## Runpod Reviews
  ### 1. Variety of GPUs and agile support make Runpod easy to use on a daily basis

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabio C. | CEO/Diretor de Arte, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Runpod?**

I like the variety/options of GPUs that Runpod offers to users. I use the platform almost daily and it's very easy to find the necessary resources to use in my tasks. I connect Runpod to my Discord and when I needed technical support, I also obtained a satisfactory result through its integrated AI. The price is a bit high for me because I need to recharge about 4 times a month, but I understand that the currency of my country is devalued against the US dollar. The performance of the PODs is satisfactory. The technical support through email assisted me quickly.

**What do you dislike about Runpod?**

I still haven't adapted to the new format on how to choose a board/server, so I still use the old format. I would also like the boards to have a slightly lower price or a bonus/cashback system for those who use the service regularly like I do.

**What problems is Runpod solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven't had a bad experience with Runpod yet, so I don't have much to comment on for this question.

  ### 2. Affordable on-demand GPUs with a real API

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian C. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Runpod?**

Easy to use, with a great API and excellent documentation for AI builders. I’ve loved the experience from start to finish.

**What do you dislike about Runpod?**

There aren’t many pods in my data center, and it’s hard to move S3 data from one DC to another.

**What problems is Runpod solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RunPod fixed the hardest problem I had as a solo developer: I needed high-end GPUs but couldn't justify a $10k card or a long cloud contract. I use it to train LLMs and run automated image and video generation for my own project.

Three things make it work for me:

I pay only while a pod runs. I pick the GPU I need, a cheaper card for light jobs or a 96GB card for heavy training, and the cost drops to zero when I stop it.
My models and data live on a network volume, so they survive restarts and I skip re-downloading 100GB every session.
The API lets me automate the whole thing. I bring pods up, switch between them, and watch for GPU stock so I deploy the second capacity opens.

  ### 3. Made GPU Access Seamless, Integration Simplifies Workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pulkit S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Runpod?**

I like RunPod because it offers serverless GPU access, which is really important for creating and testing pipelines in my role as a CTO in spatial data and 3D modeling. The integration with GitHub and Hugging Face is something I appreciate, as it makes creating releases and testing pipelines easier. With GitHub, we can deploy our code and push Docker images, and once a new image is successful, we can instantly have a new release in RunPod and start testing. The Hugging Face integration is great for connecting various APIs and models to our pipelines. I also find RunPod to be cost-effective since I don't need to invest in expensive GPUs. Despite cloud computing not being my expertise, I was pretty easily able to get a handle on it with RunPod. Finally, the pricing seems fine and the experience overall is a good fit for what we need.

**What do you dislike about Runpod?**

The availability of GPUs is a problem for me. It's very difficult to get uninterrupted access to the GTX 4050, even when it's not peak hours. Only the extreme ranges of GPUs, either the lowest or the highest, seem to be constantly available, which is frustrating.

**What problems is Runpod solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RunPod for serverless GPU access to create and test pipelines without investing in expensive GPUs. It eases integration with GitHub and Hugging Face. However, GPU availability, like the GTX 4050, can be frustrating.

**Official Response from Dan Stotts:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback, Pulkit. It is helpful to hear that serverless GPU access and the GitHub and Hugging Face workflow are useful for your release and testing pipeline. We also hear you on GPU availability, especially when you need uninterrupted access to a specific GPU class. We will share that feedback with the team.

  ### 4. Effortless Setup and Reliable Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey M. | Proprietor, Retail, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Runpod?**

I really like that RunPod offers 100% uptime, which is crucial for my work. The interface is easy to use, making my tasks straightforward. I also find the API integration excellent, as it allows me to plug it directly into Claude, streamlining my operations. The cost of RunPod is also a plus, as it's competitive compared to others, being slightly cheaper per hour. Setting up RunPod for my company was unbelievably easy and only took a few minutes.

**What do you dislike about Runpod?**

The serverless was not working very well. It was a long time to boot up. I would really like if there was a way to have the serverless functions boot up instantly, or even within thirty to sixty seconds, because then I could buy the more advanced servers, and I could run customer studies faster.

**What problems is Runpod solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RunPod to host the LLM for my market research company. It provides 100% uptime and is very affordable. The persistent volume keeps it always on, which is great for my needs.

**Official Response from Dan Stotts:**

> Thanks, Jeffrey. We appreciate the detail on setup, API integration, and how Runpod fits into your workflow. We also hear the serverless boot-time feedback. Faster, more predictable startup matters for customer-facing work, and we will share that with the team.

