“Flexible, Scalable Platform That Powers Modern Apps with Salesforce Reliability”
What do you like best about Salesforce Headless 360 Platform (formerly Salesforce Platform)?

What I like most about the Salesforce Headless 360 Platform is its flexibility and scalability. It integrates smoothly with different systems through APIs, supports custom development, and makes it easier to build modern applications while still taking advantage of Salesforce’s security and reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Headless 360 Platform (formerly Salesforce Platform)?

One downside is that the platform has a steep learning curve, particularly for new users. Some of the more advanced features take considerable configuration or development effort to set up properly, and licensing costs can become expensive as business needs expand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesforce Headless 360 Platform (formerly Salesforce Platform) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Salesforce Headless 360 Platform helps us address integration and customization challenges by letting different applications and services connect through APIs. With this approach, we can build more flexible solutions, automate business processes, and deliver consistent experiences across multiple channels. It also helps reduce development time and improve overall efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Robust Virtualization with Centralized Management”
What do you like best about VMware vSphere?

I like VMware vSphere's stability and how it simplifies managing virtual infrastructure through a centralized console. I find features like live migration, resource allocation, and high availability very effective in daily operations. It makes provisioning and managing virtual machines much easier compared to dealing with physical servers individually. Once the environment is properly set up, it's generally reliable and doesn't require constant intervention. I also appreciate how the centralized console facilitates easier administration by allowing monitoring, provisioning, and managing multiple systems from one place, unlike managing individual physical servers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VMware vSphere?

One area where VMware vSphere could improve is licensing and overall cost, especially for small environments. The centralized console is useful, but troubleshooting certain issues can sometimes feel complex and take time. Also, upgrades and compatibility checks between different VMware components need careful planning to avoid unexpected issues during maintenance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is VMware vSphere solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use VMware vSphere for virtualization, consolidating workloads into VMs, improving resource utilization, simplifying server management, and facilitating faster system provisioning. It reduces dependency on physical hardware and enhances uptime with minimal disruption during upgrades. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Easy-to-Use and Fast, but Pricing, Support, and Automation Need Work”
What do you like best about VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)?

The UI for vmware is pretty easy to navigate and very straightforward. With minimal training, we can direct people to do basic tasks like restart a VM for instance. Another thing we like is the overall performance of it. It's almost always snappy when trying to navigate. We also like the overall integrations that can be done with the tool. We have been able to automate processes using the integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)?

The pricing is one big thing. Broadcam has increased the price of it overall with no real value add to it. We also don't like the overall change to a subscription model. While we mentioned the integrations as a postive, we do wish there was better built in automation for vmware so we wouldn't have to write a 4000 line script just to create a virtual machine.

Support is also not good. 9/10 times you have to hope that someone ran into the issue and they logged the fix for the wider userbase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's helping us with deploying our apps through virtual boxes and also providing a solution that allows us to create VDIs for our contractors. Also, thanks to how it integrates with our network policies, we are able to delegate the permisiions and access each contracting organization will need to perform their tasks. “Easy Serverless Backend Logic with Scalable, Cost-Efficient Event-Driven Workflows”
What do you like best about AWS Lambda?

What I like most about AWS Lambda is how easy it makes it to run backend logic without having to manage servers. It’s especially useful for building event-driven workflows, where code can run automatically in response to triggers from services like API Gateway, S3, SQS, or CloudWatch. For me, the main benefits are scalability, cost efficiency, and less infrastructure maintenance overall. Because of that, I can spend more time on the business logic and the automation flow, rather than worrying about server setup, capacity planning, or uptime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Lambda?

One drawback of AWS Lambda is that debugging and troubleshooting distributed serverless applications can become difficult as the number of functions and integrations increases. Cold starts can also add latency for infrequently used functions, and staying within execution time, deployment package size, and service limits takes careful planning. While Lambda works very well for event-driven workloads, very long-running or highly stateful processes may be better handled by other compute services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AWS Lambda solving and how is that benefiting you?

AWS Lambda helps address the challenge of building scalable backend automation without having to manage servers. It supports event-driven workflows that automatically respond to API requests, file uploads, queue messages, and scheduled tasks, which helps make business processes faster and more reliable. For me, this means less infrastructure to manage, lower operational costs, quicker development cycles, and more time to focus on implementing business logic rather than maintaining servers. “Effortless Managed Services and Outstanding Support”
What do you like best about Akamai Cloud Computing?

We appreciate having access to managed services, especially for MySQL databases, and we found the setup process far simpler than configuring a cluster manually. We rely on it as a core part of our main website stack, and integrating it with the existing systems we use every day was straightforward. Whenever we’ve needed support with our servers or databases, the team has consistently been available and quick to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Akamai Cloud Computing?

