform. This reduces the complexity involved with accessing the AWS resources as all the IAM roles and policies are defined in their utility. “Effortless Railway Deployments with Helpful Logs”
What do you like best about Railway?

I mostly use Railway for deploying backend projects and small APIs. What I like most is how little setup it requires compared to managing a server myself. Connecting a GitHub repository, adding environment variables, and getting a working deployment is straightforward. The logs are also helpful when something goes wrong because I can usually find the issue without spending too much time searching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Railway?

The free resources can run out fairly quickly if a project becomes more active, and pricing can feel confusing when you're just experimenting. I've also had a few deployments fail because of configuration mistakes, and while the logs usually help, the error messages aren't always obvious for beginners. What problems is Railway solving and how is that benefiting you?

“UpCloud Delivers Affordable, Stable Performance with Superb 24/7 Support”
What do you like best about UpCloud?

For us, the most important factor was that UpCloud is a Finnish-based company, with datacenters/PoPs available around the world. So far, their customer support has been superb. They’re genuinely helpful and will assist you in solving issues, whether it’s day or night.

Pricing for the services is very affordable and has helped us grow faster against competitors who rely solely on huge hyperscalers like Azure or AWS. Performance—both the network and the infrastructure itself—has been stable, and we haven’t faced anything unusual so far.

That said, the UI/UX could use some improvements. For example, it would be great to have an option to see system resource usage directly on the dashboard. The same goes for user password resets: even though it’s quite well documented, I still find it hard to understand why this can’t be done with a simple push-button option directly on the dashboard.

So far, we haven’t needed the integrations or AI tooling, since we run on very basic infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UpCloud?

I think the biggest weakness is the UI. I don’t see this as a major issue—or something more IT-focused, technical users wouldn’t be able to work through—but as we welcome more "mudbloods" into the tech world by making everything low-code, no-code, whatever-code, I can see it becoming a problem. The interface just isn’t as clear for people who are newer to the field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Deploy Previews made design, QA, and engineering reviews much more practical!”
What do you like best about Netlify?

Immutable deploys have saved us more than once, especially when a failure had nothing to do with the code we had just changed. In one case, during a dependency update, the build completed successfully, but a library changed the behavior of a route that wasn’t covered by our tests. We used Instant Rollback to restore the previous deploy while we investigated, rather than rebuilding an older version or reverting several commits under pressure. The working deploy was already there, with the exact assets and configuration it originally shipped with. Context-specific environment variables are just as valuable during review. Production, Branch Deploys, Deploy Previews, and local development can all use different values, so our previews can point to staging services, disable certain third-party providers, and rely on restricted credentials. That way, someone can test a full flow without accidentally creating real customer data or triggering a live charge. We’ve also used Netlify Forms on smaller sites where a form needed reliable submissions and notifications but didn’t justify adding another backend service. It handles that kind of requirement well, as long as the workflow stays simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Netlify?

Build times become more noticeable in monorepos and in projects with a large number of generated pages. Caching helps when enough of the previous build can be reused, but changes that invalidate a large portion of the project can still take a while. On a small application, that delay is easy to ignore. Once several developers are opening pull requests and each one generates a preview, concurrency and overall build consumption start to become part of the delivery conversation. Deploy Previews reduce the work of maintaining temporary environments, but they don’t make those environments free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?

A checkout redesign had already passed local testing when the client asked marketing, design, and QA to review the variants before anything reached production. The pull request produced a Deploy Preview with its own configuration, the Netlify Functions used by the new flow, and a payment variable pointing to the test environment. Design left feedback through the Netlify Drawer, and QA caught an issue that only showed up when a user returned from the payment provider. The Function logs made it clear that the same callback was being processed twice. We corrected the idempotency logic, updated the pull request, and everyone re-reviewed the fixed version using the same preview link, rather than waiting for another temporary environment to be set up. After release, a dependency triggered a failure on a less frequently used route, so we used Instant Rollback to restore the previous deploy while the fix was being prepared. Netlify didn’t prevent the defect, and it didn’t replace proper test coverage. What it did change was how quickly the team could review the real build, trace the problem to the exact Function version, and recover production without having to improvise a rollback while the client was already watching.