  ### 5. Efficiency and Transparency with RunPod

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Runpod?**

I appreciate the efficiency in adding my Docker images to the templates and quickly spinning up or down new instances when needed. I also like the good UX and transparent pricing that RunPod offers. Additionally, I find the auto-merge of my instance helpful if my previous host is no longer available.

**What do you dislike about Runpod?**

The availability of cheaper/older GPUs seems to have been reduced lately. For my specific use case, they fit better. The root cause is my repo is built around older GPU architecture, so it's not really your fault. But during the time I have used RunPod, it has gone from always easy to find one to sometimes I have to wait and hope one gets available later. I had to fiddle with the remote cert for some time during the initial setup.

**What problems is Runpod solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RunPod makes it efficient to add my Docker images to templates and quickly spin up or down new instances when needed, even though the work is sporadic.

  ### 6. Minimal-Effort Serverless Deployments with Runpod Flash

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex G. | Growth Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Runpod?**

It takes minimal effort to deploy serverless workloads. Runpod Flash is amazing!

**What do you dislike about Runpod?**

Due to global GPU unavailability, the serverles is sometimes not available.

**What problems is Runpod solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deploying an endpoint is fast, and I can prototype quickly with ComfyUI (POD).

  ### 7. Great Serverless Scale-to-Zero and Affordable GPUs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Runpod?**

Serverless stuff is nice with scale to zero, etc. Cheap GPUs.

**What do you dislike about Runpod?**

GPU availability is rough. There are also some UI quirks that take getting used to sometimes. An example is that sometimes docker version revs for serverless services don't always take (UI quirk). Another is updating a HF cached model takes two clicks (I think to get the current hash first).

**What problems is Runpod solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm running specialized models on serverless in a production environment (specifically OCR models). Largest config is dual A100 hosts so relatively small.

**Official Response from Dan Stotts:**

> Thanks for taking the time to write this. We are glad serverless scale-to-zero and GPU pricing are useful for your workflow. The feedback on GPU availability and the UI details around Docker version updates and Hugging Face cached model updates is specific and helpful, and we will route it internally.

  ### 8. Unexpected billing spikes and lack of transparency

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Syed A. | Systems Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Runpod?**

Service was very useful earlier, but now they lack transparency, which is a big let down.

**What do you dislike about Runpod?**

No transparency or accountability. Customer support takes forever to respond back.

**What problems is Runpod solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They should focus on customer satisfaction and improve the service.

**Official Response from Dan Stotts:**

> Thanks for sharing this, Syed. We are sorry the experience has felt unclear and slow, especially around billing and support. That is frustrating, and this feedback is important for us to see. We will route it internally so the right team can review the billing transparency and response-time concerns you raised.

  ### 9. Affordable Servers with Flexible Incremental Billing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Runpod?**

affordable, availability of servers, incremental billing

**What do you dislike about Runpod?**

i'd like more deployment info stored on my template so i don't have to choose each time. i'd like a more dynamic view of current servers so I don't have to keep refreshing if the one i want isn't currently available

**What problems is Runpod solving and how is that benefiting you?**

cheap on demand gpu for occassional use

**Official Response from Dan Stotts:**

> Thanks for sharing this. We are glad the affordability, server availability, and incremental billing model are working well for you. The template and live availability feedback is useful too, especially the point about reducing repeated deployment choices and refreshes. We will route that internally.

  ### 10. Decent Tool for Inference but Setup Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Runpod?**

I value RunPod's user interface. It's quite easy to select the correct graphics cards for the job.

**What do you dislike about Runpod?**

I think the availability of certain graphic cards, especially for inference, could be improved in my region, Romania. It wasn't that easy to set up, maybe a six out of ten, I had to follow a video tutorial.

**What problems is Runpod solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RunPod mainly for inference and fine-tuning stable diffusion models.

**Official Response from Dan Stotts:**

> Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. We are glad the interface makes GPU selection easier, and we also hear the setup and regional GPU availability points clearly. That context is useful, especially for inference workflows where setup time and the right GPU availability matter a lot. We will share this with the right team.

  ### 11. Great to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Altay A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Runpod?**

Working in a Cuda and GPU supported workspace is very important for an AI engineer. RunPod provides this with really easy installation and ease of use. For this reason, as someone who generally develops on notebooks, I love RunPod!