So far, our only real complaint is that we have to request limits for IP addresses each time we want to add new ones, and that process can sometimes take longer than we’d like. That said, we understand this is in place to help prevent abuse, so we can see the reasoning behind it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Akamai Cloud Computing solving and how is that benefiting you?

They’ve made it easy for us to host our public-facing infrastructure by providing timely updates, quick responses, and effective monitoring. We’ve relied on their services for several years, and although we’ve tried other providers in the past, those alternatives didn’t meet our needs. So far, Akamai has been the best provider we’ve worked with, and they’ve helped us save money on the servers and infrastructure we host through them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Flexible and powerful, but pricing transparency could be better”
What do you like best about Amazon EC2?

The flexibility to scale instances up or down based on actual workload is probably what I appreciate most. We run a mix of on-demand and reserved instances, and being able to right-size our compute without over-provisioning has noticeably cut down our monthly bill. The variety of instance types is genuinely useful — we use memory-optimized ones for our database workloads and compute-optimized for batch jobs. Auto Scaling groups have also been solid for handling traffic spikes without manual intervention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon EC2?

The pricing model can be genuinely confusing, especially when you factor in data transfer costs, EBS volumes, and Elastic IPs on top of instance costs. We've had a few billing surprises early on before we got a proper tagging and cost allocation strategy in place. Also, the console UX hasn't aged that well — navigating between regions or finding the right AMI can be clunky. Documentation is thorough but sometimes hard to navigate when you're troubleshooting something specific. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Amazon EC2 solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before moving to EC2, we were stuck managing physical servers in a co-lo facility which meant long lead times to provision new capacity and a lot of wasted headroom. EC2 let us shift to an infrastructure-as-code approach where environments can be spun up or torn down in minutes. It's been especially helpful for dev/test environments that don't need to run 24/7, which reduced our compute costs significantly. Deployment pipelines are faster and more consistent, and we can recover from failures without manual intervention thanks to Auto Scaling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UltaHost?

The Ultahost services have been very good to work with while handling website-hosting. The installation process of this hosting company is quite easy, as well as its control panel, which is designed to make the task of server management easy. Another advantage of this hosting service is its quick loading speed and customer support, which makes it easier to sort out problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UltaHost?

Although generally very satisfying, there could be moments when it would be difficult to find the use of some of the features. Simplification of the dashboard interface, as well as provision of further documentation for some of the software tools, would not hurt either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UltaHost solving and how is that benefiting you?

“The best host I've used for serious WordPress sites”
What do you like best about Kinsta?

The developer workflow is the standout. Full SSH access with WP-CLI, Git, and staging environments makes managing production sites genuinely fast, and I'm on it regularly. Performance is consistently strong thanks to the Google Cloud premium tier and built-in edge caching, and the MyKinsta dashboard is clean rather than bloated. Support has been knowledgeable and quick whenever I've needed it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kinsta?

Pricing is the main sticking point. It's noticeably more expensive than budget hosts, and the visit-based plan limits mean a traffic spike can push you into overage territory or a plan upgrade sooner than you'd like. There's no email hosting included, so you need a separate provider for that. For smaller or hobby sites the cost is hard to justify, even though the quality is there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kinsta solving and how is that benefiting you?

Kinsta handles the infrastructure and performance side of WordPress so I don't have to. Managed hosting on Google Cloud's premium tier means I'm not maintaining servers, configuring caching, or firefighting downtime — it's fast and stable out of the box. The SSH and WP-CLI access lets me manage production sites efficiently from the command line, and staging environments make it safe to test changes before they go live. Automatic backups and easy restores take the anxiety out of deployments. The net benefit is that I spend my time building and running sites rather than managing hosting, which is exactly what I want from a managed host. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Gold-Standard UI, Solid Performance, and Fair Per-Second Billing”
What do you like best about DigitalOcean?

I’m still a fan of the DO ecosystem. The UI continues to feel like the gold standard for cloud consoles: clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Onboarding is also a strong point, especially for teams. It’s straightforward to invite a new developer and get them productive quickly, without a big learning curve.

On the technical side, performance has been consistently solid, and the NVMe storage on the higher tiers really moves. Pricing feels fair overall, and the 2026 shift to per-second billing was a huge win for my batch-processing jobs. I do wish there were a few more native integrations for some of the more niche security tools, but the API is robust enough that I can usually script around the gaps. Support can be a bit slow on the free tier when it isn’t an emergency, but the platform is reliable enough that I rarely need to open a ticket in the first place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DigitalOcean?

I’m not a fan of how Managed Databases are priced—the jump in cost when you need more storage or a standby node feels pretty steep. And while the UI is great overall, their App Platform can still be a bit of a “black box” when builds fail. The logs aren’t always helpful, and sometimes you end up stuck in a “deployment pending” loop with no clear way to debug it other than nuking the service and starting over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DigitalOcean solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest problem DigitalOcean solves for me is operational friction. I'm a developer, not a full-time SysAdmin, and DO lets me treat infrastructure as a utility rather than a chore.

It benefits me by providing a predictable cost model—especially with the new per-second billing—which is a breath of fresh air compared to the 'bill-by-shrug' method of bigger providers. Most importantly, it solves the AI barrier; I can spin up GPU Droplets for model inference without a corporate sales call. It essentially allows a team of one to have the power of a team of ten. “Custom plugin installation aids well in utilizing credentials while interacting with external system”
What do you like best about Morpheus Data?

We utilize Morpheus Data as our go-to CMP to manage our instances deployed in the Amazon Web Services platform. It provides plenty of functionalities which makes it all too easy to cope with the servers behind Elastic Load Balancers & Network Load Balancers. We can also work with server templates which offer great flexibility & convenience for our production movement activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?

While operating with a large chunk of server deployments, we face a few issues. Mostly they are simple to resolve from our end and in case it its a high priority issue, then we connect with Morpheus Customer Support Team who resolve our production issue at minimal time. Recently we had a problem with cloud sync and its support team updated the database schema which effectively resolved the problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Morpheus Data solving and how is that benefiting you?

While working with backup integrations in AWS, Morpheus Data provides usage of stored procedures & credentials in its platform. This reduces the complexity involved with accessing the AWS resources as all the IAM roles and policies are defined in their utility. We can also provide specifications on runtime for our external systems without interrupting our tasks which is helpful. This eliminates the need to rebuild the plugin every time we do modifications to the user credentials and this feature saves a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Effortless Railway Deployments with Helpful Logs”
What do you like best about Railway?

I mostly use Railway for deploying backend projects and small APIs. What I like most is how little setup it requires compared to managing a server myself. Connecting a GitHub repository, adding environment variables, and getting a working deployment is straightforward. The logs are also helpful when something goes wrong because I can usually find the issue without spending too much time searching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Railway?

The free resources can run out fairly quickly if a project becomes more active, and pricing can feel confusing when you're just experimenting. I've also had a few deployments fail because of configuration mistakes, and while the logs usually help, the error messages aren't always obvious for beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Railway solving and how is that benefiting you?

Railway lets me focus on building projects instead of spending time configuring infrastructure. “UpCloud Delivers Affordable, Stable Performance with Superb 24/7 Support”
What do you like best about UpCloud?

For us, the most important factor was that UpCloud is a Finnish-based company, with datacenters/PoPs available around the world. So far, their customer support has been superb. They’re genuinely helpful and will assist you in solving issues, whether it’s day or night.

Pricing for the services is very affordable and has helped us grow faster against competitors who rely solely on huge hyperscalers like Azure or AWS. Performance—both the network and the infrastructure itself—has been stable, and we haven’t faced anything unusual so far.

That said, the UI/UX could use some improvements. For example, it would be great to have an option to see system resource usage directly on the dashboard. The same goes for user password resets: even though it’s quite well documented, I still find it hard to understand why this can’t be done with a simple push-button option directly on the dashboard.

So far, we haven’t needed the integrations or AI tooling, since we run on very basic infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UpCloud?

I think the biggest weakness is the UI. I don’t see this as a major issue—or something more IT-focused, technical users wouldn’t be able to work through—but as we welcome more "mudbloods" into the tech world by making everything low-code, no-code, whatever-code, I can see it becoming a problem. The interface just isn’t as clear for people who are newer to the field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform allows me to connect to real applications and deploy for various purposes such as ecommerce stores or client projects. I appreciate using artificial intelligence to help detect errors during deployment and enhance productivity. The command line interface, continuous integration, and continuous development features are great for ensuring my applications are always deployable and up to date, which helps prevent vulnerabilities and software rejections. Netlify automates the deployment process, checking for exposed .env variables and outdated software, which is crucial for maintaining security and functionality. What do you dislike about Netlify?

Netlify has where it requires you use a certain amount of credits. They have their own command line interface, which I can easily use within the terminal rather than using the web application. Or the web version and being able to manually deploy it. It also gives me error messages when it hasn't been successfully deployed to the platform and posted to the web. There's also some ways of detecting any vulnerabilities and how I can improve and protect the web application from vulnerabilities. Just like Cloudflare or Vercel, Vercel has a detection where it can tell if you're vulnerable and which platform is vulnerable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Netlify solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Netlify to deploy applications with live links, automate deployments using CLI, detect errors with AI, and ensure up-to-date software. It helps me showcase projects and handle servers efficiently, boosting productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
